Nice place, but very small portions, the vegetarian food wasn't great, and the prices were exorbitant. I had two vegetarian dishes (18 €!) and had to eat something else at home afterwards because it was such a small portion. Disappointing, unfortunately.

The food was excellent, albeit quite expensive for the tapas-sized portions, and the service was attentive. A negative point is that you automatically receive a 0.2 cl glass of wine if you don't explicitly specify the amount when ordering – good servers would ask whether you want 0.1 or 0.2 cl. This is obviously an easy way to increase sales. We were also brought two wine glasses, even though only one of us ordered more wine. This detracted from the experience.

All in all, a very enjoyable evening! Delicious Pisco Sours and food, friendly and attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere. The only downsides were the rather long wait times for the food – despite the restaurant not being busy – and the somewhat high prices. We'll definitely be back, though.

I wanted to eat at a Latin American restaurant with a nice atmosphere, but it wasn't possible because the boss wouldn't let us in with our dog. Very, very unfriendly, and I'd never be able to go in again in the future. What a shame.

We had a selection of different tapas, all of which unfortunately tasted bland and boring. For me, they lacked the typical flavors of chili, coriander, and lime. The Pisco Sour was good.

5 stars A wonderful experience at A Comer in Cologne! For the pisco tasting, we were served many small Peruvian dishes - all fresh, creative and prepared with a lot of love. An absolute delight! All pisco-based cocktails were excellently balanced and incredibly tasty. The atmosphere was relaxed, very friendly and familiar – we felt welcome from the first moment. A great lunch that continued relaxed into the afternoon. Many thanks to the entire team! We would love to come back and can only warmly recommend A Comer.

We went for a Pisco tasting today and it was a full 10/10! The hosts are super warm and accommodating. All wishes were catered to perfectly. The food and drinks were not only tasty but also absolutely great in terms of price/performance! We will definitely come back!

Great service, brilliant dishes, you should try almost everything

I love Peruvian food and was really looking forward to visiting A Comer. Unfortunately, I have to honestly say that I'm a little disappointed. In comparison to other Peruvian restaurants in Cologne, the shop cannot keep up. The decor is quite nice, the quality of the food is ok. But the price-performance ratio is simply not right. The concept at A Comer is "tapas", 3 plates per person are recommended. The portions are extremely small, so I only had enough for one main course - and that was 28 euros. Considering I was still hungry afterwards, that was pretty good. I didn't order dessert, but I did order a Pisco Sour, which was good. However, we didn't really feel warmly welcomed; when we asked questions, we were interrupted and sometimes dealt with rather abruptly. We were served that evening by Francesco. The two service colleagues were nice, but we were only able to converse in Spanish to a limited extent.

We were there yesterday and we were so happy about how warmly we were welcomed😊My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and we were congratulated on our wedding anniversary. It's just small things but you immediately feel happy🥰The food was good except for dates wrapped in bacon (unfortunately it was over fried). The rest was great! The service was very inattentive and the counter manager is a bit arrogant. What is there to laugh about when the guest likes to drink Kölsch and a little more on a Saturday evening?! Our luck was to sit close to the bar and independently signal that our glasses were empty and we would like something to drink again. For me that was the first and last time.

Today we had a very nice, enjoyable and fun evening in this wonderful restaurant. The tapas would all be delicious without exception. We look forward to the next visit and maybe even the Pisco Sour Testing.

Update I was at a comer again this evening!. The food and wine were again very tasty, but what we didn't like at all was that the staff looked more at their cell phones than at the guests. We constantly had to draw attention to ourselves and when we left the restaurant, no one even noticed 🙁. We had a really nice evening with great service and very sophisticated and tasty Peruvian tapas.

The furnishings are stylish and cozy at the same time, perfect for a relaxing evening. The selection of tapas was fantastic. Every single tapas was perfectly prepared, full of flavor and with fresh ingredients. The service was first class. The staff was attentive, friendly and always had a good wine or cocktail recommendation that perfectly complemented the food. The small tapas shop is highly recommended. Even though the portions aren't huge, everything is of the best quality and super tasty! We can highly recommend the scampi, bacon-wrapped dates and empanadas! The service was super nice and attentive 🤌🏽 I'll be back!

Really very tasty dishes with flavors that I don't know from classic European cuisine. Every dish had a little taste surprise, but everything was really delicious. There is Peruvian beer, but without a strong taste of its own. Still very tasty 😁 The employees were very friendly, quick and patient.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience. We waited 1.5 hours for our food. The waitress didn't register our order and within an hour she didn't even notice, even though she walked past us several times. When we asked where our food was, she also responded rudely. The entire staff seemed very overwhelmed, even though there wasn't much going on, and we had to repeat almost every order twice, otherwise we wouldn't have even gotten anything to drink. The food that finally arrived was okay, but couldn't save the overall experience. I don't know why we even tipped in the end, it was a waste of money for the poor service. What shocked me most, however, was that no one apologized to us. We'll definitely never come back. A pity.

Sie sind alle nicht nur optisch hervorragend zubereitet, sondern schmecken auch exzellent. Ein Lokal, dass wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und dass wir mit absoluter Sicherheit wieder besuchen werden. Wir haben rund 30 Euro pro Person ausgegeben und waren gut gesättigt.

Es war ein 4-er Tisch für 2 Personen reserviert. Es war ausreichend Abstand zum nächsten Tisch, sodass wir in Ruhe essen und uns unterhalten konnten. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und auch Chef und Chefin fragten, ob alles ok sei. Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt bei wirklich leckeren Tapas.

Basically a good selection of tapas and drinks, you should order 2-3 dishes PP. Unfortunately, the empanada with spinach was not completely warmed up. The biggest drawback: at the end of the evening you smell of fried food from head to toe, including your jacket in the cloakroom. The kitchen should definitely have a better exhaust or a door. The store was busy on a Friday evening, so it took a long time to place the drink order. The service sometimes seems a bit overwhelmed, but everyone is very friendly and helpful. Comfort also depends on the seat.
