It's not easy to find a good restaurant in Bielefeld, but we were very lucky with this restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was even better. I have rarely experienced such good service. And the boss we met was also a very good host.

Das äußerst gemütliche Restaurant liegt in der Altstadt von Bielefeld. Die Qualität der Speisen ist Top und der Service ist sehr freundlich! Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt! Kleiner Wermutstropfen- es gibt kein Bier vom Fass, allerdings hat der aufmerksame Service beim Flaschenbier (Estrella) immer für Nachschub gesorgt. Kurz gesagt, der Besuch lohnt sich!

Went there for the first time today. Mega location. Exceptional wine list with plenty of open varieties. That alone makes it worth staying in a hotel next time. The food was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Just perfect. The same applies to the location, cozy, warm and lots of corners, niches and cozy tables. And speaking of perfection. The service is friendly, extremely attentive and wonderfully uncomplicated. I'll be back and definitely not just once! Greetings from Wildeshausen!

It was my first time here in the stylishly furnished restaurant. There was a 10-course meal and it tasted excellent. The service was first class and very knowledgeable. A large selection of fine wine was available. We really enjoyed the whole experience.

We were very disappointed. At first our reservation was not found. Then they still had a table for us. The food was okay, but nothing special. When we wanted to pay, for the sake of simplicity we wanted to share a bill between 4 people, we couldn't redeem a normal voucher and a city for two coupon because the billing system supposedly didn't allow this. The service staff had no suggestions to ensure that we could bill to our satisfaction.

A beautiful Spanish restaurant. No tapas that are soaked in garlic, but everything harmonizes well and highlights the individual flavors. Great wine selection, inside you could think you were sitting somewhere in the streets of Barcelona. The service is also good, we are all human and everyone has a bad day. I think it's more authentic not to get a fake smile.

Impossible!!!! Went there a few minutes after 10 p.m. (on a Saturday evening!!!) and wanted to have a glass of wine for two after our visit to the theater. They were no longer willing and apparently no longer able to serve us, even though the shop was half empty. Apparently you wanted to lie in bed early and put your feet up!! Hospitality and business savvy I imagine differently. Ridiculous even on his homepage: Opening hours: Daily from 5 p.m. – open end to post when the lights slowly go out after 10 p.m. Maybe understandable during the week, but for a weekend operation it's an absolutely sad picture and more than disappointing. But fortunately there were and are also other nice restaurants where you can end a nice evening.

Centrally located tapas bar, tapas selection is very good, price-performance ratio is high, ambience, depending on if you come as a group, the noise is quite high, service is not particularly friendly, but not unfriendly either. My statement that the bread with the aioli was very dry went uncommented with a shrug of the shoulders. Certainly nice in summer if you want to sit outside. There is a cozy arbor in front of the restaurant.

We booked a cooking event for 17 people and were very satisfied all around. Under the guidance of the committed boss and his friendly employee, we cooked four courses together. Not only was this informative, we have I picked up one or two cooking tips, but it also tasted great. The wine selection was also very good. Finally, we were also very satisfied with the price-performance ratio. In summary: A big recommendation from us.

We celebrated our wedding (39 people) in Jivino on October 5th, 2024. The food (Flying Tapas Buffet) was outstanding, as was the all-round friendly, attentive service and the stylish atmosphere. We would be happy to recommend Marco and his team without reservation. We couldn't have imagined a better all-round package.

Erstklassiges Essen, guter Wein und eine sehr aufmerksame Bedienung bescherten uns einen wunderschönen Abend in einem toll gestalteten Innenhof. Das Essen war ein Genuss für die Sinne mit hoher Qualität der Zutaten. Wir werden beim nächsten Treffen wieder hier essen!

Wir waren mit Familie und Freunden dort. Die Tischreservierung über Whats hat sehr gut funktioniert. Wir hatten uns einen Tisch im Aussenbereich gewünscht. Die Erwartungen waren aufgrund von Bewertungen sehr hoch. Als wir dort angekommen sind war jedoch nichts Vorbereitet. Wir mussten unsere Tische erstnoch selber zusammenstellen. Die Sitzgelegenheiten waren sehr unbequem. Der Service war freundlich jedoch nicht professionell. Es wurden gerne bestellungen entgegen genommen jedoch mehr konnte man nicht erwarten. Es wurde nicht auf Getränke geachtet, und von alleine wurden wir auch nicht einmal gefragt ob alles zur zurfriedenheit ist. Es wurde nicht auf leere Getränke geachtet und auf fragen und Wünsche wurde kaum eingegangen.. Der Kunde ist hier aufjedenfall nicht der König. Die Tapasauswahl war zudem sehr enttäuschend. Das essen selber war gut aber sehr geizig gestalltet. Selbst für Tapas. Somit sind wir der Meinung dass Preis Leistungs Verhältnis passt auf keinen Fall. Zu Wirtschaftlich gedacht. Keine leise Musik im hintergrund ungemütliche Lichtgestaltung. Also von "Dolce Vita ' keine Spur. Auch der Lichterbogen hat es nicht gerettet. Der Innenbereich jedoch wirkte zumindestens viel wärmer und gemütlicher. Für ein Glas Vino kommen wir gerne wieder, aber mit mehreren Persone (7) würden wir dort nicht mehr Reservieren.

