Consistently high quality for what feels like half a century! If you look at the negative reviews, you'll feel sick. If you can't afford it and then have excessive expectations, you should just stay at home.

Cozy rustic atmosphere. The service is extremely good, friendly and attentive. The fillet steak was fried to perfection, unfortunately the prawn pan for €28 was a failure. 5 shrimps in The taste of a watery sauce cannot be compared to croquettes. Conclusion: always happy to eat steak, which is really recommended here.

We have been coming to Asado for years, and the restaurant consistently maintains its high standards of food and service! The meat is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The blonde waitress, who has been working here for many years, is exceptionally polite, friendly, and positive. I wish there were more waitresses and waiters like her in Berlin!

Here's my edit: for two you'll probably spend €80. I don't understand why the valuation keeps "jumping back" to a lower amount. => Excellent meat! Rarely if not never eaten better steak. Also tops is the log cabin, which also serves very good meat in 95% of cases. For years I have regularly eaten fillet steak at Asado with only herb butter and a boiled potato, sometimes an ear of corn. In the last 5 years, I remember having one that wasn't grilled to medium rare as desired, but rather overcooked. They prepared a new one for me without any problem. The decorations on the plate - a leaf of lettuce here, a dollop of sauce there - are not my thing, but they don't deduct any points. The facility appears to have been the same since 1970, e.g. For example, lamps hanging too low above the table can now probably be described as iconic again, overall a bit dark and stuffy. Lately I've found the service a bit dreamy, even when the store is empty. Slow dawdling, even the food is handed over in slow motion. For me, however, a steakhouse doesn't depend on lamps or anything like that, but rather on the quality of the meat. Terrace very comfortable. Highly recommended!

I have been visiting the house for over 30 years. It's just as good as the first visit. Great quality and just an absolutely great staff. Where can you still find this today??? Definitely here. Thanks to ASADO.

The meat (rump steak) medium was, as always, super tasty. The beans were first late and then not warm enough. Unfortunately, the Asado's ambience is already getting old. Too dark and a bit dusty.

Went to the Asado Steakhouse and I have to say that we were all very satisfied! We immediately felt at home in the restaurant. It is appropriately furnished and both the restaurant itself and the toilets were very clean. The waiters are very nice and attentive, small special requests are catered for without any problems :-) But now about the food: We had bruschetta for starters, a grill pan, a filet and lots of side dishes for the main course. The dishes came quickly and we enjoyed them very much. We also ordered dessert - it also arrived quickly and was really tasty! We find the selection of dishes to be very good. I really liked the fact that in addition to complete dishes, you could also order individual side dishes and sauces. Definitely coming back :-)

We had dinner at the ASADO Steakhouse last night and absolutely loved it! The arrival was pleasant - the parking situation is ideal. There is enough parking space right in front of the restaurant, so you don't have to worry about this point. Now to the most important thing: the food was first class! I had a fillet steak with fries and it was simply phenomenal. I would particularly like to highlight the garlic sauce - you shouldn't miss it. She took the already perfect steak to a new level. But what really made the evening special was the service. All the waiters were incredibly cheerful, friendly and warm - it was a real pleasure! The positive and infectious vibe made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Unfortunately, service like this is far too rare these days. It impressed us very much. Conclusion: An absolutely recommendable steakhouse with outstanding food and service that is really fun. We'll definitely be back! Tiny side note: Although it is a steakhouse, the range of vegetarian alternatives (for the "one" vegetarian in the group) could be a little larger... 😉

Food very good, otherwise mediocre

We are very happy with the food and staff was very friendly. Ribs, rumpsteak and Hamburger was delicious. Atmosphere is nice in both outside and inside the restaurant. The only suggestion would be for tomatoes salad, if they have sliced tomatoes and onions thinner it would be better in my opinion. Overall I recommend here to anyone.

We've been coming here for a long time and have always been satisfied. However, we were really disappointed on our last visit. Overall, the food was very greasy and not very tasty. The cream on the ice cream parlor was sour and it was also expensive. That day the price performance and quality really wasn't right, sorry.

We were there for the first time. We've always had good experiences with Asado in Lower Saxony, in contrast to here. Completely bored employee. All sauces only tasted like mayonaise. Even the house dressing, which is supposedly made with yogurt, only tasted like mayo! There isn't even homemade bread, just cheap white baguette! I haven't eaten so badly in a long time! A pity!

Gut, ich bin sehr wahrscheinlich überpenibel, jedoch erwarte ich mir, dass auf dem Wasserhahn im Damen-WC keine Kalkrückstände sind und dass der Warmwasserbereiter, der gleich neben dem Waschbecken angebracht ist, keine Schmutzrückstände, die sich offensichtlich schon seit geraumer Zeit dort befinden,aufweist . Auch die Lampe über unserem Tisch was ich normalerweise nicht „prüfe“, was mich aber nach der Erfahrung am WC „gejuckt“ hat, hätte einer Reinigung bedurft. Vielleicht das entsprechende Personal kontrollieren?

