The beer garden is beautifully situated and a great destination for a bike ride, for example. Unfortunately, we weren't impressed with the food at all. While the portions were large, the taste and quality weren't that great. Our visit was a one-time occurrence. It's a real shame.

We had reserved a table for 11 people and there were only 9 in the end, which wasn't a problem. We had reserved outside but unfortunately the weather wasn't so great and we were instead seated inside. We ate there for the first time because we had only heard good things about it. The food was simply amazing; we hadn't eaten anything this delicious in a long time. And when we wanted some Kaiserschmarren at 9:30 p.m. they didn't have any left, but hey, they made one especially for us, which was really nice and it was really one of the best Kaiserschmarren we've ever eaten. We will definitely come back.

The beer garden is a dream. The reservation in the shade for my wheelchair-bound wife and me worked out perfectly. The food was delicious, and the service was first-class.

The beer garden is stunningly beautiful, with a terrace, trees, and direct sunlight... everyone will find their favorite spot here. The free-range chickens seem to agree 😉 We had gravy, roasted potatoes, and sausage salad. All very tasty and plentiful. The bread appears to be homemade, and I personally quite enjoyed it. The service was fast and friendly, so I highly recommend it. And oh yes, the kitchen is open all day, so it's also perfect for those who get hungry at odd hours 👍

Finally, beer garden weather again 🤪 The beer garden was full; we had reservations (12 people). The service was still excellent. Everyone was very happy with their food. The beer garden is really cozy, and our group was able to easily have conversations.

It’s a beautiful garden restaurant very close to Mandichosee. Great selection of different delicious dishes. The outside seating is very suitable for a hot and sunny day as the trees provide shadow. We’d recommend making reservations as it can get quite full during dinner time.

The food quality and quantity was okay. The prices feel a bit too steep for me when considering the location and quality, but the service was very friendly and fast. It's not gonna become my favorite restaurant but it's an alright choice.

They probably didn't heat up the living room in time, but after barely an hour it became pleasant on Boxing Day. The good food and the attentive service fully compensated for it 😉

Big compliments to the kitchen, the food was very tasty and everyone was full. But it was extremely cold in the dining room because the heating started way too late. Instead of apologizing, the waiter mocked us throughout the entire stay. Several guests had to start the New Year with a cold, so their visit to Friedenau remains a bad memory.

A great place to take a break on a bike tour or just like that. Unfortunately, space in the countryside is almost exclusively available by reservation (unless it rains), otherwise you have to take whatever is free. Food is not cheap but good.

In the afternoon, 28/29 degrees, outside under the chestnut trees. Wonderfully relaxed break with food and drink in the cool shade. Very tasty mixed salad. Meat tastes different than expected (a matter of taste). Very nice atmosphere inside too. Attentive, friendly service. All very good.

Went here for dinner last night. Parking lot overcrowded. Beer garden also quite full. Not reserved, so some discussion... Order (drinks) was taken and delivered immediately. Orders for the food were also taken very quickly and “delivered” very quickly. It wasn't difficult either, as 2x currywurst, 1x Sulz and 1x Swiss sausage salad. Our service was really quick and friendly. The food itself wasn't bad, but (in my opinion) nothing special I didn't expect that either, since it was more of a snack bar... The prices: I think 15€ for a currywurst with fries is “a bit” over it. Swiss sausage salad for €13 is also not free. Roast aspic for €11 at the upper limit. All just my personal opinion. The atmosphere in the beer garden is really pleasant. All in all a nice evening. 3 stars because of the price-performance ratio. If the prices are high, then the dishes should be too. Again: Nobody had anything to complain about. But no one fell into ecstasy.

2Std. auf das Tagesgericht Schweinshaxe gewartet. Um 14:30h haben wir dann storniert und sind gegangen. Alle Tische im Außenbereich waren belegt. Allein bis die Getränke kamen dauerte es 45min. Nur ein Tisch mit ca. 12Gästen wurden in dieser Zeit mit Essen bewirtet. Nie wieder.

