The real thing, beef, good but not well grilled, Herford ribeye.

Service responded to information. It was full but everything went relatively quickly.

For the first time in 20 years, I'm totally disappointed with the steak I ordered at the Blockhaus in Zehlendorf. The (medium) steak I ordered was still almost raw when it came to the table and after my complaint it was medium rare in the middle. However, it tasted burnt from the outside. Since my table was already reserved for the next guests, unfortunately there wasn't enough time to order a new steak. In the end I went home without eating a steak. Very disappointing!!

We have been to many Blockhaus branches, but we liked it here the best. The service was outstanding and the food was very, very good. The prices are okay and have even been reduced. We felt completely at home and were quickly shown a table even without a reservation. Our waiter was very, very accommodating. Funny and did his job very well. For us it's one of the best branches we've come across so far.

My favorite blockhouse. In summer you can sit comfortably on the terrace. The food is consistently good every time, is served quickly and the staff is super friendly. Always happy.

You should make a reservation on weekend evenings, we were lucky and only had to wait 5 minutes. We treated ourselves to the beef fillet, it was great, the staff was very attentive. The time between ordering and delivery was pleasantly short. This was definitely not our last visit.

Great restaurant with great service and good food

The restaurant has a very nice beer garden. Service is friendly. But: Monday, 7 p.m., approx. 35% of tables are occupied. I wanted to eat a quick steak outside and keep driving. I only ordered a fillet steak and a drink. I have about 40 minutes for my order!!! waited!! It's a mystery to me why it took so long to serve a normal steak in a steakhouse!?!

“Thank you very much for our great waiter Sandro. He was so nice and friendly and I give him 5 stars! But the food was also very tasty.” (Quote from our 7-year-old son.) We parents also say thank you! As always, the food was good and Sandro looked after us very well. (Sorry last name not known)

Quality, service and ambience are great. Of course, this is also system catering. So my rating and expectations are aimed at that and not at “normal” restaurants. But it actually doesn't feel like a system restaurant but more like a nice little steakhouse around the corner.

I have enjoyed staying at the Block House numerous times over the last forty years - today, August 31st, it was simply bad. The bread was never fresh (reordered several times). The (first) steak wasn't cooked at all as ordered. The second steak I ordered smelled and tasted rotten!!! Foodless Saturday evening. There was no apology from the restaurant manager and there was no response other than a “beer on the house”. Something like this was previously unthinkable in the Block House.

usually over-run, especially in the evenings and in the outside area / beergarden. the atmosphere may not be for everyone. the food is decent, not exceptional, but comes at a considerable price. the value for money just does not seem right.

Was here today, the steak was too bloody, I couldn't eat it even though we wanted medium plus, the service was very friendly, but also overwhelmed and had forgotten something, it was busy and the service that came to the table had to have the salad Apply it yourself to a plate at a salad buffet and this creates a canteen feeling and stress. At least that's how it was with us. It may not have been our day.

The specialty of this restaurant, which is part of a chain, are meat dishes. I liked the open atmosphere with awnings. Meat quality is very good.

As always, it was a celebration to enjoy the delicious steaks. Grilled to perfection medium. The service came quickly and friendly with the menu, the drinks, the salads, the steaks, the dessert and also the bill 😉 As a repeat offender, it wasn't my first time here and it wasn't the last time either.

We were a table of five, with reservations, and got there but waited 45min for the food to arrive, meanwhile people all around us had ordered after us and got their food already and paid. When asked about our food we got different excuses each time. This was very disappointing. We had a reservation for five people and ordered our food as soon as we arrived. It took 45 minutes, and other guests who ordered after us had already received their food and were ready. We asked about our order several times and were given a different excuse each time. It was very disappointing.

We think it's very nice there. Food is very good. The service is always very friendly. We'd love to come back.

Excellent food and very good service. The furniture is a little old, but still comfortable and in good condition. The avocado tartare is highly recommended as a starter. The main courses are of good quality meat and excellent preparation.

Everything was fine and everyone was super friendly… Then the waitress with long brown hair came. (Pigtail) Very pushy because we didn't order dessert and rolled our eyes. Also a hectic kind. At the end of the bill she simply added 10 euros to the tip. Even though I already gave 10 EUR. In the end I paid a tip of 20 euros. Impossible of her.

The food is tasty even if you don't eat meat. There are some good vegetarian dishes.

Block House is always a safe choice, especially for families.

One star for the free dessert. Problems: 1. Got the wrong steak: Master Cut ordered, Hereford served. Requests for an exchange were rejected by the waitress and dessert was offered on the house instead. 2. The steak was barely grilled, more like Königsberger meatballs. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside looks different (see photo). 3. The second dish (the burger) was tasteless and overpriced. 4. All dishes including salad were carelessly prepared, comparable to McDonald's (see photo). 5. I came with my wife to celebrate something. Unfortunately, it felt more like a funeral in a cafeteria. 6. We won't be coming back. Too bad about the money.

So far it's ok In my opinion the prices are too high for the simply “normal” quality. The outside terrace is quite loud, as there is a loud S-Bahn station/traffic right next door

A steakhouse as you would expect from the quality.

I've been there a few times. The service staff are very friendly and professional. When it comes to pricing and portion size, it is noticeable that prices have risen significantly since the VAT increase! The portion size has also been reduced. If we had been more hungry, we would have had to order something else. You can visit, but not as often anymore. There are many alternatives in Zehlendorf that we like a little better!

