We celebrated our outdoor wedding ceremony at Tafelsilber. It was a beautiful day. The ambiance and service were fantastic! The team implemented our wishes perfectly. The decorations they brought with them were perfectly arranged, as was the wedding cake. The selection of drinks at the reception, as well as the accompanying finger food, catered to every taste! All of our guests were thrilled at dinner, too. We had our dream wedding there. We know where we'll be celebrating our wedding anniversaries. Thanks to the entire team!!

We love the Tafelsilber restaurant because it offers a great location for business and private meals. Last Thursday, we were a bit disappointed for the first time. While the surprise menu offered the usual variety, the two appetizers and the dessert weren't what we've come to expect from Tafelsilber in terms of flavor and creativity. Regarding the main course: The meat in the main course was well prepared. However, the mashed potatoes were a bit bland, and the vegetables seemed more frozen than fresh. When it comes to service, we're familiar with (and love) the somewhat cheeky yet affectionate manner of the Tafelsilber team. This time, however, conversations at the table were interrupted, almost accusingly, by a server we didn't know – whether it was about ordering more drinks or announcing the course. While all special requests were fulfilled, our guests felt somewhat disparaged. We will definitely give Tafelsilber another chance and hope that our experience was a one-off and due to special circumstances. That's why we can't give it a rating lower than "3 stars," because overall, we believe this location is valuable and important for the region, and the menu and prices are a fair offer for what is otherwise a truly solid and often surprisingly gourmet-friendly cuisine.

The food is an absolute delight!!

We celebrated our wedding at Tafelsilber last weekend and were completely satisfied. Great food, excellent service, and relaxed planning that catered to all our wishes. We highly recommend it!

Unfortunately, some of the dishes lacked a bit of seasoning (here the pasta with truffle sauce), but this is a matter of taste. I would have expected that if I ordered a starter as a main course, I would have been informed in advance that the price would change.

We were there for a 60th birthday party. Private event. The food was great...the outdoor terrace was very nice...the service was okay...the gentleman at the buffet was very friendly and accommodating...you had to ask for drinks...but that wasn't too bad. Conclusion...recommended.

Definitely worth a visit (even several). We stop here every now and then depending on our hunger and mood and are always happy. The kitchen team delivers impeccably when it comes to our taste. The service is always consistently friendly and professional, only on Mother's Day we had the feeling that the younger ladies were a bit distracted... But we don't take that lightly, everyone starts somewhere and everyone is just human. The ambience is nice, harmonious and cozy at the same time. It's also good to sit outside. Super friendly, attentive, humorous service at eye level. There were eight of us and all the dishes we ordered were delicious. Everything is very nicely presented and the portions are generous.

We visited the silverware three times with several people at shorter intervals. We chose the surprise menu several times, but also à la carte. Modern, creative dishes are offered. Terrific! Attentive, friendly service. I deducted the fifth star because of the dessert. So far it's been average at best. Every visit included a brownie that didn't turn out well. The strawberry pannacotta was quite solid and the taste was not convincing. Dear kitchen team, there is still room for improvement. Last weekend there were ten of us in the restaurant. The surprise menu was chosen several times and we agreed. The main course did not meet our expectations. Thick, dry veal involtini, ratatouille not evenly cooked, strange potato gratin. The dessert, as unfortunately often, was mediocre. Unfortunately, it's no surprise. Mousse, ice cream, some kind of cream and a hard brownie. We won't be eating here anymore for the time being. Good service.

We celebrated our wedding with 54 guests in the Tafelsilber restaurant last Saturday and had an absolutely fantastic day. The restaurant has a great ambience both inside and on the newly designed and covered terrace. The food was incredibly tasty (we received a lot of positive feedback from the guests) and with the large selection of drinks, every guest quickly found their favorite. The discussions in advance with Mr. Otten were uncomplicated and very nice. We had already looked at a few locations before and found that there were often hidden catches (additional costs, noise at the party, end time, etc.) - here there were virtually no catches, everything was well communicated and the prices were more than fair. The staff were also friendly and accommodating across the board, so we were able to really enjoy the day and are very happy to have found this great location for our day.

