Beautiful summer garden and delicious veal heart for dinner.

The food is of good quality, but I found the prices really high, even though I'm used to prices being higher in other restaurants. We also felt a bit pressured by the service to consume more. For me, one visit is enough. The outside space is indeed nice to sit.

We were there on a Monday evening and reserved the table a few days before. It was a great experience all around. Very good service, very attentive and nice. The food delicious. Lots of choice, both vegetarian and fish/meat dishes. The allergen card is available. We are already looking forward to the next time.

It was my premiere at Haus Müller. And I was a little skeptical about the portion sizes - after all, a Franconian review was quite negative. 😉 Not only did I find the quality and taste of my dishes very good, but I also had nothing to complain about the portion size. The starter and main course together were more than enough for me and if I was a little hungry, the “big plate” alone would have been enough for me: the “Short Rib in Malt Beer Sauce” was excellent. The cozy atmosphere on the terrace under the large tree and the attentive and good service left nothing to be desired.

It's lovely to sit outside in this weather. Great service, good drink recommendations with the meal, very attentive, friendly and funny. Wines were perfectly chilled. The food was well presented and VERY tasty! We had different starters and main courses and tried each other's dishes. Everything tasted very good! Unfortunately, there was no more room for the desserts, which were interesting to read.

The staff was super friendly. The food tastes very good, but you should eat slowly otherwise the enjoyment will be over quickly because the portions on the so-called large plate are very, very small and at the same time have a large price. My wife doesn't eat much, but she asked me to go somewhere else to eat immediately after visiting Müller, which I agreed to. You may want to add some potatoes or other side dishes to the LARGE PLATES. Staff very friendly. PRICES totally overpriced. FOOD tasted good. I don't understand how you can give 5 stars here. You should come to Franconia where 0.5 liters of beer costs €2.80 and a WHOLE half chicken with potato salad and salad costs €10.50. I've finished. Thanks again to the staff.

Herausragende Küche. Vorspeisen, Hauptgänge auf Sterne Niveau. Wir wussten, dass es gut wird. Aber es war phänomenal! Der Service war auch super, schnell, aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen schon bald wieder!

The ambience was pleasant and the service was very friendly, to the point where we criticized one of our dishes. The short ribs consisted entirely of fat and cartilage. When we brought this up, we were told very harshly that we should have made our presence known sooner. We were asked if we wanted a dessert as compensation, which we were subsequently charged anyway. All in all, unfortunately, not a very service-oriented behavior, which left everyone in our group with a bad feeling about the restaurant due to the way the service was served. It's a shame, because 5 out of 6 dishes were on point.

Das Essen war wirklich ein Genuss - die Burrata zur Vorspeise und das Maishähnchen im Hauptgang beides köstlich und raffiniert zubereitet. Leider finde ich die Stühle und Tische außen nicht dem tollen Essen angemessen. Sind eben nicht besonders bequem. Auch könnte man das Ambiente ein bisschen mit zum Beispiel Pflanztöpfen gemütlicher gestalten im Außenbereich. Aber in der Hauptsache ist die Qualität des Essens seinen Preis wert👌🏻 Wir kommen wieder !

Wir haben einen wunderbaren Abend gefeiert. Das Essen samt Aperitif und Nachspeise war perfekt, lecker und fein arrangiert. Lediglich ein Punkt Abzug, weil es zum Nachbartisch recht eng war und dass dort so ausgelassene Stimmung herrschte, dass wir nicht alle an unserem Tisch den Gesprächen folgen konnten. - Trotzdem gerne bald wieder!

Wie immer grandioses Essen (bei Vor-/ Haupt-/ und Nachspeise) toller netter Service und eine gute Getränkebegleitung. All das im Flair der charmanten Südstadt! Hier kommt jeder auf Seine Kosten: egal ob Fleisch, vegetarisch oder vegan, alkoholfrei oder mit Stoff - jeder Wunsch wird bedient :-)

Gehobene Küche , Gerichte geschmackvoll presentiert, hervorkommedes Personal aber unzureichend fùr die Anzahl der Gàste.

Mitunter das beste Restaurant in Köln und die Qualität ist konstant seit Jahren sehr gut.

Wir waren zu zweit dort.das Ambiente unter einem großen Baum ist sehr gemütlich. Die Speisekarte ist sehr übersichtlich, was kein Nachteil ist, wenn dann noch alle Speisen zu Beginn des Abends (19.00) verfügbar wären. Sehr aufmerksamer Service, ambitionierte Preise.

Getränke, Essen, Service und Ambiente waren rundum stimmig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und sehr gut gegessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr schönes Lokal. Ich war mit meinen beiden Kindern (7 & 8 Jahre) dort. Wir wurden freundlich und wertschätzend behandelt. Die Kinderkarte kam sehr gut bei den Kindern an! Auch das Essen für die Erwachsenen war sehr gut. Der Service war ebenfalls sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen!

One of the top restaurants for me in Cologne when it comes to eating upscale food in a great ambience without it being too old-fashioned. Always changing seasonal offers and also great vegetarian options. It's not possible to make a reservation outside, my tip: bring your time and enjoy an appetizer in the small square.

