The food was very tasty, the service at the checkout was quick and friendly, but unfortunately the place was completely littered.

The garlic fries are delicious and highly recommended. Unfortunately, the barbecue sauce I ordered with them was too cold, so I'm deducting one star. Otherwise, everything was great!

We wanted to grab something tasty for dinner. On the way, we passed Frittenwerk. Although ordering from the machine is a bit cumbersome, as you're constantly and insistently offered additional products – which, of course, isn't the fault of the owners – we were very happy with the food and the friendliness of the staff. Thank you!

My visit to Frittenwerk was unfortunately a complete disappointment. The food was cold, even though it was practically empty – the fries and sauce were lukewarm, and the cheese was already solid. I spoke to the employee about it, but her reaction was simply unprofessional: "What am I supposed to do now?" – no apology, no attempt to resolve the issue. On top of that, the overall impression was unfriendly: no smiles, no interest. I also found it particularly disturbing that some employees were working at the counter with their hair down – an absolute no-go in the food service industry. The concept of Frittenwerk sounds good, but the execution here was disappointing. For me, one thing is certain: never again.

After visiting the most beautiful cigar shop in Germany (Cigarworld), we also needed to satisfy our inner self. We're happy to drive a bit for good fries, as you know if you read my reviews often. Unfortunately, factory-made fries are often sold in Germany. But here at Frittenwerk, we were pleasantly surprised 🤗. Really fresh fries, and quite good too. I give them a 7. It's a shame there aren't many real snacks. Perhaps they'll expand that selection... The location is nice; everything is nicely decorated both inside and out, there's plenty of space, and, importantly, the staff is friendly and helpful. Since I'm in the area regularly, I'll definitely be back.

I've already picked up some to-go and ordered some, but both are of the same terrible quality. The churros are a total disaster. And the order is incredibly bad. Just mash everything together and hope it will somehow reach the customer... how doesn't matter. The main thing is that it's cold, and since it's cold, you can taste the old grease from last week... Look at the picture, it says more than a thousand words.

It's outrageous to charge a deposit for a meal here and not inform them...how many people have you done this to and charged 15 cents per meal...because the box for the bottles is outside...and no one knows they're paying a deposit... This is a disgusting company philosophy...simply sad

This is unfortunately the second time I've found a black hair in my fries! The first time, I was standing at the checkout, and I was ignored. The ladies had put their phones over the fryer to make TikTok videos instead. After 10 minutes, they started laughing and told me that only one of them was working there. When I got to work, I found the black hair in my food after the third bite. I thought, okay, it can happen, but I'm starting to find it really annoying! Today I ordered, and there's another black hair. You don't eat anything all day, and then you get something like this after waiting for over an hour!

I recommend that those in Dusseldorf try the restaurant.

Delicious menus. There are often long lines and seating is unfortunately limited.

Chicken sticks have been replaced with bites. Three pieces cost €3.70, which is pretty cheeky for a bite the size of a marble. Furthermore, the bites are significantly less flavorful than the sticks. The Quebec poutine fries were good, as always. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant.

No other chip shop has such delicious food!

Disappointing experience – unfortunately, not recommended. We had hoped for more, but were disappointed. The fries were very greasy and barely seasoned. They also clearly skimped on the sauce. The salad was tasteless, as was the chicken – overall, unfortunately, a rather bland dish. We both felt nauseous after eating, which only worsened the overall impression. Maybe we were just having a bad day, but we won't be eating there again.

We eat at Frittenwerk often, but this was our first time at this location. The currywurst was quite spicy, but bearable. The regular house fries, however, were so oversalted and, oddly enough, spicy that they were inedible. For context: We can both normally tolerate a normal level of spiciness.

I ordered Montreal, as always, and it tastes best when it's cooled down a bit. Always happy to come back.

We used the delivery service on a Sunday and had three poutines delivered to our home (one BBQ pulled pork poutine with sweet potato fries, two Make It Your Own fries boxes with Montreal-style bowls and regular fries), plus one Falafel Love (12 pcs), and the Pistachio White Choco Churros for dessert. The delivery arrived within 30 minutes as advertised, was complete, and there were no complaints. The food tasted very good, the fries were nice and crispy, and the portion sizes were decent. We ate the falafel the next day, and they were still very edible, as were the churros. Overall, we found the quality to be as good as usual, even if it differs a bit from the poutine we had the pleasure of trying in Montreal last year :-) One star deducted is the price - it could be €2.00/€3.00 cheaper for the perfect price-performance ratio for us, so we'll stop by more often ;-)

11.90 euros for nothing! They didn't manage to prepare a portion of fries for me within 15 minutes (yes, at the train station, you're bound by time limits) and they unnecessarily overwhelmed customers and staff (!) with code names. A first impression that will probably last forever...

Terrible service! It's a disgrace. Ordering in an empty store and waiting half an hour for your food because apparently all the Uber and Lieferando services that appear out of nowhere are served before you. And then, 20 minutes later, you're reminded that you're still waiting for your food, and only after a long discussion does it even get prepared. That's embarrassing and anything but customer-oriented.

Absolutely Delicious! A Must-Visit for Pommes Lovers! I recently stopped by Frittenwwrk for a quick bite, and wow – what a treat! I had one of the most delicious wurst I’ve ever tasted. Perfectly grilled, juicy and full of flavor! The crispy golden pommes (fries) were the ideal companion – crunchy on the outside, fluffy inside, and seasoned just right. The staff were friendly and quick and the whole place had a clean, vibrant vibe that made it a pleasure to eat there. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick snack or a satisfying street food meal, this spot delivers!!

Delicious, clean, fast, and friendly. Nevertheless, I only go to this chain on rare occasions. Because the usual Frittenwerk problem remains: €13.05 for a small portion of fries with topping, 5 falafel balls, and a 0.33 l Coke is way too expensive. Added to that is the chain's typical deposit scam: Even if you eat there, you're still charged a deposit for the drinks. If you don't look at the receipt and simply place the bottle in the prominently placed box, Frittenwerk pocket another 15 cents. In large quantities, it's certainly worth it.

For those who prefer something lighter, there are also salads and delicious desserts, as well as a good selection of drinks. The interior is modern and functional, but feels somewhat cold and anonymous. The atmosphere is enhanced by the lack of personal contact – orders are placed via a self-order terminal, and direct interaction with the staff is limited to serving food. A friendly "hello" or "goodbye" is unfortunately often missing, although the employees seem dedicated. The outdoor seating is worth mentioning, which is particularly inviting in summer. Overall, Frittenwerk is a good, uncomplicated stop with creative food for all ages – perfect for a quick, delicious break.

Fries were of poor quality, lots of dark spots on the fries. I asked for new fries, but I didn't get them. They don't know the word service. I left the fries standing. I also wrote to the Frittenwerk headquarters, no answer............ I don't eat anything here anymore, there are better places.

Order, pay, collect. It gets crowded at lunchtime. If the weather is nice you can also sit outside. Large selection of fries and sweet potato menus.
