The food was very good for a reasonable price. The guest room is cozy. The waiter was in a bad mood.

For me one of the best restaurants in Cologne. And also good proof that service is simply super important. This one was repeatedly simply the best of the best and still has us raving about it months later, it simply blew our socks off. The food was also great. Unusual despite simple ingredients. The bread, the wine, the ambience is 10/10 with stars. Absolute recommendation. However, reserve! Also very nice to sit outside in summer

A great restaurant with a very friendly staff and very, very delicious food. Everything tastes outstanding! The tartare starter is second to none, and the main courses, whether meat, fish, or vegetarian, are very well balanced and delicious. To finish, there are lovely desserts and delicious coffee. Plus, a great wine list and a variety of beers. We'd love to come back.

We stayed overnight at the Hotel Hopper. Because of an evening event, we were there for dinner at 5 p.m. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the food. Interesting principle, there are small plates and large plates. You can eat two small plates and enjoy different things, or one small and one large plate. Or just a small one or just a big one. For a large plate we had a great fish dish, fried halibut Carrots & common wheat - Jerusalem artichoke & Ponzu price 29.50. For dessert, my wife had semolina flammerie & plum roaster and I had the cheese variation & fresh sourdough bread. Good varied selection of cheese, and the sourdough bread - I have rarely eaten such good bread. And the young woman who did the service was friendly and accommodating. We will come back.

The restaurant is great and reminds me of French cuisine. We loved the magret, the pork cheeks, the mushroom soup and the steak tartare. I will be back! The wine I had was also great.

It used to be a great and cozy restaurant with nice staff and where you were spontaneously welcome as a guest. But it has become more and more chic. High prices and quite small portions. And then this 2-shift reservation... Unfortunately, greed inflation has struck here too. Unfortunately the restaurant has lost its soul. Too bad...

Me and my husband had a lovely dinner here. We had to be seated outside as the restaurant was fully booked. But it was lovely the heater was turned on. Our waitress Rania was soo sweet and lovely. The food was 5*. We had pork cheeks with mash. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Wir hatten das Gänsemenü und waren vom Service und der Atmosphäre begeistert. Auch der Salat zu Beginn und das Dessert haben uns überzeugt. Der Hauptgang war zwar sehr lecker aber die Gans etwas klein. Hier hätten wir uns gern etwas mehr gewünscht. Dennoch ein sehr schöner Abend.

We had the goose menu (€52) at Haus Müller. It was my first visit there. This place has been on my list for a long time. And we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is super cozy, the service was nice and the food was good. Price-performance is okay. In fact, I thought it was a shame that you had to pay extra for bread with the salad (€3.50) and I have also eaten better (more tender) goose legs. I also missed a bit of sauce. The dessert was "simple" but reminded me of my childhood and was very tasty. I'd love to come back again in the summer to sit on the outdoor terrace :).

Very nicely decorated restaurant and great service. However, the food was just mediocre. We had the goose menu, with a salad as a starter and a dessert with vanilla ice cream and blueberry sauce. Overall, all courses were relatively bland. The salad was not very seasoned and had too little dressing. The goose itself was very good, but unfortunately the sauce was completely tasteless and so was the red cabbage. The vanilla ice cream from the supermarket sometimes tastes better than the homemade one here. Too bad. Especially because the atmosphere is really nice and the service is really friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, that's not enough given the price.

Sehr nett eingerichtetes Restaurant und tolle Bedienung. Allerdings war das Essen nur mittelmäßig. Wir hatten das Gänsemenü, mit einem Salat als Vorspeise und als einer Nachspeise mit Vanilleeis und Blaubeersauce. Insgesamt waren alle Gänge relativ fad. Der Salat war wenig gewürzt und zu wenig Dressing. Die Gans selbst war sehr gut, aber leider war die Sauce komplett geschmacklos und der Rotkohl ebenfalls. Das Vanilleeis aus dem Supermarkt schmeckt teilweise besser, als das selbstgemachte hier. Schade. Insbesondere weil das Ambiente wirklich schön ist und die Bedienung wirklich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leider reicht das bei dem Preis nicht aus.

Haus Müller in der Südstadt ist eine echte Perle! Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und einladend, das moderne Design verleiht dem Lokal eine warme Note. Die Küche ist hervorragend – regionale, saisonale Zutaten werden mit Kreativität zu leckeren Gerichten kombiniert. Der Service ist herzlich und aufmerksam, das Team geht individuell auf Gäste ein und sorgt für ein rundum entspanntes Erlebnis. Wer gute Küche und eine authentische Gastfreundschaft schätzt, ist hier genau richtig. Ein Muss für Genießer!

Das Haus Müller ist für mich eine der schönsten Adressen in Köln. Gestern war ich endlich mal mit meinem Mann dort, so oft kommen wir nicht ohne Kids vor die Tür. Ich habe vorgeschwärmt und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Den Apero konnten wir noch draussen trinken, auf der schönen Terrasse, später sind wir dann an einen Hochtisch drinnen umgezogen. Wir haben mehrere kleine Teller gegessen, in drei Gängen. Jedes Mal wurden wir nach einer kurzen Weile gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Wir schätzen so einen "check in" sehr, leider ja sehr selten geworden. Leder war meine Suppe mir zu salzig, ich konnte sie ohne Probleme retournieren und es wurde mehr als kulant mit mir umgegangen, das hat uns positiv überrascht. Die restlichen Teller waren sehr lecker und sehr gut abgeschmeckt (Ziegenkäse mit Salat, Tatar, Enokipilz, Gnocchi) und wir sind sehr happy und satt nach Hause gegangen. Es ist sicherlich nicht das günstigste Essen, aber sein Geld absolut wert. Vielen Dank an das Haus Müller Team!

Easily the best food I ever had in Cologne.

