Average arabic cuisine restaurant

The food was super delicious – absolutely nothing to complain about, and everyone should eat there at least once. The service was also absolutely excellent. Unfortunately, we have to deduct points for the ambiance: the plates had dents (this was noticeable on all tables), the tablecloth wasn't completely clean, and the walls needed a coat of paint. The walls were splashed with paint and the rotten light switches weren't very attractive. The lighting was also far too bright, so it didn't really create any atmosphere. The ambiance could definitely be improved.

Very tasty food, super falafel. I've never had such deliciously spicy, light, and crispy falafel anywhere else. The service was also very friendly and attentive. We also had a lovely outdoor seating area in Sassendorf, on a quiet side street. Highly recommended.

Super delicious food!!! The falafel in particular was absolutely incredible - the best I’ve ever had. We ordered a range of different salads and warm meze. We waited a little while for the food to come out, but it was SO worth it. Everything tasted so fresh and the portion sizes were really generous! Really happy we stumbled across this place. I 100% recommend ☺️ 🤤

The food was very bad. The service was abysmal, and we had to wait far too long for our food. My recommendation is not to eat at this restaurant. I don't understand how it has 4.9 stars—it's practically impossible.

We arrived at the restaurant at 7:30. The main course didn't arrive until 9:30. The food was dry; 7.5 dl of water cost 6.50. I absolutely cannot understand how this restaurant has 4.9 stars! The service was unfriendly. No apologies for anything. I would definitely not recommend you go to this restaurant!!!!

We paid far too much for what we got, by average standards for Berlin. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant to any meze lover! The food was cold, tasteless, poorly served, and the wait was far too long. The service was extremely rude and inattentive. A sad last evening in Berlin. Regards

We visited the restaurant on a Friday evening. The interior and the terrace didn't impress us personally and seemed rather unexceptional. The appetizers were okay, but nothing outstanding. For our main course, we had a grilled platter: the chicken was too dry for us, and my wife didn't find the meat convincing overall. The side dishes were rather unimpressive, and we didn't like the numerous fried potato wedges. The dessert was okay. Overall, neither the atmosphere nor the food met our expectations, and our experience was significantly different from the reviews of other diners.

Had chicken and lamb skewer , really loved the taste. Had chicken liver with pomegranate juice. Quantity was appropriate. Would love to visit again.

Absolutely bland food, ordered combined grill - two of those - one with lamb and chicken and another with chicken only. No beef I said instead to give lamb/chicken. But those were missing. Too little lamb and chicken. Very bad. Not to go again! The review we read was so good and deceptive.

The food is sensational – everything is freshly prepared, very authentic, perfectly seasoned, and of excellent quality. What's particularly remarkable, however, is the lovely atmosphere and the extremely warm hospitality. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The food is really good. We had the giant falafel, that were super crispy on the outside and green goodness inside, the Tahina served alongside was creamy and complemented the dish. The salad was fresh, Hummus had great consistency + flavour, and the Sambusek crispy, with cheese and herbs inside. The Kibbe also were delightful. It is a great place for vegetarians or groups with vegetarians, as you can mix and match different dishes. The service was warm, fast and knowledgeable. There is quite a bit of space to sit outside as well as inside. Prices are around 8 Euros per dish (you'll need 2-3 dishes per person). Definitely a recommendation and we'll definitely come back.

One of the best Mediterranean cuisine food I have ever had! The service is amazing! Food very tasty which was yummy in my tummy. The quality is beyond expectation and the food is a real authentic Mediterranean experience. The variety and servings very generous with so much flavour my tastebuds had a party. And let’s not forget the presentation a master piece. Great for a corporate function, birthday celebration or any kind of special occasions. You must try this unique gem of a place. I was very impressed it was exactly what I expected for a Mediterranean experience.

The food was very tasty and plentiful. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. The atmosphere is pleasant and clean. The service is friendly.

We had the Karam Lebanon VIP platter twice. The meze were rather mediocre – some of the food was obviously pre-fried and then re-fried, which was unfortunately clearly noticeable. The accompanying salad was bland and not fresh. The fries with the meat platter also seemed to have been fried several times. The meat was okay, but the portion was too small for two people – as was the single garlic dip, which wasn't enough for two. The desserts were a disappointment: old and tasteless. The restaurant tries to appear upscale, but feels a bit dated. Overall, the quality, portions, and ambiance don't match the price – overpriced, in our opinion. The server was nice. Overall 5.5/10 😕

The takeaway quality was poor and far too expensive. The Oriental platter for two people cost €78.