The Tafelsilber restaurant is recommended for all kinds of celebrations, including small meals. We decided on a buffet. The structure of the buffet, the preparation of the food and the taste, everything was perfect. The service staff was very attentive, all wishes were fulfilled. The ambience is great. The large beer garden is also very nice. Good value for money. We can only recommend the restaurant and would celebrate or eat there again at any time.

We ate there for the first time! It is a very nicely decorated, clean restaurant, with a very friendly and attentive staff. The food is not cheap but worth the price because it was very tasty. That wasn't the last time we were there. Because if you want something special to eat, the table silver is suitable for it. I wish you continued success.

The dishes are creative, taste excellent and prepared with attention to detail. I was particularly impressed by the high-quality selection of ingredients that harmonize perfectly in every dish. The service is professional and at the same time warm, you feel completely comfortable and well looked after. The atmosphere is pleasant and stylish.

The food was good in the outdated restaurant, the service was mediocre, and regular guests were given preferential treatment. The radio was also playing quite loudly the whole time, so you could hear the news while you ate.

The food was good. The whole atmosphere is very pleasant. What was noticeable was the long service time until the first drink and until the food came. We had to flag down the waitress several times. What was bad was that those in our group who hadn't ordered a menu didn't even get a greeting from the kitchen for an hour and a half. Homemade water for seven euros doesn't necessarily have to be available either. For a restaurant in this price category, your own standards of service should be higher.

We haven't been here for some time. Now we celebrated New Year's Eve there. The event was really great. Ambiance: Great Food: Great Employees: Great Entertainment/DJ: Top It was a really great evening. We then went here again for dinner 3 weeks later. The impression was fully confirmed again. Fine cuisine, great, courteous but not intrusive staff. The slightly higher price range is absolutely worth it. You can go here for any occasion. But it is important to reserve in advance. New Year's Eve 2024 - the food was great, as was the ambience - the service stopped coming to the table after midnight, which we found very unfortunate. The air was very bad due to the DJ's "fog machine". One of the two buffets was on the terrace, so there was a draft every time the door was opened (and unfortunately not closed again most of the time). Very cold drafts for those sitting in the adjacent room! Since musical tastes can always be very different - just our opinion - This started very well at the beginning - great dance music - Later, however, other people's wishes were taken into account more, which steered the music more in the direction of "special" ;o). PS: It would have been nice if there had been appropriate music playing outside at least at midnight, e.g. "Happy New Year" by ABBA or something similar. Furthermore, we would have expected that with an amount of 175 euros per person. there would have been a small fireworks display (may or may not have to). Here’s to something new in 2025! The restaurant offers a wonderful ambience and impressed us with its very good preparation for our visit and excellent food. Unfortunately, there was potential for optimization in the service area. The service staff did not have sufficient knowledge of the food and its preparation. For example, no specific information could be given about the veal kebab or the dessert variation. It was only pointed out that the dessert variation changed daily, but it remained unclear what it consisted of. Instead of offering clarification in the kitchen, all we received were vague assumptions. This is particularly critical given the manageable menu: with such a small selection, it shouldn't be difficult for the service staff to know basic information about the dishes. The organization also left a lot to be desired. Coffee and dessert couldn't be ordered at the same time, and after the meal there was little service, making it difficult to order additional drinks. Despite these points of criticism, the restaurant impressed us overall, especially with the excellent quality of the food. We are confident that the restaurant will improve on the points raised and look forward to having an overall positive experience on a future visit.

The food is ok and the location wants to present itself as upscale. We have been there several times because we were invited. We wouldn't go there ourselves because we get the feeling that children aren't welcome. People reacted with irritation in every respect. Even the burning candle should remain near a crawling child. Only one employee responded with understanding. In my opinion, the response to a correction to the order was also defensive. We have had better experiences in this regard in other restaurants and felt more comfortable.

All we can say is: full marks achieved! We had the 4 course surprise menu three times. We were thrilled with the compilation. Very good service that wasn't intrusive and was always there when we had a request. We can definitely recommend it.

