The food is amazing, one of the top Italian restaurants in the city. I haven't had such excellent pizza in ages. Full marks! Because of the small size of the restaurant, it's quite cramped inside, and you shouldn't be afraid of being around the people at the next tables and hearing their conversations. Just a heads-up so no one's disappointed later. Reservations are recommended, as it's often packed in the evenings. The food is simply fantastic!

The atmosphere is really cozy and friendly, you're temporarily transported to Italy. The staff is friendly and playful really makes it feel like more of a dining room than restaurant. The food itself is fantastic, simple and satisfying. Great hole in the wall type pizzeria.

Recommendation: I had the "Margherita DOP" – crispy crust, perfectly baked, high-quality ingredients. Paired with a good craft beer – simply perfect. La Smorfia delivers excellent pizza, but it's not without its flaws. The dough is perfect. Long fermentation, a nice airy texture, and a crisp crust – exactly what you'd expect from Neapolitan pizza. The heat is just right, the base stays soft but not soggy. The Margherita and Marinara pizzas work best because the base is solid and the pizzas are straightforward. The toppings are a mixed bag. The tomato sauce is good, the Fior di Latte decent, but some of the toppings are overloaded. This overwhelms the dough and makes the pizza heavy. Less would definitely be more here. The service is friendly. Waiting times for a table can be long, especially in the evening. Reservations are recommended. It's not exactly a bargain, but still reasonable. The quality of the dough justifies the price. In short: If you want Neapolitan pizza and have some time to spare, this is the place to go.

I declare without hesitation: This is the best pizzeria in the city, perhaps even its quietest sanctuary. I used to be a regular, week after week, as if this were my second home. Now I manage to go less often, but every reunion is like returning to a lost love. Last night, just before closing time, we ordered, almost fatefully, two pizzas to go. I ordered my beloved Parmigiana, my wife the Pizza Noci, a dish of the week with pesto, sausage, and walnuts—so bold, so harmonious, that even the moon must have paused for a moment. I was once a regular, week after week, as if it were my second home. Now I can't make it as often, but every visit is like returning to a lost love. These rotating pizzas are like little theatrical productions, a new drama of flavor every week, a taste sensation every time. But even the regular selection is so perfect that you understand with the first bite: this isn't a chef at work, but a poet of dough, a composer of the oven. Even the desserts aren't just after-dinner treats, but encores to a performance you never want to end. And so, my advice to all the hungry: get your hands on this pizza, fresh from the oven, still pulsating with life. I myself will return, not out of hunger, but out of longing. Italian here! Today was my first time eating at Pizzeria La Smorfia, and it won't be my last! As an Italian who recently moved to Berlin, it was like returning home for a while. The pizza has a lot of potential. It's exactly what you'd expect from a Neapolitan pizza. However, it was probably baked too short a time during my visit, making it too doughy. I finally found a real Neapolitan pizza! The dough of the pizzas and the calzone is delicious, as well as the ingredients of the filling that I found to be of quality. The place is small but warm and welcoming, as are the staff all Italian. At the end of the dinner they even offered us limoncello :) Furthermore the prices are excellent (also considering that in many "Italian Fests" in Berlin the pizzas cost on average much more and the quality is not always good!)

Tried by chance with friends and had a great experience. Perfect place for an informal pizza, just like in Italy, without any particular frills that do not add anything to the experience (or rather, maybe take away, since in those cases the quality of the food is often overlooked). Friendly staff and really good pizza, fair prices for the average in Berlin. Never change, full steam ahead!

The best pizza in the area! My favorite pizza is the one with buffalo mozzarella and stracciatella – simply delicious. The dough is perfect and you can tell that real professionals are at work here. It's best to come early because the place is small and fills up quickly.

I've probably eaten pizza from 100 Italian pizzerias in my life. I was also with the best. There may be very few that are better - maybe one or two. But this place is definitely the best pizzeria in Berlin. Anyone who loves pizza must try it.

The pizza was incredibly good. The dough was great and the quality of the cheese was WOW. Fiordilatte is just mmmm. We ordered Margherita, 4 Formaggi and Calzone Classico. The three were incredibly delicious, really. Were delivered hot (could be a little hotter). 100% worth the price. We are real pizza lovers and this pizza is outstanding. We will definitely order again and eat there.

I'm Italian, and I think this place prepares the best pizza I've ever tasted. But not only that, the service is excellent and the staff is very kind and warm, they manage to take you to the south of Italy in an instant and make you feel at home. In fact, the atmosphere is also wonderful. Best emotions felt, here, in this place. I will stay here for another two months, and I would like to spend every Sunday here. If you are in Germany and want to eat a pizza, come here, you won't go wrong.

You can still take a pizza here at 9:45 p.m. And the quality doesn't decrease when it's delivered to your home either. We are always happy to be customers.

Pizza rating: Ingredients: At first glance and the smell of the pizza you can tell that only high-quality ingredients are used here. The amount of toppings was just right – not too much and not too little. Dough: Big compliments to the pizzaiolo! The dough was an absolute masterclass: the edge of the pizza was wonderfully airy, fluffy and super digestible. A look under the pizza confirmed it: perfectly baked, without any residue of burnt flour or anything similar. Service: The service was incredibly friendly. I felt welcome from the start

Great Neapolitan pizza, but the buffalo mozzarella is not of particularly high quality and the mushrooms are not fresh, but canned.

Pizza may have a reputation of being the best which is why we visited but the man at the front counter tonight was just rude. He could have asked us nicely if we minded waiting for a table. Or asked if we might want takeout instead. When we pointed to two seats empty at a four top we would have been willing to sit at he just responded “do you have a question?” And then turned away. I understand crowded but won’t ever return to give it a try.

A typical Italian or rather Neapolitan pizzeria as described in a picture book. This is family run and it shows. There isn't much space, 6 tables inside and, when the weather is nice, there's also space outside. The pizzas are super tasty and so is the dough. You can divide the pizza into quarters and, as is usual in Italy, fold it up and eat it with your hand. Whether calzone or classic, everything tastes good. We'd love to come back.
