Always beautiful. A real institution in Bilk. Good food, nice atmosphere and friendly service.

Nice beergarden, good for groups, amazing for early spring or late fall catching sunlight in the inner city south. Beautiful for a beer, can't comment in food.

Relaxed, informal, very pleasant crowd, delicious food 😊, great service... I'm thrilled! Addendum: Think about your flowers! Please water, they are thirsty. The poor are completely dry and withered because of the heat from the heating system. That doesn't do your ambience justice. :)

A very nice pub to have a drink in the evening. Large selection of drinks. Unfortunately, the food didn't really impress us.

Eigentlich gehe ich wegen der netten und urigen Atmosphäre immer mal wieder gerne ins Tigges. Heute habe ich mich allerdings geärgert, auch über mich selbst, dass ich nicht vor der Bestellung die Getränkekarte studiert habe. Der frische Pfefferminztee, ca 160 ml., mit nicht sehr heißem Wasser, einem kleinen Stängel Minze und einer Zitronenscheibe kostete 4,50 €. Kein Drama, aber völlig überteuert. Den werde ich zukünftig 500 m weiter im anderen Lokal trinken. Schade.

Beim Service ist noch etwas Luft nach oben, aber ansonsten gilt: Ich komme wieder.

Super stylish, pleasant atmosphere

I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. (Spent half the night in the toilet) Kebab - the little meat was tough, 3/4 of the plate was bread and it tasted like old fat. Then there was some vegetable and tomato sauce. The service was rather inattentive and only came after several calls to take drinks orders.

I was surprised that a place outside was offered even in the colder season as it was completely full inside. We almost wanted to go back, but it's good that we gave it a try. It was very comfortable under the heater in the covered outdoor area. Since it was very well attended, there was a nice, bustling atmosphere.

Very great atmosphere and great as a pub and something to drink! The food was good overall, although individual dishes had weaknesses. With the tigges kebab, for example, the bread in the sauce was cut into small pieces and therefore almost mushy. Overall the taste is still very good. Delicious beer!

I like the place and atmosphere there the food is good what you expect from a bar/pub kinda place but honestly vegan Kebab for thos price is a little disapointing we expected some soy or tofu kinda thing but was just veggies.. Beer is tasty i like the tigges Helles

Ich bin immer wieder gerne im Tigges. Das Essen ist super, die Bedienungen sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist ein schönes, studentisches Ambiente im beliebten Stadtviertel Bilk.

This was our first time at Tigges. The reception and the waitresses were very friendly and attentive. The ambience is probably getting old, which of course also has a certain charm. We were outside in the garden, which looked a bit unkempt. The food took a long time and was plentiful, but lacked a certain kick. But of course everyone can feel it differently. The Tigges has its past and it shows.

Update: Unfortunately the service is now miserable, the new service staff are either extremely overwhelmed or some are just lazy and prefer to chat. Therefore, unfortunately only one star. Great food and good prices, plus a really good ambience. Unfortunately, the service isn't always that good, from annoyed employees to a lack of soap in the toilets.

Quaint restaurant where you can cook according to your own wishes (allergies). I really appreciate that. The food was very tasty, every single service member was attentive, in a good mood and on point, and the music was even great. You can also sit outside. From burgers to Turkish dishes to delicious pasta dishes, the selection is plentiful. Vegetarians are also considered. Top!

Not pretty, but quaint and an institution in Düsseldorf. Everyone loves the beer garden, even though it is right on a 4-lane main road. The food is cheap and okay, unfortunately the menu has changed and you can no longer find every dish that you have enjoyed ordering for decades. The service gets worse every year, more forgetful and can't even apologize if she (!) has completely forgotten something. Overall only 2 stars. A pity.

Super unfriendly service, unfortunately the service doesn't know the map either. Unfortunately it takes quite a long time for the drinks to arrive, even if the shop is empty. Unfortunately, Tigges has deteriorated extremely in recent years; the service is incredibly slow and unfriendly, even when the shop is empty. You have to calculate for yourself how much money you will get back if the drinks you paid for are not there. The waiters don't know the menu and sit in the visitor area with their cell phones, so that as a guest you have the feeling that you are disturbing them. When you're asked for constructive criticism, your boss doesn't even give you the chance because you're immediately treated stupidly and told: "If you don't like it here, just leave." Unfortunately, this is not the first incident and I have heard of similar situations from friends. Very very sad!

