NOVO² in Düsseldorf

Very cozy bar, delicious food and top service

Here you can wait until they turn black, you won't notice them. And there wasn't much going on. That's not completely unusual in Düsseldorf, but this is a different league again.

Novo restaurant is a classic bar restaurant format. It has dark furniture and a slightly dim atmosphere. To be honest, it is highly likely to see food scraps on the floor, around the edges of the dining chairs, and crumbs on the tables at this restaurant. I have personally tested this by visiting two times. Additionally, it appears that the chef changes frequently, as the hamburger I enjoyed on my first visit did not have the same taste or ingredients on my second visit. It doesn't have a very long menu. Pizza, a few pasta dishes, hamburgers, and salads. There might be some things I missed. These are what I saw and what we tried as a family. My wife and my little daughter shared a big pizza. My older daughter and I each had a hamburger. It was a big hamburger with 190 g of meat, onions, pesto, etc. It was served with fries on the side. We had 4 soft drinks. The pizza was a classic margarita. My little daughter doesn't eat any other pizza. It was a pretty good pizza. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Overall, it is an ordinary restaurant that will satisfy your hunger.

NOVO offers a welcoming and modern atmosphere. The refined furnishings and soft lighting create an ideal setting for a pleasant evening. Despite the limited list of dishes, I was impressed by their inviting selection. The drinks list is equally popular. The cocktails were very well prepared, highlighting the expertise of the bartender. The waiters were friendly. Their efficiency helped make the dinner a smooth experience. My overall experience at the Novo bar restaurant was extremely positive.

The service staff is very friendly, helpful and very quick. Tiptop and thank you very much! I was in the restaurant for a meeting. I found the quality of the food somewhat disappointing. A convenient shortcut is quickly taken. Melon in November is not a good choice. The dip for the baguette as a starter could not be defined, but it was neither quark, butter nor sour cream. When it came to the steak, no one asked how seared it should be. Unfortunately we had a tough steak well(?) done. Salads are very tasty both on the menu and at the buffet. The desserts seemed to come out of a bag rather than follow the original recipe. Special requirements such as gluten intolerance or vegetarians were well addressed.

Das Restaurant hat ein tolles Ambiente, und sehr leckeres Essen. Wir wurden sehr Freundlich und super Zuvorkommend von dem Restaurantleiter Jenns und dem Team Mitglied Laura bedient und durch den Abend begleitet. Selten so Lieb bedient worden mit einem stetigen herzlichen Lächeln. Vielen Dank und bis zum nächsten mal

Wir kamen erst recht spät und mit leeren Magen im Hotel an. Der Restaurantleiter des Novo war sehr nett und zuvorkommend und hat uns zuliebe die Öffnungszeiten der Küche verlängert. Vielen Dank für den guten Service!
