Had a fabulous meal here tonight with my partner. Great quality food, steaks were delicious and the staff were very lovely and helpful. I highly recommend any steak lovers to visit this restaurant

Food is very delicious. The service is fast and waitstaff are good at their job. However if you go in the evening without a reservation, you may have to wait around 5-10 minutes

Unfortunately, only about 30% of the seats can be reserved. While waiting for a table, you sometimes have to stand outside in the cold. Additional seats are only ordered very "leisurely." The food was PERFECT, as was the service! The atmosphere feels a bit like an assembly line, which it kind of is. In, eat, out. One star deducted for that.

A very nice, friendly lady helped us (I think it was Andrea). The food was fantastic. We usually go to the Karl-Liebknechtstr. branch, but we're glad we came here. It felt a bit better. We had the rump steak and ribeye.

One of the best steakhouses I've had since arriving in Berlin. The price isn't too expensive, but the meat quality is truly excellent. A 12oz ribeye steak with a baked yogurt potato and either a salad or soup costs €36, which isn't cheap but not expensive either. The buttered bread served with the steak was incredibly fragrant and delicious. We ordered the onion soup, but it wasn't the French style where the onions are caramelized and dissolved into the soup; it was just soup with onions, not very good, and I wouldn't recommend it. They also offer many children's meal options, but don't expect too much from the taste. Desserts are also a highlight. Their Austrian apple pie is excellent. We ordered three scoops of ice cream; the strawberry one was delicious and had a fruity flavor; the vanilla one was strange and not recommended, with a strong vanilla extract taste; the chocolate one was excellent, with chocolate chips and a very rich texture, highly recommended. Overall, the desserts are strong. The restaurant is incredibly popular; you have to wait in line on weekends. In summary, it's a great option for festive gatherings.

I had tartare, steak, onion soup, and carpaccio. Everything was delicious. There was also an English menu. The two waiters who served me were very nice, which can't be said about the disgruntled woman at the entrance. I took off one star for that, but overall, she didn't manage to ruin my mood, and I hope others will too.

Very friendly and attentive staff, very fast service.❤️ Since I always eat and drink the same things, I don't even have to look at the menu for long anymore. 🤭 I usually go to Block House branches in major cities in Germany alone and without a reservation. Therefore, I usually sit at the bar or counter area, which personally doesn't bother me at all. 😉 On the contrary: I find it quite exciting to experience the hustle and bustle. 🤣

We've rarely been ripped off like we were here... After requesting a table reservation by phone, we were told we could just drop by at 6:00 PM, and then it would work out. We arrived at 6:00 PM. There were already six couples ahead of us at the door waiting to be let in. A couple in front of us told us it was normal to have to wait at least 30 minutes. After waiting 15 minutes, nothing happened, and we were really annoyed. If the lady on the phone had told us we had to stand in line and wait 30 minutes, we would have come earlier. We wanted to go to an event afterwards that started at 8:00 PM. We then went to Peter Pane next door, where we got a table right away and had a good meal. We just left our €75 there. Apparently, Blockhaus doesn't need that anymore. At least our first wedding anniversary was saved.

Well, anything less wouldn't have been good, and the waitresses were almost cheeky. It was borderline.

Everything was excellent: the steak was on point, the carpaccio was delicious. The lava cake was also premium. Unfortunately, the restrooms weren't up to the standard of the restaurant.

Excellent food and great prices. Everything is delicious and hot, and the service is kind and fast. The dish comes with salad and potatoes, a huge, delicious and crispy steak, and even a type of garlic bread. Highly recommended. An excellent chain. I would go back there again.

The best Blockhouse in Berlin, along with the one at Alexanderplatz (there are definitely differences in quality between the branches in Berlin, it always depends on the chef). The steaks were excellent, grilled to perfection (we ordered medium rare, as good steaks should be). The salads were crisp, and the service was top-notch. We were there at lunch, and it wasn't very busy, but they still took great care of us. Simply a wonderful experience. A big recommendation. +++++++ The best Blockhouse Steakhouse in Berlin, along with the one at Alexanderplatz (for the several Blockhouse spots in Berlin, there are huge differences in quality, depending on the chef). We went back to the restaurant late in the evening, so it was very quiet. We were very hungry and were not disappointed; we even forgot to take pictures of everything because we were so hungry. The service was friendly and very quick. I opted for the Norwegian salmon, and my companion put together a menu from the side dishes. Everything was very fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. There was no need to add any seasoning, so it gets 5/5. All in all, you can spend a few pleasant hours there in this beautiful setting. Highly recommended

We had a reservation for 8:00 PM, but arrived at 8:05 PM due to a delay. Once inside, we had to wait until the owner could assign us a table. They kept us waiting for 10 minutes, and we were standing in the middle of the restaurant. We then wisely walked away and had a delicious meal at Peter Pane. I say, don't go there!

The fillet Mignon was cooked exactly to my order and was very enjoyable. The 160g was big enough for me. The garden salad came out first and was fresh and light. There was a potato in its jacket with my meal and a lovely piece of toasted bun. I would recommend this steak house.

Overall, a good steakhouse, nothing fancy. Grass-fed steaks. As for the food, the vegetable salad is wonderful in its simplicity, there are several dressing options. The carpaccio looks sad, the tat-tar is not a delight. The steaks are a 4-. Overall, it's edible, the kids liked it, the portions are generous.

Hardly particularly tasty, sinewy meat that was tasteless, very little choice of sauce and a baked potato completely drenched in sour cream. Not nearly worth the money. A plus for the good salad before the meal.

My rump steak was medium, rather rare, hence the suspicion that it was forgotten. The Block House on Friedrichstrasse is well located and offers an alternative to the fast-food joints in the area. Unlike other steakhouses and restaurants that call themselves that, you always get consistent, good quality here at a reasonable price. I had lunch at Block House on July 26th, alone. The staff were very kind and understood my limited English. The meat was delicious; I chose the "Mrs." menu, which included a salad as an entree, 180g of excellent meat, their specialty, seasoned and warmed bread, and a potato with an excellent sauce.