We stopped by this restaurant for a birthday. The atmosphere with a beautiful beer garden and a small slide for children is really great. It also looks comfortable for women. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. I had salmon with potato salad. The pale potato salad was unfortunately not good and, according to confirmation from the accompanying persons, was not homemade, the salad from around was out of the bag. Only the salmon was perfectly seared and tasted good. It wasn't priced appropriately. After feedback to the waiter, this was only received halfway well and there was no response. The gypsy schnitzel was also nothing special and the sauce also tasted like a ready-made sauce and not homemade. We are surprised by the good reviews because unfortunately most of the things are not homemade.

Except for the food that was offered, everything was good 👍 I had schnitzel with fries that were expensive and the schnitzel was unfortunately mass-produced and came from the deep fryer where is the master craftsman chef.

So I have to say, we haven't had such nice service in a long time. And the food was great too. We'd love to come back

Like my predecessor, I unfortunately also ordered a large mixed salad with chicken breast. I wanted to eat something fresh. I'm now declaring what I got under "gastronomic curiosity" consisting mainly of ready-made potato salad and very watery carrots (fresh ones look different) - so there's hardly anything fresh in them. And what do we mean by big here - big plate? Together with drink rounded up to 26€. What please? I hope the rest of the dishes - I know them well and they tasted excellent - aren't down to the same extent. I had to wait a really long time to pay. Total 3 stars for the good old days. But if it continues like this, it will soon be finito qui.

We recently had dinner there in the beer garden. Very good atmosphere outside in the countryside. The leek cream soup was excellent and left us wanting more, even if we had to wait a while. Made us want more. The pork crust was ok, the dumplings were a ready-made product, but the sauce was a watery ready-made mess. For a little more than 16 EUR but still ok. My companion had a salad with chicken breast. Here you have to say a sakat that partly consisted of ready-made potato salad, otherwise nothing special, just a simple mixed salad and some chicken breast on it with a ready-made sauce for over 20 EUR is a cheek and no inflation or 19% VAT can justify that. I really can't understand the good reviews here! In addition, we waited forever to pay and to be able to order something in between. The waitresses preferred to stand together and ignore the customers. I definitely won't spend any more money on something like that, never again! And I know that there are many good restaurants and things are light years better!

Very nice rustic restaurant. The food was good but the desserts were a bit expensive.

Unfortunately only two stars because the 1/4 duck was really not good. 4 people ordered the duck and everyone noticed that the sauce was out of the package and only (!) goes well with a sauerbraten, but absolutely not with the duck. The duck was also too dry and not crispy. The dumplings were out of a package and had no personal touch from the chef. The red cabbage also tasted as if it had come ready-made from a bucket and had not been seasoned. Unfortunately, the proud price of €23 cannot be explained. Unfortunately there was no response in the form of a small price reduction or dessert or schnapps on the house or anything similar. That is also a reason for the 2 stars. Even if the service is otherwise really nice and quick and the Kaiserschmarrn is really a poem. But if the main character doesn't fit...

Freundliche Mitarbeiter servieren sehr leckeres Essen in einer freundlichen Atmosphäre. Im Sommer mit Biergarten und Kinderspielplatz.

Leider muss ich für das Essen was wir bekommen haben nur 3 Sterne vergeben, wir hatten als Vorspeise eine Pfannenkuchensuppe und diese hat geschmeckt unter aller, keine selbst gemachten Suppe. Diese hat geschmeckt wie von einen Päckchen. Die Hauptspeise einmal Ente und einmal das Pfandel, zur Ente diese war nur noch Trocken und nicht mehr saftig so wie es eigentlich sein sollte, für dieses Essen würde ich nur 2 Sterne vergeben. Zum Friedenauer Pfandel selber das Fleisch war ok aber nur 3 kleine Stücke davon, die Spätzle nur noch ein Batz, für dieses Essen würde ich auch nur 2,5 Sterne vergeben. Da in der Küche muss etwas passieren, keine neuen Gerichte auf der Karte seit 1 Jahr immer das selbe. Hier muss sich der Gastronom was einfallen lassen. Schade.... Der Service ist super nett, ab 10:00 Uhr ist leider Schluss.
