A gem of a restaurant at the entrance to Nippes' Neusser Straße! For three and a half years, the Lamia Restaurant has been superbly managed by two young chefs, Dario Adinolfi and Dimitrios Koukoulis, who met under Michelin-starred chef Julia Komp. They recently added a lunch menu. Fish, meat, pasta, and vegetables are offered in designated or surprisingly curated menus and à la carte. Very high-quality, delicious wines, with a focus on Greece and Italy, are also available. There is also a small selection of classic and modern cocktails. Lunch and dinner are a delight, not least because of the very appealing light art works by Cologne artist Regine Schumann on the walls. I recommend a visit to the discerning guest. Very nice surroundings, the decor is stylish. The food was delicious.

We had a double room and a twin room. We parked in the hotel's underground garage, which had plenty of space. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Both rooms were beautifully furnished. The beds were comfortable (the mattresses could have been a bit firmer for our taste). The bar staff were very accommodating, quick, and friendly! Everything was great! We ate in the bar in the evening. The food was delicious, but could have been a bit warmer. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and it had everything you could need for breakfast. The location right next to the Lanxess Arena was perfect for us, as we were attending an ice hockey game that evening. Overall, a very nice hotel, and we would come again.

The food is delicious. The service is excellent, and I'd be happy to go back.