Für ein Steak Haus ist die Qualität des Fleisches nicht gut. Alle drei Sorten Fleisch auf dem Grillteller waren Zeh. Die Bedienung nur unterirdisch. Es wird nicht gefragt wie man das Fleisch gerne hätte. Beim abräumen wird zwar gefragt ob alles OK ist, aber auf unseren Hinweis würde nicht mal reagiert. Teller eingesammelt und weg. Wir haben den Kellner sprachlos hintergeschaut. Also-nie wieder!

Ich bin wirklich sprachlos und habe mir jetzt geschworen NIE wieder eine weitere Chance zu geben. Wir sind wirklich seit mindestens 35 Jahren regelmäßig im Asado. Wir holen uns oft essen. Abgesehen davon das alles weniger und teurer wird (was man ja heutzutage irgendwie akzeptieren muss) haben wir heute zum dritten Mal eine falsche Bestellung bekommen. Aber was am schlimmsten ist, war die Reaktion am Telefon. Sarkastisch und ignorant. Vor ein paar Monaten haben wir zu Hause festgestellt das die Soße für die Rippchen gefehlt hat. Kann passieren. Ärgerlich, da es das ist was so lecker für meine Mutter war und weswegen sie die Rippchen bestellt. Also ist sie nochmal 10min zurück gefahren um diese zu holen. Da wurde nichts als Gutmachung angeboten und das Essen war kalt. Kann ja mal passieren. Beim nächsten Mal haben 2 Backkartoffeln gefehlt. Wir haben dann angerufen und gesagt das wir sie gerne hätten, aber nicht alles andere kalt lassen werden wollen. Auch da kein Angebot und eine genervte Reaktion.Es wurde gesagt sie liefern uns die 2 Kartoffeln. 1 Stunde später kamen diese dann. Gut- letzte Woche eine Bestellung mit einer jüngeren Dame der ich das auch erzählt hatte. Wir haben dann gemeinsam die Tüte gecheckt und es war alles da und auch ok. Heute - eine halbe Portion Rippchen, ein Minifilet mit Kartoffel mit der Bitte, das Fleisch bitte sehr gut durch zu braten - „wie Schuhsohlen, kein rosa“-genau mit diesen Worten. Nach erneutem Tüten checken ob alles da ist kommen wir nach Hause und das Filet ist blutig, die Rippchen hell ohne die normale leckere braune Marinade. €47.10 , ich habe dann angerufen und das angesprochen. Reaktion war - ja wir sind sehr voll heute, man würde mit der Person nochmal unter 4 Augen sprechen. Ich habe dann gesagt das uns das nun auch nicht hilft und das das nun das dritte Mal ist. Worauf hin mir gesagt wurde ich bräuchte mich nicht zu wiederholen und ich solle noch einen schönen Abend haben. 35 Jahre Stammgast. Na klar können Dinge schief gehen aber so oft , ohne jemals irgendeine Kompensation und dann so abgespeist zu werden. So teuer und so eine unglaubliche Reaktion. Schade. Aber das war es. Nicht nochmal.

Actually, it was always very pleasant here. My wife and I always had very good memories of the Asado, but this time was really not great. My wife ordered steak, between medium and English. The steak was well browned on the outside, but still completely raw on the inside. I may be wrong, but Asado is a steakhouse, so you should know that. I only took garlic bread and bruschetta, which wasn't particularly tasty either. The service was attentive and attentive. What we noticed, however, was that the Asado was quite empty for a Saturday at 6 p.m. When we arrived, we were the only guests sitting outside in the sunshine. Everything together with 2 wheat beers was €42.60 Conclusion: We'll probably come back less often!

Easter Monday with the family with 2 small children. It was underground. It started with orders sometimes being taken incorrectly or forgotten. From a Beer became a specialty. One starter became two. And the garlic bread only came when we asked. We once ordered the Cambert. This came (1 Cambert) on a small plate, nothing nicely presented, so it was slapped for €6.70. We continued with a “large” salad with strips of beef fillet for just under €19. Only the tomatoes were big there. Simple iceberg lettuce, a few cucumber slices, corn, that’s it. The meat was ok and the other 2 dishes were ok. Unfortunately the meat was not medium rare as requested, but rather bloody. An absolute disgrace for this price. The garlic bread 8 small thin slices, sparing with the garlic - here too the price is not justified. All in all, the price and performance are not nearly in proportion. The service disinterested. At the end a new waiter came and asked us if everything was ok. After we shared our displeasure, nothing happened. A matter of opinion was said. Quality is not the priority. We weren't full and happy, we just wanted to get out. It's a shame ☹️

My mini fillet steak was perfect, the waiters were super polite, quick and personable and my white wine spritzer was sparkling and in a perfectly polished glass.

