Leider vergebe ich garkein stern ich habe jetzt 2 mal döner von ihm bekommen wo der döner so dünn ist das mann denkt mann hätte nur Brot gekauft kaum Salat drauf kaum fleisch nix und dafür bezahlt mann 8 euro traurig heut zu tage kann mann nirgendwo mehr essen gehen das fleisch ist auch nicht wirklich gut

Super leckeres Essen! Bei allen Spießen schmeckt man den Grillgeschmaxk hervorragend raus. Der Döner ist auch super lecker. Schön knuspriges Brot, leckeres Fleisch! Ich werde hier immer wieder hinkommen!

Sehr unfreundlich Mitarbeiter 👎 Habe zwei Große Döner mit Fleisch für 22€ gekauft, habe mit ganz ganz weniger Fleisch bekommen. 95% Salat und vielleicht 5% Fleisch 😡👎

Er hat meine Kinder schikaniert und ihnen erzählt, es gäbe Kameras im Laden, als ob sie ihn bestehlen wollten. Warum nur dieses abscheuliche Verhalten gegenüber Kindern? Ich werde meine Kinder nie wieder zu ihm schicken und rate auch niemandem, seine Kinder zu ihm zu schicken.

Die rote Soße hat sehr komisch gerochen und das ist noch harmlos formuliert. Das Fleisch war auch nicht gut. Von mir gibt es null Punkte.

Das Rinderfilet in Butter gebraten ist hervorragend. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen. Auch einige andere Gerichte habe ich schon dort gegessen und bin immer sehr zufrieden gewesen.

Die Linsensuppe ist super lecker

Dies ist einer der wenigen Orte, die wir eigens von Duisburg aus aufgesucht haben. Geschmack und Qualität sind unbestreitbar.

Wir waren am 05.06. vor Ort und insgesamt zufrieden. Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend. Sowohl der Adana Teller mit Reis als auch die Vorspeise mit Brot und Dips, Salat und die türkische Pizza haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Alles war frisch, geschmacklich überzeugend, ganz „bauernhaft“ angerichtet. Am Essen selbst gibt es für uns nichts auszusetzen, außer das bei den Lammspießen teilweise mit dem Salz übertrieben wurde. Einen kleinen Kritikpunkt gibt es allerdings beim Service. Nachdem wir mit dem Essen fertig waren, wurden die Teller gar nicht abgeräumt. Wir mussten irgendwann unsere Teller sortieren, um am Tisch Platz zu schaffen. Außerdem wurde nicht nachgefragt, ob wir noch ein Dessert, einen Tee oder weitere Getränke möchten. Gerade bei der Qualität des Essens wäre hier etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit schön gewesen. Dadurch blieb leider zusätzliches Potenzial für einen rundum gelungenen Besuch ungenutzt. Trotzdem überwiegt der positive Eindruck klar. Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker und wir kommen gerne wieder. Mit etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit im Service wäre der Besuch für uns perfekt gewesen. 😊🍽️

Wollte zum zweiten Mal ne Chance geben und nach paar Monaten wieder mal Ausprobieren. Jedoch muss ich feststellen, dass der Döner nicht gut genug gebraten wird. Es war teilweise roh echt schade. Ein Döner schmeckt anders.

Das Fleisch ist wirklich gut und hebt sich vom Standard ab. Die Bedienung ist zudem sehr nett. Es ist zwar etwas teurer als woanders, aber dafür stimmt die Qualität auch einfach. Wer guten Döner sucht, ist hier richtig!

3 von 5 Personen aus unserer Gruppe hatten 1-2 Stunden nach dem Essen bereits Magen beschwerden. Bei 2 der 3 hat sich eine Lebensmittelvergiftung ergeben. Jeder hatte unterschiedliche Gerichte (Döner, Dönerteller, Iskender...) und vorher nichts anderes woanders gemeinsam gegessen. Kann also nur am Fleisch gelegen haben.