Based on the good rating, we chose this restaurant for our 25th wedding anniversary. We couldn't sit at the reserved table because everything was too close together and we couldn't get between the chair and the table. The new table was okay, but less cozy and we were sitting in the smoke of the staff who were smoking at the table next to us. Drinks order went completely wrong and fell on the floor next to our table. New drinks and clearing the glass took quite a while. Staff was not really friendly and helpful. Ordering extra drinks was almost impossible and my main course had to be returned to the kitchen. According to the allergens on the menu, no dairy products were used, but it was gratinated with Gouda cheese. After 15 minutes I got the same plate back where the cheese had clearly been scraped off and the dish was now cold.

Just a great experience.. Bravo!

The restaurant is on a really nice corner. It is decorated in an oriental style and feels comfortable. But maybe. with the light you can do better. Super nice staff. Top! The food was good and there was more than enough quantity, but I still think the price could be cheaper.

Given the high prices, the food was good and fresh as expected, large falafel balls. as a restaurant, elegant and with etiquette, all tables set with plates and cutlery, but paper napkins. However, the starters at my favorite Greek restaurant are cheaper and even better. I'm conflicted as to whether I'd rather go to the Habibi snack bar on the square or go to a Lebanese restaurant in Neukölln and then get more for the same money. Definitely recommended because authentic and good and better than any restaurant with “Asian” advertising cuisine.

In the Arab world I am used to hospitality. Here you are greeted rather coolly and reservedly. Too bad. As a guest, I immediately had the unpleasant feeling of being a nuisance. The restaurant is functionally furnished. There are no cloth servers and the tablecloths weren't that nice either. The service is also rather cold and not exactly guest-oriented. There's definitely more to come. The food was freshly prepared, but without the plates being warmed up, so the meat was already quite cool when it was served. That's a shame too. Everything tasted good.

I was completely thrilled! The service was friendly, the interior is very tasteful, you can sit outside on the terrace on a very quiet street. And most importantly: the food was great!

Yes, I recommend this restaurant. This Lebanese cuisine is worth trying other dishes. In my opinion, the restaurant is not yet recognized by many people in Berlin. In this respect, perhaps no “secret tip” (not anymore anyway 😉). But I'm looking forward to the next opportunity to eat at Masaya.

Food was great, everything was great

Delicious food! The two of us had five mezzes, four of which were very good and one of which was ok. Good, very attentive service, light rather uncomfortable LED bright… WiFi cameras everywhere in the guest room… you have to like… From 9:30 p.m. cigarette smoke coming from the kitchen and a cell phone-hypnotized senior citizen in the bar area, which was obviously part of the interior... Price main course between 20-29€

Everything is ok, but how the store got 4.9 stars is a mystery to me. Service ok, food ok, but I've had much better (and worse). The location wasn't anything earth-shattering, maybe even a bit old. Solid corner Lebanese, but wouldn't go there again and especially not drive through the city to eat there.

Authentic Lebanese food! Super fresh, perfect for sharing. Large selection with something for everyone, including plenty of vegan options. Family-run business that makes you feel right at home. Super friendly and welcoming! We'd love to go back!

Four of us were there spontaneously. We received a very warm welcome. We received good advice on the food and wine. It was delicious and the food arrived quickly. The service was very attentive. We would come again.

I'm apparently the first and only person who didn't like the food at all. Aside from the fact that my dumplings were still frozen inside, the rest of my food wasn't particularly warm either. The rice was the only thing that was steaming, and it was truly authentic and delicious. I had a stuffed eggplant, which unfortunately had nothing to do with Lebanese cuisine. I've never eaten such awful Arabic food. The service was very nice, which is why I'm really sorry about this review. The frozen appetizer was replaced immediately, but unfortunately, that didn't help matters for me. The restrooms are clean, but bulky. For those prices, I would have expected more. But at least my boyfriend was satisfied ;)

We were there again with the company and everything is fantastic. The friendliness and courtesy of the staff, the quality and taste of the food. The only problem is that we can't eat it all. So delicious, so great! Gladly again!!

Room for improvement The food was an absolute 10/10 - excellent taste and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, our impression of the restaurant was greatly spoiled by the service. Our waiter (wearing glasses, apparently on his first day) ignored us (two women) for much of the evening and did not respond to our requests. While other guests - especially male or mixed couples - were served very attentively, we had the feeling that we were deliberately overlooked. However, we would like to highlight waiter Hassam, who took care of us in the end and saved the evening with his friendly manner. Without him, our experience would have been much more negative. Overall, a mixed conclusion: Excellent food, but the service urgently needs to be reconsidered.

