Bistro-Restaurant "Albatros" in Düsseldorf

The restaurant is just... closed!

The food was excellent, and there was more than enough. The bruschetta starter was delicious! The fries were a bit too salty. It was also very quiet in the restaurant, which made it a bit less inviting. However, we were served quickly and efficiently.

Perfect breakfast (everything fresh and a wide selection) in a cozy atmosphere. Exceptionally friendly staff. We'd be happy to return anytime.

The build-your-own-breakfast has been great every morning I've eaten here. Self-served buffet-style with traditional breakfast food and a few extras. Everything sampled from the morning offering has lived up to our exceeded expectations. Price was decent. Clean and pleasant environment.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente und das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig. Das Abendessen auch sehr lecker und reichlich. Die Auswahl hatte für jeden etwas zu bieten

Vor unserem Flug am 17.12. haben wir im Lindner Airport Hotel geschlafen und auch abends gegessen. Leider war das Essen nicht schmackhaft. Der Salat war schon zusammengefallen und es gab viel zu wenig Brot. Die Preise waren dafür gesalzen.

Anlässlich der K 2019 waren wir hier zweimal essen (waren auch Hotelgäste). Waren beide Male sehr zufrieden.

Cenamos muy temprano aquí con nuestro hijo de 6 meses. Tuvieron la amabilidad de proporcionar agua hirviendo para su comida y ambos disfrutamos mucho nuestras comidas. Dada la hora del día y el hecho de que era un día laborable, prácticamente teníamos el interior del restaurante para nosotros y el servicio nos pareció muy bueno.

Schoen modernes und sauberes Ambiente, das essen wurde sehr schnell geliefert und war warm und appetitlich angerichtet , das Personal war ueberaus Freundlich und fix, gegessen habe ich die frittierte Haenhchenbrust mit Pommes Frittes und Salat ( der wirklich etwas klein ausgefallen ist ) , dafuer gab es unaufgefordert etwas Brot mit dreierlei Butterspezialitaeten, vom Geschmack und Preis / Leistung kann man sich nicht beschweren.

Restaurante de hotel del montón. Bastante grasiento y con poco gusto. Me decepcionó. Además hacía bastante calor y el servicio fue lento. Sirve para una cena rápida en el hotel cuando tienes vuelo a primera hora.

Nice service and the tea was brought to the breakfast table. It wasn't particularly full either. Selection and quality as always very good.

It is a reasonable cantine for lunch at work. Quick and clean.

Wir haben im Lindner Hotel übernachtet und da im Umkreis alles zu war , haben wir abends im Albatros gegessen. Wir hatten beide die Currywurst . Es war eine 200 g große Brühwurst ( keine Rostbratwurst ) mir viel Pommes :-) . Majo und Ketchup wurden seperat serviert ... Vorab gab es noch ein Vorspeise ( Brot ) mit verschiedenen Dips . Die Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Der Preis ist eher höher angesiedelt .

Very nice restaurant, great food and service. Expect to pay about 18-20 euro for main course, 30ish for dinner with beer or wine. They have local classic food and seasonal/thematic offers, in my case Arabian nights. Fairly good overall, but little pricey.

As a hotel gues at Lindner's, I asked for a table for one on the terrace of the Albatros which is part of the same business. On this August 11, at 7:30 pm, the sky was light grey but it was neither cold nor rainy. The waiter refused my request to have a table outside in the most arrogant way l have ever experienced. As a professional of the hospitality service, I was deeply shocked. Eventually I decided to eat out in the neighbourhood and accordingly, can't rate the quality of the food.

Das Albatros ist im Lindner Airport Hotel. Ich hatte ein Wiener Schnitzel, welches zunächst ohne Zitrone serviert wurde und leider recht trocken war. Alles in allem ok und essbar, bei einem Preis >20 Euro erwarte ich jedoch mehr.

Haben dort gegessen weil um das Hotel herum alles zu hatte. Zu essen gab es Erbsensuppe und einen kleinen gemischten Salat. Das Essen war ok- nichts besonderes... Als Amuse geul gab es "aufback brötchen" mit 3 dips. Der Service war gut und das Essen schnell da. Preis Leistung jedoch meiner Meinung nach unangemessen.

Is onderdeel van Lindner hotel. Ze serveren a la carte of je kunt gebruik maken van het zeer uitgebreide buffet.

Only had a pizza and beer from the bar menu but service was very good and friendly. Food was tasty and fresh. The beer was German and cold. I think that says it all.

Организовывали ужин для группы из 20 человек в этом ресторане. Шведский стол могу оценить как средний: холодные закуски вкусные, горячие блюда ниже среднего.

I opted for the Wiener Schnitzel with pan fried potatoes (which is the proper choice instead fries) and had the "Altbier"-Tomato Soup with bacon as a starter. The soup was excellent and appeared to be made fresh in the kitchen. Due to the add-on of Altbier (a typical Duesseldorf kind of beer) and the bacon it got a fine different note than a usual tomato soup. The Wiener Schnitzel was announced as the real version which means ist should be made from veal and not pork. The meat was for sure veal but unfortunately they did not fry it in a pan with butter, and instead put it to fryer. This turned the taste down significantly, while pan fried potatoes were well prepared. For my taste the could have been a little bit browner, but they were ok. The service personnel is very friendly and they provide good service. The restaurant in the back part of the lobby can become a bit noisy when it is busy.

Het ontbijtbuffet was erg goed, veel keuze en goede kwaliteit. Diner was wat minder, vlees was niet heel mals en een beetje flauw. Er was ook geen knoflooksaus, dat miste ik wel. Vriendelijke bediening. Vond het echt super dat mijn hondje mee mocht in het restaurant, die kan namelijk niet goed alleen zijn.

style brasserie cuisine bien, rien à dire sur le service les serveurs sont bien. Les prix sont en rapport de...

I truly enjoyed the Wiener Schnitzel!!! Also the breakfast buffet is pretty damn good. There's not many other dinner options in the area.
