Very friendly staff, but some difficulties in communication. But we got everything we ordered. The quality of the food was good and the price was right.

I ordered several grilled platters yesterday, the meat was already sour, meaning it was spoiled. The lamb was just bones with fat on them, and I've had it like this for at least the last five times. I've had food poisoning since yesterday, just like my wife and her friend. Don't go there, people. It's outrageous to even sell something like that. Line your pockets with spoiled food. No wonder no one eats there anymore. The store is empty every time I drive past! Give this place a wide berth. That's how you lose decades of loyal customers.

Very tasty dishes, but not exactly cheap.

Mevlana Ocakbaşı is one of the places that takes the art of kebab to the highest level! It offers a complete feast with its carefully prepared kebabs and rich appetizers, where you can feel the real Ocakbaşı flavor in every bite. Expertly cooking the meat, balance of spices and elegance of the presentation make this place special. I definitely recommend it to those who want to have a delicious evening!

I wanted to eat there with my children, we were told that you can only order the Ramazan menu, really now😡🤬🤬🤬

Disastrous organization and disrespectful service – never again! We had reserved a table for Ramadan and told the restaurant in advance that we would be a little late - this was confirmed. But when we arrived, our table was already given to other guests. We were offered a seat outside on the terrace. After half an hour (!) we were told that the terrace still had to be prepared. While the breaking of the fast had already begun, we were not even offered water, even though it was clear that we were fasting. When we wanted to speak to the managing director, we were told that he wasn't there - no one felt responsible and communication was just chaotic. After a long wait and without any solution, we finally left in frustration. This is not how you treat guests - especially not during Lent. Absolutely disappointing and definitely NOT recommended!!!!!!!!!!

The food was good as always, even though it's Ramadan and everyone is waiting for their food at the same time, the quality hasn't decreased. The incredible thing here was that everyone got their food at the same time and the eaten plates were quickly cleared away. We were also asked if we had any other wishes and were given tea.

Grill snack with seating, rather simple atmosphere. Service was quick, good and friendly. So far I haven't found the "right" dish here and therefore can't understand the good reviews. In any case, it is not the grill plate in its current presentation. He looked much more sober than the photos in older reviews. It consisted of several types of meat, 2 wafer-thin pieces of unseasoned flatbread, slightly dry fries, a grilled pepper that was very hot for Central European standards and a side salad plate that could also have served as rabbit food. A sauce for the meat and the dry fries was only available upon request - even at no extra charge. Why isn't the sauce served from the start? Unfortunately, onions and grilled vegetables, as shown in the older photos, were no longer included. Maybe you have a better choice with the other dishes. But I'll have to test that first. Until then it will unfortunately remain at a sobering 3 stars.

Honestly, this is the best kebab I've eaten so far! You can tell how much love the owners put into preparing the kebabs (and also their grilled dishes!). The meat is of high quality and you can eat here with a clear conscience if you pay attention to Halal. Everything tastes great! We don't even need to talk about the breakfast buffet - it's just great! A big thank you goes out to the brothers Isa and Sinan – you are the best! 👍

I'm actually a fan of the kebab but this time there was very little sauce put on my beef kebab. After a few bites there was no sauce left and the kebab tasted too dry for me

I was there today with my wife and we had the breakfast buffet. I really can't say anything negative. The food and the ambience were very good. The price-performance ratio was also fair. The waitress was very nice and offered us a seat straight away. What I also thought was great was that café and tea were included. We'd love to come back.

We actually only ever get kebab pockets here, so I can't say anything about other dishes or local consumption. The ambience doesn't blow me away - it's just a snack bar 😅 We really like it and everyone behind the counter is really nice. Thanks!
