Frittenwerk Schadowstraße in Düsseldorf

I waited 20 minutes. When I asked for my order I was told it would come immediately. After half an hour I decided not to wait any longer...my order somehow got lost!! Never again!!!!!!!!!!

Fries were of poor quality, lots of dark spots on the fries. I asked for new fries, but I didn't get them. They don't know the word service. I left the fries standing. I also wrote to the Frittenwerk headquarters, no answer............ I don't eat anything here anymore, there are better places.

Order, pay, collect. It gets crowded at lunchtime. If the weather is nice you can also sit outside. Large selection of fries and sweet potato menus.

Simply great! The food was super tasty – the fries were crispy, the toppings were fresh and perfectly balanced. The service…super friendly, fast and attentive. You immediately feel comfortable! The ambience was also convincing: modern, clean and inviting. There is attention to detail here. Absolute danger of repeating – we will definitely be back!

The sauces were missing and the waitress is very rude and chewed gum. The establishment was dirty and the bathroom had not been cleaned for days.

The food is good as usual with reasonable portions. Unfortunately, the service is only semi-good. We asked for extra sauce and were just looked at stupidly. In addition, 10 minutes before closing time, the squeaky chairs were moved and stacked on top of each other - while we were still sitting inside and eating. This was very annoying and seemed like they were signaling us to leave. I understand that you want to finish work early, but disturbing paying guests just isn't possible. I'd rather go to the old town.

I only ended up here because I didn't have enough cash for Fritten Piet (a few meters away). I just wanted fries with currywurst & mayo. It costs just under €9 here, which is quite expensive for such a simple meal. What can I say: they taste like nothing. simply boring! No salt on it but even adding more salt doesn't help here. The sausage had definitely been on the grill for a while because the skin around it was already hard and dry. Plus, the sausage tastes like it was fried instead of fried. To top it off, fried onions and parsley were added on top. simply fits 0. Conclusion: clearly no. is just a hipster overpriced store. I'd rather go a few meters further to Fritten Piet. You can get really good fries for less.

For quick hunger in between meals. The service is only behind the counter, but very friendly. The restaurant is a little cramped. It is also very tight at the seating counters. Otherwise: The sweet potato fries are always awesome.

We were here last February (forgot to post a review) It was so delicious and I thought the price was really reasonable for how much you get. I can still think about it now, it was so delicious! The atmosphere and service are really great and the food is really heavenly ♡

Loading is the very last thing. Orders are repeatedly canceled and you wait for your food. It doesn't work that way. Frittenwerk must adhere to Lieferando’s delivery conditions. This has to get better.

Never again. I once placed a small order in advance - had to pick up 2 portions of churros myself. I arrived at the time stated in the email - they hadn't even started with my order yet. Ok, I waited 15 minutes even though it was a work day and almost no one was sitting there. This can happen sometimes, I could wait. My 2nd visit today around 4 p.m. I didn't order anything complicated or big - garlic fries with currywurst and churros. Another 15 minutes of waiting time - ok, it's Sunday after all. Everything except churros was ready. Conclusion: I brought home absolutely hot churros and cold fries with sausage. I live within a 5 minute walk of the branch and I think this is not normal. And currywurst with garlic omelets without curry and garlic? So, similar situations are not a coincidence, but a pattern. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone. I only give 2 stars for food taste and quality. In my opinion they are good.

I had lunch there today. The first free table was dirty (greasy) but there was still a free clean one. The food looked nothing like the menu, the fries completely soggy and soggy. What was put on the fries was probably very wet. The staff is hectic and inattentive. After my good experiences with the frit factory in Aachen, I was very disappointed with this frit factory.

Saturday, December 21.....According to the reviews, it was a nice store to have something to eat. Cozy frites...so hopeful. The weather wasn't good so it was full and we sat outside under a canopy. After waiting a while we received a tray with 4 portions of fries with different toppings. It looks great, but after the first bites it turns out that they are certainly not Crispy fries, but just undercooked and not crunchy sticks of potato. For us it was a one-off.....I would miss it next time. Maybe we were just unlucky because it was so busy

The food is ok. But.......service has to be informed twice that something was forgotten (water, mayo). In addition, if an XL portion is ordered, no children's portion may arrive. The photo shows everything. With the queue at the checkout, complaining about it was pointless. Well, not a recommendation. There is no love for food here.

5***** De Luxe and so clean that there is no better. The service was excellent and we were helped straight away because we only had cash and didn't know how to use the terminal. The food was totally on point and we will eat currywurst with fries here very often. Greetings from the whole family, THANK YOU!!! Nice atmosphere in the shop, but unfortunately the food isn't worth the money by any stretch of the imagination. Unfortunately, the fries are really bland and hardly salted, this vegan stuff to top it with is hardly edible even for vegans. The pulled pork is disgusting, I had to put it away from the fries...Sorry, but I can't give it more points for that.

"If you like imperfect system catering, Frittenwerk is the right place! It was really impressive how the team managed to turn a simple chip shop into an experience that takes a whopping 25 minutes until you get your food - and that just for two portions of fries! During this time you could almost forget that you were in a fast food restaurant. The price is particularly noteworthy: 32 euros for two portions of fries! Who knew potatoes could be worth so much? This really is a new definition of “value for money”. So if you like culinary adventures and are happy to spend a little more to wait longer, you shouldn’t miss this place!”

As always very tasty, but this time I got the wrong drink, the garlic fries were normal fries and the mayo was completely missing. But you didn't get the feeling that the staff enjoyed working there (except the young lady).

Drinks were warm, french fries were okayish, sauce was not that good. It is a self service place. Funny thing, the machine you use to order asks if you want to leave a tip after you put in your order... Amazing.

We had to wait 20 minutes standing to be able to pick up the food. You could see how bad the mood was among the staff behind the counter. The work processes seem chaotic. The food wasn't good. Only the 5 tiny falafel balls were delicious and crispy. It was difficult for us to eat for hours in the stomach.