It was really a really nice evening. Great service! Food was incredibly delicious - there were 5 of us, each person had a different dish - plus a starter platter for everyone = everyone was completely full and more than satisfied! However: Nothing for the small budget... but every cent was worth it! Additional information: There are also lots of cool vegan and vegetarian dishes!

The food was very tasty, but unfortunately the portion size didn't really match the price. (Chilli Con Carne) Wishes were also missed and the service was clearly very busy…

Not as well maintained as it was a few years ago. The outside area is falling into disrepair - unclean and uninviting. A PITY

The shop itself is well set up, but you are either served or greeted. A park bench has more to offer.

The food is too expensive for what is offered. The köfte taste like frozen burger patties that you get in the supermarket. Also, mine were pre-cut and a quarter piece was missing. With a price of over 18 euros for the dish, around 2 euros are missing. We used to have an evening cafeteria and a dish like that would have been conceivable. Then it would have only cost 5-7 euros.

Very nice, rustic pub. We had incredibly nice service. There was a lot going on on a Monday evening but it was a lot of fun. The food was delicious and, above all, served quickly. The selection of vegan dishes is limited but sufficient. I had an excellent vegan burger.

Negative experience! I got unsalted fried potatoes and asked for salt but never got it. Then they threw us out 10 minutes after paying so others could sit, even though we had all drunk and ordered something to eat. Never experienced anything like this

Iconic pub with good food and a cool beer garden.

We were at a birthday party (20 people) and I only ordered drinks. The wine was at a temperature and the Lillet was also fine. We sat outside and the service was friendly and quick for a completely full Saturday evening in good weather. Everything great.

Great place in Düsseldorf Bilk. Don’t miss their hummus - it is excellent. The garden terrace is one of those places where you thought you would spend an hour and end up spending three or more. Good beer and food, great atmosphere. And a fascinating wall painting to watch.

Nicely equipped inside, worth seeing! Food is relatively expensive, even at lunchtime. That's too bad! Should offer a lunch menu. So I prefer to stay loyal to the other restaurants, which are around €10 to €20 cheaper for two people, but with at least the same quality!

Nice little pub in Bilk where you can spend a great evening with friends. In summer you can also sit outside. Reservations recommended. The prices for drinks are more than okay, but the food is simply hopelessly overpriced. Even though the Tigges Burger with fried potatoes tasted very good and was filling, I found it quite expensive at €17. In addition, the service is very delayed. You rarely see the waiters or are overlooked by them. 1-2 more service staff would be good, which would certainly be feasible given the horrendous prices for the food.

Delicious food, good portions, friendly service

Unfortunately quite a disappointment. Burger tasteless and not well fried, tigges kebab came to the table incomplete and beef fillet was tough. Service was very bad. Chewing gum (it's nice that you can blow bubbles with the gum) the order was taken after ages and we weren't greeted either. The main course came 5 minutes after the starter, which was at least good. It was also only cleared away after we had paid. I would have preferred to celebrate my birthday somewhere else, so no recommendation from me and no further visit

We often walked past a full Tigges and finally made it in with a reservation. The food was average at best according to our taste and the service was unfortunately not friendly. We didn't feel comfortable and won't be coming back for the time being.

Very atmospheric establishment, attentive and friendly staff, delicious food.

For years it has been the restaurant we visit after the Rose Monday procession. Despite the rush, the service has everything under control.

We are excited about everything. Food 1, ambience 1, service 1 - was here years ago and wonder why I haven't been here in so long. This is really a very good tip - you almost feel at home

They don't have any games, but they do have cute waiters + a patio heater without gas to make it chill and sometimes they close the roof outside correctly, otherwise it's really fresh, but recently they didn't close it. It was really fresh 🍻 in Düsseldorf

Nice little shop where you can sit down outside, service was great, I just thought the prices were crazy, I've never seen kebab for €20 in my life, but I can't say much about the food because I only had something to drink there, but my friends said so the food is very tasty

Nice pub with delicious food. We were inside - you sit quite closely and can see everything at the tables next to us. The food was fresh and deliciously seasoned. The Tigges beer was very tasty and I would happily drink it again. The service was friendly and, based on eye contact, attentive.