We had a fantastic meal at Haus Muller. While a reasonable walk from the city centre it was well worth it for the best meal we had whilst in Cologne. The staff were really great and understanding of our terrible German and provided English menus and spoke English to us. The highlight of the meal was the steak tartare which was the best we've ever had but each dish was good, I particularly enjoyed their take on the local dish Himmel und Ard with a lovely soft black pudding and fantastic mash topped with a lot of crispy onions. We ordered two large dishes and three small dishes between us and it was more than enough food. Sadly we were too full to try any of the desserts. The atmosphere was nice and the service was attentive without being over the top. We particularly noted the way that the acoustics work in the restaurant meant it wasn't too noisy. There is some lovely outdoor tables outside in the little square.

Wie immer fabelhaft. Mein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant!

Wir hatten uns für den gebratenen Seeteufel entschieden, doch leider war das Gericht sehr enttäuschend. Es war völlig ungewürzt und schmeckte , als wäre es nicht von einem Koch zubereitet, sondern eher von einer ungelernten Küchenhilfe. Für den Preis von knapp 30 € hätten wir definitiv mehr Kochkunst erwartet. Das Gericht war innerhalb von 5 min. auf dem Tisch, was auch eher für ein aufgewärmtes Essen sprach. Positiv hervorzuheben ist das freundliche Servicepersonal, das uns den ganzen Abend über sehr nett bedient hat. Auch das Ambiente des Restaurants hat uns gut gefallen. Dennoch konnte die Küche uns leider nicht überzeugen, weshalb wir nicht wiederkommen werden.

We had an unforgettable experience at Haus Müller, and we owe it all to Angelo and his incredible hospitality. From the moment we arrived, Angelo made sure we felt right at home. He kindly offered us tastings of both white and red wine to help us decide which to start with, and he took the time to explain the menu in great detail, allowing us to make the best choices. The food and the atmosphere were absolutely amazing! The white wine was a perfect match, and the special menu beetroot dish was simply out of this world! What truly stood out was Angelo’s exceptional service. Despite the restaurant being fully booked, when 6 more friends suddenly joined us, Angelo worked his magic and managed to set up another table for us. Throughout the night, he was always there to help, from opening windows to accommodating more requests, including setting up a second table for an additional 8 guests. It was our last night in Koln, and thanks to Angelo, it was made even more special. We can’t thank him enough for his efforts and for making our evening so memorable.❤️

Das tat ich nun "Gott sei Dank" ... wenn ich in der Südstadt ausgehen möchte werde ich nur noch "im Notfall" woanders einkehren!! - Nach zweimaligem Besuch; mein Lieblingsrestaurant !! :-) Und der Service: Alle - aber wirklich Alle, die ich bislang kennen lernen durfte, sind extrem nett, professionell, höflich; einfach charmant !! I ended up there by chance and I have to say the food is A1 and I was surprised by the food myself.

Fantastic place to dine, with a terrace next to a park. Food prepared with good taste and results. They have a good wine list. The service is very good, fast and easy to access. The ceviche was impressive, practically all the entrees were very good. We tried the steak tartare, the black pudding (blood sausage) from Colonia, among other dishes. The price is reasonable for how well they cook, we went for €45 per person and we ate quite a bit with beer and wine included.

The food is of good quality, but I found the prices really high, even though I'm used to prices being higher in other restaurants. We also felt a bit pressured by the service to consume more. For me, one visit is enough. The outside space is indeed nice to sit.

We were there on a Monday evening and reserved the table a few days before. It was a great experience all around. Very good service, very attentive and nice. The food delicious. Lots of choice, both vegetarian and fish/meat dishes. The allergen card is available. We are already looking forward to the next time.

It was my premiere at Haus Müller. And I was a little skeptical about the portion sizes - after all, a Franconian review was quite negative. 😉 Not only did I find the quality and taste of my dishes very good, but I also had nothing to complain about the portion size. The starter and main course together were more than enough for me and if I was a little hungry, the “big plate” alone would have been enough for me: the “Short Rib in Malt Beer Sauce” was excellent. The cozy atmosphere on the terrace under the large tree and the attentive and good service left nothing to be desired.

We were very satisfied. Given the temperatures, we could understand that the service was a bit choppy. We'd love to come back.

We were invited to Haus Müller by friends and it was a phenomenal evening. Everything was right. The ambience, the hospitality and of course the food was unique. We will definitely come back.

It's lovely to sit outside in this weather. Great service, good drink recommendations with the meal, very attentive, friendly and funny. Wines were perfectly chilled. The food was well presented and VERY tasty! We had different starters and main courses and tried each other's dishes. Everything tasted very good! Unfortunately, there was no more room for the desserts, which were interesting to read.

Sehr leckere Gerichte mit feinen Geschnacksnoten, sehr freundliche und umsichtige Bedienung. Und dann ein schöner Außenplatz unter Platanen- was will man mehr?

Immer wieder ein Fest Fantastisches Essen, keine Riesenportion aber sehr frisch mit unglaublich viel Liebe zubereitet, extrem schneller, super netter Service, man sitzt toll dort unterm Baum. Eins meiner Lieblingslokale

The staff was super friendly. The food tastes very good, but you should eat slowly otherwise the enjoyment will be over quickly because the portions on the so-called large plate are very, very small and at the same time have a large price. My wife doesn't eat much, but she asked me to go somewhere else to eat immediately after visiting Müller, which I agreed to. You may want to add some potatoes or other side dishes to the LARGE PLATES. Staff very friendly. PRICES totally overpriced. FOOD tasted good. I don't understand how you can give 5 stars here. You should come to Franconia where 0.5 liters of beer costs €2.80 and a WHOLE half chicken with potato salad and salad costs €10.50. I've finished. Thanks again to the staff.
