Curry in Düsseldorf

The food is mediocre, and the service, in my opinion, isn't friendly. I waved for help four times, but I received no attention. No card payments, but as a guest sitting outside, I only find out when I pay. When I ask why this has to be the case in 2025, I'm met with a "that's our business." Never again.

Regular customer for years. Fries excellent, currywurst also very good. But now over €10 for currywurst fries mayo is simply outrageous. Too bad. No longer an option for me.

Extremely delicious currywurst with various sauces. You can also sit outside with a view of the Gehry Houses. The service is very nice and quick. Ideal for the lunch break.

The curry is definitely my number 1 in the area when it comes to currywurst and burgers. The food is just perfect. The fries are homemade and pretty inexpensive. The selection of sauces is plentiful. Only recommended!

We had the Curry Wurst, a Cheese Burger and Pommes. The Curry Wurst and Pommes were good. However the Burger I would not recommend at all, I expected a homemade beef patty and a brioche bun, and what I got was a super market frozen patty and a supermarket dry bun which was not brioche. The burger is 9 euros which is a lot for what they served. The service is pretty good and quick. I would go again but would never order the burger.

Delicious currywurst, but sometimes rock-hard French fries. My impression: there were leftovers fried. I mentioned this when making the payment, but I couldn't really see any insight. The advice to just let me know straight away so that you can get new ones doesn't help me when I'm under time pressure and the wait for a fairly simple order seems relatively long. Too bad

We really enjoy going there. Good food, normal prices and the service is overall okay (with a few exceptions). Seating could be a little more comfortable. But that's probably intentional so that people don't linger too long.

It's always delicious here. It's a shame that it's the only branch in Düsseldorf. The vegan currywurst is super delicious!! Fries always crispy on point. And the service is super nice and attentive.

The food, the currywurst with fries and mayo, was really stable, so it was okay. Unfortunately, the standard currywurst in the form of a Krakauer or something similar didn't convince me 100%. Nevertheless, the fries and currywurst were delicious! But there is a point deduction for the price of the cold drink, an Orangina for €3.90 is definitely the order of the day. But it's just Düsseldorf, lobster and caviar and stuff like that :)

Fries with sauce, and plenty to choose from. So delicious, the sausage is almost a side dish. Burgers are also very tasty. Service is super nice and tries hard, but overloaded at peak times. You should plan on waiting a bit, but the food is great.

We were here on a Sunday morning. My currywurst was only lukewarm, hence less stars. But the taste was really good.

The last time we were here was about 12 years ago. But back then it was very regular. Now for the first time since moving and what can I say, just as great as before. Basically, you come for the great sauces, the fries are ultra-tasty sauce carriers and the rest are really good accompaniments. I'm particularly pleased that I can also get vegan and vegetarian burgers and currywurst here. I'll try that on my next visit.

Super tasty currywurst, well-seasoned sauce, delicious fries and all served quickly, attractively and with very friendly staff. We ate there with 40 people and I only got good feedback from the others. And even the vegetarians were enthusiastic about the alternative dishes. A curry stall to recommend without reservation.

Had the Curry Wurst: I wish I had ordered two! Very good curry wurst. I came to look at the building across the street: Frank Gehry's Neuer Zollhof. I stayed and enjoyed a Düsseldorf beer or two! The service was great. Very friendly, smiling staff. I really appreciate that they were kind to me despite my limited vocabulary of German.

Great restaurant but... why... no... CARD PAYMENT we were there several times and couldn't eat anything because they don't accept card payment... that's how you lose your customers...

The service attitude was terrible. I had to wait for 45 minutes after ordering. After repeated inquiries, the store reluctantly admitted that it had forgotten our order and asked us to reorder. In the meantime, you have to accept the waiter's glare. I advise friends from out of town not to make any mistakes. There are still many restaurants where you can eat.

Been here with a baby and toddler, half empty. After 45 minutes of waiting and everyone around us with food, the waitress realized that she had forgotten about us, terrible service for such a faux pas - the first waiter I asked just rolled his eyes and then asked for the third one If they noticed the mistake themselves, they gave them a short “2 minutes” and no apology, even though they had to re-record the entire order

Anyone looking for a good currywurst will find it here. For the people of Düsseldorf there is also a version with gold leaf. You can sit very nicely outside, a really nice snack bar with a bit of a sophisticated taste. Will definitely come back.

