Staff is noticeably unmotivated. Unfortunately there was no side salad, but we still had to pay the full price. The compromise would have been a scoop of ice cream. These are disproportionate to each other. If it had at least been communicated nicely or some other compromise had been made, we wouldn't have had a problem with it.
Food was good, but nothing special...but you can get the same elsewhere.
I was a guest here for 2 nights. Very pleasant atmosphere, great food/breakfast and most importantly... Very hospitable. If there were more stars I could give, I would have done so. Highly recommended !!
The location of the beer garden is ideal, directly on the federal hiking trail in the 7-Mühlental. Beautifully shaded by deciduous trees in summer and in spring or autumn you can also catch warming rays of sunshine. The service at the counter is friendly, quick and well organized, the rest of the service is done by the guest themselves. The dishes are prepared quickly and taste quite good, clearly convenience products are also used here, which is legitimate in this kind of gastronomy, but a lot It is also freshly prepared and the quality is right. So we think price/performance is OK! And we like to come here.
Went there again this afternoon for a Schäufele meal. Best Schäufele far and wide. Fast, friendly service. Price performance absolutely top notch. Always happy👍🏻
I can't say anything about service and quality because the store is closed, despite information to the contrary on Google Maps and on the website. I think maintaining these entries is the least you can ask of a restaurateur.
Zu wenig Personal. Wir haben über eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet. Zuerst hat die Bedienung vergessen unsere Bestellung ins System einzugeben, dann kam ein Bus mit vielen Touristen und noch der Koch kam zu spät.
Very friendly staff and a
nice atmosphere, we were curious and found it very nice in there. The food was also quite good and affordable in terms of price. So if it gets too crowded in the glass house, just walk a few meters further to the racetrack...
Where do I start, where do I end? The store is past its best and unfortunately for a long time. But he still makes a good living from this reputation and the local press still celebrates the “cult beer garden”. But the paint is just off. Even if you like the place to be a little rocky, it's hard. In summer the shop is closed when the weather is great and open when it rains. The layman is amazed and the expert wonders: why are there fewer and fewer guests? Constantly changing staff and in winter at the latest it gets completely dark. Then the homeless take over the place, spend the night there, noise and rubbish in and around the beer garden. In addition, there are the loud arguments that are really annoying for residents or simply the loud vomiting of individual protagonists in the morning. It's simply unbearable and partying in this dump is almost worse. It's time for something to change here so that the park and its surroundings don't continue to go into decline.
And I haven't even started about the really bad beer (if you're not so smart and order Bergmann)...
