KaDeWe Feinschmecker Etage 6 in Berlin

Ich bin begeistert! Selbst wenn man nicht zum Einkaufen kommt, lohnt sich die luxuriöse Food Hall.

Die sechste Etage, die vollständig der Gastronomie gewidmet ist, ist beeindruckend!

Sehr lecker, besonders die Austern 😋

Seit über zehn Jahren kommen wir hierher, um uns bei unseren Berlin-Besuchen und dem Einkauf im kaDeWe schnell eine Currywurst mit Kartoffelsalat zu holen. Die Qualität und die Portionsgrößen haben leider nachgelassen. Mein Sohn bestellte Pommes zur Wurst, und wir konnten die Anzahl der Pommes buchstäblich an einer Hand abzählen. Als er fragte, ob er noch ein paar mehr haben könnte, erntete er einen ziemlich genervten Blick und bekam drei weitere… Ich glaube, unsere kleine Tradition endet hier…

Ich liebe die fantastische Auswahl & den Service. Ich war mit einer Freundin zum Kaffe & feinem Kuchen genießen dort. Leider war es zu warm, um einen kleinen Vorrat mit nach Hause zu nehmen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Bei so vielen Restaurants ist es gar nicht so einfach, das richtige zu finden. Diesmal habe ich mich für eine gesunde Alternative entschieden: das vietnamesische Pho-Restaurant Feinste Pho. Das Restaurant ist sehr angenehm, der Service aufmerksam, die Speisen dezent gewürzt und leicht verdaulich und zudem wunderschön angerichtet.

Kurz nach 20 Uhr am vergangenen Samstag hat Mitarbeiterin eine Lösung gesucht … ich konnte an der Spätkasse noch einen Artikel kaufen, danke für den unkonventionellen Service nach Geschäftsschluss an Ihr engagiertes Team

Es ist schön, besonders unter der Woche. Es ist nicht überfüllt.

Ein Freund erfüllte mir den Löffelliste Wunsch: Einmal Austern schlürfen, damit ich weiß wie sie schmecken. Ich outete mich als Anfängerin und wurde von Herrn René Rinneberg von der Austernbar ausführlich und freundlich² in die Kunst des Austernessens eingeführt. Tatsächlich war ich bei meinem ersten Bissen mit all meinen Sinnen bei meinem ersten Strandspaziergang an der Nordsee. Herzlichen Dank für dieses luxeriöse Erlebnis.

Wir aßen im obersten Stockwerk des Restaurants mit einem wunderschönen Blick über die Stadt. Allerdings war das Essen für Fertiggebäck recht teuer, und der Kaffee war enttäuschend. Auch das Personal an der Kasse war mehr als unfreundlich. Wenn man eine schöne Aussicht genießen möchte, ist es nett, aber das ist auch schon alles, was es dazu zu sagen gibt.

Ehrlich gesagt fühle ich mich in diesem ehemaligen Schlemmerparadies nicht mehr wohl. Zu hell, zu unpersönlich ... ne, diese Sechste macht keinen Spaß mehr. Wir gern haben wir an der "alten" Käsetheke gesessen, Wein getrunken und viele Sorten Käse gegessen. jetzt machen wir nur noch einen riesengroßen Bogen ums KaDeWe und überlassen das Feld Freunden der Schönheitsoperationen. Mögen die sich dort wohlfühlen ...

Wir besuchen die sechste im KaDeWe immer sehr gerne. Es gibt viele Restaurants, jeder kann was finden. Besonders empfehlenswert ist die Schwemme, Casa Beef, die Bäckerei, sowie Biers Currywurst.

Sehr luxuriöse Geschäft völlig überlaufen.

Ein sehr gemütliches Café unter der Glaskuppel im obersten Stock des KaDeWe. Viel Licht, ein luftiges Raumgefühl und ein schöner Blick auf den Kurfürstendamm. Angenehme Atmosphäre und gute Küche für jeden Geschmack. Ein schöner Ort für ein entspanntes Frühstück.

Viel zu voll, Preise sind abgehoben. Bar ist schön .

28.03.2026, Frühstück in der Sechsten , sauber, absolut freundliche Mitarbeiter, Frühstück kann selbst zusammen gestellt werden, recht hygienische Darbietungsform, kein Riesenbuffettisch sondern kleine Entnahmestationen, ... und wirklich super Ware, selbst die Brötchen ob einfach oder besonders, jedes davon ist in besonders guter Qualität. Beim Cafe (Filtercafe konnte ich nicht finden) .... also konkret beim Cafe-Creme - sollte noch mal geprüft werden ob nicht doch noch eine Idee besser geht!

