A great ambience that is only surpassed by the outstanding meat. The beautiful terrace with a view of Wittenbergplatz and the KaDeWe deserves special mention.

Poor service, blaming guests for their own mistakes but the food was great. The service simply lacks professionalism. If the service is in a bad mood, the guest feels it. There is discussion with the guest, there are stupid answers and there is no need to even expect an insight into mistakes or a decision. Hopefully the chef isn't treated so badly as well, because the food is the only positive thing about this restaurant.

Even of they had lot of work and they were so busy they gave us table direkt. We were 2 times there. People with humor, good mood, helpful. The food was a 5* !!! My daughter got some small toys to spend her time until the food come. Big variety of wines. I recommend!!!

We didn’t book but the staff managed to find us a table. The food was amazing. Good quality ingredients which were cooked well. Good service too.

We really can't fault the flavour and quality of the food, really tasty steaks and sides, and the one staff member we dealt with seemed nice enough, but overall service, speed and ambience was terrible, particularly for the price. We waited over an hour for 2 steaks and a salad, and the food was cold when it arrived. On arrival we weren't offered a wine menu and had to chase this, and we were not warned about any kitchen delay nor were we offered anything to tide us over. The ambience was also a bit off, the lighting is a stark and the atmosphere isn't quite what we had expected from a classic American style steakhouse.

Had a great evening at a networking event at Grill Royal and can only recommend the place. The team is very attentive, drinks and food are excellent.

We always go there...the food is great and to the point

They used to always be at peace. Unfortunately, austerity measures are noticeable. No more salad, no bread, no more nightcaps, 10/19/24 We ate very well. Great lamb plates, lamb pan and rump steak, meat was super tender and on point. I had a Coconut Kiss cocktail non-alcoholic. Highly recommended. Extremely nice staff as always. Mom didn't get everything done and got it packed up. Thank you very much.
