Burrito Window in Berlin

I was in a group of 6, we all placed our orders, got charged, 10 min later we are told everything is cancelled and we need to get the money back 😅 too amateur for my liking. Not very surprising given the location. Can’t recommend

Best burrito I have had since moving to Europe (I’m from New Mexico, USA). This burrito was straight out of Breaking Bad and I loved every bite.

I never write reviews but this place deserves it. The guy is a complete a$$. I ordered a quesadilla. He told me 10 minutes. I waited outside and came back in and asked me what I ordered again. He completely forgot. Then I decided I was going to get a beer while I wait. I asked the price for an Augustiner and it was too much. That’s not a problem. I just said no thanks. The guy freaked out and asked why I wouldn’t buy it. I said it was too much for me. He then said I was too old to think like a kid. Insulted me while he was making my quesadilla. I let it go for a second but he didn’t. Kept on insulting me and laughing at me. I just said screw it and took off. Horrible dude with a bad attitude. Hopefully it was just that kinda day for him rather than how he is. I wasn’t expecting much bc I’m from San Diego and I know European Mexican doesn’t hit. I just wanted something quick, was in a good mood, and was met with hostility.

The staff is nice and kind but unfortunately the food is very plain, tasteless and has nothing to do with Mexican. Too expensive.

Great value Mexican food, open till 12. Spicy is German spicy, but all round late night good filler with fresh ingredients and fritz kola :)

For me this is the best burrito shop in Berlin. The food tastes great and the employees are great. I can only recommend it to everyone.

The burritos are thicker than my forearms and taste a 10/10. The staff is also super nice, so I enjoy eating there with my stepchildren.

Super nice employees. I recently got the lucifer burrito there and it was great :D Even though it's relatively small, I still thought it was great there. I think the atmosphere was nice and quiet, better than the other fuller restaurants I have to say. Will definitely go there more often! I can only recommend !

Ordered once on Uber Eats. Experience was mediocre at best. Decided to give it another chance since it’s close by but encountered extremely rude service. Ended up leaving without ordering.

The store looks really great, inside and out, and the atmosphere is really great too. The staff was extremely nice (rarely experienced) and also accommodating, which I really liked. The food arrived quickly and I and my companion enjoyed it very much. I can only recommend.

So in advance. Burrito really great. I don't go to this corner of Berlin very often and I stopped by by chance today. The burrito was really tasty. I was still talking about the habanero salsa. It was explained to me how it was cooked and I was promised that it wouldn't upset my stomach. It was spicy but actually digestible. No stomach problems. The Habanero Salsa was very tasty. Can definitely recommend a visit.

I recently tried the burritos at this place in Berlin and unfortunately the experience was pretty mediocre. Although the burritos were adequately prepared, they failed to convey that touch of originality or passion that one would expect from such a potentially rich dish. In particular, I found the vegetarian options quite limited and lacking the creativity that could really make a difference. It would be interesting to see the place experiment more with fresh ingredients and innovative combinations to provide a richer and more satisfying experience for those following vegetarian diets. Overall, there is room for improvement and I hope that in the future the place can rethink its menu to offer more inspired and inclusive dishes.

The Burrito Window hat mich wirklich positiv überrascht. Das freundliche Personal sorgt für eine angenehme Atmosphäre, und die Möglichkeit, meinen eigenen Burrito zu gestalten, fand ich super. Was das Essen betrifft, waren die Zutaten frisch und schmackhaft. Ein einfacher, aber sehr zufriedenstellender Ort für Burrito-Liebhaber!

Ich kann den Laden nur empfehlen. Super nettes Personal und die Burritos sind alle sehr lecker. Geschmack und Preis/Leistung sind einfach nur top! Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Best burrito place in Berlin! Great prices, great burrito and wonderful service! It’s my birthday and Burrito Window saved my dinner. I went to the Korean bbq right in front and I had to leave because it was such a dreadful restaurant. Burrito Window was my saviour. I’ll definitely come again.

Die (vegetarischen) Burritos schmecken leider nach fast nichts. Dafür ziemlich teuer (10,50€).

Achtung Falle! Erstmal musste ich 20 min warten, obwohl nur eine Bestellung vor mir war. Dann hab ich den easy chicken bestellt (ohne Bohnen) was ich bekommen hab: weizentortilia mit einem haufen trockenen, geschmackslosen reis, ein TL Schmand, 1 EL chicken und ein paar wenige Salatblätter. Total trocken und nicht genießbar und das für 8€!!! Und schlechter Service, die Bedienung haben wir darauf hingewiesen aber das war ihm egal.

Leider geschmacklich fader Burrito. Mein erster Bissen war nur trockener Reis. Zu wenig der anderen Zutaten. Und dazu teuer. Enttäuschend. Nettes Personal.

Restaurant laut Maps am Sonntag geöffnet. War aber leider geschlossen.

Das war nix. Geschmacklich 1/5 Preislich absolut nicht nachvollziehbar. Wartezeiten waren grenzwertig. Sauberkeit naja. Mitarbeiter wirkte überfordert und lustlos.

