I have never been to a restaurant before where I was so impressed by the ambience, the furnishings and the type of service. The food is absolute madness. The service is friendly and exactly at my level of humor. They also listen to you if you don't know exactly what you want to drink and recommend what suits you. The furnishings and decoration are incredibly ingenious and you keep discovering new details throughout. Unfortunately you can only give 5 stars.

Went spontaneously to the Herchenbach restaurant today. It worked without a problem without a reservation and got another spot. Waiting time perfect, service absolutely great and food was absolutely great. The price is totally reasonable. We'll definitely be back. I would also give it 6 stars. Great traditional restaurant.

A great family business with reasonable prices, friendly service, and varied, high-quality food. Larger parties of up to 45 guests are possible.

We ate there for the first time! It is a very nicely decorated, clean restaurant, with a very friendly and attentive staff. The food is not cheap but worth the price because it was very tasty. That wasn't the last time we were there. Because if you want something special to eat, the table silver is suitable for it. I wish you continued success.

There are 5 stars for all areas. Great, rustic atmosphere with a romantic view of the Rhine, nice, courteous service, fresh, delicious food, a small but fine menu. We'll be back

Very nice hospitality and delicious food.

The burgers are OK. A bit small unfortunately. There's no beer and otherwise it's overall good rather than amazing. I would go again. Just don't expect an explosion of flavor from an Asian burger.

We took a short break to eat while passing through...super tasty and always a pleasure. Reasonably priced and high quality food, I can only recommend it!!

Unfortunately, we couldn't get room for two. Without a reservation, you can't get in on Sunday!

We ate there today. I can only recommend anyone who lives nearby or is passing by and wants something to eat to go there. The quality and price are perfectly fine, and it's one of the few restaurants in the area where the asparagus actually tastes good.

The Ankerbar is one of the most beautiful and hospitable places in Duisburg. Beautifully located on Neumarkt, you can also sit outside in summer. The staff is very friendly and does everything to ensure the guests' satisfaction. The food (pizza, pasta, salads, snacks) is simply delicious and the price is absolutely fair. And the Limoncello Sprizz can't be beat! 😉 We don't want to miss the Ankerbar anymore!!!
