2 people, with reservation. Food great, atmosphere good. Unfortunately :
2nd glass of beer 15 minutes after ordering, food 70 (!) minutes after ordering. Reaction from the staff: no word, no explanation, no gesture. Nothing.
Small, cute restaurant. As soon as you enter, you feel like you've been transported to Italy many years ago. 🙂
The food was very tasty and, above all, the price-performance ratio is unbeatable.
If we come to Münster again, we will definitely eat here.
First class restaurant with Sardinian cuisine, excellent food and very friendly service! We will always have fond memories of the Marcellino Pane e vino because, in addition to a few visits as a couple, we also had a meal there following our civil wedding with the closest family and really had a wonderful evening there.
Unfortunately, our visit to this pizzeria was not particularly enjoyable. As soon as you entered, you noticed that it was very cold in the restaurant - really uncomfortable. The freshly tapped beer didn't taste good and remained standing.
We ordered starters and main courses. The olives we ordered as a starter were very spicy - definitely too much for someone who doesn't like spiciness. A note from the waitress would have been welcome. The carpaccio was also disappointing: too cold, too watery and unfortunately hardly seasoned.
The rolls we ordered were tasty, but we could have been informed that rolls are served with some dishes anyway. In the end there were 15 small rolls on the table for 2.5 people - just too much.
For the main course, the salad tasted good, the pizza was tasty, but unfortunately too runny in the middle and anything but crispy. The lasagne was warm on the outside, but barely inside - and the taste was also rather mediocre.
At the end there was also a misunderstanding about the change when paying - we only got €8 back instead of the expected €12. Overall, the service was not attentive and many of the problems could have been avoided with better communication.
Conclusion: Unfortunately it wasn't a completely successful evening - therefore only 2 stars.
I was back at Villa Medici after almost 30 years. Now in the restaurant of the new location.
And I was thrilled. Perfect service, great cuisine, like in old times. The rooms are very stylish and the grappa at the end is a highlight. I keep coming back.
Very friendly, attentive service.
We received very tasty, freshly baked pizza rolls in advance. Ate super delicious pasta, gnocchi and pizza.
Family friendly prices.
Thank you for the great service
The service was very good. Super nice people. Rafaelo continually looked after us and responded to every request immediately. The food was a 10/10. This is how it HAS to be! Anytime again as soon as I'm in the area
Established for a long time, no longer an insider tip - small but nice. Reservation or advance inquiry about occupancy is recommended.
The menu is not overloaded, but offers enough choice with the current offerings.
The dishes are excellent in ingredients and preparation.
I had one of the best restaurant pizzas of my life here.
The food is priced appropriately for the quality, the drinks are okay. In the bar you just can't compare with store prices for bottles.
Conclusion:
Run by the owners themselves with a passion for gastronomy, an absolute recommendation for an excursion into Italian cuisine without any fancy culinary escapades.
Unreserved recommendation.
Courteous, attentive service. A friendly Italian atmosphere. The daily specials are presented verbally at the table, with a presentation of the fresh fish and meat. Unfortunately, there are no prices, which can lead to some surprises at the end. The standard menu was unfortunately only served later, when the wine selection was made. The appetizers and main courses were very tasty. The lemon and sage sauce with the veal was excellent.
The food is excellent, but too expensive for the portion size.
