Bursa Kebap Evi in Duisburg

We visited Bursa Kebap Evi Duisburg with our tour group of 20 people on October 25th, and we were all extremely pleased with the place. Both the flavors and the service were truly wonderful. The staff were very friendly, prompt, and welcoming. Despite our large group, everything was meticulously prepared, and the service was impeccable. We ate at Bursa Kebap House yesterday and were very satisfied. The food was delicious, and you can tell they place great importance on cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are always very friendly; you feel right at home there. The restaurant is perfect for families and friends. We highly recommend Bursa Kebap House!

It tasted okay overall, but the value for money is poor. The amount of meat in one portion is very small. None of my boys would be full if we didn't stuff our stomachs with bread first.

The service and ambiance were impeccable. The restrooms are very clean, and the fact that there's even a mescid (a small, traditional dishwashing area) is a particularly nice touch – it shows real attention to the guests. One small suggestion for improvement: It would be preferable if the İskender and Bursa Kebabs were made with Yaprak (a type of fried meat) instead of minced meat. This would bring out the authentic flavor even better. The price-performance ratio isn't quite right for minced meat either – the price would be more reasonable with Yaprak. Therefore, one star is deducted. Overall, a very pleasant visit.

Extremely poor value for money at Iskender. €18 for a bit of soggy flatbread with a bit of doner meat on top. The taste isn't great either. A doner kebab costs less than half and offers more. A real shame.

Disappointing – unfortunately not recommended We are completely dissatisfied with our order. The food arrived cold and was poorly prepared – neither visually nor tastefully convincing. Instead of the Uludag drink we ordered, Sprite was simply delivered – without any prior consultation. When we called about the incorrect delivery, we were only told upon inquiry that the staff had decided to send Sprite as a replacement because Uludag was no longer in stock. A brief advance notice would have been appreciated. Furthermore, there was no regular doner kebab wrap available on the order page. We therefore inquired by phone, and the staff member said that the "Kıyma Döner" option meant the doner kebab wrap. In the end, however, we were delivered a doner kebab plate. During the telephone exchange, we were accused of having asked for a doner kebab plate, which is simply not true. Conclusion: The price-performance ratio here is completely unacceptable. We are very disappointed and will not order from there again – and we cannot recommend it either.

I had Adana kebab on my plate. The food was excellent, both in terms of quantity and taste! We really enjoyed the atmosphere! We will definitely be back.

We come here from the Netherlands once a month. The food, the service, and the friendly staff are all excellent. The price-performance ratio is also excellent. Well done, guys.

We ate there with a total of three people. The service was very fast and attentive. The ambiance was beautifully decorated with an oriental flair. The fries were very crispy and hot. The food, however, was mediocre. Most dishes weren't hot, such as the rice or the durum bread. It seemed like it wasn't heated up enough or it sat too long before it arrived at our table. The bread served with the sauces at the beginning was okay, but tasted nothing special.

Whenever I come to Germany, especially Duisburg, I always visit this restaurant. They offer a wide variety of delicious Turkish dishes, and the prices are reasonable. Sitting abroad in such a Turkish atmosphere is immediately relaxing. We're from France, and it's rare to find restaurants with this style and ambiance there. Despite the German language barrier, being greeted in Turkish here was a great relief. I also brought my friends, my uncle, and some Turkish businesspeople here; everyone was delighted by this uncomplicated Anatolian atmosphere.

The food was overall decent, and the service was friendly. Unfortunately, the dürüm (doughnut) was cold, which was a bit disappointing. After the first drink, we weren't asked if we wanted a refill—it would have been nice if the waiter asked us more frequently. The portion of fries on the grill plate was quite small, but there was plenty of meat—certainly enough for a big eater. Despite these positive aspects, I personally wouldn't go back.

Four of us ate at the restaurant. Two of us ordered the mixed grill for €25 each. When we were given a reservation, we were surprised by the amount of food, as it was so meager. Considering the value for money, it was hardly worth it. I definitely wouldn't recommend the restaurant. 2.5 stars for the food is more than adequate. For €25, I would have expected much more.

The kelle paça soup was very tasty, and I liked the service and atmosphere, but the kunefe wasn't good; it didn't seem to taste like sorbet. There was another flavor, but it wasn't good.

I went to this branch in Mannheim because I frequented it and knew its quality. However, there's a huge difference. The service is good and fast, but the meat's flavor and cooking are unfortunately poor. Even though the kebabs were burnt, they served them with the unburned parts on top. I appreciate Bursa Kebab House for its quality, but I won't be returning to this branch.

The pachanga pastry gave me an upset stomach. It was the first time I'd ever seen peas put in pachanga pastry. It was also stale. The cheese was also stale. The soup was also tasteless. I had planned to have Iskender kebab, but after that tasteless food, I cancelled it.

We actually wanted to eat there today, but things turned out differently. We sat down, but no one came for 10 minutes. Three more families sat down after us. These families were immediately brought the menu and drinks, unfortunately not! When the menu finally arrived, we chose something and waited forever, but no one came to take our order. We left after seeing others being served and obviously ignored. We won't give this place a second chance.

Unfortunately, they couldn't get the Adana kebab right. The meat literally smelled. But the service and the place weren't bad.

Then, instead of the large portion ordered, they delivered a small one. You only had to pay for that one. And last but not least, no tea was served. The food was okay.

It was one of the first places that came to mind for me when it came to kebabs. Especially the iskender kebab was absolutely perfect: the meat was tender, the butter and sauce balance was great. The place was clean, the service was fast and friendly. The refreshments that came with it were also quite generous. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the famous flavor of Bursa. It is also very successful in terms of price-performance. I will definitely come again!

Yesterday I ate at Bursa Kebab Evi and I am really super satisfied. The food was so delicious - especially the meat was perfectly seasoned and super tender. You can just taste that everything is freshly prepared. The portions are generous and you really get value for your money. The atmosphere in the shop is also very nice: warm, cozy and informal. The staff is friendly and helpful, you immediately feel welcome. I had heard good things about it, but it really exceeded my expectations. This will definitely be a regular place for me. Hello, we came for the first time, the place is great, the staff is great but unfortunately the meat is zero, especially the Adana and lamb meat, the chef should check before putting it on the grill.

The place is nice and the toilets are clean. Two of us had the iskender and iskender special. The iskender was a disappointment for me. The minced meat doner was tasteless and rubbery. The pita underneath was dry and hard. It was similar to iskender but the flavor was very weak. Those who want to fill their stomachs somehow can try it, but if they are coming from far away to eat a nice iskender, I would say don't bother.