My boyfriend and I often eat here, it's always delicious and the waiters are all incredibly nice, especially the young gentleman. We thank you for the great service and the delicious food and are happy to come back again and again. You just feel good here 🙏❤️

Disappointing experience at "retro steakhouse" Unfortunately, my visit to the steakhouse left a negative impression on me and my companion, which affected both the quality of the food and the ambience. The anticipation of an exquisite steak dinner was quickly dampened when the food served did not meet our expectations. To start with, the carpaccio was served unexpectedly thickly sliced, which is already a departure from the norm. But instead of impressing with high-quality seasoning, it was excessively doused with a salad dressing that masked the delicate taste of the meat. This was a disappointing start to the meal for us. The portions in general were smaller than you would expect for the price. The salad in particular contained no more than a small portion of lettuce, radicchio, a tomato and canned corn - a detail that does not meet our standards for a dining experience. The ambience of the restaurant seems unchanged since the 1980s and has a very rustic charm that doesn't fit with a modern steak kitchen. Guests expecting special cuts or innovative preparation will not find what they are looking for here. Another point of criticism concerns the garlic sauce, which dominated both the starter and the main course. For me, such repetition in seasoning lacks creativity and variety in the kitchen. In conclusion, the price-performance ratio is not justified. The quality and presentation of the food as well as the overall experience are disproportionate to the prices quoted. For a restaurant that specializes in steaks, it lacks the care and innovation necessary to provide a truly remarkable dining experience. It is unfortunate that this steakhouse does not meet our expectations and in my opinion needs significant improvement in several areas.

The choice of food was quite large and even though it is a steakhouse, I chose spare ribs. You had to order extra side dishes. Unfortunately the spareribs were a disappointment. They weren't as tender as they should be. Also the glaze on the ribs was just “oh well”. My son, who also ordered spareribs, was of the same opinion. My side dish, green beans with onions and bacon, wasn't a hit as they tasted rather bland. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the fried potatoes either. As far as the grill plate is concerned, you can't imagine a large grill plate 🤔 Even my daughter was unhappy with her cheeseburger. We only liked the desserts such as pancakes and lava cake, although no liquid chocolate flowed out of my lava cake.

We went to dinner with my friend and we didn't like the service. We reserved a table in advance. The waitress served us super late and the place was not full, there were many free tables. They do not have fernet, nor classic Argentine drinks. The waitress, who was very young, did not speak Spanish or English, brought us the wrong drinks and did not change them. The drinks and meals were ordered by my friend who speaks native German. We went to dinner there because we know that Argentine meat is good, but we didn't have a good time because of the poor service we received. I give 3 stars because the food was good.

Nette Bedienung, fragwürdiges Essen! Die Steaks auf dem „Mix-Teller“ waren, bis auf ein winziges Rinderfilet, keins der angegebenen Steaks. Anstatt Lammfilet wurde ein Hüftsteak und anstatt Schweinefilet ein von Sehnen durchzogenes Nackenfleisch serviert. Ich bin entsetzt von der schlechten Qualität! Besseres gibts anderswo in Zehlendorf.

Lecker Essen und nette Bedienung

Ein sehr gut geführtes Steakhaus mit sehr guten Gerichten. Zu empfehlen ist die rote Sauce die wunderbar zum Fleisch, zum Brot und auch zur Backkartoffeln passt. Leider habe ich das Rezept in den letzten 30 Jahren immer noch nicht herausgefunden.

Sehr leckeres Essen, zu fairen Preisen. Ich fand es toll, dass es auch kleinere Portion zur Auswahl gab. Das Ministeak mit Folienkartoffel war eine völlig sättigende Hauptspeise.

Wir sind regelmäßig dort, es ist immer sehr lecker. Man wird immer schnell und sehr freundlich bedient, es fühlt sich ab Minute 1 familiar an. Nun zum Essen alles was wir bis jetzt ausprobiert haben war sehr lecker, dass Fleisch kommt immer auf den Punkt gegart und ist sehr zart. Der Preis ist wirklich sehr gut für die gelieferte Qualität (nicht zu günstig nicht überteuert). Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch :)

Unser Essen war durchgehend sehr gut und lecker! Wir waren eine größere Gruppe und haben uns einmal durch die Karte gefuttert: Über Rippchen, wo sich das Fleisch sehr leicht vom Knochen löste und Burger mit leckeren Pommes, sowie Salaten bis hin zum Rinderfilet mit Kroketten und Bohnen wurde alles verputzt. 😋 Leider ist das Ambiente etwas altbacken.. die Einrichtung ist eher dunkel gehalten, die Tische sind eng angeordnet. 🤷‍♂️ Die Toiletten sind stark renovierungsbedürftig!
