Best Turkish restaurant in Germany which I have been so far. Strongly recommended!!

The food, the service, the attentiveness, the dessert—everything was top-notch. All the ingredients were truly top-quality. Even the salt on the table is the best, most expensive on the market. That's all I'm saying. You absolutely must experience this.

I recommend it to everyone with great taste.

Everything was superb. Both the appetizers and the meat were delicious. The waiters were very attentive. The owner, Muhsin Bey, especially paid individual attention to almost every guest. I highly recommend it.

Disappointed! We were there for breakfast today (a Monday morning), and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The rolls were cold and stale, the fries were soggy, the hot food was cold, and the cheese was way too frosty. In my opinion, the buffet was far too poor for the price (€16.90), which didn't even include tea (not even the first tea!). Cakes, etc., were all ready-made products. In Cologne, tea is included in the price, and the buffet offers a wide variety of options. We feel ripped off, paying almost €45 for two people. Unfortunately, we don't want to come back.

Today we ordered a grill plate for four people for €120 through Liefero. We've never paid so much for such poor quality, taste, and quantity of meat. Absolutely not recommended. NEVER AGAIN!

The weather also cooperated, so the atmosphere by the lake was simply indescribably beautiful – an unforgettable day for us and our guests. Had such a great time here! The service was amazing and the food was so tasty — we shared the mixed platter, and the kebabs, künefe and kazandibi were all incredible. The birthday celebrations were the highlight though — cutting the cake with a sword and the music made it so fun and memorable. With the peaceful lake and forest view, it’s the kind of place you don’t want to leave. Definitely a must-visit in Germany!

Absolutely not recommended; I wouldn't do it again. It was just a spontaneous decision because we were nearby. They do have open service, but all the excuses like, "The refrigerated counter is broken here," "The heated blanket is broken here," and "It's coming to your table" are outrageous. Service is truly poor; the waiters are all busy on their phones. Sorry, not recommended.

Honestly, the best Turkish restaurant I have tried outside Türkiye.

We went for the buffet breakfast after seeing the restaurant's rating. We'd tried the Essen branch the previous weekend and were pleased with the buffet, but this branch was a complete disaster. Because it's located on a lake, we had to travel 120 km to have breakfast by a dried-out, smelly lake. I say "we did" because all the food was left over from the day before. The tea served to the table was not included in the buffet, and we weren't informed about this. The buffet selection was very limited and unfortunately lacking in flavor. The fresh pastry brought at the end of breakfast was just ordinary puff pastry. We were given a 15 euro gift certificate on our way out. They said it was only valid at this restaurant and they were waiting for positive Google reviews. I won't even go near it again. The only good thing was the plate selection.

A guest had come to our family. The guest was my father's friend. They had come with their children. When we arrived, one of the men played music. He asked us what we wanted, so we ordered. Then, while the men were bringing the food, they asked us if we wanted anything else. We ordered, and then the men brought us the food, saying "Enjoy your meal." The food was served very well. There were nice meatballs and vegetarian dishes, but I'm mostly a meat eater. The best thing was the sap, it was good. There was also Cola Turka because who wouldn't want to drink Nationalist Cola? Even Turka was good at school. It was ice cold there. I gave him this star because we were served well. There were also good men who served good food and asked if we wanted anything else. For dessert, we had Kazandibi rice pudding, as well as baklava, which was served with plenty of clotted cream. The best part was the chops, which were also good. They brought the better food hot, with the fire burning. We had to put the pot somewhere and take the food out of the pot.

Addendum: Still great today 👍🏼 very tasty food. Very attentive waiters and everyone super friendly. Absolutely top-notch. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the food incredibly delicious. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and polite. The prices are absolutely fantastic for this wonderful food. Highly recommended.

The food is high quality and truly delicious. The breakfast buffet is unfortunately much smaller than it was a few months ago, making the selection very limited. The cakes are unfortunately packaged and not fresh; they're very sweet and dry, but it's okay. Perhaps signs could be put up so you know what's what. The ambiance is nice, but windows are opened without asking, even though it's only 13 degrees Celsius (we came for breakfast). The music was very loud, but they turned it down upon request.

I can say that this is the best restaurant we've eaten at in Europe. The attentive staff and the quality of the food are superb.

I was at the Nirvana Restaurant in Mechernich yesterday and I was thrilled! The food was incredibly delicious – almost like a mini-vacation in Turkey. While the lake/pond you see in older photos is no longer there, which would have been a lovely sight, everything else is top-notch: the ambiance, service, and food are all top-notch. The prayer room, with its own ablution area for ablution, deserves special mention – truly thoughtful and respectful. All the staff are extremely friendly, and the manager is also very accommodating. It's definitely worth the trip! I'll definitely be back and can highly recommend it to everyone. 🫶🏻✨ Have a wonderful day!

Simply the worst restaurant experience of my life: Point 1: When I called to ask if I could still get a seat and food at 10 p.m., here it was: Yes, but until 11 p.m., and then they would close. We arrived and were reminded again that they were only open until 11 p.m., after which they would close... Okay, we get it. With children, we don't have the luxury of loitering there for hours anyway... Point 2: A waiter directed us to an empty seat. We sat down, then the other waiter came and wanted to move us (despite having a baby and a toddler) because there were four of us and the table was for six. After I told him we'd been directed there and that the place was almost empty anyway, and what the problem was, the waiter just pulled a long face and grumbled something under his breath, then took the two extra plates and cutlery away. Point 3: The waiter was breathing down our necks while we looked at the menu. Point 4: When ordering, I specifically asked if the dishes were still available and if they could still be prepared. The answer was yes. What arrived? Sac Kavurma with raw tomatoes and barely roasted vegetables. The meat was well cooked, but it was more of a Sac salad than a Sac roast. Point 5: While we were hurriedly eating and trying to get out of the store before 11 p.m., new customers arrived at 10:35 p.m. and were given this greasy grill plate. Okay, I thought they closed at 11 p.m.… The waiter then naturally chatted with his newly arrived premium guests instead of checking if any of the other guests needed anything or would like something. Point 4: At 10:50 p.m., the table next door was informed that the cash register was closing. The neighbors paid. We paid. Almost 11:00 p.m., we're heading toward the exit, while the privileged Späti table is being treated to dessert. Inside, people are still eating their food, having obviously re-seated. It could have been the kitchen staff. I don't know. But why such a fuss about closing at 11:00 p.m. when they're still serving people? Do the employees not get paid after the official opening hours, or what? Bad reception, bad food, bad service. Okay, Beyti wasn't bad. Just Beyti. Quite good. But it was a million miles away from making up for the rest. My first experience with the breakfast buffet wasn't great either. I thought: maybe dinner would be better. No thanks. Never again.

I don't understand the good reviews. Last year, we came here for our wedding anniversary and had a lovely evening with delicious food. Today, after a year, I was really looking forward to visiting the restaurant (we live about an hour away). It was such a disappointment. The meatballs were cold (only one was still warm). The rice was cold and tasteless. How can rice not taste good? Unfortunately, the meatballs were also tasteless, and my husband's Adana kebab was also tasteless. When we ordered, we were asked if we wanted meze, which shocked us, since the meze was supposed to be free?! Two waiters were a bit unfriendly, but one was very, very friendly (thanks to him). It's a real shame that Nirvana isn't what it used to be. What a shame! Maybe you should pay attention to the negative comments and improve. For example, I don't plan on coming here for a long time. I'll only come when I read more positive recent reviews.