Komplettpaket wie immer sensationell Location wie im Urlaub, hervorragender Wein und super leckeres Essen! Das i-Tüpfelchen ist das wirklich nette Personal 💪 Heutzutage auch nicht selbstverständlich 🤫 Da kommt man gerne wieder!!

A great restaurant, very nice, cozy atmosphere, a bit cramped but nicely decorated. It would be difficult for two people at a small table with tapas. We had reserved and were able to sit at a table for four. Very nice service and we didn't have to wait long for our ordered drinks and tapas. The olive oil, potatoes and aubergines in particular tasted great! Price/performance ratio is absolutely fine here. Definitely worth a visit!!!

As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by a warm, inviting ambience that immediately creates a feel-good atmosphere. A truly great restaurant. We felt very comfortable. The restaurant is comfortably furnished. All employees are always very friendly and attentive. The dishes were perfectly coordinated. If I am asked about a good Spanish restaurant in OWL, I will always recommend the Jivino restaurant.

Recommended restaurant. The food was delicious and the boss was very friendly. There were six of us and we tried out a lot of tapas. The prawns are really good, only the cream catalana wasn't quite as tasty. We found the menu a bit confusing and the chairs outside were no longer comfortable after 1.5 hours. Otherwise everything was great. We will definitely come back 👍🏼

An evening alone at the Jivino Enoteca - was a good decision that I was very happy about. I was greeted warmly and when I said that I was alone, they kindly sat me at a table next to a small group so that I wouldn't be completely alone. I was really happy about that, very attentive. The wine was very good, the bread with aioli was delicious (aioli was too sour for my taste) and the selection of 6 warm tapas was a nice opportunity to try out different things. Unfortunately, 2 tapas (zucchini with feta and feta with leek and bacon) were too salty. Otherwise a lovely evening in a great atmosphere and food.

We were turned away. There were free tables and others were also sitting outside at the tables, but not in the courtyard. We wanted to order something because everyone next to us had eaten and drank something. We were told that we wouldn't be served if we didn't make a reservation. Absolutely disgraceful as everyone outside was served. Never again!

Bad service, unfriendly service

Rarely experienced such poor service. While ordering the food, the waiter looked around. There was no bread whatsoever. The food took forever to arrive and we asked for a small bread basket to tide us over the hour wait. The food came and was very tasty. Unfortunately, no waiter came to take any further drink orders. We had to demand this. Even after that, the waiter didn't come by himself. We didn't want to sit there and pay any longer. When we paid and it was clear to us that we didn't want to pay a tip for the service, the waiter took all the money and wished us a nice evening and left, even though we still got change back. We then had to demand this back too. A real disgrace! Here, gastro rests on regular customers, who, by the way, always had refills, and a “still” good reputation. But that will soon be gone if the service does such a bad job.

If the weather is right, it's full outside, which means bring your time. It took about 25 minutes for us to get the drinks and another 20 minutes later for the food. But everything was very tasty.

The service from and at Jivino is always great! Whether in a regular restaurant, at a cooking class or as part of a catering: the food is always delicious and the service is great! The cooking courses were a special highlight! With his humor, Marco finds a great mix of knowledge transfer and entertainment. We would be happy to come back with our team at any time! We had a great evening. The tapas were great, especially the mixed platters. The Spanish Tempranillo was excellent and went perfectly with the food. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed.

I would like to give 0 stars despite the delicious tapas and the sweet atmosphere... The owner, or whatever kind of "head" he was, seemed incredibly arrogant and snatched the €50 out of my hand without asking for a tip, he immediately assumed that my two girls and I would tip €12, with really really bad service. 4 orders were forgotten and the payment process was also ignored and forgotten. Unfortunately, both people seemed absolutely annoyed and uninterested and what brought the whole spectacle to overflowing for me were the exorbitant prices for really tiny tapas (yes tapas are tiny, but that...) two (two euro sized) mini zucchini rolls €16 Say... I'm just lying awake at night because I'm sooooooo angry about being there. Try to convince myself that I paid the money for the good company of my girls. Never again. On top, by the way, Carré car park - another €8 for 3 hours. Thanks but 🙂‍↔️ no...

AUTHENTIC INNOVATIVE JIVINO It was a very special culinary experience. The unique dishes were absolutely amazing and delicious across the board. All fresh and hand-picked ingredients were used. We'd love to come back, even if it's a little further!

The little courtyard is beautiful! Unfortunately we didn't like the food at all. Any packaged aioli tastes better. The classic meatballs were missing the promised spicy tomato sauce. Unfriendly boss! Hospitable looks different. But luckily there are plenty of other good Spaniards in Bielefeld!
