Aladdin Terras in Duisburg

We ate there as a family this afternoon. The service was very, very good and very friendly. The meat was very tasty and not at all dry. The bread arrived fresh and hot at our table and tasted excellent. The value for money is absolutely excellent, as the food is fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back.

We went with two friends for a Kasham dinner. We ordered the mixed grill and ground meat pide. This restaurant is a bit better than its peers. The food was generally delicious, but the portions for the mixed grill could have been a bit larger. The ground meat in the ground meat pide was pre-roasted and then baked. It was good, but I recommend it for spicier and fresher options. The complimentary salads and appetizers were both varied and delicious. The staff member (Mr. Numan) who looked after us was very kind and attentive. We were very pleased. We'd go back again just for that smile. We recommend it.

Everything is truly outstanding! The food is absolutely top-notch, the staff very friendly and attentive, and the prices are more than fair. We only paid €41 for two people with drinks and an appetizer. The Adana meat is cooked on a hot stone and sizzles on the table, simply delicious. We'll definitely be back. If you want REAL Turkish food, this is the place for you!

Upon entering, you have to pay immediately and are handed plates at the cash register – this seemed unusual to me and is something I've never experienced before. If you want a fresh plate, you have to go back to the cash register, which is rather inconvenient. The selection is limited; the food tasted okay, but nothing special – although Turkish breakfast is usually something special for me. You clear away your own plates and dishes after eating, similar to fast-food chains. Overall, I had the feeling that they're trying to squeeze in as much as possible with minimal effort. For €14.90 per person, I know of much better alternatives in the area – unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

The meal was delicious, but unfortunately, after two weeks, the promised refund still hasn't been transferred to me. The waiter forgot to bring the money to my table, and I subsequently gave him my bank details. Unfortunately, nothing has happened yet.

It says open online, but the door is closed

Formerly known as Terras, it was a good breakfast café, but now it's unfortunately disappointing. Positive: Fresh bread and rolls from the bakery. Negative: • Hot dishes were all cold (eggs, menemen, pisi - cold and hard, fries). • Tomatoes and melon smelled of onions, probably from the knife that had previously been used for onions. • Overall, limited selection, price around €15 per person. Conclusion: I wouldn't come back and can't recommend it.

Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated considerably. We arrived for breakfast around 12:00 and paid full price. Nothing was refilled. I absolutely cannot understand why they give you "plastic" plates there. That's completely unacceptable. That was the last time I was there. The kitchen door was open, and the kitchen looked anything but clean. What a shame, a real shame ☹️

The staff are always attentive, and the food is regularly replenished. The furniture looks rancid and old and definitely doesn't belong in an outdoor restaurant. The smoking area on the terrace is more for smokers. The entrance is reminiscent of a lost place – the elevator is broken, and only God knows how long it's been like that. Well, and the plastic plates are more reminiscent of a cafeteria... All in all, you can eat there once in a while, but for €15 per person, you'd expect a bit more. ✌️

What I would like to change, however, is: - No smoking on the terrace, please; small children can sit at the next table. - The chairs outside are unsightly; perhaps get different ones that aren't as dirty. - The music inside is a bit too loud; a little quieter would be more pleasant. - Write on the food what it is; the dips, in particular, were unclear.

A great restaurant that's easily accessible, with plenty of parking in front of the door. Unfortunately, the restaurant isn't wheelchair accessible, as you have to climb several stairs to reach the upper floors. The restaurant has both an indoor and outdoor area that can be used. The interior is very cozy and beautifully designed, and also accommodates larger groups. There are two terraces, one of which could be a bit more attractive. As a small tip, I would suggest cleaning the tables, or at least the chairs that have been left outside for a long time, before guests arrive. The high chairs for babies should also be cleaned, which is a minus point for the ambiance. The buffet is absolutely wonderful. Beautifully decorated and has a large selection of hot and cold dishes. There is plenty of coffee, tea, and other juices. Guests can also help themselves to desserts. Vegetarian food is available in large quantities. We dined with a large group and therefore made reservations in advance. It wasn't that busy that day, so there were no waits at the buffet. The staff is very friendly and very helpful! The value for money is also excellent, so despite some minor criticism, it gets 5 stars.

