Am liebsten KEIN STERN!!! Hatten am Sonntag um 13:30 Uhr geschlossen, sollten ab 12:00 Uhr geöffnet haben.........

leider sehr enttäuschend.. am samstagabend waren wir die einzigen gäste dort.. 20 min. nach unsere bestellung ging der koch/betreiber, der im speiseraum mit anderen landesleuten unterhielt in die küche.. zwischendurch kam er immer wieder um der „unterhaltung“ beizuwohnen.. nach 1 stunde kam unser essen.. und das auch falsch.. obwohl wir auf der speisekarte unmissverständlich gezeigt hatten.. die bedienung legte zudem uns nahe, mit dem, was sie uns gebracht hat zufriedenzugeben, da es nochmal dauern würde das bestellte essen zu servieren.. ambiente im laden lies sich was zu wünschen übrig.. optisch sah das essen nicht einladend aus.. wir hatten gehofft, dass wenigstens der geschmack die bereits negative erfahrungen wetmachen würde.. aber leider weit verfehlt.. wir wollten mal etwas anders ausprobieren.. jetzt haben wir einen bitteren und säuerlichen nachgeschmack, wenn wir das wort „kongo“ hören.. die bedienung empfahl uns ausdrücklich "kongoläsisches spezialbier" was sich nachher als sehr süssliches malzbier entpunpte.. schade eigentlich..

Nettes und offensichtlich Inhabergeführtes Restaurant in dem man einfach auch nach einen Einkauf nur ein Getränk zu sich nehmen kann. Ein Stück Afrika lässt den Restaurantbesuch zu einem kleinen Urlaub werden.

Wir waren vor ca. 2 Wochen dort essen. Wir waren neugierig auf die typischen Gerichte. Es wurde uns alles nett erklärt und wir haben auch noch ein extra zum probieren bekommen. Der Spinat war traumhaft gewürzt. Kochbanane und Ziegenfleisch waren auch sehr lecker Es ist für Europäer sehr ungewohntes Essen. Aber wir fanden es super. Auch das Ambiente ist nett.

Das Ziegenfleisch war sehr lecker und der Preis ist auch gut.

VERY LONG WAITING TIME. I AM FROM DELIVERY AND JUST HAD TO PICK UP THE ORDER. IT WAS TOLD FOR 5 MINUTES AT THE END AFTER AN HOUR LATER I WAS ALLOWED TO DELIVER THE DAMN ORDER EVEN THOUGH I HAD ALREADY FINISHED DURING THE WAITING PERIOD. SO, ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE TRUTH!!! ZERO. NEVER PICK UP AN ORDER THERE AGAIN!!!!

I have to be honest and say the number of stars people sent doesn't do it justice. Me and my wife as well as my aunt thought this place was really good. I ate it African for the first time and I have to say I immediately became a fan. Get it as soon as I did. It was super tasty 🤤

Very unprofessional restaurant and poor quality of food. There was only one person who did all the work in the restaurant, from cleaning, cooking, setting tables, taking orders, paying, like everything. It took the old man 2 hours to prepare a 2 course meal for two people.There was another table at the time we were in the restaurant but they left without food after waiting for more than an hour.We ordered fufu but we were cheated with microwave samolias. Goat was like donor kebab with no pieces at all and has no taste at all. Another dish we ordered was fish which was over fried and had no meat left. we asked for homemade drinks but we were served canned drinks. In the end we paid the bill with cash since they didn't bring a card and he didn't bring a paper bill either, he just asked for the money verbally.

With Groupon voucher 2x2 people, but still paid €75. But for what? After 1 1/2 hours of waiting, a 2-course menu turned into 4 individual meals, 3 of which almost didn't taste good at all, unfortunately. Charred hard meat and dry fish, side dishes almost inedible. Service okay and tried hard, but unfortunately poor German and no English. My recommendation: go somewhere else.

I had a Groupon voucher. So if you want to eat comfortably and in a nice atmosphere, this is not the right place for you. It's MEGA loud (music and the people who are there). The food is very expensive and not necessarily tasty and not freshly prepared, for example the salad. So much is served on one plate that it falls off the edge of the plate. Bigger plates would have been better. There is no recommendation here!!

Rarely have I had such an honest and delicious meal without any frills. 😋 Everyone should try the crispy fish with plantains here. I think I'll become a regular customer. Soon there will also be barbecue here, I chatted with the boss about charcoal grills, building one yourself is the best solution, halved steel barrels with stainless steel grill grate. 😉👍🏿👍👍🏼

Recommended to us by a friend, this was a great find for a kitchen south of the sahara! Definitely a different taste that had been missing from my palette for a long time. Finally something different. From the music to the other patrons, this was a great experience. The owners provided excellent service and the portions were large for an average price. Unfortunately, they had run out of Congolese beer but we could enjoy the juice and (I think) Nigerian beer. It would've been a 5 star experience with these improvements: - a higher quality menu (the menu and pictures were a bunch of single pages) - clarity on how to order the dishes (each main dish must choose a side dish) - more Congolese decor outside

We went all the way to this place (which is far) to give a chance to this african restaurant. So disappointed! More than an hour to wait for the food. The food was ok. Time to pay; the lady brought just a post it with a price. That’s it!! No details for what you consumed. Of course overpriced. They literally charged us for each side, 15€ only for one fish (no side), etc.. and also the excused themselves telling that the prices raised and of course we had to pay for every single french fries, fufu, rice… which supposed to be part of the dish. We literally paid 80€ for 4 dishes, one of them french fries with 6 wings for our kids! Sooooo disappointed!!

Red Card for this particular Restaurant!!! The menu was only pictures of food with no price list. We have waited for over 1 hour and a half for our food. The food was okay but not great, and the prices were doubled. It was extremely expensive and the portions not generous. It was a total disappointment, a total waste of money and time. I will advise you guys who wanna go to this place to really think about it ( there are other great African restaurants around Berlin but this one is catastrophic. Worst service ever I Do Not Go In There, please

Das Essen ist sehr lecker ,es gibt eine große Auswahl

Das Essen war top. Allerdings haben wir vorher nicht nach dem Preis gefragt. Für zwei Gläser Selter und 2 mal Fufu mit etwas Rindfleisch haben wir 40€ bezahlt. Mein afrikanischer Freund war überrascht, daß das so teuer war.

Es gibt eine große Auswahl und das Essen war sehr lecker. Personal ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich!

Super nette Crew, leckere original afrikanische Gerichte da muss mich sich natürlich drauf einlassen. Heineken war kalt.
