Tasty food and explant service very friendly

Amazing experience.. the Norwegian Salmon was sublime! Markus was a lovely host at our table! 10/10 food and hospitality.

Everyone has different feelings, but my family and friends like to meet at this restaurant.

It was very good. Food arrived quickly and tasty and the service was excellent too!

Al termine di una lunga passeggiata, abbiamo deciso di fermarci a mangiare qualcosa di informale, ma anziché i soliti fast food abbiamo optato per questa steakhouse. E siamo rimasti soddisfatti sia da servizio, che dalla qualità del cibo consumato, che dal rapporto qualità/prezzo: Un'ottima alternativa alle note grandi catene.

Goede service, aardige mensen in de bediening. Eten was prima, smaakte uit de kunst. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding ook prima.

Been there twice now and it was very good twice. The first time I had a sirloin steak (medium rare) with fries and coleslaw, plus a non-alcoholic wheat dish. Meat was very good and so was the side dish. Price was reasonable. On the second visit we had a Mr rump steak with a baked potato. This time too it was medium and tasted very good. Service was great, we were often asked if everything was still ok.

The restaurant is very attractive and we had lunch there for three days. The value for money is excellent and the food is very tasty. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

OMG - this was the best steak (ribeye) I can recall having. Chicken was delicious as well. Outstanding food and great service. Price was reasonable (at least from my U.S. perspective). Highly recommended!

I have never been disappointed by the restaurants of this chain; in whatever city they are found the meat is always excellent and this one in Berlin is no exception; excellent service despite the many customers; central location; I recommend it.

The dishes were kept very simple. Unfortunately the noodles were too soft. Nevertheless, it was tasty, and as a non-steak eater I was happy that there was something on the menu for me too. So it makes sense to definitely go there to eat the steaks they are known for.

Best steak for cheap-ish in Berlin. Must go! We go once every couple weeks. Medium rare ribeye is to die for.

Ok so we only went as I get Credit on my Amex card on this so it is free. Food was excellent, very simple concept. Steaks came as ordered and of great quality. Our waiter was so nice. Some of the best service we had in Berlin. The madman that attacked the staff as we were leaving didn’t seem so keen to attack me. Just a random drunk off the street. Staff dealt with with far more kindness than I nearly did. S

Visiting here from the States tried Block House and was blown away amazing food,fast service and people working here are very nice I would highly recommend coming here to eat.

Food was OK. It was better back then but things are getting worse. The T-bone steak was a bit too well done even though we ordered medium. What didn't work at all was the service. If we could, we would give 0 stars. Rude and disapproving attitude.

Maybe unlucky, because the food is usually better at Block House. My entrecote was ordered Medium Rare but it was definitely well done without any pink or red. The garlic bread, however, is very good and here you understand that garlic bread should be a light snack. Costs 1.10 EUR instead of the hair-raising 80-90 SEK you often find in Sweden.

Get a place in the outdoor area. Our service was very nice and attentive. We also had the same impression from the other service staff. Despite the catering system, we had great meat. All dishes very good.

Most efficient high quality steak I have ever eaten during lunch - The lunch deal is priced fairly and absolutely worth checking out. Waiter was extremely helpful anf friendly.

Great and very thoughtful meal with the in-laws for their 60th wedding anniversary. The service was so nice and took great care of us. Only the photo needs improvement. But that's not worth mentioning. Highly recommended, even for Berliners!

Rather expensive for a relatively small portion with a small steak of 180g and rather poor meat quality. Tough and stringy despite being medium rare. Service was very nice. Fries were "McDonalds fries. Sorry, we didn't get full. The bruscetta was very good.

Starting with the location. Nice and comfortable, with little background noise. Very friendly and efficient employees. Very tasty and well prepared food. I ate a rump steak, with some mayonnaise salad and fries, very thin and without oil, and a slice of garlic bread was also very tasty. I could just pay a little more attention to the presentation of the dish. Accompany the meal with a weins beer. Apple Sttrudel dessert with vanilla ice cream. In conclusion, it was a good experience. Repeated. P.S. Here, giving the customer a glass of water is an exception, something to review in the restaurant's policy.

Overall disappointing. It was advertised to me as the restaurant (I had a burger) and I'm still TOTALLY disappointed a day later. Even burger king is better. The bread was delicious. But maybe I expected too much. I'm really very sad that I wasted an evening on this. It was the first and last time in this restaurant chain. I'm not mad, just sad!!!

