Öz Samsun 1 in Berlin

If there's no other - I didn't like it at all :(

I ate here for the first time today, based on a recommendation. I'm from Stuttgart and have tried many kebabs in Berlin. However, I have to say that I've tried many of the hyped places, and they can't compete with Öz Samsun. The kebab was super juicy, and the meat was also very well seasoned. Plus, the server was really friendly!

The soups were delicious; I had lentil soup last time. Friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Keep it up 👏🏻👍🏻

It definitely has no old taste, it definitely does not have the previous owner either, I have been eating it for 30 years but since it has been touched by someone, the water has no taste, no salt, the bread is stale, long story short, Özsamsun is finished now.

Today, we went to a place called Özsamsun with my cousin to have soup. My cousin wanted lentils and I got Kellepaça soup. The soups came and I saw a 4/5 cm hair on the soup just as Garon left it and I showed it to Garon and he said let me change it. I said no problem and he brought a new soup and left it. After eating 2/3 spoons, I saw another hair and when I stirred it well, there were 3 hairs in the second soup. Another waiter came and I showed him the hairs one by one and he asked if he should change it. I thanked him but I lost my appetite and said I can't eat it and don't bring it. My cousin's soup was clean and I told him to continue eating. After 2 minutes a dark short middle aged man came and said excuse me eat something else I said no problem bro it's ok I guess he was a master when my cousin finished eating we went inside to pay the bill and there was a waiter at the cash register who brought the first soup and when I saw him I said there were 3 hairs in the second soup just to let him know in a low voice The waiter started talking in a bad manner like "How can that be, he always finds you" and I said okay bro take your money let's go he said 17 euros we paid the bill and left. I was angry at his very rude and impolite behavior I don't care about the money I don't care about the business owner if he sees this comment he should watch the camera recordings immediately if there is any I will not go again and I will not recommend it to anyone

Be sure to visit Öz Samsun 1 in Berlin. The soups are truly delicious; I especially recommend the lentil soup. The service is fast and the staff are very friendly. The prices are also very reasonable. It's an ideal place to enjoy a warm soup on cold days.

I have never eaten such a good döner in my life. This is a döner like döner.

Döner kebab was a disappointment after many other in elsewhere Berlin. The meat in kebab was pretty bad quality. Maybe a fluke this time.

This is our second visit to this restaurant. The first time, I was very sick and ordered a Tavuk Corbasi (😉). It really did bring me back to my feet—a really good Tavuk Corbasi, very tasty! On my second visit, I tried a lentil soup, which was also delicious. The kebab durums were also delicious. I would especially like to emphasize the friendly and helpful staff. They even offer tea service. My rating for this restaurant: 10 out of 10!

Everything is just right here! From the delicious and flavorful meat, to the homemade bread and ayran, to the cozy atmosphere. It's worth a visit!

I had kelle pacha soup, it was excellent but I went to the second branch, unfortunately they said that the establishment that makes that excellent soup does not have vinegar and garlic. It was an extremely indifferent attitude, I will go to the first branch as soon as possible…

It's late in the evening, you don't feel like disappointment, then you always end up at Öz Samsun. Great food, authentic, honest, delicious. Not a shishi but exactly the right thing.

I eat here more often and got a Dürüm again despite the renewed price increase. Unfortunately it was extremely bad! For €8 there was less meat than usual and hardly any salad - it basically just consisted of a few green leaves and a tomato. The thing was full of sauce, so that the flatbread was completely soggy. Unfortunately no longer recommended.

On the evening of April 19th, 2025 we ate kebab and both got food poisoning. How difficult can it be to pay attention to hygiene? Years ago the restaurant was a good one but unfortunately not anymore. I hope it will improve.

I had Adana Yoğurtlu and a homemade Ayran and Uludag – top quality, made with real love for good ingredients. You can sit outside and enjoy the Little Istanbul vibe – it truly feels like a small corner of Turkey. Prices aren’t cheap, but quality comes at a price – and here, it’s absolutely worth it.

Pleasant shop, we've been eating there for years. Doner meat is tasty, but the price-performance ratio has recently decreased, portions are no longer as generous and the taste has been particularly poor. A. the kebab is also unfortunately a bit unspectacular, almost boring. Come here less often now.