Unfortunately the outfit is getting old. Steak was still great, but I didn't like the burger interpretation. No real fries or potato wedges available. The “Coles Slaw” with the “burger” is a disgrace

A restaurant that we always treat ourselves to for special occasions. It can be the full program from aperitif to desert. The highlights are the beef fillets with an individual selection of side dishes. Improvement could take place in two areas. The martinis are served in a completely inappropriate glass and you look for the drink in it. Unfortunately, the avocado tartare appetizer arrives at the table ice cold. The service was perfect, we felt comfortable and would like to come back.

Even though it is a chain, the Block House became a favorite restaurant for us for good steaks. The Zehlendorfer Block House in particular has captured our hearts.

Top service in a nice atmosphere. The meal went like this. For almost €40 I expect a significantly better ribeye and that the chef gets the doneness right. The service doesn't get any better.

I'd say - Long time ago I haven't had so tasty steak. Best STEAK / BEEF in the city. The seak was crispy and tender. Block House is professionals in hot barbeque grills! What is important - Food was not cheep but not super expensive! Service was also fast and frendly. You won't forget this evening with best tasty beef (medium) and house wine Merlot :)). We came back one week later because I could forget that tasty taste!

We are excited. Went there for the first time today, but not for the last time. Food was great, service, Binnur, very accommodating. This makes eating out fun. Thank you for the hospitality.

A great place to hang out with family or company. Delicious steak and everything else to go with it. The staff is friendly, and although they serve a lot of people at once, they spend enough time with you.

Our favorite steakhouse for all family occasions. Always excellent in taste. The service team is very nice, very authentic and not intrusive or artificial. Also recommended for families with children, sometimes there is a small gift for the kids, but definitely on their birthday. The terrace is an idyllic place on sunny days. Afterwards, the equally idyllic neighborhood invites you to take a digestive walk. We always enjoy checking back.

The burger was served very unusually on the plate, in my case in combination with vegetables (which was also what I ordered). But it was totally delicious

Whoever Block House gets what you expect. Delicious meat, classic Block House side dishes. Our favorite branch because there is a very nice beer garden that can be used in summer.

First we are greeted unfriendly by the head of staff, then we have to wait until a table is free and we are told we can have a drink while we do, but no waitress/waiter comes to order. Then we wait 50 minutes for our piece of meat after the stomach muscle has closed again

You can't go wrong at the Block House, rustic atmosphere, honest steak selection, always good 👍 Unfortunately, the prices are no longer in line with citizens, also a consequence of the sales tax increase our beloved traffic lights!!

It has now become a tradition to visit the log cabin with the family on Valentine's Day. As always, the food was very tasty and the staff was very nice.

Average food at a premium price. Not really value for money. The meat was OK, horseradish was old. I would prefer well aged, mature meat. Instead, you get "young beef" which tastes like not too much. But you pay 40 EUR as if it was prime..

Dish of the day: Spinach and mashed potatoes were warmed up in bags in the microwave and carelessly squeezed onto the plate. The "decorative parsley" was distributed on the plate with her fingers by an obviously important employee, leftover food from the check-in counter was flicked onto the floor with the same fingers, we sat right next to it. So we ordered a dish from the normal menu, but it wasn't more than ok. The service was very friendly. Since we rarely eat out, this restaurant will definitely not be one of our favorites.

As always. The best steaks. Far and wide. But it has become quite expensive. Mrs. Rump steak 180 g = €25.00.

Went in without a reservation and got a table straight away. Steak is their craft, very good meat, grilled to perfection. Very nice and courteous service. See you next time!

Great branch in Zehlendorf. Service is top and you will also be advised if you want a larger steak. Steak tartare and fr. I can only recommend onion soup as a starter!!

It is advisable to book a table in advance on Sundays. The staff is very friendly. The prices have been raised significantly (like everywhere in the catering industry).

In fact, I'm very disappointed. If you order a burger you get the meatball individually with a small half of a baguette. When I order a burger I actually expect to get one. In itself it was delicious.

Von 18h00 bis 23h00. Es war voll. Wir hatten nicht reserviert. Dennoch fühlte ich mich von den Kellnern sofort wahrgenommen. Wir konnten uns sehr gut am Tisch ungestört miteinander unterhalten. Manche von uns brauchten für die Auswahl aus der Karte etwas länger. Es gab von unserer Kellnerin nur freundliche Kommentare. Ich erwartete ein sehr gutes und sehr leckeres Essen. Meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Der Abend war jeden Cent wert.

Ob Vorort oder zum mitnehmen, es ist ein Besuch wert. Es liegt zentral zum Bus, der S-Bahn oder zu einem Parkplatz in der Nähe. Der Parkplatz ist kostenfrei, kann zur Stoßzeit jedoch komplett belegt sein. Strebt man einen Termin Vorort an, so bedarf es in der Regel einer Reservierung (sofern man nicht warten möchte). Zum mitnehmen: Man kann sich telefonisch Sachen zum abholen bestellen oder Vorort zum mitnehmen bestellen. Am Telefon wird ein genaues Zeitfenster benannt, sodass man sehr gut planen kann. Das Essen wird sehr gut verpackt. Vortort: Es wartet ein schönes Ambiente beim Besuch. Der WC-Raum ist sauber. Die Bedienung ist nett, zuvorkommend und beratet bei Bedarf. "Sonderwünsche" sind in der Regel kein Problem (z. B. der Wechsel von der Beilage). Das Essen wird schön angerichtet und schmeckt sehr gut. Gehe dort öfter hin. Hinweis zu den Bildern: Die Bilder / Video mit der roten Tischdecke sind Vorort und die anderen sind das Endprojekt vom zum mitnehmen. Auf jeden Falle eine Empfehlung.
