Bursa Kebap Evi in Duisburg

Unfortunately, today's visit didn't live up to my expectations. I've been here several times and usually eat Adana kebab. I didn't like the Adana kebab at all today. One side was cooked through, the underside was white, as if it hadn't been on the grill. The taste was a complete disaster. Unfortunately, it happened on a day when the person in charge of food was turning the Adana kebab on the grill with a blind eye.

We wanted to have breakfast with the family on the weekend and got a table quickly – without having to wait, which was initially very positive. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. We waited about 40 minutes for our food. Even drinks we ordered later, such as tea, arrived very late. It seemed as if there were far too few employees on site, which noticeably impacted the flow. The location itself is really beautiful and has a lot of potential – which made the overall poor service all the more disappointing. It's a shame for the restaurant, because with better organization, the visit could have been much more pleasant.

Waited 1 hour for breakfast despite reservation. Then got up without eating. Didn't even get any tea while waiting.

We waited exactly 45 minutes for your food to arrive, my wife went and made our orders herself, my son went and got his own drink of water, and I don't even want to mention the price we paid for this service. BKE was better when you first opened, but I am not satisfied with the current business. Please pay attention to what we say.

We were here for the third time on April 6th, 2025 and are still very satisfied. The dishes are tasty, although I personally find the beyti (eggplant puree) a little too pureed. Something chunky and natural would be tastier (without cheese or cream). The pommdöner portion was a little too small, everything else was perfectly fine. One star deducted for the ambience because the tables are too close together and it's a bit narrow.

Went there for breakfast, which was delicious. Everything was fresh and the bread (pide) was always served warm. The service was also very friendly. Will soon be going there during the day for lunch or dinner.

During my visit to Germany I had dinner at Bursa Kebap Evi and it was a great experience! The food was super fresh and full of flavor - especially the döner and the Adana kebab are highly recommended. The portions were generous and the service friendly and fast. You notice that they pay attention to quality here. Definitely a place I will come back to!

I got a mixed grill plate for one person for around €25. It tasted very tasty but the portion was far too small for €25. Wasn't full. The Ayran that I got with it tasted very good. The food was served in a very heavy cutting board. Alone without eating. It is impossible to lift it up and pass it to the service employee with one hand. It is very large, bulky and far too heavy. The tables are much too small, too narrow Hardly any space. We had to squeeze in so that everyone had a place.

We were there for the second time and the meat was cold both times - a year between them, mind you! We were there last week to break our fast and my meat was cold again. Conclusion: Quality has deteriorated extremely, no longer recommended.

I went to Bursa Kebap Evi for Iftar with my children and their friends. The restaurant was busy, which is of course understandable, but unfortunately the staff seemed quite hectic. An example: The bulgur was served to us 20 minutes before Iftar - and then cold. When I later asked the waitress if she could warm it up again, she was annoyed. Things didn't go quite smoothly with our order either. Two dishes arrived wrong and the kofta were extremely greasy. The fries tasted really good. Overall, the service could have been more attentive, a little more thoroughness and a smile would have significantly improved the atmosphere.

All of us ate Iskender and unfortunately the amount of meat on the dish was so small that it was really disappointing - especially considering it costs almost €20. What also really bothered us was that when we asked about changing clothes for our baby, we were told that this was only possible in the hallway near the toilets. I find it inappropriate to completely change my baby in the hallway where he is visible to everyone. In addition, no warm water flows from the taps! Unfortunately that was our last time eating here.
