The food wasn't anything special. The "homemade" Maultaschen (Swabian ravioli) weren't homemade.

The prices are truly outrageous for no service and just fries with sausage.

A highly recommended place for summer and sunny days. It has an outdoor area with views of the lake and Stuttgart's main park. The food is decent.

✅️ The location is very nice, right next to the "Mineralbäder" stop, very easy to reach from the city center. ✅️ In sunny weather, it's very popular with young people and families who relax inside or on the lawn outside. ✅️ Typical snacks like fries with sausage or tarte flambée are available, as well as plenty of cold alcoholic drinks and, of course, dessert. ❌️ Unfortunately, the wait time is much longer in good weather, and the prices are a bit too high for a location that has a monopoly position in the region.

Excellent place. It's sometimes crowded, but for good reason - the food and drinks are good, and the location is perfect.

It will always be my favorite pub and bar in Stuttgart. They always have a wide variety of seasonal dishes and offer a wide range of vegetarian options. My wife is gluten intolerant, and she always finds something to eat here. The service is always friendly and helpful. You can charge your electric bike here for free. The vibe and the crowd are quite alternative, underground, and far removed from the mainstream, as is usually the case in Stuttgart. A meeting place for social, left-wing, alternative ❤️ people.

Still an insider tip. The location even makes up for the rather run-down decor. There's a great selection of food and drinks, ping-pong tables, dog bowls, etc.

I was there once, everything was fine. But the atmosphere was very bad. Why are there always people shouting and it's also overcrowded with too many people. And also beggars, etc. That, of course, spoils the whole thing. Hence 2 stars. Otherwise, OK 👍

Nice, fast, and well-located. The atmosphere is student-friendly, located right in the park, and quite busy. The food is excellent; the selection is limited, but the food is tasty, and the quality and price are good.

We always love going to Flora and Fauna. But for some time now the atmosphere has been completely terrible. There are families outside who once named schnitzel and steak sauces after them, and they are loud. The men sit and gamble the whole time, smoke, flick their cigarettes around, and shout at each other, and the women and children sit a little way off next to the platform and are also incredibly loud, running between the customers and getting rude if you say something. Sorry, when I go to a beer garden I want to relax and unfortunately that is no longer possible there. You can't ignore them because there are so many of them. If only that were the case, but they seem to be there every day; you can even see them from the subway. Friends, colleagues and acquaintances have also confirmed that they don't like it there anymore and have preferred to go to other beer gardens.

For a quick break and a quick bite to eat, it's okay. We were in the self-service area, so we can't comment on the service. Friendly staff at the checkout.

Close to the museum and an ideal spot for lunch. There was a nice atmosphere, and the food was delicious and prepared quickly. It seemed like a real local haunt.

It's beautiful cafe/restaurant in the park, so there is no traffic around a you can feel like outside of the city. Some waitresses skating on rollerskates. They have really good beer.

I was at Flora & Fauna with two friends on June 3rd around 6:00 PM. I started with a tarte flambée and a small non-alcoholic beer, then a large one (see screenshot). The large non-alcoholic beer was charged twice. I was the only one who ordered a non-alcoholic beer, and everyone paid for their own order. Unfortunately, they don't give you a receipt. I didn't notice it until I got home. I would always be careful when they take money. I hope it was an accident :(.

Always great. Delicious food and drinks at fair prices. Great location. They even offer table tennis. Always friendly staff. What more could you need?! We always enjoy coming here.

The food is usually very, very delicious. The iced coffee hasn't been so delicious the last few times; it's just lumpy, frozen ice. It used to be good, though. Otherwise, people smoke everywhere outside, so it's only a limited place for non-smokers to eat. You can also go inside to eat, though; it's really worth it. A quick tip, though: Given the size of the outdoor area, there could be a non-smoking area, or at least the smoking staff could smoke where no one else is eating.

A well-located and lively place, it's a great place to stop for a few cold drinks or a snack. Usually very busy in the summer. A straightforward self-service shop with pagers for food pickup. A small but good selection of dishes, plus a daily specials menu with other dishes and cakes.

I often cycle past Flora and Fauna and always enjoy stopping there. A very relaxed, diverse, and open place. Today was especially good with the sound system and the music being played 👌

A cool location in the middle of nature! The park is already a highlight – and the beer garden makes it even better. Especially convenient: The Mineralbäder stop is right nearby, so you can arrive and depart by train in a relaxed manner. A real highlight for me was the pasta Bolognese – surprisingly good! It tastes like homemade and, for me, was the best Bolognese I've had in all of Stuttgart so far. I honestly wasn't expecting this, which is why I'm all the more thrilled. Highly recommended!

