Leider ist der Umgang mit dem Kunden sehr unangenehm und unprofessionell. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen. Wir hatten im Voraus einen Tisch für 10 Personen reserviert. Vor dem angegebenen Datum stellte sich heraus, dass wir 12 Personen sein würden. Um sicherzustellen, dass auch ein Tisch für 12 Personen verfügbar wäre, kontaktierte ich das Restaurant. Die Antwort auf meine Frage war "kein Problem". Aus Höflichkeit fragte ich, ob ich etwas Dekoration mitbringen könnte, weil wir Geburtstag hatten, aber plötzlich änderte sich die Herangehensweise der Dame am Telefon. Denn wenn sie wüsste, dass es ein Geburtstag ist, müsste ich eine Party bei ihr bestellen und sie würde alles organisieren und dann müsste ich ein Menü usw. bestellen. Denn dann machen Sie wahrscheinlich ein Geschäft daraus. Aber als Kunde kann ich auch problemlos mit einer Gruppe ins Restaurant gehen, aber jetzt leider nicht mehr. Die Dame am Telefon wurde von Sekunde zu Sekunde unangenehmer. Wir arbeiten nur zu zweit, ich kann nicht garantieren, dass wir pünktlich für alle Gäste kochen können, wir haben auch andere Gäste usw. Meiner Meinung nach sollten solche Informationen dem Kunden bei der Reservierung mitgeteilt werden. Ich weiß nicht, ob der Grund für die Empörung am Telefon und den fast schon beleidigenden Ton darin lag, dass die Küche nicht darauf vorbereitet ist, täglich so viele Gäste zu bedienen, oder dass es das Geschäft verbessern würde, wenn es als besondere Veranstaltung deklariert würde. Unfortunately, the customer service was very unfriendly and unprofessional. I do not recommend it. We booked a table for 10 people in advance. Before the date, it turned out there would be 12 of us. To ensure a table for 12 was also available, I contacted the restaurant. The answer to my question was "no problem." Out of politeness, I asked if I could bring some decorations because it was our birthday, but suddenly the lady on the phone's attitude changed. Because if she knew it was a birthday, I would have to book the party with her, and she would then organize everything, and I would then have to order the menu, etc. Because then they probably make a business out of it. But as a customer, I can also go to the restaurant with a group without any special occasion, but unfortunately, not this time. The lady on the phone was getting more and more unpleasant by the second. We only have two people working together, and I can't guarantee that we'll be able to prepare food for everyone on time; we also have other customers, etc. I think this information should be provided to the customer when booking. I don't know if the reason for the outrage over the phone and the almost aggressive tone was that the kitchen wasn't equipped to handle so many customers on a daily basis, or that if it were declared as a special event, it would generate more business. Or perhaps both. Unfortunately, in this case, fearing a disappointing evening, we declined the invitation.

After a very friendly welcome, I inspected the menu in a very pleasant atmosphere. All the Polish delicacies I knew were included. Since I only had a short time window, I opted for a Zurek soup and a pierogi z' miezem. Both dishes were deliciously cooked, with sufficiently filling portions. A delight. Until the next visit. A small, very nicely decorated restaurant with super friendly staff. It was my first time eating Polish food, but I was there with my Polish friend, who obviously knew her way around. The food was very simple, not fine dining, but that's a positive thing. Good family-style cooking, super tasty, and plenty of vegetarian options too. The ready-made beetroot soup blew me away, and everything after that, including dessert, was amazing. 100% recommendation.

I had the pleasure of making my granddaughter's communion, I am pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome of the owner, as well as my guests. The food was delicious, the meat was soft, melting in your mouth, well seasoned to the point that you didn't have to season anything yourself. The food was warm and brought on time so that everyone could eat together. The decor and the atmosphere was so wonderful that the guests and I felt at home. I highly recommend it because it's really worth coming and eating deliciously.

This is the fourth time I've been to Bistro Aleksandra and every time I'm reminded how incredibly good the food tastes there! As soon as you walk through the front door, you are greeted by a very authentic, warm Polish culture. I am very happy and grateful to have discovered this restaurant and I would love to come back. 5 stars are absolutely justified. Thank you very much for the special experiences and see you next time!

We had dinner in this bistro last night and what can I say? It was incredibly good. We felt very welcome because the staff (the owner of the restaurant) really puts their heart and soul into this shop and you can tell that at all times. The ambience is harmonious and inviting. But the most important thing is the food. As a starter I had the pickled cucumber soup, which was simply very aromatic and well seasoned. The main course was beef roulade with Kloski and red cabbage and that was a poem. For dessert I had an apple pie and it was also very tasty. It was definitely not the last time I was there. Thank you for this great restaurant experience. :)

The bistro looks rather inconspicuous from the outside. But when you enter... very cozy atmosphere, with a lot of attention to detail. Friendly and attentive hospitality. I can say the following about the dishes: definitely try the potato dumplings!!! The ribs were also very tasty. Overall, highly recommended!

