House of Greens in Berlin

House of Greens is my absolute favorite café in Berlin. Every dish I've tried so far has been incredibly delicious and healthy. The service has always been incredibly friendly. The bowls are also great for taking away.

This is the restaurant to go to if you want a truly delicious and wholesome meal. The service and advice are top-notch. They clearly put their heart and soul into their work. Fresh herbs are grown on-site and harvested and processed when they are at their peak nutritional value. Simply delicious and scrumptious 😋.

A wonderful place with a large selection of healthy food! (Healthy, Vegan, Gluten-free, Vegetarian, Lactose-free options available)💛🌿 The staff was wonderful, accommodating, and very attentive to whether visitors are satisfied. I asked them to remove a few ingredients, and not only did they remove them, but they replaced them with others they suggested, asking me in advance if that would be okay. The food was excellent, filling, aesthetically pleasing, and veryyyy tasty! I wholeheartedly recommend this place for those who appreciate quality service and healthy food!☀️

This intimate restaurant serves creative, healthy, and tasty options. The first thing that caught our attention walking in were the visuals of fresh greens growing right there in the restaurant. With a nice selection of coffee drinks we ordered a couple of delicious cafe lattes (and were happy to see they only buy fair trade coffee). We both also ordered some beautifully made (and clearly fresh) salads which were also good sized. For my "dolce" I ordered a berry smoothie which was also really good and fresh. My friend ordered a date based item from the desert section which she said was excellent. They also have interesting vegetarian chicken options, waffles and a few other surprises. Loved this place!

This lovely restaurant was such a vibe! The service was great, the food amazing and the atmosphere/decor of the place was magnificent. They had amazing waffles (vegan) and rice paper rolls (also vegan. Both pictured below). I’d highly recommend it!

They grow their own greens, how absolutely crazy is that?! Healthy and tasty! The guy who opened the place on October 19th deserves a raise 🤌 so attentive, kind, and accommodating 💖 Even if you're alone, you feel super comfortable and not uncomfortably watched. It's also vegan-friendly, and they have kombucha 💕 I'll definitely be visiting every time I'm in Berlin from now on <3

I’ve been here twice. Their foods, especially Açaí bowl and breads, and coffee are AMAZING! Really fresh and delicious 🫶🏼 Plus, their staffs are nice and friendly, I always leave here with good mood and satisfying meal experience :) *Since there are not many seats, using Laptoop is not allowed in the weekend. No more work and just enjoy the coffee in the Ruhetag 🤣

I'm completely impressed! The espresso with freshly squeezed orange juice was fantastic. The bowls are also excellent, and the portions are generous in my opinion. The young man at the counter was the epitome of calm, very patient, and always friendly. Overall, I found my visit very pleasant and would gladly return.

The cafe environment is very comfortable, calming and serene. The food was absolutely superb. The microgreens especially sunflower are extremely fresh and very generously spread out. To top off, the owner is extremely knowledgeable and generous with his time in explaining how they sprout their microgreens and showed us a glimpse of their facility through the window. Impressive. Wait staff was equally as knowledgeable in the ingredients and know how. I plan to eat here every time I visit Berlin.

Very good restaurant, everything is cooked on site. The little extra: the sprouts are grown on site and then added to the dishes. The server/chef is adorable. I recommend it.

Tried the organic breakfast here — it was more “meh” than “mmm.” The “poached” egg was poached only in spirit, arriving firmly overcooked. Waffles were passable but forgettable, and the guacamole with peas had all the excitement of plain mashed avocado… minus the flavor. And while sprouts are nice, piling them on doesn’t make a dish magically organic or special. As a plus- very polite service and good coffee

My daughter found them on the internet since i will be working in the area. The food was outstanding! The service was spectacular! I am sure i will be eating there more often. Everything was fresh and made with care. I had the Sweet Potato Bowl and “Another Day in Paradise drink. Even the tomatoes tasted home grown. Definitely worth it!

This shop used to be a real recommendation: fresh ingredients, generous portions, prepared with noticeable attention to detail. Quality and customer satisfaction were clearly the focus. Unfortunately, the situation has now changed fundamentally. Fundamentally! In several consecutive orders, ingredients like jam or cocoa nibs were missing. Once, a salad arrived completely without dressing. The response over the phone was: They could simply use balsamic vinegar. Additionally, the portions have become significantly smaller. The containers remained the same, but the contents were obviously reduced – both in terms of quantity and toppings! Factual feedback was ignored. Instead of insight, references were made to alleged quality standards and weighing procedures. When asked how so many orders went smoothly and suddenly every second one was faulty, the response was something like: Then just stop ordering – we have enough customers. Even when the problem was mentioned in the comments section as requested, the order was simply canceled! This not only seems defensive, but also a deliberate strategy to get rid of troublesome customers. What's particularly bitter is that I never requested a refund for any of these incorrect orders, just to support the store—even though it would have definitely been justified. Had this attitude been apparent earlier, I would definitely have reacted differently! Never again. Both I and several neighbors and friends, to whom I had originally warmly recommended this store, will no longer order from it. Together, we've placed around 110 orders this year. They'll probably get over it—they have enough customers! We won't support such arrogance any longer. A remarkable development. Anyone who rests on their laurels and treats their regular customers like this not only loses trust—but sooner or later also the support they so confidently rely on.

The mushroom latte tasted interesting, the main course was also tasty and filling. I added protein paste, but overall there is still a lot of fat and not much protein. The downside is that many main courses work from 12, and I wanted to have a snack and fill up with protein in the morning.

Authentic vegan food. The best whole food restaurant in Berlin!