My best meal in cologne The restaurant is located off the usual tourist spot of cologne but it is 'the' place that you should dine for exceptional food and atmosphere Food The restaurant serve local fare, but no not pork knuckle. They do have a good variety of options and seasonal menu. I trieed salad and ox cheek. Both are very good. Atmosphere Sitting outside with the wind blows on your face and the cathedral bell, what can be better than that. 🙂🙂🙂 this is prob the closest you can find a local life in cologne. Service, nice and professional. Verdict, its a must place if you are looking for exceptional food and local atmosphere. I spent 50 euro for 1 starter, 1 main, 1 beer, 1 wine and 1 still water.

Everything we ordered was delicious but the beef tartare with truffle mayo was a standout. Probably the best I’ve ever had. We ordered a second. The sourdough bread was perfect. Cucumber Negroni was also a standout, although the pour felt short for the price. The decor and atmosphere were nice, dark and moody, and the music was just the right volume. This place is modern and upscale without being stuffy. Definitely my favorite restaurant I’ve been to in Cologne so far. Will be back.

Das Essen ist sehr gut, das Ambiente sucht seines Gleichen, jedoch nach 2,5 Stunden mussten wir den Tisch räumen. Hier sollte man überlegen, ob man hier den Gästen eine Option anbietet. Zumal wir zu 4 Personen reichlich Essen und Getränke bestellt und für Umsatz gesorgt haben. Der Kellner war mittelmäßig, manchmal musste man ihn an unsere letzte Bestellung erinnern.

Ich hatte Freunde zu einem Überraschungsmenü eingeladen. Der Tisch war sehr nett eingedeckt, es waren Menükarten für jeden Gast vorbereitet und es wurde auf alle meine Wünsche, die ich vorab durchgelesen hatte ( bezüglich Menü und Getränkeauswahl) eingegangen. Es war ein rundum gelungener Abend!

We had a very nice Saturday evening at Haus Müller! The food impresses with its creativity and precision craftsmanship. Great, well-seasoned and varied dishes both with and without meat. The wine list is extensive and the wines are well selected. There are nice aperitifs and also attractive non-alcoholic drinks. The service is professional and at the same time not run of the mill. Very pleasant and refreshing. The atmosphere at the place at the oak tree also ensures that you really feel completely comfortable here. We will be back!

Essen hervorragend, Service mässig. Vielleicht hatte die Servicekraft einen schlechten Tag. Auf jeden Fall hoffe ich, dass diese Dame bei meinem nächsten Besuch nicht da ist oder einen besseren Tag erwischt hat. Für dieses Mal war ihr Verhalten respektlos. Das war sehr schade, da wir Ostersonntag hervorragende Erfahrung mit dem Service hatten und wir sehr glücklich nach Hause gegangen sind, während diesmal der Ärger über das Verhalten der Servicemitarbeiterin das hervorragende Essen und das wunderschöne Ambiente überschattet hat.

Das Haus Müller hat sich aus unserer Sicht nochmal richtig weiterentwickelt. Das Essen besticht durch Kreativität und handwerkliche Präzision. Tolle, gut abgeschmeckte und abwechslungsreiche Gerichte sowohl mit als auch ohne Fleisch. Die Weinkarte ist umfangreich und die Weine gut ausgewählt. Es gibt schöne Aperitifs und auch attraktive nicht alkoholische Getränke. Der Service ist proffesionell und gleichzeitig keine 08/15. Sehr angenehm und erfrischend. Die Atmosphäre an dem Platz an der Eiche sorgt dann zusätzlich dazu, dass man sich hier wirklich rundum wohl fühlt.

It was a lovely evening in a lovely atmosphere with very friendly staff. I was disappointed with the food because of the small portions. Given the higher price range, we expected more. E.g.: Fried quail breast (2 small pieces) Nut butter puree - wild garlic puma (3 - 4 tablespoons) for €14.50 is a sample portion and a mini plate. The food was still of course delicious.

Das Essen war von herausragender Qualität - wir kommen ganz bald wieder!

Very tasty food and nice service. However, I would have been happy if the portions were a little larger.

Unfortunately, the price point and kitchen level do not currently match. Our expectations of fine dining remained unfulfilled.

The map in Haus Müller has become very “fine” (compared to pre-Corona, when the map was a bit “more valuable”). The sea bass ceviche was very good, the ox cheeks with horseradish sauce were solid, the guinea fowl were fantastic! The portions are rather small, but each dish tastes exquisite. The service is very nice and quick. The coffee dessert was nice and sweet, but the cheese plate at the end was better! ;) The in-house sourdough bread is a blast! Many bottled wines <30€. I used to come here from time to time with the company for the Christmas party, but now Haus Müller sees me more often - the menu changes every month! *Anticipation*

The food is particularly delicious. Sometimes there are unusual combinations that are attractively presented. The menu is supplemented by daily offers. The wines are excellent. The blanc de noir is recommended. The best thing, however, are the wine recommendations: truly top class! The service could be a little more attentive from time to time, although this impression arose in a full restaurant. The prices are high. Reservation is necessary.

Best! Sure, you might have to wait here. Sure, drink orders sometimes take a little longer. But hey, you also want to go to the most realistically hottest place in Südstadt and not to the curry stand in Bergheim. The food was really good, I told my mom it was a mix of German and French cuisine because I couldn't think of anything else that would be better. We went to Haus Müller on a Thursday evening, recommended by a colleague. We didn't have a reservation, there weren't many people there around 6 p.m., but later the place was full. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, the service was super nice and unobtrusive. It didn't take long for us to get our food. The dishes and wines were all very tasty, and overall it was a successful evening. We'll definitely come back.
