Nice little beer garden with delicious food.

You have to try it...the Dinnete.Very delicious...a treat for the palate. I'll be back.

I urgently needed something to quench my thirst after a bike ride and to take a quick break. It was great weather and the beer garden was great for lingering, so the adjacent street didn't bother me. Bavarian 🍺 and tarte flambée were really tasty 😋 the self-service didn't bother me

Very attractive and beautifully designed beer garden. The vegan options could be promoted a little more. There is vegan sour cream for the end of the dinner - super tasty and highly recommended! 😊

I like coming here. The selection of drinks is good. BUT having to drink from warm glasses doesn't work for me at all.

Pleasant atmosphere for a kiosk, but a little aloof. Unfortunately there are hardly any regional wines, prices are rather excessive - just appropriate for the area.

Very cozy and with a good concept. But if you're still selling drinks at 9:05 p.m. and then immediately close your umbrellas when it rains, should you revise your concept again or adjust your opening hours?... Closing at 9 p.m. in the summer and making it uncomfortable for customers who still have full glasses is not fair. If longer opening times are not possible, then it would make sense to sell drinks neither just before nor just after 9 p.m. Or at least let the customers know! Good and fair service is particularly necessary in such situations. That's why the three stars are justified. Food good, service with room for improvement! ;-)

Has been a favorite spot on my way home from work so far. The operators sometimes charge 8.50 for an aperol with self-service and a place on the main street. 8.50 is the level of a 4 star hotel with service but not a self-service beer garden. A pity. I'm out of there.

Wanted to try the Waldauerle beer garden today. We were cycling and wanted to stop there for lunch. Since my battery was already half empty, I asked if I could plug in my bike battery. The service person asked her colleague and he answered the question in the negative. So this was done for us and this beer garden is simply not up to date for us and gets zero points from us.

Small "beer garden" with dinettes (topped dough cakes, very tasty). You can sit very nicely and there is ice cream or cake for dessert. Always worth a detour.

Nice and well located beer garden. Ordering was very quick and easy. The food didn't take long to arrive either. We all enjoyed the different tarte flambées. There was something for everyone in the selection.

Unfortunately, the team of four was completely overwhelmed by the masses of invading football spectators. Self-service at the fridge, I could have easily left without paying, but honesty shows that I came back to my friends €30 poorer but with a clear conscience. Tip to the team: put someone in front of the door so that one side is the entrance and one side is the exit and people don't rush in on the poor staff from all sides.

Driven past it hundreds of times. A stop with the bike today. Surprisingly very tasty dinnets with a really filling size. The Aperol Spritz was also very well mixed. You can repeat the visit.

Surprisingly delicious and cozy stop. There is Dinede, a kind of tarte flambée/pizza made from spelled flour, with different names and funny names. Delicious! You sit in the beer garden and when the weather is uncomfortable you find a cozy shelter in two giant barrels.

Mega delicious Dinnete :) we felt very comfortable in the barrel and the conditions Adrian was very friendly and attentive :)

We were there last night and had booked the big barrel and the slot from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (minimum consumption 120 EUR). The food was ok, but the last round started at 9:00 p.m. (!). When we wanted to order coffee and espresso, we were told that the coffee machine was already out and that was therefore no longer possible. In addition, at 9 p.m. the garbage had already been cleared away and all the tables had been completely cleared and (the ones outside) hosed down, so you no longer felt comfortable staying in the barrel for the half hour you had booked. When paying, the minimum consumption was still calculated. When we pointed out that we didn't think it was okay under these circumstances, the older lady just snapped at us and told us that we had to be finished by 10 p.m. At that point it was 9:15 p.m.! She also snapped at us that we should take our three (!) balloons out of the barrel. Hospitality doesn't seem to be a priority for this lady - it's a shame. Luckily, the younger waitress served us that evening and was very nice (hence the two stars for service).

Went there and ate for the first time today! The dinette was very tasty and freshly filled! I also really liked the ambience...the location is just great, even if the road runs there it's bearable! I highly recommend it! 👍

Uncomplicated and super tasty food. Whether it's a dinette or a salad, there's something for everyone when things have to go quickly. You can also spend some time outside or go for a day trip. Great location for casual moments.

Very, very good dinnets made from crispy spelled dough and generously topped with the best fresh ingredients... And we eat in wooden barrels... Top !!!!!

He sat down, thinking that there was also food. And there was some kind of strange (I mean sweet) pie or something like that. They also drank beer at home. And they don't serve at the table, but you take it yourself and pay.

We were at a conference in Birkach and from there we were able to walk to Waldauerle in just under an hour. We had booked the large barrel. Very nice. The service was nice and courteous. The wines are all well selected. The Dinnete selection we ordered was super tasty. Gladly again.

You can do it, but you don't have to. Price/performance is noticeable...welcome to Stuttgart. Unfortunately I have to add something... I'm not arrogant, but I'm from the grocery store and the bakery trade. Before I criticize any further, I have to admit that if my food had looked like the pictures in the reviews, you would have gotten 5 stars+ from me too. I think your shop and outdoor restaurant are really good, but unfortunately what I got that day wasn't worth €2. Maybe we just had a bad day.

We passed by here by chance and thought... a midday snack would be just the thing. The weather was great for sitting outside and although it was quite busy, there wasn't a big queue at the checkout. Local: Both the interior and exterior have been significantly upgraded. The barrels outside are an eye-catcher and certainly cozy in bad weather. The Staff: There was a lot going on and they were trying to get by with a small number of staff. The well-known self-service version with a “beeper” for pickup helps. You can clearly tell that the cashier was stressed... but still very friendly and, above all, quick. Food: The menu is very manageable, Dinnete in many variations. We also had different, very tasty ones. It was a bit of a shame that for our lactose intolerant people, who had forgotten their pills, only the very reduced, undocumented versions of “solitude” and “togetherness” remained. Perhaps a variant with tomatoes instead of sour cream would be worth considering. Prices: Here I can say that the price-performance ratio is right. It's definitely not cheap, but ok for what's on offer. In summary, we give it 5 stars. We will definitely stop here again for a snack.

