I waited 20 minutes. When I asked for my order I was told it would come immediately. After half an hour I decided not to wait any longer...my order somehow got lost!! Never again!!!!!!!!!!
For me, the Frittenwerk in Düsseldorf Bilk is by far the most atmospheric of the chain's three locations in the city. The atmosphere is modern, urban, and definitely invites you to linger – especially in the summer when you can sit comfortably outside. It can get crowded inside, but if you don't mind sharing a table with others, you'll usually find a seat.
The quality of the food impresses me time and time again. The fries are crispy, freshly prepared, and the toppings are varied and creative. While the prices are on the high end for fast food, they're absolutely justified for the quality offered. I'd particularly like to highlight the friendly service: The team is always cheerful and helpful.
Orders are placed at two modern self-service kiosks that are intuitive to use and make the ordering process pleasantly uncomplicated. Frittenwerk is also dog-friendly – a plus for anyone who doesn't want to leave their four-legged friend waiting outside.
As long as the quality remains this high, Frittenwerk Bilk will always be a regular stop for me for delicious fries with that certain something.
Delicious food and relaxed atmosphere
I was at the Joh. Albrecht brewery in Düsseldorf, outside in the beer garden. The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff friendly. I had a baked potato with sour cream, fresh mushrooms and a mixed salad - everything was fresh and well seasoned. The beer from our own brewery was also impressive. A nice place for a relaxed meal with good beer.
Quality of the food was very good. You can sit outside. Vegan options. I think mayonnaise and ketchup for €1 each is completely overpriced. With a drink, French fries and currywurst you end up with almost €15. Unfortunately, service wasn't the friendliest either.
Nice pub with a lot of flair and enthusiasm. But the fact that only one student is out and about at lunchtime and his heels are bloody is quite intense. I and the other guests felt very sorry for the poor guy.
A great location if you want to eat great. I ate schnitzel with mushrooms and fries there. The food was very tasty and the portion was really generous. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is really great there. Absolute recommendation goes out here.
Essen ist sehr gut, aber auch sehr teuer.
Mitarbeiter in der Gastronomie sollen gut bezahlt werden, aber Preis-Leistung stand hier in keinem Verhältnis.
I wouldn't normally give a star for the service. The food was actually quite good. But the waitress was so unfriendly and unsympathetic. The bowling alley was getting old, but not completely shabby. When we came in we were greeted by the waitress in an unfriendly manner. There were twelve of us and we would never go there again.
We have been doing our family Easter brunch there for years - we are always spoiled and feel at home - it would be a shame if this location no longer exists.
