Radisson Blu Conference Hotel, Düsseldorf in Düsseldorf

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. The walls between rooms are made of flimsy, flimsy stuff. I endured six days of torture where the neighbors wouldn't stop talking, as if they were right there in my room. After complaining to reception and them being surprised by my complaint... they did absolutely nothing. I do not recommend this hotel. Not only because of the terrible rooms, but also because the staff, despite being aware of my complaint, did absolutely nothing. I will never return to this second-rate hotel that pretends to be a luxury hotel. Luxury and amenities are useless if you can't rest and sleep soundly. AWFUL

Good hotel, great breakfast buffet. Very nice (omelet) chef 🤩 However, the rooms are very noisy, the beds are too narrow, and the shower could be better separated.

Reception service could be improved! The room was very nice, but very warm – despite the air conditioning being set to the coolest setting – and with the window open, there was a disturbing noise from the street traffic and trams.

No support from the reception, the taxi did not want to print the receipt for me, the reception washed their hands of it and did not help me to mediate

Everything was great, but the pizza in the restaurant was world-class.

I really like the hotel. The service, the friendliness, the rooms, the breakfast. I think everything is just right.

I was a guest at the hotel for 2 days and everything about the stay was great, however my father forgot his jacket in the hotel and after asking I was rudely told to write an email, however despite several calls and further emails no one has responded to date, which is a shame.

I wasn't going to write anyone else about the dirty carpets, but just as I was about to go to bed, I saw bunches of women's hair on the carpets, and it made me sick. I won't blame the staff, but if they're short-staffed, please hire new staff. How can such a disgrace even exist? Thank you for taking such prompt action and having the room thoroughly cleaned.

A very nice hotel with comfortable beds and very friendly and helpful staff. The location is excellent, and the bar is well-stocked with high-quality spirits.

The curtains in room 222 were torn, the bedside lamp was broken, there were hairs in the bathroom, and stains on the ceiling... We definitely cannot recommend this hotel.

A very solid, clean hotel with a good breakfast and friendly staff. It's also well located for both the Old Town and an event at the Arena; the tram stop is less than a two-minute walk away.

We were there as a family. A large family room and a good breakfast. As a Radisson VIP, we also received two vouchers for the bar. It was great for me.

I stayed at the hotel on business. A lot of things were fine, but some things really bothered me, so only 2 stars. Why 2 stars: dirty toilet seat (urine stains), stain on the shower towel, stains on the bed cover, soap dispenser was empty, breakfast price was almost 30 euros and the overnight price was far too expensive for the quality. We had a seminar on the 1st floor. The next toilet was 2 floors lower in the basement. But there was a smell there, which had also existed the evening before. Painting was going on on the ground floor, which smelled of solvents, and moved up to the upper floor. The windows including the frames in the room could also use a cleaning. The hotel is also a bit out of the way. The bed was comfortable, it was quiet, the TV was large, the shower was good, but the bathroom was under water after the shower. Some of the staff were friendly.

I stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel for a conference and overall I really enjoyed it. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, and everything about the conference was well organized. The meeting rooms were well equipped and the food during my stay was okay. My room was spacious and comfortable, although the floor wasn't completely clean - there were still a few crumbs lying around. The room was also a bit noisy; I clearly heard my neighbor in the room talking on the phone at one o'clock in the morning. Despite these small defects, overall everything went very well. I therefore give it 4 stars and would definitely come back.

Very good hotel. Staff friendly, room was clean. The breakfast was very rich. Location quiet. Transport connections are ideal with two train lines in the immediate vicinity. What should be noted, however: - The pool has been permanently closed for a year, but it is still advertised here on the Google profile — directly from the hotel. - The air conditioning in the room did not cool well. It was over 24 degrees in the room. - The rolls at breakfast were not good. Small, hard and sticky. At a 4 star superior hotel I expect good bakery rolls, especially in Germany.

You can tell that the hotel is a bit older (signs of wear, bathroom in the room, etc.), but the service is really top and the breakfast is also good.

The hotel needs to know how great their front desk staffs are. Especially the Argentinian lady, she is amazing. She really has brilliant customer service skills and beautiful smile. I visit this hotel for my work and as soon as I see the entrance of the hotel it makes me to walk in to the hotel with a smile due to her hospitality.

