I tried the UFO döner, but couldn't eat it because of the poor quality. When I received it, I thought, "Hey, how cool!" But the first bite got stuck in my throat, and I had to spit it all out. 🤮 The chicken was still raw and partly bloody. The sauces were bland. Even if I had liked it, I would have been disappointed because there was more vegetables than meat in the bread. Speaking of the bread, it tasted like stale feet. All in all, I don't understand the hype and will definitely never eat there again. A complete failure!!!

The doner kebab was only mediocre overall. The bread was unfortunately not crispy at all and got soggy very quickly due to the sauces, so the doner split in two after a short time. The sauces themselves had hardly any flavor – they weren't runny, but they tasted very watery, meaning they had little flavor. The doner kebab as a whole was extremely greasy, with a lot of oil dripping out. The salad was also rather average and not particularly fresh. I was a bit disappointed with the meat – it was still pink and soft in places, meaning it wasn't fully cooked. The staff also seemed a bit lackluster and could have been a bit friendlier and more attentive. Overall, I don't think the doner kebab was worth the price of €7.50.

Family Owned and Run, great handmade food. You feel like one of the family while eating there. Place is completely worth a visit and they have any amazing bakery next door as well.

The food here is simply delicious! The meat böreks are especially highly recommended, as are the potato versions. The kebab doner impresses with delicious sauces, plenty of fresh vegetables, and a wonderfully seasoned Adana kebab in a dürüm. The flatbread is absolutely perfect... crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The staff is also very friendly and attentive; you immediately feel welcome. A careless preparation of a takeaway kebab. Tomatoes on the left, onions on the right, the sauce at the bottom, salad in the middle, on top. It's a shame, although the flavor is good, the distribution of the ingredients in the flatbread is amateurish. There's a lot of room for improvement.

For me, Nimet Grill is one of the best kebab shops, not just in Kalk, but in all of Cologne! Not only do I find it really delicious, the prices and portions are more than fair! I had a kids' kebab plate to go, and it was filling. The huge piece of flatbread (which was free) is always there in a pinch. 🙂 The atmosphere inside is OK, snack-style, but it's good enough. I used to go somewhere else out of laziness because there are so many in Kalk, but now I prefer to walk the extra few meters; it's worth it.

Food catastrophic, kitchen is not clean, I ordered an Adana Kebap which tasted like a burger, the chicken meat was like chewing gum and also did not taste good

I've been to Nimet Grill in Cologne-Kalk several times and I'm always impressed. The food is simply top-notch – fresh, delicious, and perfectly seasoned. The doner kebab, in particular, is one of the best I've had in Cologne: juicy meat, crispy bread, and fresh vegetables. The vegetarian dishes and ayran are also great! The service is friendly and quick, even when it's busy. You can tell the passion they put into their work here. The atmosphere is pleasant and clean, whether you eat in or takeaway. Very nice food and high prices, the service of the staff is great, everyone is friendly

We preferred it because we are Muslim Turks. The meat doner had no flavor at all. There was no interest or concern. The waitress did not speak Turkish and acted as if she had an attitude. The place is very shabby and unkempt, the door of the sink should be painted.

Speechless. Simply speechless. This perfection, this meat, and these sauces, simply a feast for the palate. Yes, folks, I know they've made the prices higher than they should be, but what can I say, rightly so. Trust me, just go there once, get a kebab mixed with everything except cucumber and tomato, and you'll become addicted.

The daily specials are also highly recommended! 2025: The quality of the doner kebab really depends heavily on who makes it. I've been severely disappointed a few times now. I just ate a doner kebab where the last bite was so dry I could barely get it down. Especially since the doner kebab operator was working in a really unhygienic manner. Blowing his nose, taking the cash, making the doner kebab, all without washing his hands in between. Even the gloves don't help.

Very unfriendly. First time there and I will definitely never eat there. Friendliness is important in the restaurant industry, but it seems to be a foreign concept in this place. Hygiene is also nonexistent there.

