The waitress shouted at me when I asked to pay after the second time with 10 minutes in between! We were there last week and the service was very nice so we decided to come back but not sure today as the quality of the service is not consistent…

Disappointing experience at the Block House branch in Bikini Haus, Berlin Dear Block House Team, My family and I have been loyal guests of your restaurants for many years - especially in your branch on Alexanderplatz, where we have always had an excellent experience. Our visit to your branch in Bikini Haus today was all the more disappointing. Unfortunately, the service seemed like it was on an assembly line: we had barely started with our salad when the main course was already served - without any consideration for our eating rhythm. The used plates were not cleared away, instead our main courses were literally handed to us even though we were still eating. We don't know any behavior like this from your branch at Alexanderplatz. The worst thing, however, was that the “Mr. Rumpsteak” I ordered smelled and tasted spoiled. I addressed this immediately and asked for an exchange. The new steak didn't arrive until everyone else had already finished. It was watery and still had an odd taste. Out of politeness, I ate two small pieces but left the rest. I started feeling sick on the way home - now (it's 11 p.m.) my health is very bad. I'm seriously worried if the meat was spoiled. I am shocked by this experience - especially since I have always valued Block House for quality and hospitality. I expect an explanation and an appropriate response to this incident.

The meal was excellent. But the waitress had no idea. Outside on the board there is a menu for 28 euros, which we ordered but in the end the bill said 31 euros.

Utrolig dårlig service. Vi spørger om et engelsk kort og tjeneren siger bare “nej” og efter lidt viser han så, at man kan scanne en QR kode. Han skynder på os under bestillingen og da vi får den, er min bøf stegt forkert. Vi påtaler det så, og han beder os vise det, skære den over og vi ender med næsten at diskutere med ham. Heldigvis går han ud og laver en ny, som er fin. Ikke et sted vi vil spise igen og smagte middelmådigt.

Lunch was very tasty. We were served quickly at lunchtime and received the food quickly. The lunch offer is great and enough to fill you up! Log cabin is always recommended and a good choice for meat eaters. We would be happy to come by again.

A super friendly and competent team and very tasty food! We were served very friendly and everything went quickly and easily :) we had a very nice evening! P.S.: we personally like it when the coffee in the affogato is still warm - but of course that's a matter of taste :)

Ate here during a weekend in Berlin, had the Mr Rumpsteak. Highly recommended! This steak was incredibly delicious. We got a salad beforehand. The dessert menu also looked good. Service friendly and cozy restaurant. Popular, so book in advance to avoid disappointment

We had lunch here and went for Mr Rumpsteak with salad, garlic bread, fries and sour cream. It was well done but a bit chewy. The medium one was good. The ambience was good but it lacked hygiene and insects were running around on the furniture. The staff could be a bit more attentive to taking requests.

Somehow the portions have become smaller. The fries have the impression that they are being counted. I wouldn't consider the weight of the steak to be a given either. I will enjoy my steaks at home in the future, as I also know the weight. Steaks under 300g are just carpaccio anyway. The service was friendly but for over €40 for an onion soup and supposedly 280g steak with some fries and salad, it was a bit too expensive and I had to have a currywurst in the evening.

Well, I am not convinced. The main course took forever. The fries were wabbly and I got one teespoon cawl slaw on a cucumber slice. To pricy for that quality. Very dissappointing.

Yesterday we finally had really delicious meat to eat again at the Block House Friedrichstrasse, the only downside is the service again, it shouldn't be that difficult for me as a guest to feel somewhat welcome, the basics of service I don't expect an unmotivated, listless waiter. P.S.: Tips are earned!!

We reserved a table there at short notice and luckily got one. Service was relatively quick and, despite the stress, still quite friendly. Food was good, prices were right too. I would say you can't go wrong with a visit there.