Unsere Lieblingsetage im KaDeWe - wer hier nichts zu Essen und zu Trinken findet dem ist nicht mehr zu helfen! Herrlich große Auswahl an sehr sehr hochwertigem Essen und Trinken!

Am Fischkutter ist es immer wieder sehr schön mit tollem Essen

Vom 20.10.2025: Ich war am 15.10.2025 und am 16.10.2025 im KaDeWe-Die Sechste/ BRLO-Stand ein paar Bier trinken. Später habe ich an einem anderen Stand( World of Champagner!) Champagner getrunken. Außerdem habe ich noch einige Flaschen Wein bestellt ( wurden heute geliefert!). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, bin sehr zufrieden. Vom 30.10.2025: Ich habe ja geschrieben, das ich Wein bestellt habe( ist geliefert worden!). Da ist zum Beispiel ein Wein von der Mosel( die Flasche ist verkorkt, also kein Schraubverschluss!), hat mir geschmeckt; ich bin zufrieden!

Mal ganz nett, ,,die Sechste" gesehen zu haben , mehr aber auch nicht. Waren an einem Samstag dort, viel Menschentrubel und alles recht teuer.

War sehr lecker. Viel Auswahl. Sehr freundliches Personal 👍. Bisschen komisch, dass man sein Geschirr selbst wegräumen muss. Kann man unbedingt machen!

Hatte einen Seafood Grillteller. Es stieß mir schon sauer auf, das mein Tintenfisch, Garnelen und Rostbarschfilet auf der gleichen platte gebraten wurde wie das angebliche Rumpsteak meines Kollegen. Der Tintenfisch war zäh. Die Garnelen waren wohl älter. Das Baguette mit Kräuterbutter, war ein dunkles Brötchen. War das Geld nicht wert zumal ein Fisch noch gefehlt hatte. Hat keine zweite Chance verdient.

Extra 45 Minuten hierhin gefahren und dann heißt es “heute geschlossen wegen privater Veranstaltung”. Das stand weder bei Google Maps noch auf der Webseite. Finde ich sehr unprofessionell.

Zum Bummeln toll, zum einkaufen zu teuer

Von mittelmäßig bis gut ist alles vertreten, sehr viel Auswahl, gut solide, nicht top, aber wirklich bequem für einen längeren Aufenthalt bei dem man einkaufen und essen kann ohne es zwischendurch verlassen zu müssen

Alsoich bin kein Fan mehr da die Umgestaltung nach 08/15 wirkt, und das im Fischerkutter Royal Grill für 69 € enttäuschend ausfiel, positiv war der Zwischengang bei den Austern die herrlich erfrischend waren und die Dame beim Vieuve Cliquot aus Italien sehr freundlich bedient hat. Aber allen zusammen habe ich ca. 160€ dort ausgegeben, wäre besser investiert im Ritz oder Adlon. Das KADEWE das ich 30 Jahr zuvor kannte gibt es nicht mehr ich vermisse die Qualität von Paul Bocuse.

Wir aßen in einem Fischrestaurant; es war ziemlich teuer für ein einfaches Gericht, bestehend aus einem Fischfilet. Der Laden selbst war wunderschön, mit vielen Marken und Rabatten, aber wir konnten nichts Lohnenswertes finden.

Ein Muss für jeden der auf gute Küche steht!

Immer wieder leckere Sachen die es da zu essen gibt

Das Ambiente und das Essen stehen in keinem Verhältnis zum Preis; für den Preis, den man für eine einfache Mahlzeit bezahlt, kann ich es einfach nicht empfehlen.

Die 6.Etage machte den Namen KADEWE keine Ehre. Es wurden die falsche Steaks zubereitet und wurde nicht mal gefragt, wie wir die gebraten haben wollten.Es kamen zähes Fleisch und mittelmässige Pommes. Sehr teuer für die gelieferte Qualität da es sich um ein Self-Service Restaurant handelt.Nie wieder.

For years, I've felt like I'm in my second home on the sixth floor of KaDeWe. Every visit is greeted by Mr. Gerlach with a warmth and friendliness that is rarely experienced these days. This consistent hospitality, combined with service of the highest caliber, makes every visit a truly special experience. The selection of exquisite foods is unparalleled: succulent king crab, perfectly translucent scallops, robust Argentinian red prawns, and finely marbled Wagyu beef – always of the highest quality, always fresh, and prepared with the utmost care. Every plate is not only a culinary highlight but also a small work of art, with that perfect finishing touch never missing. Anyone with the highest culinary standards who appreciates a warm, personal atmosphere will find a place here where they feel perfectly at ease for years to come. The gourmet food hall at KaDeWe is and will remain a destination for discerning palates, setting the standard for culinary delights.

