The food is delicious, everything is prepared by the owner in front of us. I have never eaten falafel as good as here in my life. The gentleman doesn't speak English, but you can easily communicate with him using sign language and some German - and it's worth it! Plus everything at a low price. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

We tried the vegan plates 1 and 3 at Restaurant Karthoum and it was simply outstanding! We were very impressed by the variety of flavors and the freshness of the ingredients. Every bite was a real taste explosion. The dishes were not only delicious, but also beautifully presented. The friendly staff and the pleasant atmosphere rounded off our visit perfectly. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend the Karthoum!

Great place for Sudanese food. We had the falafel haloumi platter. Huge portion: meant for one person but plenty enough for two. Delicious. The gentleman in charge chopped, sliced, mixed and cooked our meal basically from scratch as we sat there. I love places like this: modest to look at but packing a powerful menu.

We had a great veggie mix plate that was enough for 2 hungry ppl, especially with a side of fried manioc. Super friendly service too, can’t wait to come back!

Was my absolute favorite Sudanese for many, many years. And then the energy crisis came and prices rose - which is completely understandable. But then to just want to foist half-filled sandwiches on the regular customers, who have left a lot of money there over ten years and have tipped every time, is a real joke. Bye, bye Kharthoum!

Plain, simple, good peanut sauce.

The delivery was on time, I ordered via Wolt, but unfortunately I have to complain about the food I ordered. I ordered Khartoum mixed platter for two plus fried bananas. The falafel balls were super delicious, but the fried vegetables where mainly the potato slices were present rather than carrots and co. were soggy thanks to way too much peanut sauce. The pieces of meat were dry and inedible, halloumis were ok. Under the bed of vegetables and meat there were salads plus another sauce. The sauces could have been poured into separate containers instead of cramming them into a plate. Perhaps the meals ordered would have been more delicious and presentable. Now about the fried bananas: Most of the bananas looked unsightly and had dark spots. However, the salad garnish was very fresh and crunchy. Unfortunately we are disappointed because it was our first time wanting to try Sudanese cuisine and our first experience was a bit negative. Please don't take this review too personally, I only write what I or my companion felt and try to rate it fairly and honestly. Kind regards.

Hab schon oft hier gegessen und es ist einfach immer wieder lecker. Das Halloumni-Falafel-Sandwich ist echt zu empfehlen. Die Preise sind super, der Inhaber ist wirklich lieb und auch das restliche Personal is freundlich.

Absoluter Geheimtipp würde ich sagen! Vegan, günstig und extrem (!) lecker. Wer auf herzhaftes, gut gewürztes Essen mit einer großzügigen Portion Soße steht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Die Tofutasche im Brot kostet (noch) unglaubliche 4€, der gemischte Teller 9€! Vor allem das Brot ist die reinste Geschmacksexplosion! Durch die bunte Mischung der Füllung und der Soßen entsteht ein komplexer Geschmack - wir kommen wieder!

Simply delicious! We tried the sandwich with falafels, which was amazing! Specially the peanut butter saucer was incredible. Prices are very good and the service is extremely nice and friendly! One of the most underrated places in Berlin!

Totally devoured my tofu-halloumi sandwich so quickly that a photo wasn’t possible — hidden gem, peanut sauce + spicy sauce is utterly divine.

Die beste Falafel in ganz Berlin und somit auch landesweit. Die Erdnusssauce ist wirklich unglaublich, die Preise sind wirklich nicht mehr zu unterbieten und die Location ist auch einfach perfekt und richtig gemütlich.

Tamiya (sudanese falafel) was excellent, crunchy and full of flavor (you could taste that delicious spice and herb bland was added). Halloumi was excellent too. On the other hand, meat kebabs had a weird unpleasant taste, those I do not recommend at all. Chicken was average. Waited little longer (10-15 minutes) which was surprising cause it was not crowded. They have no toilette for costumers

From the look at it you´d think this is just some hole in the wall place, but this little restaurant is gold. Their food is yummy and their service is fantastic. Whenever I feel like a quick bite, I gladly come here for some delicious vegan plate or a tofu sandwich to go. Attention: the sandwich is so rich and juicy that it can get a little messy. But I´d give this place 6 stars if I could. Worth every penny of yours. A treasure!

Essen nicht sonderlich schmackhaft, wirkte auch nicht sehr frisch, das geht deutlich besser. Besonders der Tofu ist sehr schlecht und die Erdnusssauce zu allem passt auch gar nicht. Hier würde ich definitiv nicht nochmal essen.

Soooo lecker! Kann ich jedem nur empfehlen vor allem das tamya halumi Sandwich!

Ich bin einmal pro Woche in der Gegend um die Wiener Straße und esse dann immer hier. Sooft ich auch hier bin, das Essen wird mir nicht leid. Mein momentaner Favorit ist das Fohl Sandwich. Alles wird immer frisch zubereitet und das Personal ist extrem freundlich. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Super, schmeckt echt toll. Die Zubereitung dauert etwas länger. Absolut empfehlenswert.