A nice restaurant from this good steakhouse chain. I've been eating sirloin steak here forever. Unfortunately, Blockhouse has decided to reduce the meat sizes (160 g) in order to keep the prices down. This often looks like a senior portion. Even if you ask, it is not possible to get a "normal" 200 gram size of meat for more money. And that would be so easy on the menu with 2 different offers and prices. Too bad. Otherwise a nice restaurant with tasty dishes, nice salads, friendly staff.

Staff were amazing, over and beyond due to personal issue which they deal with, with grace and senserity. Food delicious biggest asset was Tim Scheibe, massive thank you for your understanding and help. I would defiantly recommend to anyone!!!!

Die ist ganz gut, direkt am Bahnhof Friedrichstrasse. Der Gastraum ist für ein Steakhaus typeingerichtet. Auf der Speisekarte ist alles zu finden, was das Herz begehrt. Zu empfehlen ist das Rindertatar und das Ribeye Steak. Beides geschmacklich sehr gut und prima zubereitet. Nur das Baguette hätte krosser sein und nicht im Grillsaft des Fleisches liegen dürfen.

Not for the first time, we ordered menus to be picked up. The meat and the baked potato were nothing to complain about. The salad was great as expected. We almost lost our faith when we unwrapped the "Teriyaki Pepper Cream Sauce" and the "Crammed Mushroom Skillet": - 2 whole peppercorns in the pepper sauce - predominantly mushroom stalks (90%) in the "mushroom pan" - the taste can be changed as desired. That ruins the whole menu. We are not used to this poor quality from the Block House on Friedrichstrasse. Too bad

My visit to BLOCK HOUSE Friedrichstraße was amazing! The atmosphere is pleasant, the service was excellent, and the food was simply perfect. I had a steak, and it was cooked exactly as I wanted – juicy and full of flavor. The setting is cozy, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Habíamos reservado un par de días antes y lo recomendaría encarecidamente ya que el restaurante era muy popular. Para empezar comimos sopa goulash y una pequeña ensalada... la sopa estaba muy sabrosa, y la ensalada bien presentada. Entonces ambos elegimos filete mignon... ambos cocinados exactamente según lo ordenado. ¡Desafortunadamente no hay lugar para el postre! El personal hablaba buen inglés, pero estaban felices de probar nuestro alemán muy pobre, eran atentos y muy educados. El restaurante está en una buena ubicación, muy fácil de llegar y accesible. Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra velada 😀

Éramos un grupo de 10 damas que nos visitaron para almorzar. Nuestra camarera, Anja, era muy amable y manejó nuestros pedidos sin ningún problema. Teníamos una mezcla de comedores de carne y vegetarianos y había un montón para elegir en el menú. El ambiente del restaurante era bueno. Los baños están abajo, sin embargo, tienen un baño separado para cualquier visitante discapacitado. El precio de las comidas son muy razonables, así como la elección de bebidas. Todos pagamos por separado, que Anja manejó muy bien. Sin duda lo volveré a visitar.

The food was OK to good, the steaks were expertly cooked. I've never seen such small portions in a steakhouse (I don't mean the meat): never even such a tiny lava cake. By the way, the Italian salad dressing is not made with olive oil. Kudos to the service: fast, attentive and friendly. It was very crowded, which is good for the restaurant, but has a very negative effect on the noise. In order to understand your table partner, you have to talk quite loudly, which in turn adds to the volume. Comparatively, it was relatively expensive, but that was also due to the location. Conclusion: you can definitely eat here if you are nearby and then go to the theater afterwards. Coming here just for the restaurant is less worthwhile. But I'll definitely come back if I have to go to the Distel or the Admiralspalast afterwards.

The tastiest steaks I've ever eaten!!! We were at the restaurant on Saturday evening and had to wait for a table. But while we waited, they brought us free wine. When ordering a steak, they also bring salad, baked potatoes and bread. The salad is brought almost immediately to eat while you wait for the steak. Everything is incredibly tasty. The service is also good. I wholeheartedly recommend this institution!!!

very good experience. the restaurant is centrally located and is within walking distance of most things in the central area of ​​berlin. They serve great dishes and I chose the American Tenderloin. it tasted amazing and was cooked perfectly! it wasn't the cheapest but it was definitely worth the price. I could probably have paid a little more for the same product. The venue is nice. This was a really nice place to spend my mother's 50th birthday.