Superb real food- really healthy. No BS. A lot of restaurants are green-faced but offer sugary sauces and tricks. This place is like eating in my house- proper quality, and tasty. Service is also superior to average in Berlin, whilst fast and comprehensive. Im living close by and plan to eat there as often as possible and also uber-it

Wow! One of the best meals I’ve had in Berlin. Their microgreens forward menu was delightful. I got the lean salad with two poached eggs, served with the gluten free seed bread, and light celery apple juice. I also couldn’t resist a carrot cake energy ball to go. The server was so hospitable and even let me try a peanut butter stuffed date at the end. Divine!

Amazing Team, Great Service, and Delicious Food! Highly recommend this place—the food is fresh, tasty, and thoughtfully prepared with a great combination of flavors. The team is incredibly welcoming and provides excellent service. Just a quick heads-up: they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and open only until 4 PM on other days. Personally, I wish they were open longer—it's such a great spot!

Small breakfast restaurant with its own "greenhouse" for green superfoods. Although the service was understaffed due to illness, the man delivered quickly and friendly! The food was simply amazing. My highlights were the incredibly tasty bowl and the sourdough bread from "Zeit für Brot"

I'm not a vegan/vegetarian, I'd describe myself as a meat eater. But the vegetarian breakfast was so incredibly good—I'm impressed. It's a bit on the expensive side, but it doesn't have all that crappy supermarket convenience store stuff. You can get fresh and homemade food here. Absolutely top-notch.

They didn't give me any cutlery, I waited for about 15 minutes, the food got cold, in the end they gave me one fork, there was nothing to cut with, no service.

Delicious smoothies, desserts and healthy food! We were here in the afternoon and both had a smoothie and the silken tofu chocolate mousse. Everything sugar-free and vegan! We are not vegans or pay particular attention to a sugar-free diet and found everything super tasty :) The service was also very nice. The interior is beautiful and you can see how the microgreens are broken down.

Top place for a nutritious breakfast/brunch. I had the breakfast bowl with açai which was extremely flavourful and energy boosting. The microgreens wrap was also lovely. They are passionate about their business and it is worth supporting the cause as the food and welcoming service is fantastic. I would definitely come again if I revisit Berlin.

Excellent food and excellent service. Been here twice and loved the experience both times. Smoothies are great and the greens leave you feeling really good and energetic. Even my fifteen year old loves the “healthy” spin on food classics. Server is super passionate about food and explaining microgreens.

This is one of the top healthiest cafe I have seen in Berlin so far. They grow their own micro greens, each food has micro greens, not just for decor/platting but to consume it like a whole food. Smoothies were thick ants fresh. Not even once I felt guilty while eating the food. If you want some tasty wholesome balanced food, visit house of greens. I highly recommend

I love this place! Whenever I want to give myself a treat, I come here for their Spicy Mango smoothie, espresso, and Dattel-Schoko-Praline (absolutely delicious chocolate covered date praline). The people here are extremely friendly and everything is made in house of the highest quality. You can even see their dedicated climate controlled room that grows their own sprouts, wheat grass, etc. if you want to escape the wintery cold Berlin air or even sit outside during a warm summer month, this place should definitely be on your list of healthy and delicious experiences!

Great coffee, nice service. Price (unfortunately) usual on Kantstraße. However, charging 50 cents extra for milk alternatives in a store that specializes in healthy and plant-based food is cheeky. Why?

My absolute favorite dish is the sweet potato waffles—they’re a perfect blend of flavor and comfort, and I find myself craving them time and time again. The staff at House of Greens make every visit special. On one occasion, when my order took longer than expected, they kindly brought out a pumpkin soup for me to enjoy while I waited. It was such a thoughtful gesture and exactly what I needed on a chilly winter day—delicious, heartwarming, and memorable. House of Greens never fails to impress, and I’m always looking forward to my next visit!

So, we were actually on the move. My daughter really wanted a coffee from there on the way, from Steglitz to the long-distance bus to Hamburg. As we wait for the coffee, I look at the display and think, hmm, a bit poor, the few balls, filled cups and dates. I take the extensive and interestingly designed menu, read it, get hungry and can't decide. The young, very likeable man behind the counter gives very good advice. “What for on the go...?” He excludes waffles and rolls, and we immediately know that there is someone who, like us, does what he loves, even at work. What can I say, 15 minutes later my daughter and I had a lot to talk about, I had a bag full of really delicious fresh superfood and great coffee that definitely deserves a mention! I love coffee🥰 and if the color green has a taste, it is that of my many greens on the sourdough slices. Thank you, I am very grateful for this experience, these days it is often about quantity at a great price. What I have now consumed, wanting more, was 😉 Top quality at a good price (€20). First time in Berlin and this café was immediately convincing, inconspicuous from the outside and then the wow effect from the inside. The staff is super accommodating and friendly. Portions are mega and the food is really delicious! We'd love to come back :)

Thank you for the incredibly delicious food and the unique service. Delicious and healthy food at a fair price, extremely friendly and courteous service with simple furnishings. The coffee is particularly good and the breakfast platter is convincing. I think it's pretty cool that a homemade protein shake is offered.

Nice selection of vegan dishes. Lots of micros, but unfortunately I found my bowl a bit stingy with the mini spoonful of quinoa, too much salad and not enough filling warm contents, which were explained to me as "side dishes" (probably for the salad) with the argument for my feedback (! ) “that’s how we do it”. I don't think 5 spoons of cucumbers to 1 spoon of quinoa is worth the price. 1 star deduction for this, as well as for the slightly arrogant service, which stands behind the guest 1.5m away when ordering and cannot give a friendly smile.