Delicious food and good service

An institution in Bilk and Düsseldorf's student life. Been around for over 40-50 years, always full to the brim, nice terrace outside and nice staff. Full of students and young people, but no club or anything. The food is good too!

Bei mir kam die Frage auf, warum ich nicht doch lieber noch schnell selbst gekocht habe. Meine Lammspieße mit Bulgur fallen unter einfachste Küche mit mäßigem Ergebnis. Die Bedienung war tatsächlich sehr aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wer noch nie in Kuba war und deshalb die Revolution romantisieren kann, findet hier viele optische Anlässe, um dem zu fröhnen. Eine echte Eckkneipe. Wenn man n Bier trinken will und dann plötzlich Hunger bekommt, paßt es wohl.

Ein Lokal mit sehr sehr viel Stil und Nostalgie. Leider ist die Auswahl bei den Speisen nicht sehr groß und die Portionen eherklein.

Vibe is really good. Staff is really friendly and vegetarian food is delicious. Hopped in last minute for a quick dinner but we’ll definitely want to come back to spend a full evening there.

Ich glaube, ab jetzt meine neue Lieblingsbar! Es gibt eine Vielfalt an gezapften Bieren (sogar aus eigenem Hause, das Tigges Helle ist besonders zu empfehlen), eine noch größere Vielfalt an diversen anderen Getränken und ebenfalls eine sehr ausführliche Speisekarte mit wirklich fairen Preisen! Absolut fantastisches Ambiente, sehr gemütlich, werde gerne öfter vorbeischauen. Zum Essen selbst kann ich bis jetzt noch nichts sagen, aber da bin ich zuversichtlich, was die Zukunft betrifft.

Tolles Restaurant/Bar. Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich, sowohl draußen als auch drinnen und das Essen ist super. Hatte einen Burger der besser war als manche Restaurants die NUR Burger anbieten. Am besten reservieren da hier immer viel los ist. Preise sind zu erwähnen die für Düsseldorfer Verhältnis total fair ausfallen.

Das Köfte würde ich wieder bestellen.

Haben draußen auf der geschützten Terrasse gesessen und einen schönen Abend bei leckerem Essen, freundlichem Service und einem guten Preis-Leistung Verhältnis verbracht.

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, das Croissant warm 😍 Ambiente ist auch toll. Draußen kann man auch sitzen. Wenn ich Mal wieder in Düsseldorf bin komme ich gerne wieder

Nette Kneipe, sehr enge Bestuhlung und extrem laut. Dennoch ok. Tigges halt. Aber das Essen heute, Tigges Kebab, ging gar nicht. Kalt. Ungewürzt. Sehr kleine Portion. Die Rinderfiletstreifen waren zäh, hart und 6 Stück an der Zahl. 50 Gramm Fleisch... vielleicht. Sehr schade.

Gutes Essen, freundliche Bedienung und tolles Ambiente. Es ist ein weiteren Besuch wert.

Good place for a drink and snacks

Wir trafen uns an einem Montag Abend um 18:30 Uhr mit einer Gruppe von 8 Personen. Tischreservierung null Probleme. Das Lokal füllte sich im L. des Abends, es war ungewöhnlich proppe voll, für einen Montag-Abend. Für uns, leider daher zu laut, um sich in Ruhe unterhalten zu können. Service aber super nett, freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisen fanden bei allen große Zustimmung :-)) ...

Nette Kneipe - wie im Wohnzimmer! Das Essen war super lecker und kam schnell auf den Tisch. Gut sortierte Getränkeauswahl: mir hat das Helle Tigges sehr gut geschmeckt.

Great ambiance, delectable food at an affordable cost. We opted for the breakfast for two, which was exceptionally fresh and flavorful. The service was somewhat lacking due to the unexperienced waiters, but it's forgivable. The Sunday morning atmosphere was truly delightful.