The one place I was excited to eat out in Berlin was the Block house and it definitely lives up to the expectations. They have a wide variety of Stake offerings with adequate sides with bread and salad. The licther was too good. The most electric part was the service- good English spoken guys doing service and English menus are available. The sitting arrangement can improve as there is always a long queue and waiting for 15-20mins. Keep up the good food guys.

Wow, I can’t believe what a great experience it was dining here. My boyfriend and I are visiting from Canada and were looking for a nice dinner date. We found this place next to the hotel and decided to try it out. Something that really stood out to me was the exceptional service despite being fully packed, and how seriously they took my nut allergies. Our server read the allergen menu and checked everything. The food was delicious and my steak was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend checking it out!

Great steak, and salad. I recommend the rib eye mastercut. The only thing I don’t like and I went to the place 4 times from january 4,2025 - january12,2025 . every time I feel a racism vibe.

We were there again after a long time and were thrilled. Food was great as usual, but the service was absolutely great. We had to wait in line for a bit in front of the restaurant, but a lady at the restaurant took such great care of the customers, regularly letting us know how long it would take, etc. The restaurant has a children's menu and immediately something for them to paint/play with little ones. Mi marido y yo vinimos aquí para cenar y nos quedamos gratamente sorprendidos - fue muy bueno. La ensalada viene con una selección de aderezo y tuvimos ajo - había una mezcla de ingredientes estándar de ensalada con semillas de calabaza - encantador. El bistec fue cocinado a la perfección. No me gusta la crema agria así que pedí mi chaqueta sin lo cual no hubo problema. El pan de ajo que viene con él era delicioso! Compartimos un pudín. Precio razonable por la calidad. Buen servicio. Recomiendo.

Very nice restaurant and was pleasantly busy. No reservation and already a table after 15 minutes. While waiting we were given a drink from the company. The food is very good and tasty. Tender meat and great service. The food was prepared quickly and definitely recommended if you are in Berlin. I would definitely come back again. Price and quality ratio is top.

Today I spontaneously went to Block House Friedrichstrasse around 5 p.m. A very friendly employee asked me whether I wanted to sit at the counter or at the table. I chose the counter. I was served very friendly and politely. My waiter was Mohammad Deek. A very friendly and attentive young man. Because of the direct proximity to the counter, I got drinks directly from the "barman" (trainee), also a very considerate, friendly employee. I enjoyed the food very much. I had skirt steak from the regular menu and also opted for a “pre-salad” for €3. This was freshly prepared by my waiter and was very rich and tasty. The sirloin steak with fries, garlic bread and coleslaw garnish was also very tasty, well seasoned and hot! This was definitely not the last time I came here. I'll be back next time I visit Berlin! Many thanks to the whole team, you do a great job and you can tell that you enjoy your work and enjoy feeding people. See you soon!

Even though I'm from Berlin and tend to avoid places that are overcrowded with tourists, I was very excited. Food was great. Steak very tasty and to the point. Salad and baked potatoes are also great. They even put some sourcream on the table. One of the few steakhouses where I have experienced this. Our waitress Luise was great. Friendly, patient, always keeping an eye on the table. Always a kind word and a smile despite the store being full. Many waitresses can take a lesson from this. I would definitely go there again. The star deduction for the ambience is due to the size and because the crowd is a bit hectic.

Unlike most chain restaurants, this Block House on Friedrichstraße stands out with its unique charm, offering not only the signature Block House quality but also a distinctive atmosphere that makes it a special dining experience.

It was just great. We received a friendly welcome at 7 p.m. on New Year's Eve without a reservation. Great service, fun evening.

