Öz Samsun 1 in Berlin

Ich warte seit 10 Minuten, niemand ist gekommen oder gegangen. Ich habe mir die Speisekarte selbst genommen und warte immer noch. An den Tischen links und rechts von mir wurden die Bestellungen bereits aufgenommen, nur meine nicht. Ich gehe jetzt. Der Service ist unterirdisch, ich kann das Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Absolut bester Döner Berlin’s, wenn ihr als Soße Cacik nehmt statt diese immer gleiche schleimige Normsoße, die alle haben. Echt unfassbar, dass kaum ein Laden checkt wie wichtig die Soßen sind.

Das war das schlechteste und unnötig teuerste Restaurant, in dem ich je gegessen habe. Anderswo bekomme ich zwei große Lahmacun (türkisches Fladenbrot mit Fleischfüllung) für 2 Euro, aber heute habe ich 10 Euro für drei kleine bezahlt. Selbst wenn man sie zusammenlegen würde, ergäbe das keinen anständigen Lahmacun. Ich kann es absolut nicht empfehlen. Die Kuttelsuppe war so ungenießbar, dass ich sie gar nicht beschreiben kann. Ich habe 21 Euro verschwendet und würde das Restaurant niemandem empfehlen.

Der Halloumi war… Klopf, klopf… Niemand war da.

Das ist schon kein einfacher Dönerladen mehr, sondern eher ein türkisches Restaurant. Einer der leckersten Döner, die ich in Berlin kenne, und man kann sich sehr gemütlich reinsetzen. Auch öffnungszeitentechnisch wird man nicht im Stich gelassen, egal ob nach der Arbeit oder morgens um 4 nach dem Feiern, dieser Laden ist rund um die Uhr für einen da. Probiert unbedingt den selbstgemachten Ayran!

Ich kaufe schon seit Jahren Kuttelsuppe. Die Petersilie, die heute dazu serviert wurde, war gelb und die Zitrone faul. Das ist nicht der Preis, den ich dafür bezahlen sollte.

Ich habe Schisch Kebab, Hummus und einen Fuze Grünen Tee bestellt. Der ältere Herr, der dort arbeitete, warf mir die ganze Zeit anzügliche Blicke zu und sorgte dafür, dass ich mich total unwohl fühlte. Ich werde NIE WIEDER HINGEHEN 🇹🇷

Einer der besten Döner in Berlin.

Obwohl hier wirklich gut gekocht wird, bevorzuge ich das Öz Samsun 2, das nur ein paar Ecken weiter liegt. Ein sehr gemütliches Lokal mit einem Außenbereich zum Sonnenbaden. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist vergleichbar, und der Geschmack des Essens ist fast identisch. Der Service ist okay, weder besonders gut noch besonders schlecht. Englisch wird dort auch nicht gesprochen. Insgesamt ist es ein nettes Lokal, aber ich empfehle ein anderes.

Es schmeckt definitiv nicht mehr so ​​wie früher, und der alte Besitzer ist ganz sicher auch weg. Ich esse dort seit 30 Jahren, aber man merkt deutlich, dass sich die Führung geändert hat; das Wasser schmeckt nach nichts, das Brot ist altbacken. Kurz gesagt, Öz Samsun ist am Ende. Heute habe ich dem Laden nach langer Zeit noch eine Chance gegeben, aber es ist noch schlimmer. Die Kutteln sind nur noch Wasser, und das Brot ist total durchgetrocknet. Am Döner habe ich nichts auszusetzen, der ist immer noch ausgezeichnet, aber Öz Samsun hat seinen Charme verloren.

Der eine Ort wo man weiss- da ist wirklich IMMER offen. Super freundliche Mitarbeiter und die Linsensuppe ist fantastisch!

Now for the execution: Well… I found the doner kebab itself to be abysmal. The meat (Saturday, November 15, 2025, 3:21 a.m.) was unfortunately very dry and tasted awful. Technically, the kebab itself is well-made. I really like the ratio of meat to vegetables (lettuce, onions, etc.). Everything is fresh and crisp. But the spit is unfortunately problematic. The cabbage wasn't seasoned, I couldn't find any cucumber, and the sauces were weak. I don't know. The conclusion is difficult: Technically very good – culinarily just not. Based on this, I unfortunately cannot recommend the kebab.

Top-notch paca with a side dish (parsley, radish, lemon, pickled chili); substantial and delicious. Fresh ayran. Tea. €9. Thanks to the Turkish shops in Berlin, you can still enjoy really good, fresh food late at night.

I ate here for the first time today, based on a recommendation. I'm from Stuttgart and have tried many kebabs in Berlin. However, I have to say that I've tried many of the hyped places, and they can't compete with Öz Samsun. The kebab was super juicy, and the meat was also very well seasoned. Plus, the server was really friendly!

Today, we went to a place called Özsamsun with my cousin to have soup. My cousin wanted lentils and I got Kellepaça soup. The soups came and I saw a 4/5 cm hair on the soup just as Garon left it and I showed it to Garon and he said let me change it. I said no problem and he brought a new soup and left it. After eating 2/3 spoons, I saw another hair and when I stirred it well, there were 3 hairs in the second soup. Another waiter came and I showed him the hairs one by one and he asked if he should change it. I thanked him but I lost my appetite and said I can't eat it and don't bring it. My cousin's soup was clean and I told him to continue eating. After 2 minutes a dark short middle aged man came and said excuse me eat something else I said no problem bro it's ok I guess he was a master when my cousin finished eating we went inside to pay the bill and there was a waiter at the cash register who brought the first soup and when I saw him I said there were 3 hairs in the second soup just to let him know in a low voice The waiter started talking in a bad manner like "How can that be, he always finds you" and I said okay bro take your money let's go he said 17 euros we paid the bill and left. I was angry at his very rude and impolite behavior I don't care about the money I don't care about the business owner if he sees this comment he should watch the camera recordings immediately if there is any I will not go again and I will not recommend it to anyone

Be sure to visit Öz Samsun 1 in Berlin. The soups are truly delicious; I especially recommend the lentil soup. The service is fast and the staff are very friendly. The prices are also very reasonable. It's an ideal place to enjoy a warm soup on cold days.

