The food was okay, but the wait was long. The price was too high. We probably wouldn't come again.

We were there last Saturday evening without a reservation. The friendly waitress (a young German man) quickly arranged two tables together and made everything possible for us. Authentic Turkish/Arabic cuisine, prepared by the "mamas," was very tasty!

Great! Super friendly, highly competent (gluten sensitivity advice, menu planning). Delicious food with fresh ingredients. We'd love to come back and wish the team much success and continued motivation!

My absolute favorite restaurant! Everything is just right here. I can't really explain the few bad reviews; maybe it's just jealousy? In any case, we were always impressed, and I went there with a variety of people, whether vegetarian or not.

Very delicious food. Many vegetarian and vegan dishes, including chicken on request. I found this small, cozy restaurant to be a family business, where mom still cooks and the whole family has a role to play. It also seems to be a very popular restaurant, as all the tables, both inside and outside, were occupied.

We wanted to go out to dinner with some work colleagues and simply looked into restaurants that none of us knew about – and omg: How could we not have known about this place! Everyone was absolutely thrilled. The food was truly delicious, the service was super friendly, and they made every effort to find the right dish or substitute ingredients for any food intolerances. This won't be the last time we're here.

Absolutely exemplary gastronomy!!! Although the restaurant itself doesn't really do justice to the atmosphere. It's more of an experience-based kitchen in a family atmosphere. NOHUT is an absolute insider tip in Bielefeld and is rightly regularly full and booked. And yet, the incredibly friendly staff try to create a family-like atmosphere for you to spend the evening with them. Huge praise for the always friendly and relaxed atmosphere, the little recommendations before, during, and after the meal, and of course, the incredibly good food. Right at the beginning, they asked if any of us were vegetarian and if we wanted meat, and they explained the daily specials with great friendliness. A tip: if you're offered the staff table, grab it immediately! From here, you can perfectly observe the loving activity behind the counter and in the kitchen and see what delicious dishes are being prepared here. An absolute recommendation and a top address in Bielefeld! We look forward to our next visit...

Love, love, love for this place! You want amazing service? Then here's an anecdote: I called spontaneously to ask if there was a table available in 20 minutes. There wasn't at that moment, but we were supposed to come by - they'll manage. No sooner said than done. I assumed there wasn't a table available "yet" and it might only be a few more minutes. But we're welcome to sit outside, and the first round of drinks is on the house - this immense appreciation is absolutely amazing. I'd love to come back! (I don't even need to mention that the food is amazing, right?)

The decor is refreshingly alternative. I've only ever eaten here for lunch, but I can imagine nohut being a great place for a cozy evening.

Really nice restaurant! The atmosphere is totally relaxed and cozy – just the right place to leave everyday life behind. The service was super friendly, cheerful and attentive. The soul food is a real hit: colorful, delicious and with so many ingenious sauces that you can hardly decide. There's also a lot to look forward to - the plates are beautifully and colorfully arranged, and the drinks look at least as good as they taste. The homemade falafel balls and the hummus were particularly tasty. You simply feel good here!

No Hut Bielefeld. Try something different. Mediterranean cuisine, interestingly composed dishes. There are also daily specials. We enjoyed the food very much, the portions were a reasonable size, the dishes were lovingly garnished and the prices were reasonable. Card payment is no problem. Access to the restaurant is barrier-free, but the toilet is in the basement and can only be reached via stairs. The toilet facility urgently needs a sprucing up. But this is the only thing that needs improvement. We spent a very nice evening here and can highly recommend this restaurant. We always enjoy visiting Nohut when we are in Bielefeld and the quality of the food remains good. Unfortunately, our last visit two weeks ago was a bit disappointing due to the tone of one of the employees - he is medium-sized and has very dark hair. His behavior was distant and inappropriate, which affected the overall impression. Additionally, it took a long time for our order to be taken and an incorrect side dish was served. We hope that this will get better in the future because the restaurant has a lot of potential. Some employees probably behave differently when their supervisor is not on site. My wife left a really great review 2 years ago, and it was more than deserved! Unfortunately not at the moment.