Traditionsdöner in GE-Horst. Hat in den letzten Jahren einen gewissen Hype durch Socialmedia und Youtubern erfahren. Leider bei einem kürzlichen Besuch keine gute Erfahrung gehabt. Döner preislich im oberen GE-Niveau, dafür beinahe unverschämt unterfüllte Dönertasche erhalten mit vielen komplett "leeren" Bissen. In meinen Augen eine absolut destruktive Geschäftsstrategie, leider in Dönerbuden mittlerweile häufiger anzutreffen und so bei anderen Imbisstypen kaum zu finden. Bitte volle Taschen für volle Euros!

Lange Wartezeit. Portionen sehr klein . Halbe Dönertaschen für teuer Geld. Lautstärke wie auf einen Bahnhof. Personal recht freundlich.

Ein sehr schlichter Laden ohne Schnickschnack. Einfach ein kleiner, unkomplizierter Imbiss, der sich auf gutes Essen konzentriert. Der Döner ist wirklich lecker, frisch und gut zubereitet.

Wenn man eigentlich Eis essen gehen wollte aber dann an dem Geruch nicht vorbei konnte. Fakt, einer der besten Dönerläden der näheren Umgebung (Gelsenkirchen, Herne, Bochum, Bottrop, Gladbeck) Der Preis ist höher, aber 100%ig gerechtfertigt. Dafür lohnt sich der Anfahrtsweg von Herne aus.

Ich habe den Laden sehr spontan besucht und bin seitdem gefühlt einmal die Woche da. Top Mitarbeiter, die den Job wirklich mit voller Motivation ausüben. Super frische Gerichte. Sehr, sehr gerne bin ich dort. Alles frisch, Preis-Leistungs-Top. Wirklich top.

Hallo, Gestern haben mein Bruder und ich hier zwei Portionen Döner Kebab bestellt. Es war sehr wenig Döner drin. Auch die Kartoffeln waren sehr spärlich. Die Gurke bestand zu 70 % aus Weißkohl. Es gab nur ein kleines Stück Brot. Wir sind nicht satt geworden. Man sollte sich schämen. Ich überlasse es Gott.

Komme seit 18 Jahren immer wieder sehr gerne hier her. Und niergends auf der Welt war der Döner so lecker wie hier bei Turan abi. Weder in Berlin, noch in Hamburg oder sonst wo. Ich habe immer gesagt dass der Abant Döner einfach der beste ist.

Hört auf zu geiern immer wenn ich bestelle muss ich ihm immer wieder sagen das er mehr Fleisch tun soll du zahlst 8 euro für einen Hauch von Fleisch bei Salat spart er nicht demnächst bestelle ich Salat Brot

The food and service were okay. The music was too loud and too niche for my taste.

Absolutely not good! Almost every bite contained gristle/fat in the meat. It tastes awful! I should mention we were here after 10 pm, but even so, the quality should be better.

I found the food at Abant Döner really delicious – fresh ingredients, good portions, and great taste. The service was also excellent: friendly, fast, and attentive. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

Delicious doner kebab, unfortunately not much meat. The bread isn't homemade, but still okay – nice and thin, and toasted crisply. I wanted it spicy, but got a strange sweet and sour Asian sauce that didn't go with the doner at all. The cleanliness of the tables outside left much to be desired. Overall, the best doner kebab in Gelsenkirchen so far, with room for improvement.

This was a great surprise, we were walking by by chance and I had already had one kebab, but I still couldn't resist and stopped here too and their döner was absolutely fantastic, too bad I didn't order two! I really recommend it to all kebab lovers, this is an unexpected discovery in the Rhineland this year!

Meat is cold, just sitting around, as always. You have to be lucky to get fresh meat. They've become stingy and more expensive, too. The meat was probably taken out of a bucket yesterday.

The doner kebab man took old meat from a pot, presumably from the day before, and mixed in just a few fresh pieces from the skewer – even though the waiter told him I wanted fresh meat from the skewer. There were even small lumps in the doner kebab, the taste was disgusting, and the doner kebab man didn't care at all. Never again!

