Good, fresh home-style cooking, accompanied by good draft beer. The two of us came in spontaneously on Sunday and were immediately warmly welcomed. Be sure to take a look at the weekly menu. I had chicken fricassee with rice. A dish that you might know from canteens or TK, but not here. Absolutely great. Also the rice. A “simple” side dish that can be messed up a lot. But to the point. The service staff at the guest always ensured that everyone had a full glass.

In the Düsseldorf suburbs you can only find a few quaint middle-class bars. There are increasingly only pizza, kebab and delivery services, which should not devalue their quality. There is still this lovely piece of Düsseldorf at the Bilker Church.

Like a classic tavern with rustic cuisine. I like to meet colleagues or friends there.

After the waitress brought us the beers, my husband changed his mind and decided to order a beer. The waitress got mad at him after that saying that he should have ordered beer with us instead of changing his mind later on. The waitress tried teach my husband (59 years old) a lesson and she REFUSED to bring the beer to him because my husband would have caused her to go back and forth twice between our table and the bar. This is an UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR. The rudest waitress I have ever seen in my life. And then she started re-arranging the chair’s positioning next to us even though there were 3 hours left until the closing time which shows that she did that just to bother us with the noise. Do not go there unless you want to ruin your evening.

You can have a really great meal here, the kitchen makes really great food, you can definitely recommend it and the staff is attentive and friendly. I can recommend a visit if you are in the area

Solid schnitzel, draft beer. Update - food has gotten better.

I was there for a party in the back. Previously, I had dinner with a large group. The ambience is acceptable for an Altbier corner pub. The waitresses were a bit cold and stopped the checkout process within the group. The group had previously been torn apart when ordering food and drinks. In the end I ordered the goat cheese on bread from the oven with salad. A dream!!!

The service is terrible. It says they work until midnight. In fact, they asked us to leave at 11:00. The waitress didn't have change, so she had to give a tip (I didn't want to argue₴). While we were sitting at the table, she watered the flowers and poured water over us. Of course, paying by card didn't work.

Price performance is good. Food came quickly and hot. spent a nice evening there.

Party of four, we all enjoyed our meals. Best schnitzel I've had in a while! Super friendly waiter, cosy atmosphere and good value. We will be back!

Basically we had a nice evening here. Drinks always came quickly, as did the food. However, my schnitzel with fries wasn't that good because the breading had completely separated from the schnitzel. Fries also so-so. The end of the evening didn't go so smoothly, however, as the waitress told me that I should always have cash with me, as you can only pay with cash there. A somewhat unpleasant situation. What surprised me, however, was that there was a note hanging in the window of the restaurant saying that you couldn't pay with an EC card between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. the following day. Then I felt a bit fooled.

Had bowling again today. Unfortunately, as is often the case, we were able to go home after bowling. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve a table for us every four weeks from 8 p.m. We would like to have a few more beers or something else... but that's how it works here!

We had a company party at the bowling alley. With food and drink. As always, the girls were super nice, the food was well served and tasty and the service was, as always, friendly, cheeky and cheerful! So just like you would imagine in a good middle-class restaurant.

Wir waren dort, um Manes Meckenstock zu sehen. Vor seinem Auftritt bestellten wir etwas zu essen. Es waren sehr große Portionen, lecker und frisch. Das Personal war wirklich freundlich und flink, obwohl der Saal rappelvoll war. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Lokal nur weiter empfehlen 👍.

Sehr gute Speisen. Ich war mit einer Freundin am 8.9.23 bei unserem Lokalmatador Manes Meckenstock . Wir gaben sehr gut gespeist, wurden von angenehmen Personal freundlich bedient und haben uns köstlich unterhalten. Empfehlenswert ob mit oder ohne Veranstaltung.

Restaurant mit Saal dran für Veranstaltungen. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hatte im Saal ein gemütlichen Abend verbracht.

Das Restaurant ist recht rustikal und einfach von der Einrichtung her nach meinem Empfinden. So richtig konnte man sich dort nicht wohlfühlen. Der Service hingegen ist wirklich sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr schnell !! Es gibt dort eine gute Auswahl an Speisen, die vom Geschmack her gutes Mittelmaß sind wie ich meine. Sehr kleinlich finde ich jedoch, dass für Pommes zum Schnitzel 30 Cent extra verlangt werden. Ein Unding in der heutigen Zeit ist jedoch, daß NUR Bargeld angenommen wird und sonst keine elektronischen Zahlungsmöglichkeiten !!! Der Kunde wird dann gezwungen zum Geldautomaten zu gehen und dafür dort auch noch Gebühren zu zahlen !!! Daher kann ich hier auch nur einen Stern vergeben !!!

Karneval, die Stimmung war bombastisch.

Waren Essen im Fuchs bei einer Veranstaltung. Wir wollten eigentlich Pommes rot/weiß essen. Uns wurde dann einfach eine Currywurst Pommes geliefert ohne, dass wir die Currywurst wollten. Wir gaben der Currywurst trotzdem eine faire Chance, da es vielleicht eine Überraschung hätte sein können. Leider wurden wir komplett entäuscht. Die Wurst war kalt bis lauwarm und die Konsistenz war nicht sonderlich genießbar. Offensichtlich ist das Interesse nach Pommes rot/weiß ziemlich groß, weil an unserem Tisch mehrere dieses Gericht nachgefragt haben. Empfehlung an die Besitzer: Wenn die Currywurst nicht schmeckt und das Feedback von mehreren Gästen in die selbe Richtung geht sollten man agieren. 1. Andere Currywurst kaufen und heißer anrichten. 2. Pommes rot/ weiß ohne Currywurst anbieten. Personal: Hat nach Feedback gefragt und hat leider sehr patzig / unfreundlich reagiert. Eine Weiterbildung im Service wäre hier empfehlenswert. Freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch.

Ich hatte ein tolle Zeit beim Tangotanzen waß 1 oder 2 mal im Monate am Mittwoch stattfindet !
