⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolute highlight! The Tafelsilber restaurant not only offers first-class cuisine, but also a perfect ambience for a special occasion. The dishes are creative, taste excellent and prepared with attention to detail. I was particularly impressed by the high-quality selection of ingredients that harmonize perfectly in every dish. The service is professional and at the same time warm, you feel completely comfortable and well looked after. The atmosphere is pleasant and stylish.

The food was good in the outdated restaurant, the service was mediocre, and regular guests were given preferential treatment. The radio was also playing quite loudly the whole time, so you could hear the news while you ate.

The food was good. The whole atmosphere is very pleasant. What was noticeable was the long service time until the first drink and until the food came. We had to flag down the waitress several times. What was bad was that those in our group who hadn't ordered a menu didn't even get a greeting from the kitchen for an hour and a half. Homemade water for seven euros doesn't necessarily have to be available either. For a restaurant in this price category, your own standards of service should be higher.

We haven't been here for some time. Now we celebrated New Year's Eve there. The event was really great. Ambiance: Great Food: Great Employees: Great Entertainment/DJ: Top It was a really great evening. We then went here again for dinner 3 weeks later. The impression was fully confirmed again. Fine cuisine, great, courteous but not intrusive staff. The slightly higher price range is absolutely worth it. You can go here for any occasion. But it is important to reserve in advance. It was a magical evening with great food, service and ambience. I would like to come back again.

New Year's Eve 2024 - the food was great, as was the ambience - the service stopped coming to the table after midnight, which we found very unfortunate. The air was very bad due to the DJ's "fog machine". One of the two buffets was on the terrace, so there was a draft every time the door was opened (and unfortunately not closed again most of the time). Very cold drafts for those sitting in the adjacent room! Since musical tastes can always be very different - just our opinion - This started very well at the beginning - great dance music - Later, however, other people's wishes were taken into account more, which steered the music more in the direction of "special" ;o). PS: It would have been nice if there had been appropriate music playing outside at least at midnight, e.g. "Happy New Year" by ABBA or something similar. Furthermore, we would have expected that with an amount of 175 euros per person. there would have been a small fireworks display (may or may not have to). Here’s to something new in 2025! All the best!

We were once again thrilled by our visit to Tafelsilver yesterday. The food was prepared very nicely and tastefully.

We were able to enjoy the wonderful Christmas menu. Enjoy a great selection, perfectly coordinated. Great service, nice, competent, and accommodating despite a full house, they spent a lot of time with our child to make it possible for us to eat. We'd love to come back.

The restaurant offers a wonderful ambience and impressed us with its very good preparation for our visit and excellent food. Unfortunately, there was potential for optimization in the service area. The service staff did not have sufficient knowledge of the food and its preparation. For example, no specific information could be given about the veal kebab or the dessert variation. It was only pointed out that the dessert variation changed daily, but it remained unclear what it consisted of. Instead of offering clarification in the kitchen, all we received were vague assumptions. This is particularly critical given the manageable menu: with such a small selection, it shouldn't be difficult for the service staff to know basic information about the dishes. The organization also left a lot to be desired. Coffee and dessert couldn't be ordered at the same time, and after the meal there was little service, making it difficult to order additional drinks. Despite these points of criticism, the restaurant impressed us overall, especially with the excellent quality of the food. We are confident that the restaurant will improve on the points raised and look forward to having an overall positive experience on a future visit.

Great ideas, very good taste of the good dishes, of which you can easily manage 3 courses. The service is perfect. There are always new dishes of the best quality.

Excellent food at a high level. Although there was a misunderstanding during the reservation, the staff went to extreme lengths to resolve it. Which also succeeded. Very attentive table service. It goes without saying that cooking at this level cannot be done cheaply. But the price-performance ratio is absolutely OK. We'll definitely come back

So I have to say it is always a culinary delight in silverware. It's not exactly cheap, but the ambience and food are worth it. I had the 3 course surprise menu and was very satisfied. We keep coming back😋. Oh yes, the service is also great 👍

The food is ok and the location wants to present itself as upscale. We have been there several times because we were invited. We wouldn't go there ourselves because we get the feeling that children aren't welcome. People reacted with irritation in every respect. Even the burning candle should remain near a crawling child. Only one employee responded with understanding. In my opinion, the response to a correction to the order was also defensive. We have had better experiences in this regard in other restaurants and felt more comfortable.

All we can say is: full marks achieved! We had the 4 course surprise menu three times. We were thrilled with the compilation. Very good service that wasn't intrusive and was always there when we had a request. We can definitely recommend it.

