There was no allergy indication on the menu. They sprinkled a lot of peanut powder as a topping, but I don't know why they didn't mark it. Small bugs come out of vegetables that don't look fresh. The noodles are cold. I'm surprised that the rating is so high. The store is pretty.

Chicken is raw and will not be taken back if I ask, should I still pay for the new dish, so they can definitely fool their customers. You have to give it to them

Well-intentioned 2 stars because the service was nice. But unfortunately we were freezing there, then a door at the bar was open and cigarette smoke came in and the food: we had flying curry green, the menu says avocado, but unfortunately there was no avocado in it at all. The other dish, To Mango Curry, has fresh mango on the menu. Unfortunately we didn't find that either. Too bad 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm vegi and the vegi menu doesn't have much choice. There's oyster sauce in everything and you can't seem to leave it out. The waiter didn't really understand us either, I didn't find this very pleasant. The prices are also very high but the rest is not very right. I wouldn't come here again!

Unfortunately completely not flexible server, whole place is empty but we were not allowed to sit on the bench. We left immediately. In the past the service was muc better.

The three of us were at To1980 this evening. The food and drinks tasted wonderful and were also reasonably priced by Düsseldorf standards. The service was also very friendly.

Here you can sit comfortably and feast on delicious Vietnamese food with a delicious drink. Lots of tables for two. But just having a stool or a bench to sit on makes it uncomfortable to sit in the long run. Many unusual dishes, such as flying noodles :)

Second time here this week whilst I visit Dusseldorf! Delicious Pho and Salad Rolls. The staff were friendly and attentive. The soup really good and filling and the salad rolls and dip to die for. 👌🏼

The smells are delicious the second you walk in! Thankfully lucked out on a table for 4 without booking on a Thursday night approx 7:45pm. Chairs slightly uncomfortable, decor a little kitsch. Menus delightfully had English translations. Non-alcoholic drinks (mocktails) seemed very thin and watered down, sadly, and for that price were a bit regrettable. However, the food was just sublime; excellent and flavourful starters followed by big fresh servings and generous meat portions. Definitely come hungry. All the service was very prompt, but only until the dishes were cleared away. We sat around for half an hour being ignored until we flagged someone down to ask about dessert then were left alone again so we stood up to go pay at the till. We thought we had seen another table pay at their table so we don’t know their payment arrangement. We left about 9:15 thinking we would love to come back for more of the food. Definitely recommend despite the hiccups.

Fantastic Vietnamese Restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is incredibly friendly and the food is absolutely authentic. Every dish is freshly prepared and tastes great - the pho was to die for and the summer rolls were particularly delicious. We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail and the high quality of the ingredients. The portion sizes are generous and the prices are fair. If you love Vietnamese cuisine, you won't be disappointed here!

Prices significantly higher than other Vietnamese. The noodles weren't completely cooked through, so I didn't eat them. Waitress asked that I pay tip.

We were here for the first time today and were very satisfied. The food was delicious, both vegetarian and meat, and the service was good. The restaurant is also very nicely decorated :) we always try out Asian restaurants in Düsseldorf and have... felt comfortable here. The only thing I could comment on is that the Msuik could possibly be a little quieter.

Today I recommend this very nice Vietnamese place, 100% specialised on vegan food. Place is nice and bright with large windows, food is delicious, I enjoyed the Flamingo Bowl today, see photo, and I will certainly return.

Very nice shop with a great atmosphere. The service was super friendly and quick. I chose the mango curry with baked duck. I really liked the dish because the meat didn't taste cooked at all and was stringy. The curry itself was beautifully fruity and creamy. Overall, a really great meal. My friend's food was equally pleasing and was well received. The price/performance ratio is very good. The portions are generous, the service is attentive and the atmosphere makes you feel comfortable. For me everything fell into place.

The food was OK. The dishes were very classic. The prices were rather high. The beer tasted a bit stale. The cocktail is too sweet. We wouldn't come again, there are much better restaurants in the price segment and with better cuisine.

Mango salad was great Sommerro for €7.50 could be described as outrageous, a roll in four parts and less noodles and more vegetables would at least have been comforting. It's a shame we always enjoyed coming here.

Totally thrilled. The menu was very clearly laid out and, above all, not too crowded. The food was ready quite quickly. The place wasn't crowded for a Friday evening either. Service was friendly and competent. The decor was a real eye-catcher and the homemade lemonades were a dream. Gladly again.

Good Vietnamese restaurant, centrally located, delicious vegan options

Some 10/10 Pho and duck curry; the pho was light but flavorful and the curry had some strong flavors, so for those who are looking for variety of tastes this place is great. The servers were nice and welcoming

Vegetables overcooked. Didn't finish the soup. We were late, but the food still has to be well prepared and the ingredients are right. We wouldn't recommend. Service friendly.

Unfortunately, the Bahnh Mi's are not tasty and have little to do with the delicious dish from Vietnam. Ready-made baguettes are used here (recognizable by the cross pattern on the back) and sold for a high price with some toppings. In comparison, you can get better things for half the price at a normal bakery. Please take them off the menu straight away, because the shop also has delicious dishes.

Unfortunately, it's somehow getting old. The food no longer tastes the way it used to. Everything is a bit of a path. Furthermore, homeless people repeatedly came to the table during the evening and asked for money. The atmosphere was therefore rather depressed and not so nice. OMG!!! One of the best Vietnamese food I have ever eaten, must come for everyone who is in Dusseldorf.

Very nice restaurant. Staff is friendly and quick. There is real restaurant service in this store. Why do I mention this? In Düsseldorf you can find a lot of so-called “semiservice”. That means that as a guest I have to do everything that I don't feel like doing. Anyone who likes Asian or Vietnamese food will be happy here. The best summer rolls I've ever had.

I had the Banh Mi Chao, a sort of mixed hot plate. Everything on it was delicious except the meat. It was a disaster – tough as a shoe sole. I don't know if that's always the case or if the chef was having a bad day. The salmon dish from the weekend menu, however, was fantastic.

A reservation over the phone was quick and easy. When I arrived I was greeted warmly, although the staff seemed a bit cold and distant. There is a good selection of different dishes from Vietnamese cuisine without being overwhelmed by the selection. After a few minutes, the homemade lemonades we ordered arrived. I had the “Galaxy Soda”, which was fruity and appetizing, with a nice color gradient in the drink. A real eye-catcher. The waiting times for the main courses weren't long either and all the dishes came at the same time. The food was presented “interestingly”, although the presentation of the noodles was a bit over-staged for my taste. These were hung on a stand, which is why they unfortunately dried out in the air, became a little sticky and were no longer completely warm. In addition, the curry splashes onto your clothes when you take the noodles out. Nice visual idea but unfortunately not well thought out. A very tasty curry. My noodles were chewy, the vegetables were fresh, the tofu, as described, crispy. The sanitary area leaves something to be desired. There are cleaning products lying around, a torn wall in the toilet, urine on and next to the toilet seat. Toilet door locking mechanism partially defective.

Fast, almost too fast serving. The noodles had probably been ready all day and the soup was completely over when the order was placed. No vegetables, chilli or lime on the side unfortunately. Lots of bean sprouts that weren't in the freshest form either. €4.50 for a small glass of iced coffee (inc lots of ice).

It was a very, very nice evening at To1980 - we've already decided to eat there and can't complain. The food was delicious and the staff/service was very nice. Always happy again 🥰.
