Best Falafel I've had so far :)

Dear Community, We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Falafel in Berlin. We decided up on Halloumi and Lamb in Pita and were both pleasantly satisfied with the balance of fresh and fried produce. Every bite was new experience with different flavors and bites of harmony. This is what a falafel should taste like. The range of spices was unlike anything I've ever tasted in a falafel sandwich. It was fantastic. The sandwich wasn't big and you paid €7 for a handy snack. Unfortunately a bit too expensive for the quantity (November 2024).

I usually never do a rating but the food was nothing but great. 4,9 stars at 1550 rezension is also the best rating I ever saw on Google. And I don't doubt it any second. Not going into detail about the food. I feel like it's all very good. If you don't trust the rating just try it and see for yourself. Ohh, and the staff is super nice as well. I will come back! At the owners: keep it up! You are doing an amazing job!!! ~E

Food takes very long even though it's a very easy dish. I asked for a glass of water, and he came back with a normal glass bottle 0,33L and it was 3€ in the end.. ridiculous

Trovato quasi per caso, il ristorante è piccolino e caratteristico. Cucina buonissima. Il cous cous è veramente da provare: spaziale! fresco al sapore di menta. Panini con pollo spettacolari! Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Vi consiglio di andarci se vi piace la cucina marocchina e libanese :)

Both the sandwiches and the Beirut platters are a real culinary delight. Prepared with great attention to detail. The range of spices is fully exploited here. Service very friendly.

Absolute gem, flavours are outstanding and portion sizes are generous. You will have to wait as each dish is made fresh, its certainly not a 10 minutes in and out place. Service is friendly and attentive .

I got freshly brewed peppermint tea on the house. I ordered a falafel in bread… oh my days, that was a fresh experience. I bit into it and felt freshly washed, similar to my lettuce in my bread. Thank you for this unique but intense experience.

My absolute favorite falafel (and shawarma) in Berlin. Both the plate and the sandwich are exceptional, in part thanks to their mix of sauces and herbs. While they are certainly more expensive compared to similar places, I think they are completely worth the extra money.

Worst service in all of Berlin! No falafel in the world is worth having to wait over an hour for your food when the restaurant isn't even full. When we pointed out to the owner that many of the guests arrived long after us and got their food before us, we were met with incomprehension. 2 of 4 falafel in the bread came after 70 minutes and the other 2 after 90 minutes, so we couldn't eat together either. Despite delicious food and several visits, we won't be coming again. What a shame!

I'm speechless. I “only” ate a falafal and halloumi sandwich, but this unique taste experience left me speechless. Indescribably good, a huge thank you to the masters in the background. I take my hat off, will recommend you and come back. Thank you!

We came to this store because of the reviews. We can't fully understand it because we didn't know that it was so delicious. I've had much better falafel, but maybe there are different ways to prepare it. The vegetarian plate was OK. But the one with meat didn't taste good at all. Also bad area. Lots of poor people on the street and at the subway stop, you don't feel comfortable or safe.

Delicious delicious food, lovely service and big portions. The battered chips were a very tasty surprise!!

We have never had such good tasting and put together falafel and halloumi plates. The ambience and the staff immediately transported us to an Arabian place, off the beaten track.

€7.50 for a half-full haloomi sandwich. That's greedy and no longer good.

I went there with a friend by chance, without expectations and good God... Let me tell you that I got a slap from a mason which made me reconsider my conception of taste. The waiter was surprised that we ordered a plate and a sandwich each. What amazement when the waiter presented us with two magnificent edible paintings, at that precise moment, we had already eaten with our eyes. The quantity of different dishes and their distribution on the plate called us to compose. The gigantic range of textures between liquid, creamy, crunchy, melting and soft, left us with an infinite number of combinations that I have not finished exploring. I went there 5 times in 5 months, each time bringing new friends and their reaction was the same each time: David, so you were telling the truth. 5/5

We were there for lunch. I didn't expect anything beforehand, but was surprised with a very tasty meal. The name is falafel, but we only had the mixed meat plate without falafel. So I have to go again to find out what the falafel is like. The service was very nice and attentive, even though the store was full.

The VERY best falafel I've ever eaten! Crispy, seasoned chicken with delicious sauce and side dishes in a falafel for only €7!!! Unfortunately the drinks are quite expensive. But really the ultimate price-performance tip!

May sound exaggerated but i think this is the best falafel and shawarma in berlin. The price is a little higher than average but it absolutely worth it. The seasonings are exceptional, I have never tasted such a delicious falafel. Customer service is just as good.

No matter which dish you choose, everything tastes delicious! The drinks are also authentic and so delicious – a real highlight. All in all the restaurant is top. The service is friendly and attentive, and the quality of the food is excellent. The area may be uninviting and the seating is torn up several times, but this is more than made up for by the fantastic food, drinks and excellent service. If you are looking for authentic and delicious Lebanese cuisine, you should definitely stop by here!

A reddit thread had a lot of people recommending this as a contender for best falafel in Berlin, and it did not disappoint. Service also lovely, and great atmosphere in the middle of Boxi.

We got 2 Falafel Sandwiches, which exceeded all our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised by this furniture also very good. Highly recommended!

First ate here in 2020 I asked Google for the "best falafel in Berlin" This place came up and I think it was right. Really, really tasty food, very good price and friendly people with a bit of jazz. 2024 this place is STILL amazing. I've eaten many many falafel and shwarma in this city and this is still the best. I live 40 minutes away and come to eat here.

I was surprised by the place and its food, a fast food dish but with an explosion of flavors, really delicious. The bathroom was very clean. The place has a pleasant atmosphere and the presentation of the dishes is dedicated. ! I recommend it!

The falafel and makali are a revelation, no other falafel in Berlin even comes close... However, the bread is a bit dry and, as is unfortunately all too often the case, the sandwich is poorly layered, first the vegetables and salad on top and then falafel and sauce on the bottom. There is still room for improvement. Service is rather below average...

Everything is perfect. Best falafel and haluni with pomegranate and mint. Best sauces! Everything is crispy. And event soap in the bathroom is nice.

It’s not the typical Arabic shawarma or falelfel but it’s super duper tasty. Annnndd it’s done with Kaak bread which is rare to find here:)

Beirut Plate (vegetarian version) was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. Huge portion, various flavors perfectly composed. If I'm ever in Berlin again, I will 100% come back.

We were there a year ago and really loved it, but now somehow not at all. 13.50 for a Beirut plate with a small bread is already steep... and the halloumi in the bread for 7 euros doesn't fill you up at all. It's a shame.

looks unassuming from the outside but the food is delicious. the place was packed full and the tables very close to each other. we got the falafel teller for 13€ and it was enough for two people. the falafel and fries were well seasoned and the crispiest ive ever had. the dish was plated beautifully. the plate included sauces such as different kinds of hummus and a yogurt sauce, very good for sharing to try every combination. the staff was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was quite cozy.

Really cozy atmosphere and extremely delicious food! Especially suitable for vegetarians. We recently ate there for the second time in 6 years (we're not from Berlin) and the food was better than I remembered. Absolute recommendation!😁

This falafel sandwich feels super nourishing - with a lot of fresh crunch on either side of the tender falafel. It comes with a great combination of sauces, pomegranate seeds, sumac, and perfect seedy bread. Of the best I’ve had in Berlin by far👌 (And the staff are awesome ;)