We were at the hotel on business. The location is great, the beds in the renovated room were very comfortable. Unfortunately, there were some things we really didn't like: - long black hair in the shower - Shower wall doesn't line up with the floor, so the room was flooded - Air conditioning didn't work, it was incredibly hot in the room - My colleague did not have the window unlocked and a fan provided as promised - Breakfast is not worth 28 euros, coffee with lactose-free options is not possible, selection is poor, fruit tastes like it has been frozen - The fragrance dispenser in the entrance area was really bad, it killed you, - Colleague's carpet dirty - not enough parking spaces from the hotel

The location is very quiet and good for rest. You can either take the tram or walk to the centre. For me, it takes around 20 mins. walk. The rooms are nice and clean. The restaurant is very nice. And the staff is just amazing! They're very smiley and hospitality oriented. Especially there's a lady in the reception who speaks Spanish. She is awesome!

Overall it was good. Very nice service at breakfast. Unfortunately, I noticed on the second day that there was a separate breakfast room for VIP members with a menu. Highly recommend pancakes.

Nice business hotel with comfortable beds and a good breakfast. The staff was mostly friendly, especially in the restaurant. I spent two nights here during a trade fair. Parking was quite limited for the size of the hotel and quite tight. The location was very good!

I spoke to Omar from the reservations department today. A disaster! The employee was either drunk or stoned. Communication with him was impossible; it would have been more helpful to talk to a wall. Why do you hire people who damage your reputation?! Train your employees!!

The hotel is ideal for anyone visiting the Düsseldorf trade fair or stadium. The trade fair is a 15-minute subway ride away. The breakfast is plentiful and the room was spacious. The sauna was in operation during our stay. The pool was still unusable.

Room, amenities and location are great however I must point that the hospitality by the staff are super! Very nice and kind people. However, I left something during my last visit any emails I can contact to? Thank you!

We were at the hotel for the seminar, it went well and the food was excellent

We only had one night. The hotel was nice. The staff a bit annoyed. The room was ok, unfortunately the telephone didn't work. We were at the Christmas market in the evening and unfortunately I fell. At the hotel I asked about a laundry service, which unfortunately wasn't available. I was offered to pick up the pants on Saturday evening and I would get them back on Monday morning. It didn't make any sense because we left on Sunday. I asked for a clothes brush, but that wasn't there either. I would have liked that with a 4* Hotel requested differently. I think if we are in Düsseldorf again we will choose another hotel.

The hotel was great, except that the toilet in the room smelled like the previous tenant had used the toilet.

Business hotel. Drinks are pricey. About a half hour walk to Altstadt. Service reception a bit irritated (it was a Christmas market weekend so busy). And we didn't like the smell in the lobby (kind of house perfume or something) and it was too overpowering. Rooms fine. Nice pillows and beds. Parking is available in the private parking lot for 24 euros per day or in the street (free). There is also an option for electric charging, but it was difficult. We were only able to charge after trying 3 charging stations.

Perfect.. Staff very friendly, rooms great, great price and the location is also convenient by train. Unfortunately there are only too few sockets, otherwise everything is fine.

I was there for work, being exhibitors at the Valve World fair. Beautiful, apparently. There was a problem at check-in because they had the system down and they gave me the room a few hours after arriving (in the evening...). Nice and quiet room, but not clean: I immediately noticed a small piece of plastic on the carpet, then lines of mold on the tile joints in the shower and, the icing on the cake, looking under the bed for fear that something had fallen, I found a ball not mine. The only positive note was the breakfast, very abundant and varied.

Hotel and breakfast are good. However, I booked the hotel because of the sauna and pool. Both have probably been closed since June. No information about it to be found. No discount. I am very disappointed.....

Once again in Düsseldorf for professional reasons! Stayed here again. As always, everything fits. The hotel and the staff are prepared for all the challenges of business travel and you feel completely comfortable!

A wonderful hotel in Dusseldorf, quiet, clean. The room and bed are spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom, may God bless you, is spacious and clean, but there is no bidet for the toilet. The reception and restaurant staff are very elegant, helpful and kind. Parking is not free and is expensive, and the hotel policy is that they do not have a luggage transfer service to and from the room. It is well priced and worth a repeat visit. The breakfast is excellent, varied and very delicious. There is no toilet, and the room does not have facial tissues.

I always enjoy coming here on my business trips. The rooms are very good and despite the size of the house you feel like you are personally looked after - very nice and competent staff! In addition, it is reasonably quiet. It's only a 5-minute walk to the banks of the Rhine. The breakfast is particularly worth mentioning - it's not exactly cheap but it's actually very varied and the team responds to individual requests.

Already quite dusty. Pool and sauna were closed… Staff super friendly and accommodating, but the best years are probably over in terms of rooms/equipment

Service and reception was very nice.. The room looks okay at first glance.. But lots of dark spots on the light and stained carpet. I'm blonde myself! The faucet is installed the wrong way round...instead of cold, it's warm and turned upside down... And dark hair in the bathtub drain... No go...

