€9.50 for a doner kebab with "a bit more meat" would have been tolerable – but the real problem was the quality. The meat was clearly of very poor quality: it looked like mechanically separated meat, and I repeatedly found small pieces of bone and cartilage in my mouth. This is not only unappetizing, but simply unacceptable. Something like that shouldn't be in food. As a result, the doner was barely edible, and the enjoyment was nonexistent. For this price, I expect at least clean, decent meat. I definitely won't be ordering from here again.

Children's kebabs only need 10 to be full.

We had three of the HDD Teller to share between four people and it was super delicious and also enough food for all! Nice place and good location. It’s also open when other places are closed which is a great plus!

Absolutely awful. I was rudely spoken to by an employee and kicked out because I bought a shawarma from Shawarma City. I just wanted to get a drink at Haus des Döners. The guy was incredibly unfriendly. Never again.

The food was very good. The HDD box with chicken unfortunately didn't include any vegetables. I know other stores that offer vegetables.

If you take out the cucumber, take it out.

If you need a receipt or invoice, this is the wrong place. Even after asking, they refused to issue one, and there was more than enough unfriendly behavior. And that was for an order of almost €150.

The staff was friendly, payment was quick, and so was the food. The ingredients looked fresh and it tasted good. It was a great place for a light meal after a concert.

Portions are kept smaller by using small bowls instead of plates, but they're still delicious.

We ordered one chicken and one beef, but the chicken was raw. How could you not see that? The fact that this happens in a restaurant where there are supposedly professionals is completely intolerable. My wife could have gotten sick (the manager changed the kebab for a beef one).

I had a terrible experience in Germany. The staff was extremely disrespectful, and the chicken was overcooked. When we asked for a replacement, he responded arrogantly and spoke very loudly. Definitely the worst experience I’ve ever had.

First, thank you to our Syrian brothers for their kind treatment and cheerful smiles. As for the Arab brother (without mentioning his origins), whose hair is covered in gray hair, you feel embarrassed by him, believing at first glance that he possesses the politeness, intelligence, and tact to handle a simple matter, like taking a doner order without telling you that you are not welcome, and talking about matters that have nothing to do with him. Unfortunately, his treatment was disrespectful and inappropriate, and if the Syrians weren't the ones making the order, I wouldn't have trusted him to lay a hand on it. We have passed many restaurants run by Arabs who are extremely respectful and brotherly, and this is my hope. We are not in a parliamentary or parliamentary district that addresses politics and matters we do not understand at all. This comment is meant to warn and advise, hoping that God will fix the situation.

The best döner I’ve ever eaten. I’m saying this as a Turkish person. We had döner three evenings in a row, and if we ever come back to Düsseldorf, we’ll definitely stop by again.

The behavior of the employees is absolutely unacceptable. One refused to take my order, just collected the money, and then carried on with the next customer as usual. Apparently, they decide who gets served based on their whim. Disrespectful, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. The food preparation is also a disaster. Apparently, none of the employees are capable of cutting the doner meat themselves—a robot does it instead. But even they can't serve it properly: The meat is either burnt or still raw. This speaks not only to a lack of care, but also to a lack of competence. I've had good experiences at other Haus des Döners locations, but also bad ones. The concept itself is good. The quality of the ingredients is good too. But that's no use if the employees prepare everything incorrectly and behave like that. The problem always lies with the employees. As long as nothing changes—neither in the way customers are treated nor in the quality of the food—I will continue to rate this restaurant negatively and tell everyone around me about my experience. Absolutely not recommended.

Meat like rubber therefore inedible

The sauces are delicious. The döner is made with separator meat, but that’s just how they do it here—and it still tastes good. At least the sauces really stand out!

Absolutely standard kebab, but quite large. The bread was very good, priced at €8. The meat was unfortunately a bit too fatty for my taste. The sauce, on the other hand, was quite good, especially the spicy sauce. Update: Now also offering a steak kebab. Solid, but could be even better for ten euros. Update: Steak kebab was unfortunately not available for lunch today (September 25, 2025).

I've ordered food there several times. Each time, I've gotten severe stomach pains. The staff are unfriendly and don't listen. The meat is burnt, there's too little sauce, and there's far too much salad.

Super fast service, that's a huge pro. The atmosphere is really chill, good music but not loud. Toilet were clean. Finally the most important, the food was amazing, the bread, the veggies, the meat and sauces, everything on point! They speak English but not Spanish 😅

Although the taste isn't bad, I can't recommend this place at all. The sandwiches fall apart very quickly in your hand. Too much salad and too little meat. We also had diarrhea afterward, but I'm not sure if that was the kebab's fault.