This year we celebrated our wedding with a free wedding ceremony and baptism in the Tafelsilber restaurant and were more than satisfied. From start to finish we felt so well taken care of. Everything was really perfect. Our guests still rave about the quality of the food and the great ambience!

Pleasant atmosphere, very friendly service and “last but not least” and therefore the most important “eaten very tasty”. We chose the goose menu according to the season and were not disappointed. Highly recommended! And first the dessert...😋😋😋

We had reserved a large table for over 10 people in the Tafelsilber restaurant. Communication via email in advance went smoothly and we were able to easily adjust the dishes and the exact number of people. It was positive and well organized. We also liked the location itself and the parking options. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. While the starter tasted good, the main course turned out to be bland, sometimes only lukewarm and not as hot as you would expect. In addition, the service left a lot to be desired: the waiters rarely or not at all came to the table to ask for further requests or drinks, even though the restaurant was not completely full. Drinks were sometimes forgotten after ordering or not brought at all. The lack of professionalism of the staff was particularly problematic. A waiter couldn't distinguish between desiccated coconut and white chocolate in the dessert and had to ask the kitchen to ask twice. Payment was also very complicated: some drinks and meals were not billed correctly and had to be added later. Three of our friends had already paid earlier, which clearly overwhelmed the waiter, who later took over the total billing for the group. He seemed unable to understand what his colleague had previously calculated and appeared disorganized. When we jokingly mentioned several times that a forgotten drink could be on the house, the waiter became increasingly irritated. Eventually he became loud and rude and even told us not to come back. His tone and reaction were so inappropriate that it was frightening for all of us. Despite the poor service throughout the evening, we were always polite and friendly and even gave generous tips. This escalation on the part of the waiter ruined the entire evening. Due to the combination of poor service, organizational chaos and unprofessional behavior, we will definitely not visit this restaurant again.

First-class restaurant, very nice atmosphere. From reception to food, everything was well organized, the gentleman who served us was very accommodating and friendly. The food was A1. It was prepared quickly and very tasty. The drinks, especially our own spirits, were sensational! I will definitely spend an evening there again!

I am deeply disappointed with our visit to the “Tafelsilber” restaurant. In a professional restaurant I expect friendly and well-trained staff who know the food and drink menu by heart, process orders confidently and without errors and, if an error occurs, resolve it professionally. Unfortunately this was not the case on our evening. Accounting errors were only reluctantly admitted after multiple recalculations. To make matters worse, despite a generous tip, we were advised not to visit the restaurant again in the future - unacceptable behavior. When someone slipped in the foyer due to a wet floor, the situation was not taken seriously. There was no apology nor was the puddle in front of the counter cleaned up. Instead, we were just laughed at and given excuses. The taste of the food was impeccable - a compliment to the chef - but given such disappointing service, even this couldn't save the evening. We won't be visiting the restaurant again, which is unfortunate as the cuisine had potential.

The table silver is starting. The service was underground. 2 men and a woman, one of whom stood out in a particularly negative way. I haven't experienced anything like that in a long time. Not even in a Cologne pub with köbis, and that's where a rough but !warm one is required! Sound to it. Unfriendly, presumptuous, uninformed, unpleasant, almost annoying or how can you understand wanting to take an attractive young woman home with you because, despite the harsh tone of the waitress (a "well-off" person who is around 1.90 tall). A man with thinning hair) can confidently present the correct calculation result repeatedly without being impressed? Also very grumpy because you want to pay individually despite a mixed, middle-class group of 11 people. And as I said, those involved couldn't do the math either. On the one hand, more people are counted incorrectly several times than the reservation verifiably shows. Admittedly, the number had been reduced beforehand, but it was marked that way on the waiter's reservation sheet! Here we still had to point out the correct addition result; all that was missing was to use a calculator for this first grade task. On the other hand, those involved were hopelessly overwhelmed with issuing invoices for each individual. By the way, that didn't just happen to us that evening, as was loudly heard. Awkward. Towards the end you are then asked not to come back because, in my opinion, they point out repeatedly, quite rightly, that if you can't do the math then it's on the house. An apology for all the mishaps would have been the least, but things like that are becoming increasingly rare. The food is average, but sometimes overpriced. The alcoholic drinks are brewed on site, which is emphasized with a certain pride and should actually highlight the location. To be honest, the atmosphere is nothing special these days. More like the 90s. In summary: Parking space 1- (deduction for lack of lighting), food and drink 3+, ambience 2-, service 6. Having to award another star here insults everyone who has truly earned this one star. And no, don't worry, I won't be coming back. I will also advise my partners from medicine and business not to book this location for any event.