I knew Nimet Grill was good but I was disappointed. I bought lahmacun. It was a sin but it was really bad. I ate it as if it was left over from yesterday but I ate it with a lump in my throat. Sorry. There was no hygiene at all. Everything was messy. I would like to say that they should take the customers into consideration. I hope they are successful. I won't go there again. I'm sorry.

I ordered via Lieferando. The delivery was accepted. Then in preparation and canceled for no reason after 40 minutes of waiting. This is no service. If you don't have the capacity, don't offer the service! Or cancel it after 10 minutes, but not after 40 minutes.

An absolute disappointment. The meat had an unpleasant smell and was definitely not fresh. The hygiene leaves a lot to be desired - both in the guest room and among the staff. The tables were dirty and the cutlery was unkempt. Overall a very unpleasant experience. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

It was my first time here and I ordered a chicken kebab. The kebab tasted very tasty. The bread was nice and crispy and the meat was juicy. I will definitely stop by again. Even though it was very busy, the staff were very friendly. The selection is really very large, in addition to kebab there are also various grilled dishes, soups, even baklava and sütlaç (rice pudding).

Considering that it is "just a fast food restaurant in the heart of Kalk", I have to say that the staff attaches great importance to fulfilling special requests. I've been eating there for years and the restaurant has changed a lot, the equipment and everything, but one thing that I also see as very positive is that the staff is still the same, very commendable.

The first time I noticed that the service women always had their gloves on, so they did everything: put bread in the basket, dirty dishes in the kitchen, clean and throw away the garbage. After a long time, we visited the NIMET Grill in Cologne-Kalk today and were thrilled! The kebab was fresh and delicious, the meat was perfectly seasoned and the portions were generous. Our children and we have it. The staff, especially Canan, was very attentive and friendly and the service was quick, despite the very full restaurant. The selection of starters and fresh bread rounded off our visit. A clear tip for all kebab lovers in Cologne! We'll definitely be back!

A small but nice restaurant with its own bakery Today we went to Nimet Grill for the first time as a family. Our waitress Canan welcomed and served us in a very friendly manner. We chose several daily and grilled dishes that were served to us very quickly. The selection of daily specials was large and without exception, everything tasted excellent! Dear Canan kept asking about us and was very accommodating. The service in this restaurant is truly outstanding! The staff seemed relaxed and although it was packed, to my surprise everyone had a smile on their faces. My absolute recommendation: Order some of the sweets for dessert!! These are homemade in our own bakery next door and are really amazing. Afterwards we bought bread and Simit at the bakery to take home. The bread just came fresh out of the oven and was really a dream. This restaurant is really a heartfelt recommendation from us as a family if you ever want to eat delicious Turkish food in Kalk! I've eaten here several times and tried the vegetarian dishes. Very tasty, very familiar and the ladies behind the counter buzz around you and read your wishes. Canan in particular stands out with her warm nature. I'd love to come back

1 star is only given for the fast service. The shop is so dirty, as are the dishes. The entrance door stays open and so the cold and traffic comes into the snack bar. The meat is too fatty, the fries are too salty, the tzatziki is too runny and tastes like yogurt. Absolutely cannot understand the good reviews. We had dinner with 6 people and everyone had the same opinion as me.

Assalaamu alaikum, I have been a regular here for more than 16 years and am very satisfied. Very tasty and fresh dishes, around the clock. The grill plate is particularly recommended. Price/performance is great. Anyone visiting the Cologne Acarden should stop by here.

We ordered for 62€, all the sauces with the dishes were forgotten and a salad with the kebab plate was forgotten and once fries instead of rice with the kebab plate. We called and the man on the phone said that they wouldn't deliver anything and was extremely rude. The food was delicious, mistakes happen, but I don't have to put up with being so rude on the phone. The first and last time we ordered there.