Everything is great, the overall package is just right. There's nothing to complain about, and you can sit right next to the subway station with a beautiful view of the countryside and Rosenstein Castle.

Great location, food was okay. I asked if they had lactose free milk. This was answered in the affirmative. When I happily accepted my cappuccino, I noticed that it had been made with oat milk. I don't drink that kind of crap. Unfortunately I had to make do with a mediocre cappuccino with cow's milk, which was only handed to me grumpily. Too bad!

As soon as the temperature is over 10 degrees and the sun is shining, all hell breaks loose here You shouldn't underestimate how many tarte flambées are eaten here in the south.

Rude staff, we ordered a beer at 10.20pm, the closing time was scheduled for 11pm, after 10 minutes from the order (among other things to be paid immediately) which took place at the counter because they don't provide table service, the staff came to us several times telling us to hurry up and drink the beer quickly, we felt mistreated, also because there was still more than half an hour left until closing. It is better not to seat customers if they are then treated like this. The place is called flora and fauna, but perhaps they forgot that the customers are human beings.

It would have been the perfect experience if the waitress was friendly.

It's always cozy here and you immediately feel at home. Whether in the beer garden in summer or indoors in winter. Friendly staff and a varied, very tasty cuisine. Completely mixed audience and always a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere.

It has a very great location and invites you to chill and linger But the service leaves something to be desired in that you rely on the guests to clean the tables. The food isn't that great either, the cakes are good, the seating is very uncomfortable. Too bad. Update. The people behind the counter are becoming more and more unfriendly because they are young boys and the women are much nicer.

A very simple place with a lot of charm, right next to a train stop, and right in the park, there is a large selection of drinks such as beer, but also food, I didn't eat anything there, but at least it looked tasty.

Saturday 3.30 p.m., 80 decibels inside because of music that is more to the taste of the young staff than to the well-being of the guests. After another wedding party arrived, there were 85 to almost 90 decibels, and many other guests fled. Simply keep the music a little quieter and, if necessary, choose a relaxed song, so no one has to shout at each other to be understood. The food was good, but unfortunately you couldn't enjoy it. It's a shame, I hope it's an isolated case. We'll be back, but outside again.

While having a coffee I was able to look around the interior and watch what was happening: all guests were welcomed and treated in the correct way, the food served looked good and apparently tasted good, the service was friendly and quick. The coffee was perfectly fine and the cake was fresh ! So, now Corona is over and I'm here again: there are no more waitresses, everything has been converted to self-service, customers are arguing in front of the checkout counter/counter and crowding around the surrounding tables that are occupied by guests, that's not how it should be move on!

Great bar and a nice beer garden in summer. The bar quiz in the winter season is the highlight! I can only recommend it :)

It couldn't be better. Great food, reasonable prices, quick and friendly. My recommendation is beef goulash, but also the spaghetti Bolognese or the lentils are great. Iced coffee too. A non-smoking area outside would be great. Just have to be away from smokers. Or a special place for smokers so that the delicious food can also be enjoyed outside. Otherwise there's nothing to complain about.

The Flora and Fauna is simply perfectly located in a good location for the subway and the Rosenstein Park and Castle Park. The small lake in front of it is a wonderful place to relax. I personally like to eat there with my clients (people with disabilities). The place is barrier-free, the food is reasonably priced and the waitresses are always friendly. When you order, you will receive a pager to pick up. When it comes to food, I only deduct one point because the menu is quite small but manageable. There are seasonal dishes. You can also play table tennis there.

It was very tasty. The vegetarian tarte flambée was to die for. I would have liked to have put another one in straight away. We also really appreciated the relaxed and relaxed atmosphere. Lots of seating options. Also deck chairs distributed. Great ambience. We were there at lunchtime but it is definitely very nice in the evening too. The connection to the castle garden is also a big plus. Another great point is that the tram stops less than 20 meters away. Come again :)

Sit outside and eat properly - and of course drink good Stuttgart beer - in the Lower Palace Garden. Wonderful beer garden atmosphere, with the emphasis on “garden”. Self-service outside, the ordering line can stretch right to the door. The preparation goes quickly. E-charging station (power plug) is also available.

Unique atmosphere. Always. Food sensationally good. Real recommendation: Warner, fresh potato salad. Exceptionally delicious. Keep it up.