We're regulars here, but today we tried something new: a mixed fish platter. It was so delicious, I felt like I was in Turkey for a moment! A true experience—not least thanks to the friendly waiter, Sahin. The food and service were definitely a 10/10. We're looking forward to next time.

We ordered pita with sautéed meat and cubed cheese. Both were 7/10 in terms of taste. Portions were quite filling; We couldn't finish the pita so we had it packaged. Their presentations were meticulous, and their offerings were diverse and delicious. The employees were friendly and attentive, and offering tea was a nice detail. The place has indoor and outdoor areas, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I just didn't like their homemade ayran very much. Overall it was a nice experience, may visit again.

I would like to give feedback on breakfast, but it's not easy for me because the impression was unfortunately very disappointing. Although the store officially opens at 8:00 a.m., even at 9:00 a.m. there was no bread available. In my opinion, it is incomprehensible that guests should already be sitting at their tables and helping themselves to the buffet while such an essential ingredient as bread is missing. Absolutely incomprehensible to me - this simply shouldn't happen.

Disastrous organization and disrespectful service – never again! We had reserved a table for Ramadan and told the restaurant in advance that we would be a little late - this was confirmed. But when we arrived, our table was already given to other guests. We were offered a seat outside on the terrace. After half an hour (!) we were told that the terrace still had to be prepared. While the breaking of the fast had already begun, we were not even offered water, even though it was clear that we were fasting. When we wanted to speak to the managing director, we were told that he wasn't there - no one felt responsible and communication was just chaotic. After a long wait and without any solution, we finally left in frustration. This is not how you treat guests - especially not during Lent. Absolutely disappointing and definitely NOT recommended!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was a bitter disappointment. The service lacked any attention and professionalism. Despite repeated warnings from us, we were simply ignored for an unreasonably long period of time. The waiting time was particularly irritating: After we placed our order, nothing happened for a long time. Only after repeated inquiries were we told that we would have to wait another 20 minutes for our tea as it was apparently no longer in stock. Such poor organization and communication are simply unacceptable in the catering industry. Going to a restaurant should be a pleasant experience, but here it felt more like a test of patience. If you value courteous service, you should look for an alternative.

The food in the Aladdin Terrace was very tasty and freshly prepared. The ambience was nice, but it was quite loud, making it difficult to have a relaxed conversation. The waiters seemed a bit hectic, but Mr. Sahin was particularly friendly and attentive, which made the service very pleasant.

We went to the Terras Ocakbasi restaurant for the first time today. The day before yesterday we made a short-term reservation for 6 people by phone (breakfast buffet). The first contact on the phone was very friendly. We were warmly welcomed on site, the service was always friendly and very attentive. The team was very well organized. The restaurant was also very busy. The breakfast buffet is varied and was replenished regularly and in a timely manner. The dishes are seasoned optimally for our taste. We would like to come back for dinner soon and will highly recommend Terras Ocakbasi to everyone. Many thanks to the whole team.

The mezze starters were incredibly tasty, especially the pide with gratinated cheese – a dream! For the main course we had a mixed grill plate and a fish plate, both highly recommended. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was very cozy. An all-round successful experience! I will come again!

So far I've only been to Terras for breakfast. Usually always very crowded in the morning. I found that it was much more pleasant in the evening. If I had known that I would get the best grilled plate here, I would have come sooner. For the grill plate: Everything in sufficient quantities. Properly grilled (not too dry). Food is served on a stone slab that is heated. Food stayed warm for a long time. At other restaurants the food usually arrives lukewarm, but here everything is still really hot. Ate a hot tomato for the first time (burned my mouth). Otherwise I won't eat these things because they're already cold... Always welcome again soon👍😊👍

We visited the breakfast buffet with three adults and three small children and were completely thrilled. The food was delicious and was always fresh and refilled in abundance. We were well looked after and went home completely full and satisfied. The friendly and attentive staff rounded off our experience. Another plus point: Parking in the parking garage is free and you can get to the restaurant directly from there. However, the way there is not well signposted. Pay attention to the green door that can be seen in the photo - this leads directly into the restaurant. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

I have been to Warbeg Neumühl, Meiderich, Hamborn Alladin Restaurants, but I was disappointed in Terass Restaurant. I went for dinner with my daughters at 17.00 and there were 2-3 tables, although the others were empty, the food took 1 hour to arrive. Is Warbeg yours yet?? Or did you transfer it because I was disappointed? Respect.