But we were offered the sofa corner, which was perfect for us. The food was terrific, really great cuisine! I think the service staff was new and still had to sort things out a bit, but that's completely fine - everyone started somewhere. Nevertheless, everything was great. Keep it up! 👍

Very nice, somewhat ‘hip’ restaurant. The prices were very good and the employees were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was also in a nice area. Only the food, I had the 'homemade falafel wrap', lacked a bit of spice, although it was still very tasty and the falafel was also very good. My friends had pizza, which was delicious.

I'm excited! Lots of vegan options, dogs are welcome, children get drawing materials, there is a fancy chess board and a small ceramics/fabric shop downstairs. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

Good shop, good food, nice vibe. However, I have to point out that the so-called starter plate for 2 people is basically just some bread with a few dips... and that's not ok for 14 euros in my opinion, and shouldn't be called starter plate either.

We were at nohut on the weekend of the Leineweber market. We were kindly informed at the beginning that it might take a little longer. We were still happy to stay and were not disappointed. The waiting time was completely ok and the food was excellent. The Shakshuka is a clear recommendation and the pizza was also very tasty. We'd love to come back.

I've wanted to go here for a long time. The wait was worth it. The food was delicious in a pleasant environment.

Be sure to reserve a table, In short, it was nice, relatively spicy, with a starter and three other 'little things' we were full to the point of pasta and ate dessert. Afterwards I thought I'd lie down on the windowsill where I was already sitting. With wine, apple spritzer, water AND espresso it should cost €53.00. Incredibly cheap for two people. Starter humus with lavash - flatbread which is listed as part of the intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO. The hummus has a very spicy note and the waiter expressly points out several times to use lemon. Main course: Anyone who eats at NOHUT should already have become a little familiar with the food culture; it is more common to see the meal as a happening, where the community at the table and the sharing of different plates/dishes is the focus , than simply shoveling in fatty meat quickly and then expecting that everything will cost a maximum of €5 So: Cigar Börek, Eggplant Shamshak, Bulgur-Çığ Köfte. For dessert, a warm semolina pudding with vanilla ice cream and pistachios. And yes, it was tasty and spicy for us, and there is no ayran (drinking yoghurt). The Çiğ Köfte comes with peppermint leaves and lettuce, as well as barbeque sauce, it's better to add the homemade NOHUT sauce, you have variety. It also makes sense to try the recommended tzatziki dill sauce with the Zogarrenbörek.

We waited at No-Hut for the first time today and were thrilled. We particularly liked the chicken wrap. The ingredients were very fresh, the salad was very crunchy. The falafel balls are very tasty and rich. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant and the waitresses were very nice and really personable. Unfortunately the lady ignored my tip when paying by card. There will be more for that next time 👋😀 We'll definitely be back.

I haven't been greeted and treated so kindly in a restaurant for a long time. And really warm and not exaggerated and fake. Together with the great food and the good vegan selection and the cozy atmosphere, it was just perfect.

Ich war im vergangenen Jahr mehrere Male im Nohut essen. Es war immer super lecker, die Mitarbeiter*innen sind total freundlich und die Preise sind auch völlig in Ordnung. Die Portionen sind meiner Ansicht nach von ihrer Größe genau richtig gewesen. Die Atmosphäre ist auch sehr gemütlich und bei schönem Wetter lässt es sich auch super draußen sitzen. Ich komme gerne immer wieder.

Wow...wow...wow I was there on Saturday and just waited a few days to see if I changed my mind... But I stick with the fact that it's a great restaurant...it was my first time there...very customer-oriented... And I personally ate my best pizza ever❤️ I'd love to come back anytime ☺️

I would like to express my sincere enthusiasm for this charming restaurant. Although a bit hidden, it is definitely worth a visit. I was impressed by the freshness of the food and the perfect balance of the ingredients. This place exudes a wonderful feel-good atmosphere, supported by attentive, fast and extremely friendly service. The food was simply perfect and a highlight in terms of taste. Particularly recommended as a dessert is the pistachio cafe with pebble chocolate😍
