Food is excellent, friendly service

We came to this store because of the reviews. We can't fully understand it because we didn't know that it was so delicious. I've had much better falafel, but maybe there are different ways to prepare it. The vegetarian plate was OK. But the one with meat didn't taste good at all. Also bad area. Lots of poor people on the street and at the subway stop, you don't feel comfortable or safe.

Delicious delicious food, lovely service and big portions. The battered chips were a very tasty surprise!!

We have never had such good tasting and put together falafel and halloumi plates. The ambience and the staff immediately transported us to an Arabian place, off the beaten track.

€7.50 for a half-full haloomi sandwich. That's greedy and no longer good.

I had ordered 2 of them. Unfortunately, the pomegranate used were so sour that it ruined my taste for both of them. Just my bad luck with them.

I went there with a friend by chance, without expectations and good God... Let me tell you that I got a slap from a mason which made me reconsider my conception of taste. The waiter was surprised that we ordered a plate and a sandwich each. What amazement when the waiter presented us with two magnificent edible paintings, at that precise moment, we had already eaten with our eyes. The quantity of different dishes and their distribution on the plate called us to compose. The gigantic range of textures between liquid, creamy, crunchy, melting and soft, left us with an infinite number of combinations that I have not finished exploring. I went there 5 times in 5 months, each time bringing new friends and their reaction was the same each time: David, so you were telling the truth. 5/5

Food is great. I had the falafel plate for 13€. It cannot be much better than this.

We were there for lunch. I didn't expect anything beforehand, but was surprised with a very tasty meal. The name is falafel, but we only had the mixed meat plate without falafel. So I have to go again to find out what the falafel is like. The service was very nice and attentive, even though the store was full.

The VERY best falafel I've ever eaten! Crispy, seasoned chicken with delicious sauce and side dishes in a falafel for only €7!!! Unfortunately the drinks are quite expensive. But really the ultimate price-performance tip!

Cozy, quiet atmosphere and the food was the best I ate on my 6 day trip to Berlin :) only criticism: there could have been a little bit more hummus on the plate. But the total quantity was okay 👌

May sound exaggerated but i think this is the best falafel and shawarma in berlin. The price is a little higher than average but it absolutely worth it. The seasonings are exceptional, I have never tasted such a delicious falafel. Customer service is just as good.

The service is friendly and attentive, and the quality of the food is excellent. The area may be uninviting and the seating is torn up several times, but this is more than made up for by the fantastic food, drinks and excellent service. If you are looking for authentic and delicious Lebanese cuisine, you should definitely stop by here!

A reddit thread had a lot of people recommending this as a contender for best falafel in Berlin, and it did not disappoint. Service also lovely, and great atmosphere in the middle of Boxi.

We got 2 Falafel Sandwiches, which exceeded all our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised by this furniture also very good. Highly recommended!

First ate here in 2020 I asked Google for the "best falafel in Berlin" This place came up and I think it was right. Really, really tasty food, very good price and friendly people with a bit of jazz. 2024 this place is STILL amazing. I've eaten many many falafel and shwarma in this city and this is still the best. I live 40 minutes away and come to eat here.

Best falafel shop ever!!! We had the mixed platter, which has a bit of everything on it! Really everything was delicious! The portion was huge. Almost impossible to do alone! Service was very accommodating! From now on it will be an integral part of every trip to Berlin❤️

I was surprised by the place and its food, a fast food dish but with an explosion of flavors, really delicious. The bathroom was very clean. The place has a pleasant atmosphere and the presentation of the dishes is dedicated. ! I recommend it!

The falafel and makali are a revelation, no other falafel in Berlin even comes close... However, the bread is a bit dry and, as is unfortunately all too often the case, the sandwich is poorly layered, first the vegetables and salad on top and then falafel and sauce on the bottom. There is still room for improvement. Service is rather below average...

Everything is perfect. Best falafel and haluni with pomegranate and mint. Best sauces! Everything is crispy. And event soap in the bathroom is nice.

It’s not the typical Arabic shawarma or falelfel but it’s super duper tasty. Annnndd it’s done with Kaak bread which is rare to find here:)

Without a doubt, hands down, the absolute finest falafel and shawarma in Berlin. Both the plate and the sandwich are exceptional, likely due to their sauces and use of mint. While they are certainly more expensive compared to similar places, I think they are completely worth it.

Beirut Plate (vegetarian version) was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. Huge portion, various flavors perfectly composed. If I'm ever in Berlin again, I will 100% come back.

We were there a year ago and really loved it, but now somehow not at all. 13.50 for a Beirut plate with a small bread is already steep... and the halloumi in the bread for 7 euros doesn't fill you up at all. It's a shame.

looks unassuming from the outside but the food is delicious. the place was packed full and the tables very close to each other. we got the falafel teller for 13€ and it was enough for two people. the falafel and fries were well seasoned and the crispiest ive ever had. the dish was plated beautifully. the plate included sauces such as different kinds of hummus and a yogurt sauce, very good for sharing to try every combination. the staff was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was quite cozy.

Really cozy atmosphere and extremely delicious food! Especially suitable for vegetarians. We recently ate there for the second time in 6 years (we're not from Berlin) and the food was better than I remembered. Absolute recommendation!😁

This falafel sandwich feels super nourishing - with a lot of fresh crunch on either side of the tender falafel. It comes with a great combination of sauces, pomegranate seeds, sumac, and perfect seedy bread. Of the best I’ve had in Berlin by far👌 (And the staff are awesome ;)

Best bite in Berlin. Takes a bit of time until you get your food but I haven’t taste anything on that level here and it’s only because the unique toppings and servings they add that no one does and the actual chicken which they grill and tastes like smoke and not this bulk of shame that usually lingers there for a whole day, even the amba was pretty close to an original one and the pita was unique and full of sesame. it’s very easy to come across a place in berlin that literally *** in your pita some random *** leftovers like they are trying to make you not come back again **but not this place, absolutely recommended.**

Food made with care and no fuss.

I always go here after a long day at work and feel incredible afterwards. Everything is great, but the tellers are especially good and worth every euro of the 13 you will pay for them. Lovely, friendly service and always a warm atmosphere. Been going for 12 years and will continue to keep going for many to come x

The Falafels are amazingly good(therefore a bit more expensive than other places), I liked the atmosphere as well (it might be packed at lunch time though).

Just had the best Falafel Teller I have ever eaten in Berlin. Freshly prepared, nicely presented and tasted excellent. A very unassuming place with minimal decor but with great Jazz music to enjoy with your meal. Big teller and fresh ingwer tea was 17.50 €.

Ich liebe diesen Ort. Das Essen ist fantastisch, alle (vegetarischen) Gerichte gibt es auch als vegane Option, es ist klein und gemütlich und vor allem aber gilt für mich: Ich komme immer wieder, weil ich dort wiedererkannt werde und das Gefühl habe, dort sehr willkommen zu sein :)

Best falafel I’ve ever eaten. Not much more to be said.

It was a cold dark winter night and I was craving falafel (a regular occurrence). I was recommended this place and I was not disappointed. I had the Beirut platter and it was massive. So big, in fact, upon its arrival on the table I doubted I would finish it. These doubts were assuaged by the sheer deliciousness of the platter. Hummus, herbs, salad, pomegranate. Things fried. Things baked. A feast for the senses!!! Needless to say I ate the whole thing, was incredibly satisfied, and am already planning my return.

This place is amazing! The food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the owners are so sweet. I definitely recommend you check it out :)