We had reserved a large table for over 10 people in the Tafelsilber restaurant. Communication via email in advance went smoothly and we were able to easily adjust the dishes and the exact number of people. It was positive and well organized. We also liked the location itself and the parking options. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. While the starter tasted good, the main course turned out to be bland, sometimes only lukewarm and not as hot as you would expect. In addition, the service left a lot to be desired: the waiters rarely or not at all came to the table to ask for further requests or drinks, even though the restaurant was not completely full. Drinks were sometimes forgotten after ordering or not brought at all. The lack of professionalism of the staff was particularly problematic. A waiter couldn't distinguish between desiccated coconut and white chocolate in the dessert and had to ask the kitchen to ask twice. Payment was also very complicated: some drinks and meals were not billed correctly and had to be added later. Three of our friends had already paid earlier, which clearly overwhelmed the waiter, who later took over the total billing for the group. He seemed unable to understand what his colleague had previously calculated and appeared disorganized. When we jokingly mentioned several times that a forgotten drink could be on the house, the waiter became increasingly irritated. Eventually he became loud and rude and even told us not to come back. His tone and reaction were so inappropriate that it was frightening for all of us. Despite the poor service throughout the evening, we were always polite and friendly and even gave generous tips. This escalation on the part of the waiter ruined the entire evening. Due to the combination of poor service, organizational chaos and unprofessional behavior, we will definitely not visit this restaurant again.

The table silver is starting. The service was underground. 2 men and a woman, one of whom stood out in a particularly negative way. I haven't experienced anything like that in a long time. Not even in a Cologne pub with köbis, and that's where a rough but !warm one is required! Sound to it. Unfriendly, presumptuous, uninformed, unpleasant, almost annoying or how can you understand wanting to take an attractive young woman home with you because, despite the harsh tone of the waitress (a "well-off" person who is around 1.90 tall). A man with thinning hair) can confidently present the correct calculation result repeatedly without being impressed? Also very grumpy because you want to pay individually despite a mixed, middle-class group of 11 people. And as I said, those involved couldn't do the math either. On the one hand, more people are counted incorrectly several times than the reservation verifiably shows. Admittedly, the number had been reduced beforehand, but it was marked that way on the waiter's reservation sheet! Here we still had to point out the correct addition result; all that was missing was to use a calculator for this first grade task. On the other hand, those involved were hopelessly overwhelmed with issuing invoices for each individual. By the way, that didn't just happen to us that evening, as was loudly heard. Awkward. Towards the end you are then asked not to come back because, in my opinion, they point out repeatedly, quite rightly, that if you can't do the math then it's on the house. An apology for all the mishaps would have been the least, but things like that are becoming increasingly rare. The food is average, but sometimes overpriced. The alcoholic drinks are brewed on site, which is emphasized with a certain pride and should actually highlight the location. To be honest, the atmosphere is nothing special these days. More like the 90s. In summary: Parking space 1- (deduction for lack of lighting), food and drink 3+, ambience 2-, service 6. Having to award another star here insults everyone who has truly earned this one star. And no, don't worry, I won't be coming back. I will also advise my partners from medicine and business not to book this location for any event.

I am deeply disappointed with our visit to the “Tafelsilber” restaurant. In a professional restaurant I expect friendly and well-trained staff who know the food and drink menu by heart, process orders confidently and without errors and, if an error occurs, resolve it professionally. Unfortunately this was not the case on our evening. Accounting errors were only reluctantly admitted after multiple recalculations. To make matters worse, despite a generous tip, we were advised not to visit the restaurant again in the future - unacceptable behavior. When someone slipped in the foyer due to a wet floor, the situation was not taken seriously. There was no apology nor was the puddle in front of the counter cleaned up. Instead, we were just laughed at and given excuses. The taste of the food was impeccable - a compliment to the chef - but given such disappointing service, even this couldn't save the evening. We won't be visiting the restaurant again, which is unfortunate as the cuisine had potential.

It was prepared quickly and very tasty. The drinks, especially our own spirits, were sensational! I will definitely spend an evening there again!

We've eaten at Tafelsilver several times. We have also eaten goose several times (but elsewhere). David Lünger and his team positively “shot the bird” yesterday. An incredibly attentive service paired with a cozy, rustic, elegant ambience. The goose was tender as butter, the red cabbage was well seasoned, and the dumplings with butter crumbs had just the right bite. Plus a dark, shiny jus that complemented the dish but didn't overwhelm it. And to top it all off, a freshly made apple crumble. Simply divine. We'll be back, not just next year during goose season, but before then too. Thank you for the wonderful evening!