Dinner at the Block House was a good decision. I ordered a medium American tenderloin 250g. The meat with the herb butter was very juicy and tasted a treat for the palate. The potato served with it was also very tasty. The goulash soup was well seasoned and tasted quite good. We drank a delicious red wine with it.

The food is not tasty, bland. Service at the same level.

Normann Roadrunner WM 99 was good, the food was surprisingly bad and the portions were small. Right on the main street.

Today we had dinner at the Blockhaus at Alexanderplatz with a group of twelve people and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. While the food was excellent as always, our visit was marred by extremely rude service (a lady). A situation was particularly unpleasant when we wanted to order a burger for our son without any side dishes. The waitress responded with the inappropriate remark that this wasn't a McDonald's - and repeated this twice. This remark was not only rude, but also completely inappropriate. The employee was grumpy and disrespectful throughout our stay, which made our visit very unpleasant. We therefore only rate the Blockhaus 2 out of 5 stars: two points for the excellent food, but the remaining points are deducted because of the poor service. We will avoid this branch in the future due to the poor service.

Very, very tasty, we had a great waitress. The fitness plate was great and was eaten too quickly to take a photo. 🤣 And bruschetta as a starter, that was also great.

We have been coming to Berlin and the Blockhouse several times a year since 2018. Unfortunately it was a failure for the first time today. The quality of the meat was very poor and not edible. The pepper sauce that day was also not watery as usual. The waitress tried very hard to look after us and also apologized. There was ice cream and espresso on the house. Afterwards we went to Maredo.

Worst restaurant in Berlin The food was just terrible, they brought out just cold meat (which then, after the remark, they simply heated up in the microwave) it became tough and tasteless The second course was onion soup, it was even worse than meat Rude waitress. Bottom line, I can't recommend this place to visit at all.

Unfortunately the service was a little strange today. Sauces are only brought to the table once you have finished eating. Since we paid individually, the waitress became rude and threw the change on the table, even though she got a tip from the first person to pay. Deliberately bumped into me as if I were still there. Absolutely outrageous what you now experience as a guest here. Unfortunately, this branch is declining from week to week. We were here at least once a week. Not anymore.

The BlockHouse is always a good address. The dishes taste excellent and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. If you don't necessarily have to eat a filter steak, a skirt steak is also great. It's worth spending a little more money every now and then for a good meal.

We consume beer with snack. Everything is very good.

Burger was cold, but it might be supposed to be? Good fries and sandwiches.

Anni was amazing and looked after us from start to finish. Food was great and it's the best place we've tried so far in Berlin.

Unfortunately the steak wasn't on point! Ordered medium and got a piece that was completely cooked through! Second attempt: the steak was raw! Service was great, steak as I said not good.

My wife and I and our friends went to the Block House restaurant for our evening meal. The meal was delicious, the service was 100% and the ambience was second to none. If you were lucky enough to have Anni as your waitress, as we were, you had hit the jackpot. She was absolutely perfect. Friendly and efficient. When we are back in Berlin we will definitely return to Block House. The best meal we've had in Berlin. Thank you Anni for a great night. Needless to say I highly recommend Block House restaurant. Great value for money.

The prices were higher because of the quality of the meat. But the taste was perfect and the waiters were all nice.

The food was delicious, except that they only put a little sour cream on the potatoes. Far too little, the baked potatoes were super dry as a result. When we asked that we would always get extra SourCream, they simply ignored it. Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. None of the 8 waiters felt called to come to our table so that we could pay. The service was better.

Very good cuisine and THE waitress in town. Top-class service, appropriate to the addressee, attentive, not intrusive - worthy of a textbook.

We were seated politely, but were able to express our wishes. No problem! The service is top, polite, friendly and accommodating. The food, “Mister Rumpsteak” and the “Hipsteak” were great. It was no problem at all to swap the inserts. Even during the meal, the service was attentive, saw that my sauce had been eaten and immediately brought a new bowl. I can only recommend the Begische waffle for dessert. The coffee was also really good. Conclusion: clear recommendation, the food and service are really top. Although there were a lot of guests and the service was spotty, everyone was friendly and attentive. A young employee, Timo, was very charming. Thanks!