We wanted to go to "Schnieke Wurst," but were informed that it was closed due to an event, and this information wasn't delivered in a particularly friendly manner. It's no longer the legendary "6." I've known since childhood (over 50 years). A real shame; I won't be going back there... I can't comment on the service, food, or atmosphere, as I didn't get to eat or receive any service, and the overall atmosphere was unremarkable.

A shopping mall where we can easily browse and shop with luxury brands.

Here you'll find what you're looking for in a good old department store. One that deserves the name. Those who value luxury and status will feel very comfortable here, if they can and want to afford it. Very clean restrooms.

Here are only the people who have money to spare, have 30€ for a glass of champagne and can enjoy life

Whenever I'm in Berlin, I visit the fresh fish department at KaDeWe. The salmon sandwiches are always fresh and of the highest quality. The service in the fish department is competent and friendly. I recently got a specially made fresh salmon sandwich just before closing time.

On the upper floor everyone will find something to eat and drink.

The "sixth" (floor) is not just Berlin's culinary paradise; it's the equivalent of Harrods in London. Style and elegance, top-notch food in all its finest glory. Wander around, see, smell, touch, experience...and eat and drink in unparalleled class. The place to be.

What a beautiful mall! Every luxury item is available, and there's no shortage of dining options. Chic, large, and spacious, with something for everyone.

If you are looking for something special, you will find it at KaDeWe.

What can one say about this floor? It's simply legendary. A gigantic selection of high-quality delicacies, from swordfish to outrageously expensive caviar to the most delicious chocolates. A must-see!

KaDeWe, if you are in Berlin a visit is almost obligatory.

If you are ever in Berlin and on the Kudamm, you should take a look, because something like this is unique in Germany

A wonderful food court in the legendary KaDeWe, west of Berlin. You'll find everything you could want there. A special mention goes to the Mariage Frères tea counter.

An extraordinary shopping and dining experience! Very expensive, but equally impressive. Highly recommended if you don't want or need to save money. Quality and service at the highest level.

Super nice place. Just not for my budget.

It's truly unbelievable how slowly the employees at the bread and roll counter work. Customers are standing in lines, and without exception, everyone working here is dawdling or chatting with each other instead of serving customers quickly.

Unfortunately, we received very poor service today. Apparently, customers are treated differently. We had to wait a very long time, even though the lady had already noticed us and wanted to come over. Other people who arrived after us were served first. After I pointed this out, we were served reluctantly, and questions about the selection were met with only rude replies. All guests were allowed to pay after eating their food. We were asked to pay immediately. KaDeWe is located right on Ku'damm, and the employees should be accustomed to an international clientele. Even if you look "different," I expect respectful and customer-oriented treatment.

I love this place, there are many great choices of foods and the selection of all the available foods here really seems sophisticated and well thought out. I visited the currywurst place here where the waiter was very friendly and attentive, also want to mention Einstein Kaffee here where I had an amazing piece of cake and a refreshing iced chai latte. The cake was one of the Kadewe cakes that I wanted to try earlier at another place on the same floor but didn‘t, as the tables were full there at the time, so I was happy to see some of the same cakes offered at this Einstein Kaffee. I love how this place has a relaxing vibe and friendly service, and not too crowded.

It's changed massively compared to the past: while there was a superabundance of great food back then, today's offerings are more focused but no less varied. More space for small restaurants in all flavors. For fans of something fishy, Hélène is a good choice. The bouillabaise is comparable to Dallmayr, but not quite Harrods or even Marseille...but if you're in Berlin, then go there :-)

Berlin without Die Sechste wouldn’t be Berlin

The Molle beer bar on the sixth floor (food and drink) in KaDeWe is highly recommended! Freshly tapped Budweiser, Pilsner Urquell, and Staropramen are served here with passion by Rene and Mika. Soft drinks, red or white wine, and fine spirits are also available. There's always time for a friendly word with the guests; you'll feel right at home here as a guest!

Truly impressed by a couple of spots worth highlighting ) First, is “BRLO” with their juicy, tender, generously portioned and perfectly fried chicken. Exactly the kind of quality I expect when dining out at a place like KaDeWe. Secondly is “Papaya Thai” - tasty and hearty portions. Their dishes are vibrant, fresh and beautifully plated. Portions are more than enough to share, but honestly, you’ll want to keep it all to yourself. Prices are above average and a bit loud because of a lots of people, but honestly, it’s worth every cent with their good food !)

