Delicious food and friendly staff!

This may be my favourite restaurant in Berlin. It's modest, cozy, and oh so delicious! Food is exciting, creative; you feel as if someone was, at the same time, carefully thinking and having fun when putting together the flavours and ingredients. The service is top-notch: incredibly friendly and kind! It's a joy that these places exist.

Always tip top. Food, drink and, above all, service has been top notch for years.

This was our second visit to Dr To's and just like the first time, or maybe even better, we were very pleased with our dinner. The service is simple but clever and very friendly. The food is simply great, tasty and satisfying. The price is absolutely right. Highly recommended.

The Edamame was good. Beware of the vegan tofu bowl - it is Korean spicy, aka spicy as hell.

Absolutely phenomenal combination of flavours! Soft makrele, juicy tuna, exceptional sake mussels, delicious duck and creamy pumpkin wow what a feast. also very caring service, friendly and really dedicated. Can't wait to be back!

Had a great dinner at Dr. To's. We had not made a reservation and there was actually no room, but the staff still managed to find a nice spot for us. The customer service was top notch and so was the food. Highly recommended for a fun evening in Berlin if you fancy shared dining.

The food was amazing, not so salty and really fresh. For German maybe too light (?)but for me as Taiwanese, it’s perfect. This is not what can I have normally in the Asia restaurant in Berlin, super satisfy. I will recommend to any friends who love light and tasty fresh food. Oh, the the ice tea is also amazing.

You know that Situation when you've ordered 6 things cause everything sounds awesome, then you eat and everytime you switch between dishes, it kinda feels like sin to switch tastes cause the last one was so good? Impeccable service 👌 Porkbelly = Christmas in my face! Kim Chi = crunchy, flavourfull Beef Tataki = how am I on holiday in Italy via a slice of tender beef in an Asian restaurant in Berlin? Steamed Chicken with cucumners = such a warm Medley in a cold dish Seafood Pancake coming up! (Ended up being crunchy chewy goodness)

Highly recommend! The food was amazing and definitely worth the price. But what stood out to us the most was their costumer service. All of the staff treated us amazing, by making us feel safe and valued and they also gave us free sake. All of this made for the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had in Berlin. Please support these nice people!

Mega delicious taste explosion and sweet service

Mediocre restaurant - the prices are too expensive for the size of the portions & for the simplicity of the dishes. There wasn’t any dish which “blew my mind”. The atmosphere is typical Neukölln but also nothing special. All in all very mediocre.

Aller nettester Service auf der ganzen Welt. Ich liebe Dr. To's und möchte dort heiraten. Und zwar die Tofu Dumplinge weil ich noch nie sowas leckeres in meinem ganzen Leben gegessen hab. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, die hoffentlich alle gut bezahlt werden für ihre tolle Arbeit, denn ohne sie wäre das Dr. To kein place der Freude und Hoffnungen für unseren Gaumen.

Great place to get Szechuan fusion style tapas. Had the Szechuan beef stew and can highly recommend it. The Tuna Tataki was fresh and flavorful as well. Kimchi was good. Also had a seafood Korean pancake to share which was great as well. The service was really friendly and wholesome

Ich kehre immer wieder zurück, und ich hab es nie bereut. Das Menü ändert sich ab und zu (meine Lieblingsgerichte sind allerdings überlebenskünstler:)) mir bereitet es ganz besondere Freude meine Freunde von außerhalb dorthin zu verführen.

We had the pleasure of ordering and enjoying 8 different dishes, and every single one of them surpassed our expectations. However, the true highlight of our experience was their Sake. It had a wonderful balance, offering a smooth and delectable taste that perfectly complemented the food. Speaking of highlights, the service was exceptional. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel valued. As a special touch, they even surprised us with a complimentary shot of sake from the house while we waited for the check. This made us feel even more appreciated, despite having already enjoyed three bottles of sake by that point! (Price was ~120 for 2 people but because we had a lot of sake and food)

So unfassbar lecker, jeder Bissen eine Geschmacksexplosion, hochwertige Zutaten (man fühlt sich angenehm gesättigt und nicht voll), ästhetisch angerichtet. Mein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant. Ganz besonders herzliches Personal. Drei bis vier Gerichte/Tapas pro Person sind ein guter Richtwert. Nicht ganz günstig also aber bei der hochwertigen Küche auch nicht zu erwarten. Absolute Empfehlung!!!!!