Friendly guy and delicious burrito

Hatten einen vegetarischen Burrito und eine Quesadilla mit extra gegrillten Hähnchen und Guacamole zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Obwohl beides geschmacklich okay war, war das Ergebnis insgesamt sehr enttäuschend und vor allem ärgerlich. Beim Burrito wurde das Tofu vergessen und bei der Quesadilla das Hähnchen und die Guacomole. Umso ärgerlicher weil die Bedienung bei der Bestellung alles genau aufgeschrieben und sogar noch einmal nachgefragt hat. Wie kann so etwas passieren? Völlig chaotischer Haufen… Leider nicht das erste Mal. Nicht empfehlenswert!

Ich habe so oft Burritos gegessen ,ich finde dass The Burrito Window high class Burritos anbietet... Kann ich nur empfehlen..

Drinnen kann es ziemlich eng und stickig werden. Draußen sitzt man gemütlich. Leicht überzogene Preise.

I don't know what happend to this restaurant! I used to order from there online and it was once my favorite Mexican food restaurant in Berlin. Now their food is just overpriced and not even well spiced. I ordered the tofu quesadilla and it was not even filled properly and very dry. Very disappointed! I really hope they work on their food. It used to be AWSOME! (It could've just been a bad day or something, I don't want to you to not try out their food!)

hab mir den Burrito Bowl bestellt und muss sagen das es ohne liebe zubereitet wurde und so sah es auch aus geschmacklich war es ganz ok, auch nur weil ich Heißhunger hatte

Leider ein eher durchschnittlicher Burrito zu einem überdurchschnittlichen Preis...

Enttäuschend. Habe den veganen Super Soy Burrito für 8 € ausprobiert und der war sehr langweilig. Reis, schwarze Bohnen, Eisbergsalat, Mais, scharfe Sauce & Tofu. Für den Preis erwarte ich etwas anderes, das nicht nur aus Dosen kommt. Bei der Zutat Soy vermutete ich Sojageschnetzeltes oder ähnliches, aber keinen langweiligen Tofu. Einziger Vorteil der ganzen Geschichte: Man ist satt.

Poor Quality // Ziemlich schwacher Laden... Die Burritos sind gross, machen entsprechend satt. Das ist das einzig positive... Füllung eher billig, vor allem weißer Kantinen-Reis und Unmengen schwarze Bohnen. Die bringen Masse. Scharfe Sauce drüber, in Industrie-Tortilla eingerollt und fertig. Keine Kunst, nichts lobenswertes. Da sind keine Profis am Werk. Eher Hilfskräfte-Niveau. Und dafür in Summe viel zu teuer....

Bei Lieferando bestellt. Warten nun seit über 2 Stunden auf das Essen. Am Telefon wird man die ganze Zeit vertröstet. Letzte mal hier bestellt. Absolut inakzeptabel!

Besitzer (Manager?) hat mich und meine Freundin bedroht und beleidigt. Essen ist weit unter Durchschnitt. Der Laden ist echt zu vermeiden.

Für beinahe 10 Euro bekommt man hier einen recht großen, leicht versalzenen Burrito der gut satt macht, aber doch für das was es ist überteuert. Gemütlich sitzen ist leider auch nicht möglich.

Very bad service. I was with a friend who doesn't speak German, so I had to translate to make the other for both, and the guys who takes the order were making comments of us(in German) in our face. Only me could understand. Very discussing situation.

Mexican food is still something a little underrepresented in Berlin and burrito window is a welcome addition. the place is pretty small, but has an honest feel to it and the burritos were good. we felt that the wraps were spot on and the stuffing had this right blackbeanish taste to it. Service was friendly and fast. Recommendable!

Very very good (vegetarian) burritos ! I have high expectations towards food and I love burritos and tried them in the States, but those ones are as good as the ones in the States or even better. Yummy guacamole, fresh ingredients and even a kind service. I can absolutely recommend this place :)

The chicken tasted like nothing, there was a hair in my food and everything else was underwhelming. Don’t understand the hype.

I am honestly so disappointed. I ordered two burritos and nachos for delivery. The ONLY thing that was different when I added the same super soy burrito a second time was that it included guacamole. I ordered both of these burritos from the same menu page. I got a burrito and a salad. I called to ask why, and I was blamed (it was apparently my fault), laughed at, and hung up on. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. the food we were delivered was not just wrong, but horrible. The salad was sad and tasteless. I couldn’t even pawn it off on my coworkers. When they mess up your delivery you’ll only be hung up on and ignored. also, the nachos and guac were NEVER going to be worth 5€. I expected home made, delicious nachos at this cost. What I got was grade school food.

Leider super lange Wartezeit (20 Min plus) für eine Quessidia weil Liferando wichtiger ist als die Leute vor Ort. Wir sind wieder gegangen. 1. Versuch und leider fail.

Sehr freundlicher Mitarbeiter (der mit Cappy). Die Wintermütze vom anderen Mitarbeiter hat mich etwas gestört. Das Essen ist super lecker. Der Laden etwas zu klein und eng.