I've been a guest there for years and treat myself to a little treat every now and then. Unfortunately, the restaurant has been downsized and the offerings reduced.

Great selection of different regional and national delicacies. No matter whether you want a good currywurst, cake, eclaire, fish, lobster, oysters, champagne... you will not only find what you are looking for here, but you will also receive decent and courteous service... The service person at the sandwich stand (great pastrami sandwich) then asked me if I wanted anything else and she offered to go to the patisserie next door to get me a coffee, a pistachio eclaire and a souvenir to take home, so I could sit relaxed, drink my water and pay for everything together at the end. Mega! I'll definitely come back there... (The layout reminds me a bit of la Fayette in Paris)

The potato field in KaDeWe is a classic on the sixth floor that is always worth a visit. This time I tried something without potatoes – an avocado bread. A nice change that is really deliciously prepared here. I always enjoy coming back!

We ordered a veal schnitzel with fries which came out of the deep fryer and was tough and fatty. The fries were very light and over salted. After complaining, we were offered an espresso which we politely declined. Afterwards a piece of apple strudel with vanilla sauce which was not yet fully baked at the bottom. We don't want to talk about the outrageous prices there. A whopping €61 for 2 schnitzels and apple strudel. Every snack bar delivers better quality for half the price! The ambience has seen better days, as has the entire KaDeWe.

It's interesting how "constructively" criticism is handled here...instead of dealing with the content-related criticisms, the review is simply deleted! Then please do it again in a different form: Anyone who knows the 6th floor from before will not recognize it. The atmosphere is cold and impersonal, and the staff is mostly uninterested, if not even rude. The range of things to buy and take away is so reduced (apart from cheese, cakes and chocolate/pralines) that I honestly don't see any point in taking the longer route there anymore.....as a so-called "gourmet temple". You really can't name the department anymore. I have the impression that people tend to rest on the myth of the past. The new concept seems to be developing more in the direction of "a series of bars".

My absolute favorite floor. First have a delicious meal, then take a stroll. Had spontaneous, great encounters.

New Year's Eve pancakes to start 2025 I have been a loyal customer for years and have bought KaDeWe's famous pancakes for New Year's Eve every year. This year, however, it was a complete disappointment! For over 80 euros I bought pancakes that were squeezed into a cheap paper bag instead of carefully packed in the high-quality KaDeWe box as usual. The result? Crushed pancakes that were anything but presentable. The glaze was damaged and they simply looked loveless (see picture). This is not the standard you would expect from a house like KaDeWe. The experience of buying these pancakes every year as something special was completely ruined. It's a shame how little emphasis was placed on quality and presentation this year. KaDeWe, it really could be better!

Best oysters and service at the oyster bar

This review only applies to cakes and pies!!! If I could give zero stars, I would never give ONE!!! I don't want to be racist, but the employees really didn't care about us, even though we were in line and they saw that it was our turn, they just ignored us and went to the next customer who had just arrived and was not in line. Afterwards the whole stand was empty and still no one greeted us, even when we made eye contact, one lady immediately looked down and pretended to be busy with something else. We waited for more than 10 minutes and politely expressed our needs, but they still turned a deaf ear and even chatted. If you don't know basic etiquette, why are you working in the restaurant industry??? Nobody likes to spend money to be angry!!!

This review is exclusively for BBM. What we were served there today was a disgrace. Totally greasy plates, fries dripping with grease, the Krabby Patty (€18) was tiny and by far the worst burger I've ever been served. This makes every simple burger joint in Denmark much better. Although there were a lot of staff present, the service was inattentive - for example, we only received cutlery upon request. The employees also ate in front of the guests and what I found absolutely impossible, the edges of the bread and the burger bun (which was totally sticky) were torn off during preparation and thrown away. That's not possible these days.

Everything seems classy and elitist, but not really comfortable. But it's impressive what people are willing to pay

Super!! But unfortunately sometimes there are snooty guests/waiters and the opening times on the website are not correct. But otherwise everything is good.

The sandwiches at KaDeWe are an absolute taste experience! Each sandwich is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and offers a perfect combination of flavors and textures. The bread is always fresh and crunchy, while the fillings – from tender meats to delicious vegetarian options – are rich and flavorful. Particularly impressive are the fresh side dishes such as crunchy vegetables and carefully selected sauces that enhance the flavor of each sandwich. For anyone looking for a delicious, upscale snack, the sandwiches at KaDeWe are definitely worth recommending.