When we are staying in the hotel it's very important to have good facilities and equialent to that is very important to have helpful staff.The Front desk team are doing a really amazing job. I am very disappointed with my stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Düsseldorf. When I arrived on 2/06/24, a deposit of €1800 was debited from my Revolut bank. When I left on 7/06, I was billed an additional €2,200 via my BNP bank for the entire stay (i.e. a total of €4,000). This double debit surprised me, especially since the initial deposit of €1,800 was never refunded. I attempted to contact the hotel several times to resolve this issue, but the customer service was not only ineffective, but also extremely rude. One employee hung up on me, another put me on hold without further action, and a third person (Barbara) blamed it on using two different cards. A hotel of this category should offer much better and more professional service. From the outside the hotel doesn't look that exciting. But the rooms are spacious, comfortable beds and great breakfast. Right next to the tram. From here you can easily reach everything in Düsseldorf. 🔝

Excellent hotel, clean, comfortable beds, bright. Extra hair-drier (super welcome). They have an equipped fitness room and a swimming pool (small 10 metres). I would review the restaurant menu, not very healthy but good. The passage in front of the bar is not very practical for those who have to go to the gym or swimming pool in a bathrobe in front of people eating. I would find a way to make the transition more comforting for guests. Super breakfast!

I can recommend the hotel for a shorter stay. Rooms are large enough and clean. Overall, the hotel is a bit outdated. Breakfast sufficient with enough choice. Staff very courteous and nice, the restaurant is not to be recommended as far as the food is concerned, you get better in Düsseldorf.

Superior room modernly furnished. Rain shower. Windows could be tilted. Very small sauna, relaxation room, swimming pool all in one room. Very cold in the gym. Only visited, not used. Good breakfast buffet. Parking lot quite far behind the hotel, garage very dark and low, upper parking level behind the ramp is better

A very nice, somewhat upscale hotel. One night without breakfast costs €140. Everyone was super nice. Food also looked very tasty.

There is a swimming pool, enough to swim a few lengths. There is also a small sauna. Breakfast was sufficient, everything was available and the service staff was very nice. Otherwise the hotel is clean but a bit old.

The staff is absolutely incompetent. When I arrived tonight I was told your hotel was fully booked. At around 10 p.m. they wrote to me asking whether I wanted the room or not... (Unfortunately, due to a last-minute change, it wasn't possible otherwise) In response to an email 30 minutes ago this morning, my IP address was blocked so I can't even visit the Radisson Blu site... To me this shows absolute incompetence and I can't understand it in any way!!! Especially not if you run a 4 star hotel!!!

My gold earrings and my pearl necklace were stolen from my room, outrageous! No recommendation, I have never experienced such a situation.

Very nice staff. Okay food. Good rooms. Very expensive.

It is insanely unhealthy with room temperature of 23-25 degreee with the window open. The airco is turned off as it is spring and the heater some how heats up all rooms even if you turn it off. My whole body itches from the bed and heat. The swimming pool is small for two people so not worth going to the pool if you have kids.

As always, a very friendly check-in, we got the room we requested and are looking forward to the great breakfast buffet tomorrow

Ideally located for me. Breakfast is very plentiful and lots of choice. All the staff is always friendly. I have been a regular customer at this establishment for years. The rooms are always clean and nicely furnished. Certainly not the newest hotel, but very well maintained. I always use the swimming pool and gym.

Unfortunately the hotel is very old. The conference rooms seem old and uninviting, the ventilation is a disaster and in the toilets there is only a single soap dispenser for 4 washing places. This was also quickly empty and was not refilled. Unfortunately, the food was only sufficient to insufficient. Especially the mushy cooked vegetables and the cheap pastries during the coffee break. The pastries would probably taste better even in youth hostels. However, transport connections are very good.

Stayed on business recently and it was an excellent choice. Very welcoming and professional staff, large, clean room with views out over the city. Quiet and comfortable nights sleep. Very convenient for the ubahn network also. Would definitely stay here again.

We were in Düsseldorf on business (boat fair). Hotel has a great location just a few meters from the tram to the trade fair. Otherwise ok as a conference hotel. Beds were great - more than 5 stars for that. The breakfast clearly needs improvement.

Die Zimmer sind super schön, groß, sauber, gut ausgestattet. Ansonsten hört man leider den/ die Nachbarn im Nebenzimmer, wenn es lauter wird. Dennoch würde ich nochmals hierher kommen.

Ich war zu einer Veranstaltung dort. Das Buffet war vor Corona Besser gewesen. Die Show war wie vor Corona wieder mit guten Künstlern/Künstlerin besetzt. Hier würde ich noch mal einen Applaus gerne geben.