I visited this place with my daughter. Fantastic impressions. A very nice lady welcomed us at the door. Two tables nearby, a German family was celebrating (I think) the birthday of the family's senior. Polish delicacies, Polish beer, mixed Polish-German conversations on the table. And then delicious dumplings arrived, brilliant pork chops and poetry of taste in the form of minced meat. The icing on the cake were pickled cucumbers. I recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely great, even if I have to open my beer myself (delicious honey beer from Poland this time, it's not sweet, just drinkable). fresh, delicious Polish dishes, the best meat and fish from Polish farmers, and the vital salad that goes with it - I rave about it every time. And home-grown herbs, if you have parsley between your teeth, you've been to Aleksandra. We keep coming back

I had the (dis)pleasure to spend time with friends here. The atmosphere, which I thought was supposed to be jovial and friendly, quickly turned out to be a rude caricature of a feast. Greed was mixed here with the imitation of low-level service in the style of a bar "nothing for me here" and the imitation "we are our own people here, so make yourself at home". Real shame.

I was there with my parents, who are Polish like me. We felt very at home because of the hospitality I received from the owner and I think from your mother :) The food is typically Polish and you can eat your way through the menu… Bygos was great, croquettes were great, roulade was great and I was surprised by the schnitzel… in my opinion you have to look for a long time in German restaurants until you find a comparable and such tender schnitzel find. Top recommendation!

Cozy Polish restaurant and very friendly innkeeper. The food was authentic Polish, well cooked. The meat is very tender and the salads are delicious and the pierogi with meat and the vegetarian ones are highly recommended. There is a selection of Polish beers available to sample. However, there is only one toilet for all guests.

What a wonderful restaurant! The food is fresh and tastes first class. The conditions are very warm and I have never had the opportunity to experience this in any other restaurant. Vielen Dank - sehr leckere polnische Küche

Im 2022 habe ich meine erste längere Fahrradtour durch Polen gemacht. Wenn ich dort etwas lieben gelernt habe, ist es die polnische Küche. Zur Vorbereitung der diesjährigen Fahrradtour, fing ich, Anfang des Jahres, mit dem Lernen der polnischen Sprache, an der VHS, an. Im Verlauf der Monate war auch die polnische Küche immer wieder ein Thema. Unsere Polnisch Lehrerin erzählte uns dabei, dass das Aleksandra, aus ihrer Sicht, das beste polnische Restaurant in Berlin wäre. Im Sommer ging es los, 1.350 km Polen, jeden Tag ein anderes Restaurant, von einfach bis gehoben. Ausgestattet war ich mit eine Liste meiner Polnisch Lehrerin, die alle Gerichte und Desserts enthielt, die unbedingt gegessen werden sollten. Ich glaube jetzt, ein wenig Erfahrung gesammelt zu haben. Am Sonntag war ich nun mit Freunden im Aleksandra. Ob es nun wirklich das beste polnische Restaurant in Berlin ist, kann ich nicht sagen, da es das erste polnische Restaurant ist, welches ich in Deutschlandüberhaupt besuchte. Als Vorspeise bestellte ich Żurek (stand auch auf der Liste meiner Polnisch Lehrerin). Żurek wird allgemein mit "saurer Mehlsuppe" übersetzt. Als ich das, dass erste mal las, dachte ich nur oh würg. In Polen ließ ich mich eines besseren belehren. Ich habe in jeden Restaurant, wo es Żurek gab, auch Żurek gegessen. Es schmeckt einfach super gut. Und was soll ich sagen, im Aleksandra schmeckte das Żurek auch hervorragend. Im Anschluss aß ich Gulasz. Das stand nicht auf der Liste meiner Polnisch Lehrerin, schmeckte aber trotzdem ganz ausgezeichnet. Jetzt kommt der Höhepunkt> Dessert. Meine Polnisch Lehrerin sagt, dass der polnische Apfelkuchen (Szarlotka), der beste Apfelkuchen der Welt ist. Ob das so ist, kann ich, mangels Erfahrung, nicht bestätigen. Ich kann nur sagen, dass ich in jeden Restaurant in Polen, wo es Szarlotka gab, Szarlotka bestellt und gegessen habe. Jedes Restaurant hatte seine eigene Art von Szarlotka. In einem Restaurant, in Głogów, gab es keinen Szarlotka, es gab Sernik, Käsekuchen. Sernik stand aber nicht auf der Liste meiner Polnisch Lehrerin. Ich bestellte ihn trotzdem und war begeistert. Im Aleksandra gab es nun beides Szarlotka und Sernik. Was sollte ich nun machen? Ich musste einfach beides bestellen. Die Größen beider Stücke entsprachen, energetisch betrachtet, zwei volle Mahlzeiten. Der Szarlotka war ausgezeichnet. Aber der Sernik war göttlich. Nie in zuvor in meinem Leben hatte ich einen schmackhafteren Käsekuchen gegessen. Davon hatte mir meine Polnisch Lehrerin nichts erzählt. Am Donnerstag habe ich meine nächste Stunde. Ich werde mit ihr reden müssen. Das Restaurant ist eher klein und hat damit ein sehr familiäres Ambiente, welches durch den dargebotenen Service noch verstärkt wird. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend. Wir kommen wieder! Do widzenia!

Sehr nettes Personal und mega leckeres Essen. Preis Leistung auf jedenfall voll erfüllt. Einzig das es nur 1 wc gibt und es leider ein wenig zu eng ist gibt hier abzug aber für Räumlichkeiten kann man ja nichts 😉 kommen beim nächsten mal gerne wieder.

Début d'après midi, près du château de Charlottenburg, un restaurant polonais très agréable. La patronne est très sympathique et me reçoit agréablement. Les plats sont excellents et la bière polonaise aussi. Une adresse à conserver pour ma prochaine visite à Berlin. N'hésitez pas, vous ne serez pas déçu.
