While the food was delicious and the portions were large to devour with friends, the food was not authentic (which is fine by me) and it was slightly on the unfresh side. Also, pita and borek felt just a little dry.

This is just a fast food joint. It has little to do with authentic Greek cuisine. It's not clean, the air is bad, and the food is mediocre. Thanks, but nothing more.

Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Aplo Greek Kitchen. But now in detail: you can reserve, which I really liked. I wanted to invite my girlfriend (in November 2024) to dinner (since I actually really liked it some time before because of the vegan gyro). Unfortunately, both the service and the food were not good at all. The waitress only asked me what I wanted (my friend was a bit neglected), also exclusively in English. The food arrived relatively cold and the fries were barely salted. But the highlight is: my girlfriend had a spider in her salad. Something like that shouldn't happen. Especially when you consider the relatively high price. The 2 stars are because I used to like and taste it.

Good value for money. The plates are plentiful. The service is fast and the food is fresh. I loved my chicken gyros

I got the vegan gyros plate and it used to be so much better a few years ago: greasy, of course, but full of flavour and a pleasure to eat. I’m not sure if the restaurant is trying to appeal to a more “health-conscious“ customer base, but I didn’t appreciate the mushrooms that are now mixed in with the “meat” pieces. For my taste there were too many onions and something was off with the tzatziki as well. Disappointing compared to equivalents in Athens and definitely not worth €17, sorry :/

very tasty food. We had the normal and also the chicken gyros, I personally liked the normal one better, but I'm not a big chicken fan either. I like to eat a lot of tzatziki and usually don't even order an extra portion, which wasn't necessary here. My favorite, however, was the grilled aubergine, which was simply amazing!

Everything we ordered was good, but overpriced. We liked it but it is more expensive than you think, especially the drinks.

The pita at Apló was incredible. Everything was fresh and delicious, but the pita was especially sensational. I highly recommend enjoying it with the dips in the Mezze Platter or the Chicken Gyros.

The girl who served us was quite unpleasant as she was towards everyone. the portions are small in relation to the cost, the room is nice and the bathrooms are clean.

I went to both locations in Berlin and was impressed by the quality of the Greek dishes they serve. It's like being in Greece and eating home cooked food. The Souvlakia skewers are just out of this world. The best I ever had. Definitely should try 😋

I ordered a pickup with 5 pitas and 2 portions of fries with feta and tzatziki. When I got home I found the following problems: -Both portions of fries came without feta. -A portion of tzatziki was missing. -Three pitas contained onions even though I specifically ordered without onions. I called the restaurant to alert them to these errors, but they refused to take responsibility for the incorrect delivery. It took 12 minutes of discussion before they finally agreed to review the order and then they confirmed that their online system had given them incorrect information. Your Answer? "Next time you come, let us know and we'll give you something extra." My answer was clear: "That was the last time." Their reaction clearly showed that they didn't take my complaint seriously. No apology was offered – not even a simple “sorry.” The manager seemed completely indifferent and dictated what to say to the person on the phone, making the interaction seem condescending and unprofessional. For an order worth €60 I expected much better service. The lack of responsibility, respect for customers and basic hospitality is unacceptable. I will never order from here again - purely because of their terrible attitude. This type of treatment is disgraceful for a company in the hospitality industry. UPDATE: Please do not respond in this way as it will damage your restaurant's image. A simple “We are sorry, we apologize” would be sufficient. Criticism should not offend, but should be constructive. After calling the restaurant and explaining the situation, I was informed that the order was processed incorrectly. When I checked my online order, I found that the problem was that the “Fries with Feta” was set to “Without Feta” by default (screenshot attached). For transparency: This is the screenshot I took when I explained to the person at the restaurant on the phone that their ordering system was apparently set up incorrectly - which I didn't notice at first. Now, an hour later, they changed it! Also, who picks up a delivery and opens every single package of seven items to ensure the restaurant delivered the correct items? No one! It is the restaurant's responsibility to carry out proper quality control before sending out the orders.