We tried Tomato Bruschetta Beef Carpaccio as a starter and liked it. Main course MR. RUMPSTEAK and New York cheese burger were very delicious and juicy. We preferred it well cooked. For dessert, Apfelstrudel was also good. We are very full. It's too much. Even one plate of main course is enough for 2 people. The environment is very nice and high quality and the staff are very nice, polite and helpful. I made a reservation.

Fui allí hoy 30 / 12 / 24 y el lugar estaba muy ocupado. Como estaba solo, me metieron enseguida. Me enseñaron el menú y opté por la ensalada de gambas que venía con un buen trozo de pan de ajo y un Ribeye de 12 oz que también venía con pan de ajo, papa chaqueta con crema agria y una ensalada lateral. El servicio era excelente y el personal muy atento y siempre preguntando si la comida estaba bien, lo cual era obvio. Mi consejo sería reservar con antelación ya que cuando me iba, todavía había de 10 a 15 esperando fuera por una mesa disponible.

Good welcome and very good meat

Very bad, I always enjoyed eating there. But yesterday was horrible. Kitchen dirty, poor quality meat full of tendons, coleslaw salad old and had nothing to do with a standard dish. We are good guests and our bill was 130 euros plus tip is 140 euros. It wasn't worth it. You should definitely carry out a quality control.

Absolutely delicious. It was my first time here and we visited as a team for lunch. I have absolutely loved this place. Had American Tenderloin as steak with mashed potato with salad in Italian dressing, also carrot-ginger soup, tomatoe-bruschetta and tomato-burrata and french fries as side dish, lava cake with walnut-caramel ice cream. And every single one of these tasted absolutely delicious. As it was not enought how a good meal all we ate was, we were once again schocked by the amazing dessert:) Wonderful quality and fast and also kind service. We had a blonde mid-aged gentleman serving our table and he was super nice.

The food at this place was great. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars for service was because we came in an a 10pm and the restaurant closes at 11. We kind of felt rushed and noticed the servers annoyance with us coming in. Mind you we were out of there by 10:45 so that either shows the food come out fast or we were rushed. Nobody was rude to us directly at all. Anyhow beef tartar is a must have. I didn’t take pictures as it was so good and I was hungry. The steaks were perfectly seasoned cooked to the perfect temperature. Also I am not a bread person but the bread was so good😌. Restaurant wasn’t busy for Friday night either and walked in no reservation needed. Took pictures of the aftermath of the delicious food. Empty plates show I will definitely come back again.

My friends luv this place...with a trip to Berlin Xmas markets this was a fabulous end to our day...we came in the waiter was very polite & spoke good English..we seated straight away....I had my very first steak here & it was fabulous 👌 would most definitely recommend & would luv to go back if I get the chance...so Thankyou x

Queríamos un buen filete para el cumpleaños de mi esposa mientras estábamos en Berlín y eso es exactamente lo que teníamos. Este parece ser un restaurante de cadena especializado en filetes. Vimos dos en Berlín. Fuimos al de Friedrichstrasse. El servicio es rápido y eficiente, también agradable que reconocieran el cumpleaños de mi esposa con un par de vasos de bienvenida burbujeante, y luego vinieron dos tazones de ensaladas con una selección de aderezos (todos incluidos en el precio). Ambos fuimos por el corte maestro de ribeye, ya que realmente nos encanta ribeye, y el corte maestro es el tamaño más grande que hacen. Era lo suficientemente grande, y venía con una patata al horno y un pan de ajo. Pedí cambiar mi papa al horno por papas fritas y no fue ningún problema. Bajé con una botella de Cote de Rhone y nos fuimos felices. En resumen; ¿Fue el mejor filete que comimos? No, pero más que aceptable. ¿Volveríamos otra vez? Probablemente sí. ¿Precios razonables? Definitivamente sí ¿Calidad y servicio? 9 de 10
