We went there on a Sunday evening with a small group just 1 hour before closing but they prepared our food quickly and served us with great joy and grace.

I visited this place on a Thursday around 6 p.m. Surprisingly I still found a place! The service is very attentive! As usual, the food at Blockhaus is very good! Since it was quite full, it was correspondingly loud.

We ate very good spaghetti bolognese and carbonara there. Beautiful restaurant and very attentive staff.

One of the best places to eat steak in Berlin. The house wine is an amazing Merlot.

Best Steak I ate since a long time...and the side dishes are perfect as well. Don't give up the Spinach!

It is always well attended here, but yesterday it was particularly busy with queues outside. Quick actions from the hostess and you were really recognized in your presence. Despite the long queue, handled quickly. Hadi was our waiter and what a wonderful, sweet guy he is! Compliments. Always super tasty food here. Never disappointed. We come back here as standard when we are in Berlin (7 times now).

Brilliant food and service. Marko served us and directed us to the menu for English speakers. The food was really good, not huge amount for vegetarians but as it's a steak restaurant that's what we expected! The Block Burger was brilliant and the steaks were very very good. Puddings also delicious!

It was very busy, but the service was fast and good. I would not recommend the carpaccio starter. It was very tasteless and watery. The steak was perfectly rare and medium for my partner. Wonderfully juicy and lots of flavor. I don't like the fat edge myself, so I left it out. The baked potato with creme fraiche was delicious and for dessert I definitely recommend the apple strudel with an extra scoop of walnut ice cream.

Quality of the food was very good, the atmosphere was good and the service was very nice. The prices are now, like everywhere else, outrageously and exorbitantly high (80-100% more expensive than they were a few years ago!). If I hadn't been invited, I would have left the restaurant on my feet.

A restaurant that many recommend, so we jumped in to visit. We ordered a cheeseburger and their recommended house steak. The steak comes with a salad and a potato in a cream sauce, but it was dry. The hamburger is good and served on house bread (garlic bread) and not in a bun.

It's rustically furnished, it's a shame that you can't put together your own salad from the buffet, because we had two different versions and some with more dressing than salad. The meat was tasty and the rest was fine too. For the price-performance ratio it's okay

Block House is a place where I found myself alive when I returned to Germany - Berlin after more than 30 years. I can't really remember when I enjoyed such a nice taste of food and drink. The whole service was on a great level. Thank you Block Hous and the staff too who served me and my wife too. The atmosphere is a real deal too especially at night, when the street lights go on and the shadows come to live. I love this place and will remember till the end of my life. I also will come back whenever I'm in Berlin again. See you soon friends and have a big greetings from Chris from Serbia.

We went on the first day of our Berlin trip. The fact that they cared so much about children won our hearts. The taste of the meat was great. I recommend it both in terms of taste and as a place to go with children.

Too loud, cannot be pre-ordered. I went there with my girlfriend twice within 6 months and both times we had real gastrointestinal problems afterwards. We won't risk it there a third time, sorry Addendum: Thank you for the answer from the owner, unfortunately I didn't hear it. The atmosphere and service are very good. But quite disappointed with the dishes, especially the New York hamburger, it doesn't really make you want it on the plate and I really didn't like the meat. The strudel was good.

The food is excellent. I recommend the rump steak. Price-performance is tip top.

The food, the steaks were absolutely delicious, 100% freshly prepared, fried to perfection, very attentive, friendly staff, every little extra request was fulfilled - that was pure service, the kind you would want as a guest. Let's start tangible food, the prices are very expensive with very small portions, the grams of meat written in the catalog are not even close to the reality, the meats are ok, neither good nor bad. The salads tasteless. Nevertheless, the service was very good, especially Temu who served us flawlessly. A shop like a place, ok, it would give you a Cyrillic fast food. I would not recommend it, especially if you are from Greece and you are used to eating quality food,…

For us, going out to eat at the Block House means coming home a little bit. The atmosphere is just Berlin. During our last visit we had excellent service that implemented our wishes to the letter and couldn't be beaten in terms of friendliness. We felt very comfortable. Thanks for that.

Yesterday I was able to celebrate my birthday in this great restaurant and “celebrate” is absolutely the right word. I was there with my dearest and best friends and our wishes were read from our eyes. The food was fantastic, I have never eaten so well, the service was indescribable and the entire atmosphere was so wonderfully cozy. A recommendation for every good palate and also for every budget. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and thanks to the whole team :*

Decent food as in many of their restaurants, specialties based on pork/pork, very good service, remember that they really appreciate tipping, something we are not used to in Italy, prices comparable to any large European city, 8 people with 1 dish per head drink and some appetizers some had coffee we spent €420.

Booked this based on the good reviews in preference to the other nearby steak restaurant , and I’m so glad we did. It’s old fashioned looking but service and food are excellent with reasonable prices. I had the filet mignon, husband had the ribeye and son had the t-bone. We even managed desserts. I wish I had ordered a sauce for my steak, but other than that everything was so good, including the starter salad and the baked potato with sour cream. Would highly recommend.

Oh my gosh was it worth the wait. When we got there at 6pm the que was out the door but we decided to stick it out and boy was it worth it. Food, service and atmosphere was amazing. The que remained out the door and to the street the entire time we were there till when we left 9pm!

When asked if the vegetables that accompanied the dish were cooked, they replied yes. I received a kilo of salad and raw tomatoes that I CANNOT eat. Terrible service

Their meat was very delicious. They gave us champagne as a treat on New Year's Eve, which was very nice. Salads are also very delicious, especially their dressings. The employees were also very good. It is definitely recommended.

The food was really good and delicious! The meat was exactly how we wanted it, I medium rare and my husband well done. My husband and I found the whole atmosphere great and very pleasant. Betty (waitress) was super personable and she fulfilled all of our wishes (we really had a lot, haha) There should be a lot more waitresses like Betty! :-)

All the employees were super nice at all times even though it was very busy and hectic. The food was very tasty and the portion was completely enough to fill you up. This means that the prices for quantity and quality are absolutely appropriate.

Pleasant seating areas, could perhaps do with a little renovation. Unfortunately, the locations are not always in the condition one would expect for such a restoration. It's a shame, then that has been clouding the overall impression for some time. Otherwise always worth a visit.

From what I know it's a bit of a touristy place, but absolutely worth checking out I tried the masterpiece stake (or whatever it's called) and I don't like steak - was still great. The burger is good but I'd go for the regular one because the cheese wasn't for me. Both the chocolate lava cake and ice cream were wonderful - highly recommend

Five stars are actually not enough! We, the Quedlinburgers, were at the Blockhaus in Berlin today and are absolutely thrilled! The food was amazing - tender meat, super tasty side dishes and the homemade mayonnaise were a real highlight. You can tell that the cooking here is done with a lot of love! The entire team impressed with their warmth, and especially Nico 🥰, our waiter for the evening, looked after us excellently. The atmosphere among the employees was great and we felt completely comfortable. Thank you for this unforgettable evening – we will definitely be back!

As a single guest, I received excellent care and support from the service ladies. Ashtray and super space at the bar included. 5 stars and I would like to come back.

Quality of the steak was good. Not outstanding quality, could have hung a little longer and didn't have an overly intense beef taste (the large fillet was). Ordered medium rare and received medium rare. All in all, a nice evening. But don't expect the best steak you've ever eaten :)
