We had the Greek mezze platter and a gyros sandwich. Both were really good and generous portions. Service was quick and very friendly.

I visited this place today morning and tried their Bifteki burger and fries, they were very delicious. The service is amazing, all good people. The atmosphere is very vibrant. A must visit place.

Wouldn't go there again, staff was not that friendly, there are better restaurants

The interior is lovely and the atmosphere is so cozy. Everything is homemade and so delicious but the chicken Gyros is to die for. You should definitely stop by if you‘re in the area!

It is a good, accessible and comfortable place to enjoy Greek style food. I liked that it adheres to true mediterannian culture opposed to other “Greek” places that may have better decor but also absolutely drenching their dishes in fat, oil and spices. I think one of the reasons most people call it bland. Compared to those this place nails it. Looking for a spice explosion in a mediterranian dish is ridiculous. It is supposed to be fresh, drizzled with olive oil and some mild fresh spices with a lot of lemons which I find here.

Based on the website, we were expecting a restaurant and ended up with a mediocre snack bar. We had made a reservation and were initially seated at a filthy table near the entrance. After persistently asking for a different table, we were finally allowed to sit in the back, where it was at least a bit quieter, more comfortable, and cleaner. You have to order your food at the counter. The food itself was cold. Taste-wise and portion size-wise, it was okay. The prices are comparable to restaurant prices, but unfortunately, they're for a snack bar. We were really very disappointed. Update November 4, 2025: Unfortunately, an attempt was made to have the review deleted for defamation. Luckily, even after all this time, I still had the required evidence. I deeply regret this attempt to delete it, as a review should always be an honest snapshot in time. Things were as they were back then; they may have changed since then, especially since this review was already three years old. Deleting criticism is never a good approach and unfortunately creates absolutely no trust. I hope the operators will somehow abandon this practice.

I visited this Greek restaurant today and What a vibe! The food was very delicious, I tried their halloumi burger and Chicken gyros, both were very good. In desert their bougatsa is amazing.

The waitress was very arrogant, made no effort to understand me, insisted on speaking English, and made me feel like the fault was mine. My friend didn't get the food he wanted. Instead of an apology, she dismissed it arrogantly.

I have tried greek moussaka this afternoon and i loved it. My friend tried their pita calamari, that was also very good. If you're hungry and want to try some good place, do visit here. Because with food, the service and ambience is also top-notch.

I tried this restaurant today and tried their feta sagnaki and their greek falafel. Both the things were very delicious and especially the greek falafel with greek spices. The service was also very quick and good.

It's not REALLY a "Greek Restaurant" rather an cantine that pretends to be "Greek" and offers somwhat a Greek Kitchen for co-working, and office people from nearby offices.

The two of us arrived and wanted something to eat. The entire restaurant was empty – no other customers. Since, for health reasons, I'm better able to sit on regular chairs than on high chairs, we sat in the back of the restaurant. But the employee sent us back to the front: We were only allowed to sit at the high tables. An empty restaurant, no consideration, no flexibility – what can you say? Sto kalo!

I just visited this greek aplo kitchen and had their garden salad with haloumi and vegan gyros. Both the things were very delicious. The service is very nice and fast. If you’re in Berlin, you must visit this place. The ambience is also very calm.

We ordered from them and had a really bad experience. My boyfriend found a small rock in his chicken and a whole piece of garlic in his pita. The tzatziki was also not that tasty. Moreover, my pita was really soggy. I would recommend to order or eat somewhere else.

Unexpected how good this place is. The chicken was so flavorful and moist. Everything we had (chicken plate and meatball wrap) was well seasoned and just surprisingly delicious for how unassuming this place is. Good portion sizes as well - we were full.

The food isn't authentic at all. The moussaka had Indian curry in it. It tasted very strange. There was no hospitality at all. It's a shame. The owner also wants to have my review deleted. Be careful, folks, see for yourself!

I didn't like the service at all. We decided to eat outside on the terrace (it was hot inside), so they told us we had to place our order online and pay for it immediately, before we were served. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either. I wouldn't go back.

