Piccolo Mondo da Carmelo in Münster

Small, cute restaurant. As soon as you enter, you feel like you've been transported to Italy many years ago. 🙂 The food was very tasty and, above all, the price-performance ratio is unbeatable. If we come to Münster again, we will definitely eat here.

Very cool little Italian restaurant with a small but very nice menu. Wines are very tasty and we would love to come back for a relaxed dinner!

We (couple) had a spontaneous meal at the Picollo Mondo da Carmelo restaurant on a Wednesday around 5:30 p.m. We were assigned a table for two by the window. The restaurant is very small and around 6 p.m. there were no tables left. We ordered two pasta dishes, the homemade Spaghetti alla Sarda (with lamb fillet) and the homemade Tagliatelle Monte Bianco (with strips of duck breast and chanterelles). The service staff was very nice, attentive and the orders, whether drinks or food, came promptly. As a small greeting from the kitchen there was bread with (I assume homemade) herb butter. We really enjoyed the two pasta dishes. The price/performance ratio was absolutely fine. We will definitely stop by again.

A small and authentic Italian restaurant where you can spend a nice evening. Everything is freshly prepared and the wine recommendations from the owner are always good. The food is always consistently good.

Small Italian restaurant (they also serve pizza) with excellent food. We recommend. Reservation is important.

Mega delicious, homemade antipasti. Very, very tasty. Totally nice, attentive service. I would have liked to give it 5 stars, but the bottle of wine is only available here from €22.

Hello :) A clear recommendation! We were visiting Münster and had a very good experience on the recommendation of someone from Münster. We don't understand the previous reviews. Given the writing and the great reviews, you should definitely give it 5 stars 🌟 Other stores in Münster had better reviews, but were far from keeping up. It was simply delicious and the quality was good, as long as you can judge that from two dishes. Even though it was well attended and we didn't have a reservation, we even managed to get a spot! ♡ Thank you for the nice & comfortable stay. Best regards.

Nice little restaurant with delicious food.

In this restaurant, which looks rather inconspicuous from the outside, I ate the pizza that currently tops my list of the tastiest pizzas. And I've eaten a lot of pizzas. Shrimp and salmon were really very good and not just cheap stuff like so often. Delicious. Gladly again.

Really great Italian food. Both the pasta and the pizza were delicious. But above all the bruschetta is highly recommended. The bottle of red wine was also great. We will be back.

Excellent😋 Italian cuisine🇮🇹, There was: Spaghetti 🍝 ai Crostaci (Spaghetti with scampi 🍤, scampettis, prawns and mussels in tomato sauce) and Maccheroni Siciliana (Maccheroni with eggplant, peppers and zucchini in tomato sauce) plus a bottle of red house wine. Very tasty tuna pizza and spinach pizza. If requested, divided before serving so that we had half of each pizza on the plate. The red wine (bottle) also tasted good. The espresso was hot and aromatic. Everything was as you would expect from a good Italian restaurant, and there was nothing wrong with the service either.

We had the audacity to stumble in here on New Year's Eve without a reservation. They made room for us at the counter and presented us with a sensational menu and an excellent Lambrusco. I don't even want to go into the details because overall it was so well rounded, coherent and extraordinary. This man is passionate about what he does and it shows in every little aspect. If you are in the area west of Münster, you shouldn't miss this.

Leckeres kleines Restaurant vom Feinsten

Ich war das erste Mal da und habe eine leckere Pizza gegessen wenn ich in der Gegend bin komme ich wieder und teste die anderen Sachen also erstmal fünf Sterne

Ein perfekter Abend bei Carmelo

Wir kommen sehr gerne zu Carmelo . Er ist super freundlich und bietet immer sehr leckere Gerichte an . Unser Lieblings Italiener

Ich hatte Lasagne bestellt aber bekam hauptsächlich Käse mit einer Sahne-Tomate-Fleisch Sauce und ein wenig Pasta drin. Ich war sehr enttäuscht, denn beim Italiener sollte man schon eine echte Lasagne bekommen wenn man über 11 Euro dafür zahlt. Und wirklich freundlich aufgenommen kam ich mir auch nicht vor, daher meide ich dieses Restaurant.

Ich war am Wochenende das erste mal dort,ich habe dort die beste Pizza in Deutschland gegessen, ich hatte wirklich fast Tränen in den Augen, denn genauso wie in Italien bei der Familie war die Pizza. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis Top. Wenn wir wieder in Münster sind,werden wir hier definitiv wieder essen...

Ein super schönes kleines Restaurant mit hervorragendem Essen. Ich wurde in all den Jahren noch nie enttäuscht.

Sehr leckeres Essen in neuem Ambiente.

Sehr leckere Tagliatelle mit Lachs, Scampi (etwas fest) und Salbei. Mit leckeren Zwiebelchen, einer Knoblauchzehe, Salz und grobem Pfeffer. Genau so wie ich es mir wünsche. Weder zu viel noch zu wenig gewürzt. Ein (weiterer) kleiner Schuss Weißwein hätte dem Essen noch gut gestanden. Dann wäre es wirklich komplett perfekt gewesen. Am Tellerrand mit geriebenem Parmesan garniert. Die kleinen Amuse-Gueule Brötchen aus Pizzateig waren knusprig, locker, nicht übersalzen. Und die Kräuterbutter hat auch dazu gepasst. Da das jedoch mit den Tagliatelle serviert wurde, hatten die keine wirkliche Chance. Und am Schluss braucht man auch nicht mehr wirklich Pizzabrötchen. Der Grappa war auch empfehlenswert. Weiches Mundgefühl. Typischer Mandel/Blausäure-Ton. Kirsche. Nuss. Ein kleiner, flüssiger Nachtisch. Ganz günstig ist das Essen nicht: Aber wenn jemand wirklich günstig so etwas essen möchte, muss er mindestens mal so gut kochen können ;) Ambiente ganz nett. Mir persönlich zu eng. Allerdings stimmig. Chef war beim kassieren etwas kalt. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Musste relativ lange (10 min) warten, bis ich zahlen durfte. Zu lange. Würde es wieder tun und schauen, womit ich Glück oder Pech hatte. :D