Wahnsinnig gutes Essen! Vom feinsten ausgewählt, die Tageskarte ist sensationell. Der Chef persönlich oft da und sehr kompetent und beste Beratung! Sehr gute Auswahl von Weißweinen und Rosé. Junges freundliches Team. Rechtzeitig buchen am Wochenende fast ausgebucht.

Verlässlich gute asiatische Küche, wir waren mehrmals hier und sowohl Service als auch Gerichte sind immer top, sehr zu empfehlen der Schweinebauch - super zart und super lecker

Sehr schönes kleines Restaurant. Abwechslungsreiche Karte aber nicht zu viel (was immer besser ist). Manchmal sehr voll - besser vorher reservieren. Bei schönem Wetter draußen 😀 Für die Qualität absolut angemessene Preise.

Dr. To‘s ist ein Muss in Neukölln. Sehr gutes Essen, super freundliches und authentisches Personal, zudem eine perfekte Lage um in nahegelegene Bars weiterzuziehen. Wir kommen gerne als Paar oder mit Freunden immer wieder hierher.

Für die Qualität absolut nicht zu teuer. Sehr leckere, mit Können und Liebe angerichtete Tellerchen, deren Zubereitung bei vollem Haus mal ein paar Minuten länger beanspruchen darf. Man kann blind von der Karte bestellen. Immer alles gut, wobei für mich nichts über das 'drunken beef' und den 'pork belly' geht. Der super-zuvorkommende Service rundet den Besuch ab.

Innovative combination of Japanese flavours with tapas-like mentality. Excellent ingredients and wine selections. The service is 💯💯💯 as a Japanese, I highly recommend this place as one of the best authentic Japanese fusion restaurants in Berlin.

Wish I could give it 0 stars! Food is sub par and very expensive. If you make a reservation they don't care and just give your table away even if you are on time! We waited 45 minutes with a table reservation! There are much better restaurants in this area skip this one Edit: Great to see the owner is verbally abusing people over the internet (check all other low star ratings, nothing ever constructive, just pure hate) , to bad he is always too spineless to do it in person. If this is really the type of establishment you want to support then be my guest.

Sommige gerechten die ik warm verwachtte werden koud gegeven ook al stond dit niet aangeven. Bijvoorbeeld koude broccoli met pindasaus en koude champignons. Helemaal niet lekker. De udon noedels waren warm maar werden samen met de koude gerechten op tafel gezet. Omdat we de andere gerechten die bij de noedels gegeten zouden worden, nog niet kregen (soort stoofvlees en kippenvleugels) wachtten we en zo werden die noedels dus ook koud. We hebben zeker 15 minuten moeten wachten op de rest van de tapas. Bij het afrekenen vroeg de man (eigenaar, waarschijnlijk dr. To zelf of we de tip cash of met de kaart wilden betalen. Dit vonden wij heel opdringerig en onbeleefd.

Asian Fusion trifft Tapas und ergibt eine spannende und leckere Mischung. Für Liebhaber der asiatischen Küche ein Muss. Unbedingt viele, kleine Tapas bestellen.

Der beste Doktor im Kiez. Die Bowls sind ganz geil. Die Sezchuan Gerichte könnten gerne noch etwas schärfer. Ansonsten hen hao.

A little gem that I really enjoyed. A tapas concept place where to order and try several dishes in a nice and warm environment and spend an evening with friends. The place: the restaurant is rather small and cosy. Simple in its concept and design. I admit I would prefer to have proper seating instead of benches, but apart of that the place is cosy and enjoyable with good lightening and cool atmosphere. More the right vibe for dinner of friends than romantic tete a tete. The service: very nice service. Owner and staff are nice, attentive, friendly and professional. Dishes are explained and suggestions can be made. The food: the concept is a modern Asian tapas restaurant, so the portions are rather small and perfectly made to be shared. All the food is good, but the tuna tataki was special. Very good also the beef tataki. The food is thought through and smartly presented. The price: for a full array of dishes for three people (we all left full) we paid 35 euro per person including a bottle of wine and tip. While not cheap, the price is absolutely honest especially considering the quality of the food. Overall the restaurant is a great address for a relaxed time with friends where to try very good food in a warm and cosy atmosphere. I will absolutely go back there and will save the address in my list of restaurants in Berlin.

El tataki de ternera excelente y las alitas de pollo muy sabrosas, todo muy bien cocinado y fresco. El personal es muy amable y el ambiente del bar es muy agradable. Izakaya 100% recomendable!.