Super gelegen Hotel . Mann ist nur 4 Stationen mut der U-Bahn vom Zentrum entfernt. Personal war sehr freundlich. Nach dem Duschen war der Bodem außerhalb der Dusche such geduscht .

Wir waren zwei Nächte über Silvester dort. Erst einmal vorab positiv: Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter am Empfang und an der Hotelbar. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker. Das Personal im Frühstücksraum etwas gelangweilt.Die Zimmer sind modern und großzügig. Aber….. das Zimmer war völlig verstaubt ( Staub vermischt mit Haaren) , die Tür war mit schmuddeligen Handabdrücken besiedelt, das Wasser in der Kaffeemaschine stand schon länger im Tank, Flecken in der Bettwäsche und das Klo war auch nicht sehr gut anzusehen… Der Service wurde informiert und eine freundliche Dame staubte wenigstens das Regal ab. Die Silvesterveranstsltung machte alles wieder gut. Sehr guter Service. Trotzdem ist das Hotel weit von 4 Sternen entfernt.

Der Wellnessbereich an sich ist sehr gut, aber nicht auf die Besucheranzahl ausgelegt, weshalb es da stellenweise, vor allem in der Sauna, etwas eng wurde. Wir waren an Silvester in der hauseigenen Bar. Teilweise wirkte das Personal dort etwas überfordert, was auch gar nicht das Problem ist. Das Problem war, dass wir um 03:00 Uhr angerufen wurden, damit wir zu dem Zeitpunkt sofort die Rechnung für die übrigens überteuerten Getränke bezahlen. Das ist eine Frechheit, wenn man bedenkt, dass wir schon vorher bezahlen wollten, aber man nur "aufs Zimmer" buchen konnte. Das Frühstück war jedoch in Ordnung, obwohl manche Speisen schon sehr früh weg waren. Bei den Zimmern war nichts auszusetzen. Alles in allem ist das Hotel dennoch empfehlenswert.

1 aardige dame bij de receptie, verder onvriendelijk personeel. Wij konden eerder de kamer in en het kinderbedje wat wij bijgeboekt hadden zou later komen. Toen wij ‘s avonds laat terugkwamen in het hotel; geen bedje. De bedjes waren op. We kregen een grootbed, maar daar kon onze kleine van 1 niet in. Met zijn 3e in een bed van 140cm geslapen. De kamertemperatuur was zeer hoog +-23 graden. Met zijn 3e in 1 bed was daardoor niet te doen. Relatief hoge extra kosten: - Parkeren 24euro p.d. Je kan overal in de omgeving gratis parkeren. - Ontbijt 28euro p.p. Positief; - mooie kamer - goeie douche - met 4 tramhaltes in het centrum - warm zwembad

The place is located close to the main hun and takes atleast 5 mins to reach the city centre. Overall a great experience

Superior? Nein! + Zimmer und Ausstattung, in Nähe Straßenbahn, nette Dame am Sa. Nachmittag beim housekeeping (brachte Handtücher). - Personal am Empfang und Bar. Kein nettes Wort, keine Frage nach Taxis oder nach dem Aufenthalt bei Check Out.... Nichts....bei Anreise gestern Abend werden Arbeitsinterne Dinge vor Gästen besprochen. Muss nicht sein. (In dem Haus steht die "Massenabfertigung" des Gastes im Vordergrund). Werde hier nicht mehr buchen! Frühstück: Sortimentsbreite für 4 Sterne Standard und okay aber es sollte klar sein, dass man ab einer bestimmten Uhrzeit Platten mit Speisen vorbereitet haben muss. Wieso fehlt es ab 09;30h durchgehend an fast allem????? Da ist es schon super, dass bei Ankunft der Tisch desinfiziert wurde. Bar: Das Personal dort stand eng zusammen und war eher mit sich selbst beschäftigt. Keine Aufmerksamkeit gegenüber dem Gast. Da kam es dann für das Personal gerade richtig, als man erneut zur Bar ging, dass man auf die Schließung der Bar aufmerksam gemacht wurde (auf Nachfrage). Das ist alles was RADISSON zu bieten hat?!

After few years back and it remains very good. Some trouble with lifts and overload of people but all in all very good.. Breakfast one of the Best around but come early.. this morning not even bread available, shame they don't refeel it once required, staff at breakfast few of them very helpful others just neglecting any Customer requests..

Sehr schickes und modernisiertes Hotel in guter Lage. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältniss war gut. Klare Empfehlung.

Met de taxi ben je tussen de 15 en 20 euro in het centrum. Heerlijke kamers en fijne bedden. Deur van de badkamer sluit niet wat wel eens vervelend kan zijn als je de kamer met iemand deelt. Ontbijt is prijzig maar zeer uitgebreid.