As always, the food was great, the service was friendly and accommodating as always and the ambience is timeless and warm. There were 8 people there, we were also able to pay individually as a group. We always like to come.

Very flexible for food intolerances

We've eaten at Tafelsilver several times. We have also eaten goose several times (but elsewhere). David Lünger and his team positively “shot the bird” yesterday. An incredibly attentive service paired with a cozy, rustic, elegant ambience. The goose was tender as butter, the red cabbage was well seasoned, and the dumplings with butter crumbs had just the right bite. Plus a dark, shiny jus that complemented the dish but didn't overwhelm it. And to top it all off, a freshly made apple crumble. Simply divine. We'll be back, not just next year during goose season, but before then too. Thank you for the wonderful evening!

Service is served at the neighboring table and no attention is paid to empty glasses. Here I would expect the service to check around to see if anyone else would like to order something. Unfortunately it didn't happen several times. In summary, we will always come back and get along with the service because the food is excellent. Maybe we can “sharpen things up” here too.

As always, the food was very, very tasty and perfect. The service was a bit inattentive, especially later on, and didn't encourage people to try dessert or something else tasty, for example. The dessert menu was simply handed over quickly.

A nice surprise, this gift for our wedding - a voucher from “Tafelsilber”! As we recently moved here, we didn't know the restaurant and we're thrilled. We had a delicious meal and all the dishes really had a very sophisticated twist. The furnishings are tasteful, the chairs are comfortable and you don't sit so close together, as is often the case. This promotes conversations at the table and so it was a thoroughly successful evening! A small drawback (almost all restaurants have to live with that these days) was the service, which couldn't give advice, but at least admitted this in a refreshingly open and charming way... We'll be back!

The reservation was super easy and was completed quickly. We were warmly welcomed at reception and escorted straight to our table. After a few minutes we were greeted by the staff, given the menu and the daily special was advertised! After a few minutes, the great service and the lovingly furnished rooms created a very nice atmosphere. The four-course menu was put together according to each individual's wishes and was served after about half an hour. The coordination of the individual dishes was very well chosen and the quality was first class. A special compliment to the kitchen here! Furthermore, the in-house and home-brewed light and dark beer is highly recommended. Overall, the visit was highly recommended and a big recommendation!

The staff was always present, but pleasantly unobtrusive and very quick to serve. What was particularly impressive was the professionalism with which the operations manager kept all the promises that were made to us in advance. Our expectations were met in every respect and we can only warmly recommend the Tafelsilber restaurant. The food is served at good intervals and was a 10 out of 10 both visually and in terms of taste. Not only was the food great, but also the ambience, the service and the entire team. Everyone is extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. We would like to thank you very much for the lovely lunch in your small hall and would choose you again at any time!

Our silverware wedding was an absolute dream! The ambience of the restaurant is beautiful and perfect for a wedding reception. The event room was lovingly decorated and offered a warm, romantic atmosphere that delighted our guests and us. The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly and very professional. We received excellent advice right from the planning phase, and on the day of the wedding everything went like clockwork. The team took care of all the details so we could enjoy the day to the fullest. The food was a real highlight. We found the price-performance ratio to be very fair. The quality of the food and service definitely justify the price. Silverware made our big day unforgettable and we would recommend this place to any couple!

We felt like we were in very good hands right from the first information conversation, and the food was always impressive with its freshness, changing menu offerings and attention to detail. The entire Silverware team is always friendly and responded to all of our wishes and questions about organizing the wedding. We, but more importantly, all of our guests, were completely thrilled by the ambience, also the opportunity to chat in the covered winter garden, and especially by the exceptionally good food (not always easy to do at buffets, but excellent). Everything was fried to perfection, the roast beef was juicy and very tasty, the side dishes looked like they were plated meals, and the pike perch was simply a poem. The highlight, and not just for our grandchildren, was the parmesan wheel at the buffet, a really great idea. We are so happy to have followed the recommendation for a starter plate, because the delicacies were not only beautifully presented, they also had a particularly wide range of flavors. When, for dessert, crepes are made by hand at the buffet alongside glasses of extremely delicious sweets (I liked the strawberry mousse best), then it's somehow a big movie. Dear silverware team: You are simply top notch, starting with the "master of ceremonies", continuing through the attentive service team and (that's just the way it is, please don't misunderstand the others) especially the great kitchen team. Hats off!!!