Kleine Portionen, teuer und schlechter Service. Die Bedienung kam selten an den Tisch. Es gibt nicht einmal Cola-Light. Zwar schmeckt alles gut, aber das Geld ist es nicht wert. Update: Nach frecher Antwort gleich einen Punkt weniger.

Hier stimmt alles! Super leckeres Essen und tolles Personal in einer coolen Neuköllner Umgebung! Immer noch eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants! Gleiche Top-Qualität bei wechselnder Karte, und das seit Jahren.

Massively overpriced. The starters are made of just raw vegetables with sometimes, some nuts chucked in , served in really skinny portions for €3,50 each . Very little and poor vegan options. Super expensive.

I don't get the average rating - Dr. To's has been consistently great over the past two years. Maybe it was people getting takeaway during covid, it's not really a take out joint... Super cosy, pared back interior, great small plates of imaginative, well executed food. Friendly owners/staff. A bit expensive euro per gram of food wise, but for fine/trendy small plates it's affordable and fair. It's my go-to restaurant for reliable, pleasant dining experience when I have people visiting me in Berlin, or for a date night type thing.

Ordered for Take out: It was very disappointing. Food was cold, almost no tofu/meat in the dishes and had to wait 30 min outside because they were so unorganized.

Enjoy the Japanese flavour, in a Spanish format. Incredible tasty dishes combined with very nice compositions. Enjoy the food variety and explore taste that you didn't know existed in Japanese cuisine. Price range goes from 20 euro to 50 euro. Difficult to spend more than this! My favourite restaurant

Estábamos cenando y el restaurante permitió que entraran varias personas sin hogar mientras todos comían. No tengo nada en contra de él. Pero como puedes imaginar, tenían un fuerte olor. No pude comer más. El olor a pis era muy desagradable.

Sehr nette Bedienung, leckeres Essen und tolle Cocktails. Hat mir und meinem Verlobten super geschmeckt.

Für mich das Beste: die Portionen haben die perfekte Größe, um je nach Hunger 3 bis 5 verschiedene Gerichte zu genießen. Bestellt wird mit Stift und Zettel, letzterer wird von der Bedienung eingesammelt - ein großartiges System das kaum Platz für Fehler lässt. Das Essen kommt schnell und ohne erkennbare Reihenfolge, alles ist köstlich und wunderbar angerichtet. Die Bedienung ist nett, Deutsch und Englisch klappt wunderbar. Erwartungsgemäß hipper Laden mit ebenso hipper Klientel, romantisch dunkel aber leider ziemlich laut wenn es voll ist.

Visitamos al Dr. To para un regalo especial de cumpleaños y habíamos reservado con 2 semanas de anticipación. Cuando llegamos, se habían perdido nuestra reserva en su lista de reservas, por lo que no tenían espacio para nosotros en el restaurante principal. Desde entonces recibimos un servicio absolutamente terrible: fue lento, el jefe de camareros fue grosero, dijeron que era nuestra culpa que perdiéramos la mesa y luego hablamos en alemán diciendo "no debemos haber agregado sus nombres a la lista". Finalmente conseguimos una mesa adecuada, y cuando conseguimos la comida estaba deliciosa. Sin embargo, no vale la pena la visita, ya que está bastante alejado.

3/10 will never go there again. Hipsters might love it, it felt like a rip off. Langsamer Service, das Essen lauwarm und unverschämt teuer. Angebliche Asian Fusion , dabei nicht sehr Stäbchen gerecht und kleine Portionen. Die Sour Cocktails schmecken nur Sauer, unmöglich weitere Noten zu erkennen.

Cuisine asiatique fusion. La carte propose les immuables classiques et des plats du jour toujours nouveaux. Je recommande le brocolis: cuisson parfaite et petite sauce aux cacahuètes, un vrai délice. Seul reproche, mais de taille! les portions de riz et de nouilles sont vraiment très très petites et donc vraiment trop chères. La déco est hyper minimaliste, mais on y vient pour prendre une kyrielle de petits plats à partager entre amis.

Typischer kreuzköllner laden. Hohe Preise, kleine Portionen. Die maßlose Arroganz der Kellnerin und ihr Desinteresse passen perfekt in die überbewertete hipster-Welt. Das Essen war OK, aber nichts für Leute mit Hunger. Und wagt es ja nicht, die Kellnerin auf deutsch anzusprechen. Ein gleichgültigeres und herablassenderes Gesicht kann man sich kaum vorstellen.
