We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and it was simply perfect! The food was incredibly delicious, the atmosphere really cool, and the service was super attentive and friendly. Looking back, the evening is something we'll never forget – you could tell everyone had really put in the effort. Highly recommended!

For steak lovers, this is an absolute must-visit. The quality and preparation are truly excellent. The value for money is also very good. The service is attentive and ensures a wonderful evening. The ambiance is quite pleasant, though it could perhaps be modernized a bit.

While on an extended stay from Boston on business, a colleague recommended the Brooklyn. And i must say that it far exceeded my expectations. The steak was fantastic. And the service was first rate. I would highly recommend this very fine restaurant.

My evening at this steakhouse was impressive from the very first moment. The staff demonstrated an exceptional blend of professionalism, charm, and genuine hospitality. Every request was fulfilled promptly and with a smile – I felt in good hands. The steak was excellently prepared: perfectly seared on the outside, juicy on the inside, and cooked to just the right degree. The ambiance, with its warm, stylish atmosphere, also contributed to an all-around pleasant experience. A restaurant that combines quality and service at the highest level. Definitely a place you'll want to return to!

After a long time, here we are again...but this is the last time. The picture shows the rest of the Châteaubriand. It should have been medium-well, more like well done...it was probably too fresh, or it retained too much water when frozen. Now it's a regular steakhouse, with only overpriced prices. Unfortunately, little remains of the original idea. An 800-degree oven and excellent service are history. Our waiter can't be blamed for this; the other one contributed to the review. What a shame ☹️

Best fresh cheesecakes you can get in Berlin! So worth it. Service is very kind and respectful. Steak is cooked perfectly, great atmosphere feels very homey yet professional. The chef is very down to earth and talks and laughs a lot with costumers. Very very recommended. You won't be dissapointed!

Jenny opted for the Wagyu steak, originally imported from Japan – a piece of meat that melts in your mouth and is truly worth every penny. Both dishes were a culinary experience you won't soon forget. The service was also outstanding – attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate. The ambiance, the aroma, the music, the lighting – everything was just right. For us, it was much more than just dinner. It was a shared moment that brought us closer together – full of warmth, laughter, good conversation, and pure enjoyment. For me, The Brooklyn isn't a restaurant, but a place where taste, atmosphere, and heart blend into one. A true highlight in Berlin – and for us, an evening we'll remember for a long time.

Under new management, the steakhouse is once again showing off its class. The steak was delicious, perfectly cooked, and juicy, and the American cheesecake was a finely balanced treat to finish the meal. The staff was friendly and very attentive. A wonderful place for anyone who appreciates excellent food and atmosphere.

Terrible, I don't even know where the reviews come from. Service was nice, atmosphere was good, food was terrible. Caesar dressing from the supermarket, everything was somehow unsalted, steak cooked like boiled meat after an hour. I left for the first time in my life because I found it so awful. Maybe for a beer, but certainly not for food.

I went there for the first time yesterday with friends and colleagues, and it was absolutely amazing. I haven't had such a delicious steak in a long time. The staff was super friendly and practically anticipated your every need. If you want to enjoy a truly delicious, haute steak, this is the place to go. The ambiance is also really lovely. I was at The Brooklyn around 7:30 p.m. and can only say it's absolutely recommended. Food: 5/5 The steak was perfectly cooked, of the highest quality, and a true highlight in terms of flavor. Truly a paradise for steak lovers. Service: 5/5 Very attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. Atmosphere: 4/5 Stylish and pleasant, with a New York feel, perhaps a bit livelier, but just right for a relaxed evening. Especially recommended if you want to dine with a small group (3-4 people). I'll definitely be back!

Great steaks, great sides, great service. Exactly what I expect from a upscale steak restaurant, no nonsense and no pretentiousness. I like that the Brooklyn is exactly that. The food is at the center of the experience, and it does not disappoint. Bonus points for a great U.S.A. wine selection, which can be harder to get in Berlin restaurants. I loved Brooklyn Steakhouse a few years ago, so I recommended it to my friends. Unfortunately, this time the experience was disappointing. The service, while attentive and friendly, was very inexperienced. We had to ask for water frequently, and the table was rarely cleared. We ordered a porterhouse and a tomahawk steak, both medium-well, but they came way too raw. After we informed the server and the chef, they seared the meat again, but it came out dry and wasn't replaced. For the price, we expected more. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

I visited the restaurant yesterday. It's several steps down, the atmosphere was good, the service wasn't bad, the beef fillet was good, the appearance of the plate was disappointing... I don't know if I'll go there again...

Very nice restaurant. We had a new year's eve dinner here. Timing was perfect. We ate our starters and steak was served right after it. The stakes were solid and tasty. Mushed potatoes just one another sort of food that should be ordered to try.