Quite tasty but quite expensive. Of course, you can't compare the taste of food in Greece, but that's hardly possible.

The food was really very tasty. But unfortunately we were very disappointed with the service. The restaurant was empty on a Sunday. The waitress seemed annoyed and stressed by us even though we were calm and friendly towards her. I also work in service, so a little smile can't be that difficult. I'm sorry because I really recommended the food, but if you don't like service, you should leave it alone.

Very tasty food at a fair price. But the exhaust systems should either be used at all or simply turned up a few levels. You come out of the store and smell like a chip shop. That doesn't work at all!! Then we can allow smoking again. But the food and service was really good...

Food is excellent. Something different than this uniformity. The place is small and has a bit of a snack feel to it, but that doesn't detract from the whole experience. I can only recommend it. Would come back at any time!

We were a group of 3 people and we really enjoyed our meal. The food was good. The waitress was very attentive and polite and because I needed gluten-free food, she helped me in detail with the decision. We will definitely come back.

We have ordered from this place a few times, ALL of our orders were prepared wrong, EVERY time. Items are overprised. Once we called them after placing an order online to confirm with them that they read our comments and they were quite rude as if us calling them was insulting? Guess what, order came wrong again.

I don't rate the food because we didn't have any. We waited in an empty restaurant for more than 35 minutes to order, but no one came to us even though we alerted the staff. We preferred to leave. Unfortunately a bad experience...

Vegetarian moussaka, iman baildi (stuffed eggplant), Greek fries, pita bread, tzatziki, soy gyros, everything was wonderfully delicious. It was just a bit noisy and the ambience reminded me a bit of a McDonald's, but the food completely took it out of it for me that I didn't care about the rest. ☺️

Unfortunately far from authentic Greek food. The gyro was only lukewarm and consisted of large, fatty pieces. The lettuce leaves were mushy and the ambience seemed run down.

Unfortunately, pork gyros and chicken souvlaki in pita were not tasty, far too expensive and had nothing to do with the taste of actual gyros/souvlaki. The facility is very old. The only Greek thing in this store is the music that plays there. 🤷🏻‍♂️

We were a group of five, each ordering different dishes: gyros pita, calamari (19€ for a sad dish), veggie gyros, etc., but none of them stood out. The "hausgemachter" lemonade and iced tea tasted identical and nothing like homemade. The service was not very friendly and took them ages to bring 1 of the 5 dishes. Overall, the food quality didn't justify the high prices. Disappointing experience.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't really convincing, it wasn't authentic and there wasn't even lemon with the dishes. Neither the chef nor the service was Greek, which in itself is not a problem, but both the ambience and the food, as mentioned above, suffered tragically... Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant if you're looking for good, real Greek food. The best thing was the cola from the glass bottle...

I found a fly in my pita. They didn’t offer me a new one and made me pay for it (they gave me an 85 cent (!!) discount for something that I didn’t even eat more than 30% of before finding the fly). The waitress said she can’t give a different discount, she had to call her boss who „wasn’t available” and didn’t pick up the phone..

Very good food and large portions! Ordering was done smoothly via an app. Unfortunately, very small place facing a large and heavily trafficked road that you hear a lot. Plus it was very hot inside the restaurant. But in terms of food, it was great!

Hello, I strongly advise against the restaurant. We ordered a chicken grill platter and later realized from the taste that it was pork. We spoke to the owner, he was rude, blamed us, made us pay for everything, didn't apologize and just left. Also, my cutlery was dirty and we waited 40 minutes. Lying, cheating and then being rude.

If you are looking for an authentic greek food experience than look no further than Apló. My friend and I went back three times while staying in Berlin because we could not get enough of the food here. The portions are large with quality ingredients and amazing taste. I really cannot recommend this restaurant enough - I will return to Berlin even if just to eat here again! Thank you Apló

Every summer, when I really want to eat Greek food, I occasionally get Gyros to take out, but the people working in the kitchen are very slow... Waited 25 minutes for 2 Gyros and souvlaki. The server wasn't that friendly either;/ Go when you have plenty of time.