Příjemné místo, dobrý punč, super myšlenka se sudem s ohněm na zahřátí, milá obsluha.

Es hatte -5° die Zehen und Finger verloren langsam aber sicher wie meine Nase ihr Gespür. Kurz vor der vollkommenen Unterkühlung kam dieser ehemalige Kiosk ins Blickfeld. Ausgestattet mit einer Feuerschale war dies ein Überlebenswichtiger Ort für meinesgleichen und mich.

Ist eine ausgewöhnliche Lokalität.

Das waldauerle ist für mich ein Ort zum wohlfühlen im Sommer wie im Winter, komme immer wieder gerne hin. Die Dinneten sind, trotzdem sie meinen Favoriten Camembert mit Preiselbeeren von der Karte genommen haben 😢 , der Hammer 😋!! Ein super Auswahl von Bieren und Weinen sowie sehr freundliches Personal rundet das Angebot ab.

Die Dinnede sind einfach nur lecker! Tolle Weinauswahl, leckere Kuchen und trotz der Lage direkt an der Straße wurde was richtig tolles daraus gemacht. Absolut empfehlenswert :-)

Leckere Dinetten in allen möglichen Varianten. Portionsgrösse gerade noch so okay, nichts für den großen Hunger, aber okay. Sieht alles sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt aus. Direkt an einer Hauptstraße. Alle sehr freundlich, höflich und gut organisiert.

Preis/ Leistung für das Essen gerade noch akzeptabel. Qualität der Speisen gut . Von Service bei Selbstbedienung kann man nicht sprechen. Die Mitarbeiter sind bemüht. Toiletten sauber und gepflegt. Von Ambiente an der stark befahren Straße kann man nicht wirklich sprechen.

Toller Service, leckeres Essen und gemütliche Plätze in der des Fernsehturms. Die Kehrseite dieses klasse Angebots ist, dass das Waldauerle sehr beliebt und entsprechend gut besucht ist. Wartezeiten bei der Bestellung sollte man einplanen bzw. nicht überrascht sein, wenn man ein paar Minuten warten muss.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Personal ist sehr freundlich. Innenraum schön gestaltet. Auch die Sitzplätze in den Weinfässern sind originell. Leider ist die Straße etwas laut.

Sehr netter Kiosk mit leckerer umfassender Getränkeauswahl, Dinnete und Eisbecher aus der Truhe zum Selber Nehmen. Vegane Optionen sind beim Eissorbet und der Dinnete "Einsamkeit" gegeben, könnten aber deutlich mehr sein. Mitarbeitende immer sehr, sehr nett und kulant im Bezug auf Kinder(Gruppen) usw.

Schmeckt sehr gut! Die Dinnete sind besonders gut als kleines Mittagessen oder Zwischensnack.

Heida Stuttgart ist's da schee, da gibt's ein Emotionsbüffee! Von Euphorie bis Heiterkeit, steht hier die Dinnete bereit... Im Fässle können Gruppen sitzen, bei Speis und Trank und schönen Witzen. Die Bedienung und s'Ambiente sind echt gemütlich ohne Ende! Einmal im Leben musst du hin, dann verstehst du des Gedichtes Sinn!

Schöner Ausklang zum Abend. Weinschorle und Dinnete mit guten Gesprächen. Auch prima für einen Absacker nach dem Sport 🥇. Die Sitzfässer optimal für Regenphasen. Preis-/Leistung passt 👍 angepasst an die aktuellen Zeiten, aber definitiv noch ok. Hier stört auch die Selbstbedienung nicht.

Meine Lieblingsdinette ist mit Ziegenkäse, Walnüssen und Honig.

Das "Waldauerle" ist eigentlich kein Restaurant, sondern ein Gartenlokal mit Selbstbedienung. Wobei "Garten" nicht der treffende Ausdruck ist, liegt es doch an einer stark befahrenen Straße am Eck des großen Sportgeländes "Waldau" in Stuttgart-Degerloch Das Lokal ist ein Freisitz mit urbanem Flair, sehr gut geeignet für ein Beisammensitzen nach der Arbeit, in der Mittagspause oder einfach spontan für einen ungezwungenen und sehr niederschwelligen Treff. Wer Glück hat, bekommt einen Platz in der Abendsonne und hat vielleicht sogar Sicht auf den Fernsehturm. Die Speisekarte enthält hauptsächlich Dinnete, so etwas wie eine schwäbische Pinsa. Der Teig ist im "Waldauerle" aus Dinkelmehl. Wir haben drei verschiedene dieser Fladen probiert; alle schmeckten ausgezeichnet. Im Kühlschrank stehen diverse Biersorten (Flaschenbier). Zudem wird Wein ausgeschenkt. Es gibt auch Eis und Kuchen und selbstverständlich alkoholfreie Erfrischungsgetränke. Die junge Frauen, die das "Waldauerle" an diesem Tag bewirtschafteten, waren auf sehr herzliche, also nicht angelernte Art freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Great food ("Dinnete", a kind of salty / spicy pancake / pizza / ...), mostly made from local sustainable / bio ingredients. Choice of local / bio beverages. Reasonable prices, extremely friendly and helpful staff. The premises are clean and cozy and let you forget the traffic on the adjacent street. Everything is also available 'to go'.