The service is so nice! We got Turkish tea and when we told the owner we did not have breakfast we could buy bread from him. The food was really nice, definitely would recommend it.

Worst experience with Adana Kebab I ordered an Adana kebab in this restaurant, but what I got had nothing to do with a real kebab. When I took the first bite, I noticed something in the meat that I couldn't chew. It was so uncomfortable that I had to go to the bathroom and threw up. I asked to speak to a person in charge to question the quality, but was only told that the food was “very good”. Unfortunately, this was not my experience at all. The customer service was extremely poor and I felt like I wasn't being taken seriously. I end up paying money to eat a high quality Adana kebab, but what I received didn't even seem fit for human consumption. I am absolutely disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant.

Ich bat darum, mit einer verantwortlichen Person zu sprechen, um die Qualität zu hinterfragen, aber man sagte mir nur, dass das Essen “sehr gut” sei. Leider entsprach dies überhaupt nicht meiner Erfahrung. Der Kundenservice war extrem schlecht, und ich fühlte mich nicht ernst genommen. Am Ende zahle ich Geld, um ein qualitativ hochwertiges Adana Kebab zu essen, aber das, was ich erhalten habe, schien nicht einmal für den menschlichen Verzehr geeignet zu sein. Ich bin absolut enttäuscht und würde dieses Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen.

We had a really bad iskender, the meat was incredibly fatty and not well cooked. They served it with burnt butter on top. Unfortunately, we left the plates half-finished and left. 30 euros is garbage.

We've been eating here for almost 20 years and it's always delicious and fresh. We don't live in Berlin anymore, but we come by whenever we're nearby.

We ordered 4 kebabs, whereupon the waitress proceeded to read the entire menu to us. We repeated our order, three kebabs without spicy and one with. The kebabs themselves are quite tasty, unfortunately three were spicy and one was without.

Authentic Turkish cuisine since 1979, my favorite shop in my hometown Berlin Neukölln... Highly recommended whenever I'm nearby it's a must to eat my lentil soup and kebab plate there...

Very cozy restaurant, comfortable seats and benches. Nice and warm in the cold seasons and you can warm up comfortably Food is served on a plate with a napkin Meat with all facets represented from raw to crispy and fat to muscle meat Plus free chai served by the host after every meal!

Real meat instead of minced meat on a skewer. Very tasty! The thick, homemade bread for the Dürum was also very good. Pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant part (of course there is also street sales). The strong employee in the restaurant area was very friendly. If I didn't live on the other side of town, I would come here more often!

Very good traditional kebab with outstanding bread.

We ate here for the first time today. I had pide and my husband had chicken skewer. We both got a bowl of salad with it. Chicken skewer and pide were really small portions. Furthermore, I was very negatively surprised that the pide was just a warmed up pide and not one from a stone oven. We expected much more for the price. However, the service was good and the staff was friendly. I only ate the pide because it would be a waste of money. Neither of us were really full. Due to the negative experience, we will no longer come.

My wife and I stumbled in by chance when we were a little hungry. Ambience very warm and not overcrowded. We decided on kofta in bread. The chef gave us Lahmacun to try in advance, which was a taste revelation. Bread for the kofta was home-baked and nice and fluffy and crispy, the meat was super juicy and subtle but perfectly seasoned. The homemade Ayran is creamy and served ice cold. Service is very friendly, attentive and overall the atmosphere here is very informal and cozy. Next time I will try the Iskender Kebap and the other dishes also sound very authentically like good Turkish cuisine. Spontaneous, unexpected little trip into the warm Turkish soul before continuing onto the wet asphalt of Neukölln.