This place, in my opinion, does not deserve the praises expressed in the comments. The quality of the service can change throughout the day and this is completely up to chance. I ordered an Adana wrap here the other day. However, the cheap Mexican style wrap bread used in the wrap was quite rubbery and the wrap had no flavor at all. Today, I ordered an Iskender style Adana. They cut the half Adana skewer in half lengthwise so that it would be more visible on the plate and they did not forget to put plenty of yogurt on the side, I guess because it was cheap for them. I also think it would be very useful in terms of recognition if the service staff were made to wear work clothes or at least given t-shirts with the name of the business.

Gelsenkirchen has some truly delicious kebabs, and Abant is one of them. I ordered a kebab plate with rice. I really enjoyed the rice, it was nice and buttery. The meat is simply top-notch. The staff are very friendly, and the interior is inviting.

Doner kebab plate for €14, unbelievably barely any meat in it, and very little salad. Never again. I'd rather go somewhere else where you can still get a full meal for your money! If you want to get full, this isn't the first choice.

I've been going to Abant for 20 years and will definitely be for another 20! From childhood to grandparenthood, I've been loyal to this place. One of the best kebabs and grilled specialties I've ever eaten.

I tried the doner kebab here because it's homemade. Always an advantage over those selling their doner kebabs from large-scale production. The doner kebab itself is delicious and I would recommend it. While it doesn't have a wow factor, at least you're brave enough to make the doner kebab yourself. For the standard portion shown in the picture, however, I find the meat content a bit small; they could have added a bit more. My companion also ordered a doner kebab plate, and it was clear that there was unfortunately far too little meat. So, there's definitely room for improvement in the portion size. As for the meat itself, on that day the meat was a bit dry and lacked a bit of fat. Maybe it's better on other days. The restaurant is family-friendly and has seating outside and inside the shop. The shop is also air-conditioned. I can definitely recommend it.

Doner meat is delicious, but the "large" doner plate for €13 simply has less meat than a regular doner for €7. Sorry, that's not possible.

We had two Karışık ızgara (spicy chicken breast). It was simply fantastic. The side dishes were also excellent, and the salad was lovingly prepared with a variety of ingredients...

Hello, we were there with three colleagues on May 23rd around 9 p.m. It was moderately busy. It took 15 minutes to order. There was one server for 25 customers. We ordered one iskender and two doner kebab plates, two ayrans, and one cola. Since there were a lot of customers and not enough food in the kebab skewers, there wasn't enough doner meat in the plate. They cooked to the highest temperature faster. Some of them were burnt, so our doner kebab didn't taste good. The worst thing was that they ripped us off for €43.50. I recommend visiting during quieter times, no matter which kebab shop. Doner kebab with burnt, stale meat from the shelf and completely cold. The boss at the counter only says "you" to German customers, others are simply called "you" in a rude manner, that's totally disrespectful. I said 2 large fries in front of him and then got 2 small fries. Conclusion: never again.

Very tasty kebab from the homemade skewer. Classic selection of salads - everything super fresh. Toilets were also very clean, unfortunately you rarely see them in other stores.

Absolute recommendation! We had kebab, kebab meat on a plate, Ali Nazik, Beyti, kebab plate and shish kebab skewer - and every single dish was simply bomb! The meat was super tender and flavorful, the side dishes were fresh and perfectly balanced. The taste completely convinced us. The service was also top and the portions were more than sufficient. We will definitely be back and can only recommend the store!

We went to the Abant Restaurant in Gelsenkirchen for the second time on Saturday and were once again more than satisfied! If you are looking for a kebab snack bar with Ruhrpott charm, Abant Döner is the right place! If you want to experience a slightly different kebab taste experience, you should try the kebab there. The meat tastes incredibly good and is not the standard that you can get on every corner. Highlight: Fillet or ribs fried in butter - definitely order! Very trained, service-oriented and friendly staff. The owners are also very hospitable and make you feel welcome. The only negative point: the shop was a bit cold. At the end we sat at the table with our jackets. But that wasn't a big deal for us. TOP!

Family business at the top level! There's nothing "doner kebab" or minced meat skewers here! You'll be looking for a comparable kebab for a long time! The grilled dishes are also consistently good. Large portions, very tasty, very good service I've been going there for over 30 years. Regarding the criticism that only big YouTubers get big portions there, I have to say that it's not true