If it wasn't for this KaDeWe, where would the Turks coming from Turkey go?..!!

We ate rösti and sweet potatoes with goat cheese at the Kattoffelacker Winzer on Friday evening, drank a solid rosé and an excellent Riesling. The service was sensational, the cooks were very personable, funny and incredibly service-oriented! We then wanted to go to the cheese counter, but there were no free seats there, so the friendly lady from the potato field ordered us a selection of cheese, which was brought to the potato field counter. Previously, a lady from the cheese counter had asked us which types of cheese we preferred and made suggestions to go with our wine. One of the chefs later gave us another baguette and fig mustard from the cheese counter! Everything was very tasty, a pleasant atmosphere and we really enjoyed the excellent and extremely friendly service! We'll be happy to do it again!

Jahrzehnte was die 6. Etage das Highlight und der Magnet weit über Berlin hinaus. Kein Berlin Besuch ohne KaDeWe. Allein die Konditorei war ein Juwel, die uns be jedem Besuch geschätzt dreistellige Beträge gekostet haben, aber jedes Teil war es Wert. Damit das nicht falsch verstanden wird, die Qualität ist auch jetzt noch gut, aber das Perfekte fehlt. Der Service immer noch gut, Es ist eine gute Konditorei unter vielen aber und das finde ich auch woanders ohne 8 Euro pro Stück zu bezahlen. Auch viele andere Spezialitäten fielen zugunsten einer Messeumgebung für teurer Edelmarke. Vordergründiger Champagner ohne Seele. Wir sparen viele Kalorien, das ist gut, aber auch der weitere Umsatz wird dann fehlen. Ich hoffe, das das Konzept aufgeht, mit Traditionen zu brechen, denn das Haus ist es Wert, auch wenn es für uns kein Magnet mehr ist.

Just as I imagined it. The two upper floors are simply great. A large selection of different delicacies and good service. But the prices are crazy.

Nachdem ich mich bei Berlin-Besuchen gelegentlich gern im Lafayette mit verschiedenen Delikatessen eingedeckt hatte, das Lafayette aber leider geschlossen hat, sah ich mich im KaDeWe um - enttäuschend! Die gesamte Etage wird hauptsächlich von Edel-Imbissständen eingenommen, es gibt keine Bedienungstheke für Fleisch/Wurst/Schinken etc, Edelprodukte wie Pata negra gibt es nur abgepackt, die Käsetheke - die gibt es immerhin noch - entspricht der eines gut sortierten Fachgeschäfts, mit deutlich höheren Preise, wie überhaupt das Preisniveau sehr gehoben ist; wer Imbissatmosphäre zu horrenden Preisen schätzt. mag sich dort wohlfühlen, zum Einkaufen gibt es nichts, was nicht anderswo ebenso gut wenn nicht besser und deutlich günstiger erhältlich wäre.

It's dangerous to visit the top floor when you're hungry but it's great after wandering through the many levels of galleries in the shop. You can choose your favourite drink and food from different places and then sit and enjoy the vibe and the people Just like Harrods or Lafayette, KaDeWe enchants your eyes and empties your pockets 😎

Ich habe den Wein für mehr als 80 € gekauft und finde ihn danach im Internet für weniger als 50. Dass ein gewisser Preisunterschied zu erwarten ist, ist unbestritten, aber hier war der Preis unterschied einfach zu hoch, ich finde dies schlicht unfair, ein vertrauenswürdiger Verkauf ist anders

As always, the oysters tasted excellent, as did the lobster. There's nothing to say about service and ambience - just KaDeWe - like. You don't treat yourself to anything else.

It is worth seeing because it is the most famous department store in this part of Europe. A bit oppressive atmosphere, you pass from stand to stand, crowds of people and the biggest minus - dogs are not allowed on the restaurant floor, which is guarded by overzealous employees. In fact, I had the impression that I had a strong dislike for animals. Very good confectionery. I recommend seeing it, buying something sweet (long queue) and running away as quickly as possible.

After the renovation it looks like a big, loud market hall. Unfortunately, the personal aspect is missing and it seems confusing. There are no signs for orientation

Always an experience, and a positive one!

Amazing food, a bit expensive but that’s a must-try for anyone visiting Berlin! The fish dishes are incredible fresh and flavorful. It can get quite crowded, but if you are looking for a unique and delicious seafood experience, I highly recommend this place for a nice dinner!