If you have an 800 degree grill at home and buy the best meat, then you don't have to go to this restaurant. Located in a basement, small selection, too many side dishes, but the sweet potato fries were the best thing of the evening. Wine? I have no idea, I didn't get a card. I don't have to go there again.

Disappointing Christmas party Initially promising, then unfortunately very disappointing. After 1.5 hours the service dropped off significantly. The main course came, it was announced that “it will take time…” only after another two hours (after the starters) and did not correspond to the desired cooking level. Positive: + Initial service excellent Negative: - Long waiting time for food (cumulative 3 hours) - Incorrect cooking levels on steaks, one was replaced - No staff available to complain about further insufficient cooking levels - No dessert possible because no one came - Difficulty paying, we had to look for the waitress - Full price despite massive defects Staff absences due to illness were only explained later. No advance information. If we had been informed in advance, we would probably have been more understanding. Conclusion: Not recommended. Unacceptable service for the price and occasion. PS: in cold weather the front area is particularly cool, also due to the entrance and constant use.

The Brooklyn is a unique NY style restaurant. Great selection, high quality dishes. A huge selection of whiskey & red wine. The employees are super nice and always polite. The Black Angus fillet steak was on point. Absolutely recommended.

We really can't fault the flavour and quality of the food, really tasty steaks and sides, and the one staff member we dealt with seemed nice enough, but overall service, speed and ambience was terrible, particularly for the price. We waited over an hour for 2 steaks and a salad, and the food was cold when it arrived. On arrival we weren't offered a wine menu and had to chase this, and we were not warned about any kitchen delay nor were we offered anything to tide us over. The ambience was also a bit off, the lighting is a stark and the atmosphere isn't quite what we had expected from a classic American style steakhouse.

The food at The Brooklyn was really good and pleasantly surprised us! It feels a bit like Grill Royal's little sister, who also wants to be taken to the party. The ambience in particular contributes to the pleasant atmosphere and we felt comfortable. The service was friendly, but unfortunately not as professional as you would hope for in a restaurant in this price range (you have to expect €50-100 pp). The cocktails were okay - more like a C for us, but that's definitely a matter of taste. The wine selection could be a little more extensive, but a big plus is the child-friendly approach: the staff were very accommodating and made an effort to accommodate us with strollers. Overall a solid experience with minor flaws, but we would come back.

I was more of a companion here because I don't really like steak... But I can only recommend the side dishes and starters. To start, we were given hearty popcorn on the table, which was really good. Then there was delicious beef glass noodle salad and the sweet potato fries were perfect. The salad came from the daily menu and it didn't say that it contained coriander... But that was quickly resolved (they picked it up). As for the meat... My companion had a 600g T-bone steak. It was really much less than 600g and unfortunately the consistency and taste were not at all convincing. Conclusion: convincing for side dishes but the meat dishes are quite expensive and not recommended.

Service was good as I mentioned to the waitress how my last experience in February meant me waiting for over 20 minutes to get any services resulted me in leaving I had the 600g T-bone with fries and spinach. The fries and spinach were very nice and the steak not so good. It was cooked and seasoned well but just wasn’t the best quality of meat Certainly not worth €60 on its own .

In short: the food and the whole evening at The Brooklyn was great - a fantastic steak (Chateubriand - IIRC 850g, we shared it between the two of us), great side dishes, great types of beer, great service. Overall, we were very enthusiastic and would love to come back. And as a bonus: even the parking situation in the area was great, a parking space was found quickly.

We had a wonderful evening, as we always do at The Brooklyn. For starters we had a very good teriyaki beef salad, for the main course we had fillet steak, grilled to perfection, with various side dishes and the excellent shrimp and saffron risotto. As always, the wine recommendation was perfect. The service is always very friendly and competent. The price-performance ratio is suitable for the quality offered

Very tasty food. Perfect meat. Plenty. Nice somewhat ignorant first waitress when it came to wine but later we got good guidance on what to drink.

Fabulous meat. Perfectly cooked. Great sides, good portions. The service could be leveled up a little bit, however, they were very lovely and when the waitress wasn’t sure of what wine to recommend she quickly got someone to assist in recommending a delicious wine to a decent price. It was our last night in Berlin, super happy! If I had to give one improvement it would be to get better outdoor seats for summer and for the staff to describe better size portions and concept.

Hier kommen Fleischliebhaber sowie Vegetarier voll auf ihre kosten. Man kann zwischen verschiedenen Fleischstücken und vielen Gemüsebeilagen wählen und sich so sein Menü zusammenstellen. Ebenfalls bekommt man eine top Weinberatung vom Chef des Hauses. The Brooklyn liegt etwas versteckt in einem wunderschönen Gewölbekeller.

