I came all the way from Saarbrücken just to eat here and I wasn't disappointed, simply delicious. The dürüm was absolutely amazing!! I also treated myself to a soup, simply wow.

Little meat and tastes like nothing, what a shame.

Indian street food lovers would shudder at the thought of eating a doner kebab at Nimet Grill. When we entered, we were neither greeted politely nor provided with anything that could be called "food." The lamb had a slight aftertaste of barnyard manure and rotten cabbage, which ruined our appetite after just a few bites. Not to mention the generally filthy interior, the toilet was the highlight. You get a bottle of dish soap with a hole in the cap, so diluted that your hands are contaminated with numerous diseases previously unknown to the world simply by touching it. Best regards

I asked for meat doner, but I turned my back for two minutes. They were too tired to cut it, so they put in less meat, and then they put in chicken. It had no flavor. I only went there late at night because it was open. I'm sick of eating doner.

I really like the bakery, but I think they could be a bit more hygienic. Taking money from so many people at once and then handling the products, like the bread and everything else, with their bare hands. Tearing open the bread to see what's inside, dipping their fingers into the filling – to be honest, that kind of put me off my appetite... they really do make delicious things, but using tongs or other utensils isn't too much to ask...

I tried the UFO döner, but couldn't eat it because of the poor quality. When I received it, I thought, "Hey, how cool!" But the first bite got stuck in my throat, and I had to spit it all out. 🤮 The chicken was still raw and partly bloody. The sauces were bland. Even if I had liked it, I would have been disappointed because there was more vegetables than meat in the bread. Speaking of the bread, it tasted like stale feet. All in all, I don't understand the hype and will definitely never eat there again. A complete failure!!!

The doner kebab was only mediocre overall. The bread was unfortunately not crispy at all and got soggy very quickly due to the sauces, so the doner split in two after a short time. The sauces themselves had hardly any flavor – they weren't runny, but they tasted very watery, meaning they had little flavor. The doner kebab as a whole was extremely greasy, with a lot of oil dripping out. The salad was also rather average and not particularly fresh. I was a bit disappointed with the meat – it was still pink and soft in places, meaning it wasn't fully cooked. The staff also seemed a bit lackluster and could have been a bit friendlier and more attentive. Overall, I don't think the doner kebab was worth the price of €7.50.

The food here is simply delicious! The meat böreks are especially highly recommended, as are the potato versions. The kebab doner impresses with delicious sauces, plenty of fresh vegetables, and a wonderfully seasoned Adana kebab in a dürüm. The flatbread is absolutely perfect... crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The staff is also very friendly and attentive; you immediately feel welcome. A careless preparation of a takeaway kebab. Tomatoes on the left, onions on the right, the sauce at the bottom, salad in the middle, on top. It's a shame, although the flavor is good, the distribution of the ingredients in the flatbread is amateurish. There's a lot of room for improvement.

For me, Nimet Grill is one of the best kebab shops, not just in Kalk, but in all of Cologne! Not only do I find it really delicious, the prices and portions are more than fair! I had a kids' kebab plate to go, and it was filling. The huge piece of flatbread (which was free) is always there in a pinch. 🙂 The atmosphere inside is OK, snack-style, but it's good enough. I used to go somewhere else out of laziness because there are so many in Kalk, but now I prefer to walk the extra few meters; it's worth it.

We preferred it because we are Muslim Turks. The meat doner had no flavor at all. There was no interest or concern. The waitress did not speak Turkish and acted as if she had an attitude. The place is very shabby and unkempt, the door of the sink should be painted.

The daily specials are also highly recommended! 2025: The quality of the doner kebab really depends heavily on who makes it. I've been severely disappointed a few times now. I just ate a doner kebab where the last bite was so dry I could barely get it down. Especially since the doner kebab operator was working in a really unhygienic manner. Blowing his nose, taking the cash, making the doner kebab, all without washing his hands in between. Even the gloves don't help.

Very unfriendly. First time there and I will definitely never eat there. Friendliness is important in the restaurant industry, but it seems to be a foreign concept in this place. Hygiene is also nonexistent there.

I knew Nimet Grill was good but I was disappointed. I bought lahmacun. It was a sin but it was really bad. I ate it as if it was left over from yesterday but I ate it with a lump in my throat. Sorry. There was no hygiene at all. Everything was messy. I would like to say that they should take the customers into consideration. I hope they are successful. I won't go there again. I'm sorry.

I ordered via Lieferando. The delivery was accepted. Then in preparation and canceled for no reason after 40 minutes of waiting. This is no service. If you don't have the capacity, don't offer the service! Or cancel it after 10 minutes, but not after 40 minutes.

An absolute disappointment. The meat had an unpleasant smell and was definitely not fresh. The hygiene leaves a lot to be desired - both in the guest room and among the staff. The tables were dirty and the cutlery was unkempt. Overall a very unpleasant experience. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

It was my first time here and I ordered a chicken kebab. The kebab tasted very tasty. The bread was nice and crispy and the meat was juicy. I will definitely stop by again. Even though it was very busy, the staff were very friendly. The selection is really very large, in addition to kebab there are also various grilled dishes, soups, even baklava and sütlaç (rice pudding).

Considering that it is "just a fast food restaurant in the heart of Kalk", I have to say that the staff attaches great importance to fulfilling special requests. I've been eating there for years and the restaurant has changed a lot, the equipment and everything, but one thing that I also see as very positive is that the staff is still the same, very commendable.