Both the waitress (who speaks Spanish extremely well) and the chef explain the dishes in detail. She paid close attention to the gluten issue (I have celiac disease) and recommended the safest option. I had a Greek salad that was delicious and so big I couldn't finish it! The ingredients were delicious and the service was super fast.

We arrived by chance and couldn't have had better luck. From the moment Alessia greeted us with great kindness and spoke to us in Spanish (lucky us!!!) until we left, everything was spectacular. We sat at a table inside, with an incomparable Greek atmosphere, music, photos, a few artifacts... everything created a Hellenic atmosphere. Alessia advised us on the dishes; we ordered a Greek salad with pork and moussaka. The dishes were very well served, abundant, and tasty. It was enough for two people. The entire place looked very clean and well presented: tables, chairs, no smell coming from the kitchen, and the bathroom was spotless. And all this without mentioning the price... it was less than €20, which I think is more than reasonable. Alessia even gave us some tips on how to get to Kreuzberg. Aplo people... thank you so much!!! P.S.: Alessia, we went to Kreuzberg but couldn't find any t-shirts... too bad.

The pita is definitely overpriced for what it is. It didnt have much inside and it also felt quite try. The plates looks great though.

The Souvlakia are delicious and the best spices. Especially the Chicken and Lamb Souvlaki. Will be my daily lunch place.

The food was ok but much closer to fast food (not worth the high price), and the service was not very good. After ordering drinks, we found out there is a lot of cinnamon in them, which we don't like, they said they couldn't exchange them for other drinks, even though the menu did not mention that. Would not recommend.

Asked for chicken gyros and ended up with a big spread on a plate which I didn't realize was the "plate" option on the menu until the bill. Very expensive for what it is and considering the countless options for similar food in Berlin (minus tzatziki). Tasted like warmed-up leftovers and tzatziki was very heavy.

I went to this restaurant with my wife for lunch for our wedding anniversary – the food was absolutely amazing, of really good quality! The atmosphere was also absolutely lovely. The service was excellent; the girl who served us was totally professional and super friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Caution! Not hygienic at all! I was in the restroom at the same time as the server/kitchen staff, and while I was washing my hands, she simply walked past me and served us. Disgusting! That's a service thing? A total no-go. My wine glass was greasy, and it didn't taste good either. Unkind and disgusting. Please don't do this and find another restaurant.

We had the vegan Gyros and vegetarian Moussaka and Feta Saganaki! Out of this world. So good as in Greece.

Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend this "taverna." We were last there in the summer of 2024, and it was already nothing like we'd experienced before – fresh, authentic, and truly delicious. This place has absolutely nothing to do with Greek cuisine. The food resembles bad fast food, and after seeing the display in the glass cabinet, we're just hoping for a quiet night tonight! What a shame!

We had pita, and it was really delicious. The service tried hard, but they only spoke English. That's very useful in an international area, but without English skills, ordering is impossible. Atmosphere? It's just a larger snack bar with seating. What's particularly bad is that there are no prices anywhere unless you scan a QR code and register somewhere 👎 that's not possible. As mentioned, the food is great, but going there specifically for the food is "no."

Regarding delivered food: Our food was completely cold and soggy, the pita was like rubber. On top of that, the chicken gyro was simply inedible for us. Full of fat and gristle. What really annoys me is that we spent almost €50 on a dinner that almost entirely ended up in the trash, and we didn't get a refund. Anyone who charges €21.50 for a plate of gyros should deliver top quality and, above all, be service-oriented. That can all happen, but we don't think it's okay to not accommodate us. I would have returned it in a restaurant anyway, because it was inedible for me. What a shame.

Been my go to spot for months. But they had a new carver yesterday, indian man, and he moved the fries dripping in fried oil all over the pita. When i unwrapped the pita at home it was literally dripping and soggy in oil. Completely inedible. I hope this is not a sign of them changing up the cooking staff from a winning formula before

We found this restaurant on accident. But we are glad it happened! The food was exceptional. Everything tasted fresh and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was pretty good but it could be better (uneven tables, not that pretty backyard). But all in all, I can highly recommend this place!