I was there with my fiance and my family. We ate there and celebrated my fiance's birthday. We waited there for 1.5 hours for our food, it took a very long time and in the end it didn't taste good at all. Staff very rude and disorganized, because after we ordered and waited for 1 and a half hours, unlike other people who came after us, they got the food beforehand and finished eating and our food still wasn't there. I just wanted to get salt and only after 3 times it was brought to us. We were treated differently than other people in the restaurant. I didn't think it was great and bad about the restaurant. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant!!! Never go there again!

Good evening Masaya. In principle, I only write about locations or companies that inspire me, hence this restaurant today. Very tidy and elegant, the waiter was friendly, very personable and very helpful in choosing the different dishes. I was particularly impressed by the mezes. An incredible variety of small starters and our platter for 4 people. Very authentic and welcoming, with excellent service. Stay stable, healthy and continue at this high level. Really very authentic Lebanese restaurant near Nollendorfplatz. Service was friendly, but as a one man show it was a bit overwhelmed with few tables occupied. The ambience is... well... seems cheap and somehow not nice. But the food was really great and authentic.

Grilled food for 5 people is ridiculous and only for 2 people and is not charcoal and the waiter was walking next to us every minute and looked at us funny so the food was unfortunately not tasty and expensive and if you pay and what is left whether 5 or 10 € If the waiter takes it as a tip even though you don't say anything, the homeless don't do that 🤬مو نصيحة هالمطعم ابدا

We ended up here by chance the other day. And the salad I had was one of the best I've had in a long time. Everything seemed clean. The waiter was super professional and had a sense of humor. The ambience could be a little more special or modern, so a point is deducted.

The service was incredibly great and nice! I have celiac disease and therefore have to eat a strict gluten-free diet! They specially bought a new pan and the boss cooked himself! I had the salmon and it was absolutely delicious and the portion was huge! Absolute heartfelt recommendation

We were at Masaya on a Tuesday evening and still had reservations for lunch. The restaurant was also relatively full and we were happy to have made a reservation. The ambience is simple and tastefully decorated. The welcome from the owner (presumably) was warm and professional. For dinner there were various different main dishes and hummus with bread. Everything was very tasty and authentic. Great taste, dishes came to the table hot. The desserts were also very good. We ordered a Lebanese red wine with our meal, which went very well. I spoke for a few minutes with the (presumably) father of the owner, who pointed out that all the dishes were authentic and the desserts were prepared daily by his wife. We were thrilled and wanted to make a reservation for the next day if Berlin didn't have so much to offer. Overall a great experience. Professional, warm, authentic. We'd love to come back when we're nearby. Absolute recommendation!

If i could give more than 5 stars i would!!! We found this place whilst our stay in Berlin in December and wow what a beautiful hidden gem. The portion sizes were huge and Nichola was such a great waiter, he could not of done more. Would defo recommend to friends and family and will certainly be visitng next time we stay in Berlin ☺️

Tons of delicious options for vegans.

I've eaten Lebanese many times so I knew what to expect but I was not prepared for how high quality this restaurant is. The food is truly incredibly delicious and is served in significantly sized portions. The decor and setting is to a high standard. The staff were extremely welcoming and competent. I wouldn't hesitate to return. This is a must-try restaurant in Berlin.

Really great food at a fair price with very good service!

I went here with my colleagues for dinner. It was a sudden plan and we decided to go here looking at the good reviews. But we were not disappointed, they amazing food. It's best to go here in group as they have huge platters that can be shared. Starting from starters, main course and dessert, everything we loved. They had different varieties of spread which were all different in taste. The environment was great and well and the service was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to you.

The kitchen attaches great importance to its own production and fresh preparation, which you can taste. The staff was super friendly, and the chef himself came to check if everything was OK. Very nice restaurant in a car-free zone. The outdoor terrace is simply great when the weather is nice. The food met our expectations. The service responds to your wishes. Gladly again.

Excellent and authentic Lebanese food.

The reception is very wonderful. A respectable, polite Moroccan young man. I liked the food very much, the amount of food was plentiful and delicious. Lebanese appetizers that are beyond description for me. The most amazing seafood dish. Followed by the unparalleled Lebanese desserts dish. The owner of the restaurant, Mr. Haitham, is very kind and generous to us with his hospitality and kindness. I highly recommend it.

The service was a total catastrophy, we waited 1 hour to get our starters (cold ones) : Tabouleh salad, hummus and babaganoush, they tasted good but it doesnt take 60mns to prepare that, and 2 reminders about our order (6 people), in a quasi empty restaurant. Another 20mns latter we finally got the warm meat dishes... they made a gesture by putting another dish free of charge, but that dont compensate. The waitress was friendly, however to wait at a table 1 hour to get food in an almost empty restaurant is something we will remember for a long time