Better than Grill Royal. Service and quality of the food are top. Any special requests will be taken into account. (My companion didn't want any salt or sugar in the food.) I've lived in the neighborhood for seven years and have always been put off by the inconspicuous entrance (stairs to the basement). Absolute recommendation from me!!!

We opened the steakhouse on April 19th. Visited in 2024 and were very enthusiastic. The food was more than that excellent. The service was excellent and very individual. Our special requests that were not on the menu were served excellently. The selection of wines on the menu is great. This steakhouse will definitely see us again and is an absolute recommendation.

Brooklyn has been my absolute first choice in Berlin for more than 3 years when I'm looking for quality, care and absolutely perfect food. Even if a few weeks sometimes pass between my visits, I can always rely on being able to enjoy a wonderful time paired with really great dishes. In terms of price, the Brooklyn is a bit upscale, but it's been worth every cent for years. Thanks to the whole team at Brooklyn, you really do a perfect job.

Booked a table for just myself I turned up and asked for a glass of wine. The waiter gave me the menu before I could choose he immediately left and that was it. I never saw him again. I wait for five minutes then 10 minutes then 15 minutes he never came back to take my order. I never got a drink, and after 20 minutes of waiting there on my own, I got up and left Maybe tables for one are invisible to the staff

The meat was nice but the side orders were bland at best. Mac and cheese. Tomato/onion on top did nothing good for the dish. Cheese didn’t taste like much. Truffle cabbage. I don’t think this dish has seen any truffle. Not even truffle oil. Fries. Ok. Sauce bernaise. The consistency was not thick but towards watery. Taste was ok but could use more bernaise essence/fresh estragon. Caesar salad. Dressing was tasteless, no anchovies. Not worth the price tag in any shape or form. The ambience of the place was non existent. No music, bright lights and a special decor. Sevice was ok. Wine and beer card very limited. All in all not worth the price tag IMO.

We ate sensational steak. In a quality comparable to that of the overcrowded, sometimes overpriced, hyped steakhouses in the city. The side dishes tasted great and the portions were very large. Absolutely fair price for the quality and size of the portions. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. We would love to come back when we are in Berlin.

The best steakhouse restaurant in Berlin! We tried the beef fillet black Angus, the NY strip loin and the Ribeye! All of them were very tasty! The first one was very juicy, the second one had an excellent balance of flavour and tenderness and the third one had a really we special smoked flavour! We also choose the Barbecue sauce and the Pepper Sauce! The second one was an excellent choice for our steaks ! The salad with spinach and arancini was also very tasty! The service was very helpful and attentive! The atmosphere was very nice! I totally recommend it!

Wer einen besonderen Geschmack des Fleisches erwartet wird, wie ich, enttäuscht. Ich hatte das kleine Rinderfilet (180 g für 38 € ohne Beilagen). Es war weit von zart entfernt. Mir schmeckt mein Filet in meinem Lieblingssteakhaus Asado besser und dort ist es definitiv zarter ( und kostet die Hälfte inklusive Beilagen).Service war okay und Ambiente im Kellerrestaurant ist toll

This steakhouse impressed with well prepared beef and un-fussy service. The location is a bit subtle. Apparently located in a small hotel. Our first impression was the arrival of the steak board with the evening's selections. A nice touch. I eat far too much steak, so believe me when I say, that these steaks were well prepared. Very tasty. And reasonably priced compared to American steakhouses. The sides were fine. The drink prices were reasonable. The service was good. Steakhouse service can be a bit over the top. The service here was less formal which was just fine. I recommend The Brooklyn and would return.

Ein wenig versteckt liegt der Eingang in der Köpenicker Straße, bevor sich einem der Zugang zum tiefergelegenen Restaurant über eine Treppe und zu einem regelrechten Schmuckkästchen eröffnet. Kaum Platz genommen, ist der Service sofort bemüht, die Wünsche des Gastes auf zunehmen. Danach beginnt eine kulinarische Reise auf hohem Niveau, von dem Tatar als Vorspeise über das perfekt auf den Punkt medium gegrillte Filesteak bis hin zum New York Cheese Cake. Die eingelegten Zwetschgen zum Dessert - und ich mag eigentlich keine Zwetschgen - sind eine Wucht. Lediglich die Auswahl der französischen Weine könnte noch verbessert werden, auch wenn der das Essen begleitende Malbec eine gute Empfehlung war. Insgesamt aber ein exzellentes Dinner in typischer amerikanischer Steakhouseatmosphäre. Empfehlenswert!

180 g. Filetsteak und 350 g. Rumsteak auf den Punkt gegrillt. Krautsalat der Hammer. Die Bedienung Jenny ist der Oberkracher. Der Laden ist von außen kaum zu erkennen und man läuft fast vorbei.