Döner kebab was a disappointment after many other in elsewhere Berlin. The meat in kebab was pretty bad quality. Maybe a fluke this time.

This is our second visit to this restaurant. The first time, I was very sick and ordered a Tavuk Corbasi (😉). It really did bring me back to my feet—a really good Tavuk Corbasi, very tasty! On my second visit, I tried a lentil soup, which was also delicious. The kebab durums were also delicious. I would especially like to emphasize the friendly and helpful staff. They even offer tea service. My rating for this restaurant: 10 out of 10!

Everything is just right here! From the delicious and flavorful meat, to the homemade bread and ayran, to the cozy atmosphere. It's worth a visit!

I had kelle pacha soup, it was excellent but I went to the second branch, unfortunately they said that the establishment that makes that excellent soup does not have vinegar and garlic. It was an extremely indifferent attitude, I will go to the first branch as soon as possible…

I eat here more often and got a Dürüm again despite the renewed price increase. Unfortunately it was extremely bad! For €8 there was less meat than usual and hardly any salad - it basically just consisted of a few green leaves and a tomato. The thing was full of sauce, so that the flatbread was completely soggy. Unfortunately no longer recommended.

On the evening of April 19th, 2025 we ate kebab and both got food poisoning. How difficult can it be to pay attention to hygiene? Years ago the restaurant was a good one but unfortunately not anymore. I hope it will improve.

I had Adana Yoğurtlu and a homemade Ayran and Uludag – top quality, made with real love for good ingredients. You can sit outside and enjoy the Little Istanbul vibe – it truly feels like a small corner of Turkey. Prices aren’t cheap, but quality comes at a price – and here, it’s absolutely worth it.

Worst experience with Adana Kebab I ordered an Adana kebab in this restaurant, but what I got had nothing to do with a real kebab. When I took the first bite, I noticed something in the meat that I couldn't chew. It was so uncomfortable that I had to go to the bathroom and threw up. I asked to speak to a person in charge to question the quality, but was only told that the food was “very good”. Unfortunately, this was not my experience at all. The customer service was extremely poor and I felt like I wasn't being taken seriously. I end up paying money to eat a high quality Adana kebab, but what I received didn't even seem fit for human consumption. I am absolutely disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant.

Am Ende zahle ich Geld, um ein qualitativ hochwertiges Adana Kebab zu essen, aber das, was ich erhalten habe, schien nicht einmal für den menschlichen Verzehr geeignet zu sein. Ich bin absolut enttäuscht und würde dieses Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen.

We had a really bad iskender, the meat was incredibly fatty and not well cooked. They served it with burnt butter on top. Unfortunately, we left the plates half-finished and left. 30 euros is garbage.

We ordered 4 kebabs, whereupon the waitress proceeded to read the entire menu to us. We repeated our order, three kebabs without spicy and one with. The kebabs themselves are quite tasty, unfortunately three were spicy and one was without.

Authentic Turkish cuisine since 1979, my favorite shop in my hometown Berlin Neukölln... Highly recommended whenever I'm nearby it's a must to eat my lentil soup and kebab plate there...

Real meat instead of minced meat on a skewer. Very tasty! The thick, homemade bread for the Dürum was also very good. Very good traditional kebab with outstanding bread.

We ate here for the first time today. I had pide and my husband had chicken skewer. We both got a bowl of salad with it. Chicken skewer and pide were really small portions. Furthermore, I was very negatively surprised that the pide was just a warmed up pide and not one from a stone oven. We expected much more for the price. However, the service was good and the staff was friendly. I only ate the pide because it would be a waste of money. Neither of us were really full. Due to the negative experience, we will no longer come.

My wife and I stumbled in by chance when we were a little hungry. Ambience very warm and not overcrowded. We decided on kofta in bread. The chef gave us Lahmacun to try in advance, which was a taste revelation. Bread for the kofta was home-baked and nice and fluffy and crispy, the meat was super juicy and subtle but perfectly seasoned. The homemade Ayran is creamy and served ice cold. Service is very friendly, attentive and overall the atmosphere here is very informal and cozy. Next time I will try the Iskender Kebap and the other dishes also sound very authentically like good Turkish cuisine. Spontaneous, unexpected little trip into the warm Turkish soul before continuing onto the wet asphalt of Neukölln.

Dieser Döner beweist, dass er keinerlei Saucen benötigt, um absolut überzeugen zu können. Ohne Schnickschnack, ohne dass Saucen als Geschmacksverstärker dienen – er steht einfach für sich selbst und ist dabei einfach nur unglaublich lecker. Die Wohlfühlatmosphäre des Ladens, ergänzt durch den meisterhaften Chef, der definitiv ein Experte in seiner Kunst ist, hat den Besuch zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Das Unglaubliche: Der Laden ist rund um die Uhr geöffnet! Bei unserem Besuch um 2:30 Uhr in der Nacht wurden wir mit wahrscheinlich dem besten Döner unseres Lebens belohnt. Ein Muss für jeden Döner-Liebhaber!