This is a great place for a quick meal. Really great sandwich. The dude operating the counter was phenomenal. Definitely will visit again.

I wanted to give the shop a try today. I'm not a fan of chains, but I thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, I was denied entry because of my dog. This was the first restaurant and also the first kebab shop where this happened to me. And then they tell me I can tie the dog to the street in front of the shop (main road, mind you) is an absolute disgrace. I have complete understanding for a small, cramped shop, but not at all for a shop this size. And the argument about the open kitchen is just a pretext. Firstly, there's enough space in front of the counter so you don't have to stand right in front of it, and secondly, the dog is 50 cm tall. Besides, open kitchens aren't a problem in other restaurants either. The law doesn't distinguish between them. This is incredibly customer-unfriendly. You certainly won't win any new customers that way. And the pressed meat is certainly no reason to bring the dog home before quickly grabbing something to eat on the way home. #notmykebabman #againstsystemgastronomy

We ate a doner salad , not doner kabab

To be honest, I was very disappointed with this place. The reception was anything but friendly – one employee spoke to me in an arrogant tone, as if I weren't welcome as a customer. This kind of behavior is completely out of place in the restaurant industry. The cleanliness was also poor: The restrooms were very dirty and obviously hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. Overall, a very unpleasant impression. There are many better alternatives in Düsseldorf – I certainly won't be coming back here.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant at all. During my visit, an employee addressed me in a haughty and condescending tone in front of the other customers – completely disrespectful behavior that was completely unprofessional. Furthermore, the restrooms were in a terrible state: dirty, unkempt, and obviously hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. This combination of poor service and a lack of hygiene made the experience very unpleasant. Given the wide selection of good kebab shops in Düsseldorf, I certainly won't be visiting this place again.

Decent place, okay döner (which is not called döner in their menu, maybe because of the legal reasons related to the pure meat proportion), but you can pay by card!

It is a fairly small restaurant with 2 tables of 4 or 5 people and another table for 2 people. What immediately stands out is that everything looks clean and tidy! That's what I like... friendly people in service and behind the counter who prepare the food. They really think along with you. Excellent. The quality of the Dönner kebab was fantastic! Very tasty, normally cooked. Tasty sauces and fresh vegetables with it. Tasty Turkish bread on which it was served. And all very reasonable prices! Recommended to eat or take away food. You can also eat vegetarian with only salads or wraps! And all freshly prepared. For the children a lollipop after the meal if they want or are allowed to. Nice, friendly atmosphere. With 5 people eating and drinking, it doesn't even cost 50,-.

I was on a business trip and stayed at a nearby hotel, so I got takeaway here. The veal was juicy, the vegetables were fresh and well-balanced, and it was one of the best kebabs I've ever eaten. The staff were friendly and lively, and the restaurant was clean. Perfect.

It is manufactured differently than the meat doner made in Türkiye. But the portions are 3 times larger. I tasted both the meat doner and the chicken doner. I think it is successful.

Very delicious food here! Excellent meat, freshly prepared salads, very good fries – I personally would have preferred a bit more seasoning/salt. Service is very good, the food is prepared quickly, and the food is served in wooden bowls – innovative but successful. All in all, a highly recommended kebab.

Take a look yourself and give it a star, even though I explicitly mentioned before that no burnt meat should be put on it.

I ordered a small menu, but it almost seemed as if they had intentionally given me the worst meat. I immediately felt sick. Unfortunately, the staff were also extremely rude, which made the overall experience even worse. That's not how you treat guests. I definitely won't be going back.

Very solid kebab, I like to go there. For me it is important that special requests are addressed correctly and I have never been disappointed.

We entered by chance. We ate some Lamb Kebab Wraps (Durum). Everything is very good. They have a machine that cuts the meat into strips. Amazing. The place is clean and well-equipped. They served us immediately. Rapper ambient music.

Used to be my favorite kebab in Düsseldorf, it tastes really good. Until I saw that the employee blatantly emptied the liquid from the vacuum cleaner used to mop the floor in the sink in the kitchen and scrubbed it. She also put the whole thing in the sink and scrubbed and cleaned it. Right next to the food and then the bowls in which you put the kebab were washed in the same sink. Simply disgusting and it is not allowed! She has to dispose of the water in the toilet or somewhere else and not in the kitchen area. That's why I don't eat here anymore. It's a shame, because the kebab is otherwise very good!