Uno de mis must haves para estar en Alemania era el currywurst, así que mientras subía a la torre de Düsseldorf, vi esta rama de Curry cerca del puerto deportivo y bajé a almorzar. Mi alemán está bien, pero no es brillante, así que le pedí a la empleada que me ayudara con algo del menú, ella era brillante y me explicó todas las traducciones que no podía trabajar. Terminó con curry wurst y papas fritas con salsa de queso y cerveza. Era una porción de buen tamaño, muy sabrosa y la cerveza era una gran adición con ella. Para dos personas llegó a € 27 para el almuerzo, que es bueno. Un montón de asientos interiores y exteriores.

There were two of us there today. The employee who wanted to take our order seemed quite annoyed when she greeted us. To make matters worse, at least four of the burgers on offer were sold out and there were no vegan burger buns - alternatively you could eat fries. We left without anything to eat.

Siamo andati in questo locale rinomato per le sue patatine appena fritte e per i suoi würstel speciali, conditi con curry e altre salse per fare assaggiare queste delizie al nipote. Le patatine sono davvero deliziose, soprattutto quando sono appena state immerse nell'olio fresco. I würstel, sebbene gustosi, non hanno nulla di straordinario, se non il caratteristico sapore tedesco del curry, che si sposa perfettamente con la ricetta. Anche le altre salse offerte sono piacevoli al palato. Il vero tallone d'Achille di questo locale è la mancanza di opzioni di pagamento moderne. Sembra incredibile che, in un'epoca in cui la digitalizzazione è così diffusa, accettino esclusivamente pagamenti in contanti. È davvero un aspetto anacronistico che li distingue dal resto del mondo moderno e che, purtroppo, limita l'esperienza complessiva del cliente. Speriamo che presto si aggiornino e si adattino alle esigenze dei clienti moderni.

Äußerst freche und arrogante Bedienung sowie "Koch" in der Küche. Pommes und Currywurst waren lecker aber Service unter aller Kanone. Da zeigt man als Düsseldorfer seinen Kollegen mal den Hafen und ein vermeintlich gutes Restaurant (weil man es seit jeher gut kennt), da wird man recht frech begrüßt und bekommt sofort dumme Sprüche serviert. Es war kaum was los und da kann man doch froh sein Geld zu verdienen. Der Kunde war leider kein König. Nie wieder, sorry. Nochmal, der Besitzer kann nichts dafür.

This currywurst is a real culinary delight! I was there for lunch during my lunch break today and ordered the spicy currywurst and fries with Joppie sauce. The whole thing cost €9.50, not necessarily cheap, but if you spend that much on currywurst + fries then definitely go here 🤤 The currywurst was not presented on the plate pre-cut and was very evenly fried and nice and crispy all over. The fries were also crispy and tasty and the sauces weren't skimped on either.

Sausages, burger and fries. You don't need anything else. Everything perfection. They also have fruit juices which was unexpected. The passion fruit one was great. Prices are very good for the location. You can park your car nearby and there is a car charger right on the corner.

We come from Puglia, like the primitive wine that Curry offers. The food is good and delicious, the place warm and characteristic and the service offered by Romy was impeccable, the price was right...for the food eaten and the drinks taken. To return.....

Habe zwei mal bei über ubereats bei denen bestellt. In beiden mallen haben die mir die pommes nicht gebracht. Erstes mal als es passiert ist dacht ich alles ok es ist weinachten keiner kommt jetzt für eine Pommes.Der mitarbeiter war auch sehr nett und hat den fehler eingestanden. zweites mal war eine katastrophe. Erst hatte ich eine freche mitarbeiterin die keine ahnung hatte.Als ich mit dem manager geredet habe war alles klar warum sie so redet.Dieser laden hat kein service standart.Alles wurde aber bezahlt und geld wurde mir nie zurückerstatet. Einfach unproffesional auch am telefon wollten die mir nicht weiterhelfen. Mit stehlen macht man keine gute geschäfte. PS beleg hatt gefehlt von der bestellung richtig krumme sachen sind hie passiert.

Perfekte Fritten (außen kross und innen Kartoffeln/weich), sehr schmackhafte Currywurst und leckere Saucen. Ambiente ist super! Tolles Lokal am Medienhafen.

Einfaches Lokal, die Pommes waren gut. Die Currywurst besteht aus 60%aus Rind der Rest aus Schweinefleisch. Aussehen der Wurst mehr wie eine Bockwurst, geschmacklich auch. Die Currysauce geschmacklich säuerlich, leicht Scharf. Schmeckte nach Fertigsauce mit Currypulver bestreut .

Hip, aber Meinung nach überbewertet. Kann man machen, muss man aber nicht. Hier gilt : sehen und gesehen werden.

Einer mit der besten Burger in der Stadt. Die Soße ist super lecker. Hier esse ich gerne meinen Burger. Auch die Buns mit der karamellisierten Außenseite sehr zu empfehlen. Fleisch für mich perfekt gebraten.