Very, very nice and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is super nice and accommodating, always polite and with a smile on their faces. These points alone are worth a rating of 5/5. The food - ordered here Izgara plate (mixed meat plate) and Kuzu-Sis (lamb skewer) - came with free(!) salad for both people and a meze plate (mixed starter plate). The two dishes were incredibly tasty and worth more than 5 stars. Always happy!

I can highly recommend Aladdin Terras! The food surprised us very positively! Extremely tasty and a very large selection! Among other things, we ordered the mixed grill platter. It's really delicious and not too little. The starter was the 6 plate. The food is served with a small, beautiful dry ice decoration. The eye definitely eats here. The service is very friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. You can also eat on the very large and beautiful terrace. We are completely satisfied with everything! Parking options are also great! Simply drive into the parking garage in the same building and you will park right next to the entrance. I can highly recommend this restaurant to you! Early in the morning for Mittagessen, Come and order Abendessen at noon and your order will arrive at your table. This is the only way I can explain the slowness of the service and the kitchen.

I was amazed by the Tripe Soup and I definitely recommend it to everyone... and I couldn't find anything to say about the marinated mushrooms in curry sauce, the bagel, the pancake, it was all okdr, it was delicious 💯✔️ man fühlt sich definitiv sehr wohl wie zuhause 🏠 there was even fried bread, just like in my childhood ❤️

Frankly, this day disappointed me. Because cleanliness is zero. When I saw the stairs, I was disgusted and went up. The chairs inside are terrible, always dirty. The open buffet was also very sloppy. Why can't any place maintain its first line? The service is zero for the price paid. I don't recommend it to anyone, don't go and pay a bonus.

We were there for breakfast today. Everything we ate was perfectly fine. The selection at the buffet was clear but still sufficient. Personally, I missed the labeling on the prices. I can say about the ambience. Very cozy, but could be improved. In some places the wallpaper was coming off. But otherwise very nice there. The service was very nice. Gladly again.

I ate here yesterday and I can more than recommend the restaurant, everything was right down to the smallest detail and everything that was served was delicious. I ate Turkish food very often, but this was different. The Ayran and even the dips, which taste almost the same elsewhere, were a very, very good start here.

You pay 15 euros p.p. at the checkout. and gets a large plate, the rest is available at the counter.. But after the first course you want another clean plate.. well unfortunately you don't give it!!!! Don't be mad at me but the chairs weren't good, I didn't see any sesame rings either, a bit disappointed... could be even better...

We were there for lunch with several hundred people right after the breakfast brunch on Mother's Day. Despite everything, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the food was more than generous and not possible with the free additions (bread and various types of dips), but it was very tasty. We will be very happy to come back.

So I'll only rate the breakfast buffet now. I've often had breakfast at Aladdin, where I've always been happy, but today I went to Aladdin Terras and I was a bit disappointed. There is less choice and at least for me today nothing was really refilled, there were a lot of empty plates in the buffet. Next time I would go to the normal Aladdin because I personally (and my companion of 3 people) like the buffet better. You don't get the same offer for paying the same price.

I WAS DISAPPOINTED, MANY KINDS OF FOOD, BUT NOT TASTY... and I paid a lot for 2 people. Neither the restaurant nor the food was worth it.

We were there (pre-booked) with 12 people and it was just chaos. We were stuck in a draft because the balcony door was constantly being opened. 3 of us didn't get any food at all and some of the others had to eat cold. The team seemed very uncoordinated and chaotic. So we won't be eating there anymore!

Unfortunately no breakfast brunch available on the day we visited.. probably due to Ramadan. Next time better luck..

Were there yesterday. 04/02/24 Too few staff. Food didn't come even though we were the first to order. So we waited 2 hours for nothing. Nobody cared about us. So not recommended

We were there for breakfast today. The offer was good, but the cutlery, which you could take yourself from the cutlery containers, was not clean at all. You had to look carefully to find something clean. Unfortunately the same thing happens with the soup bowls and the coffee glasses. That's why we won't go there again.