Dieser Döner beweist, dass er keinerlei Saucen benötigt, um absolut überzeugen zu können. Ohne Schnickschnack, ohne dass Saucen als Geschmacksverstärker dienen – er steht einfach für sich selbst und ist dabei einfach nur unglaublich lecker. Die Wohlfühlatmosphäre des Ladens, ergänzt durch den meisterhaften Chef, der definitiv ein Experte in seiner Kunst ist, hat den Besuch zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Das Unglaubliche: Der Laden ist rund um die Uhr geöffnet! Bei unserem Besuch um 2:30 Uhr in der Nacht wurden wir mit wahrscheinlich dem besten Döner unseres Lebens belohnt. I ordered a kebab here today, 17.09.2023 at 8pm. An employee with greasy grey hair puffed a cigarette in the back, which was clearly visible from the counter. He took another 1-2 strong puffs, then came to the counter and "stirred" the sliced tomatoes in the display with his unwashed(!) bare hands. Instead of a spoon, he used his dirty hands. Isn't that extremely disgusting? Of course, I asked him what that was all about. First smoking, then running his dirty hands through his greasy hairdo, and then touching everything in the display. Actually, this is a case for the health department! I can only warn against eating in this unhygienic place. Fie on you. Never again! I hope the boss reads this. The employee insulted me when I left without waiting for my kebab, of course. Disgusting!

Bester Döner in Berlin & perfekter Service, immer meine erste Anlaufstelle in der Hauptstadt

My 3rd time going there & they've consistently reduced the meat & salat goes into my durum.

This restaurant had been there for years and it probably has reasons to remain there for so long, but it's not the kebab. The kebab itself was eat-able but compared with other stores in the same area, this store filled the kebab less with meat and salad and was also more expensive than the average. Therefore, I cannot recommend this store for kebab only. However, the service and waiters were kind and helpful.

Die Linsensuppe mit Beilagen und frisch gebackenem Brot ist wirklich gut und sehr empfehlenswert.

Yemekleri berbatdi, köfte aldim 50%-i bile et degildi. Ayrica garson cok geveze biriydi, gereksiz konusuyordu.

Hm. Der Service war extrem freundlich ohne nervig zu sein - vorbildlich, sozusagen. Der Dönerteller hingegen blieb hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Na ja, ganz OK, aber kein bisschen besser als überall sonst. Das Fleisch für meinen Geschmack viel zu dünn geschnitten, dadurch trocken, Salat in Ordnung, Brot Massenware ohne Pfiff.

Adaner Kebap war viel zu klein für seinen Preis aber mega lecker. Leider stimmen die Preise auf der Homepage nicht, sollte mal angepasst werden. Der Kunde wäre dann nicht so überrascht

Bester Kalb Döner Kebap Berlins. Vernünftiges Fleisch und eine eigene Soße, welche nicht so nach fett trieft wie bei den Standard-Dönerbuden in Berlin. Einzig der Rotkohl fehlt mir.

Also da habe ich den besten Kebab in Deutschland gegessen,schmeckt Original wie in der Türkei,außerdem 10 Punkte für Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Ich habe mir eine Linsensuppe und einen Dürüm gegönnt. Beides war sehr lecker und hatte eine top Qualität. Die Linsensuppe war schön cremig wie es sein sollte und nicht zu flüssig. Das Brot dazu war selbst gemacht und sehr knusprig. Bei dem Dürüm war das Brot auch selbst gemacht und das Fleisch war sehr zart und gut gewürzt. Alles hat auch schön satt gemacht und hatte einen guten Preis. Man kann diesen Laden echt sehr empfehlen.

Leider kann ich diesen Laden nicht mehr empfehlen ich war sehr oft da Essen!!! Ich war nach Ramadan also einen ganzen Tag lang gefastet bin ich da essen gegangen. Ich wollte nicht mehr als Essen, ich hatte die ersten vier Löffel von meiner Suppe gegessen, kam der Mitarbeiter zu mir und sagte, ich solle doch bitte den Tisch wechseln, mitten im Essen obwohl genug andere Tische frei waren natürlich bin ich aufgestanden habe bezahlt und bin gegangen, ohne zu essen wie kann man jemanden mitten im Essen sagen er soll seinen Tisch wechseln ich lade auch ein Foto von diesem Mitarbeiter hoch, damit ich hoffe sowas niemals passiert noch nie in meinem Leben ist mir sowas passiert. Das ist eine absolute Frechheit. Wie kann man so wenig Respekt vor Essen haben?
