Ein großartiger Abend: Essen, Weine, unheimliche nette Bedienung. Das war unter den vielen guten Restaurants in Düsseldorf etwas Besonderes.

Cooles Ambiente mit schöner Atmosphäre. Allerdings war es bei unserem Besuch sehr voll und dadurch ziemlich laut – eine Unterhaltung war teilweise etwas schwierig. Das Essen und der Wein waren lecker, die Auswahl auf der Karte könnte aber etwas größer sein. Mein Partner ist Vegetarier und hatte daher nicht allzu viele Optionen. Schade war außerdem, dass die Trüffelpasta, wegen der wir extra gekommen sind, bereits ausverkauft war. Positiv hervorzuheben ist der Service: Die Bedienung war sehr nett, aufmerksam und sichtlich bemüht, den Gästen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Insgesamt ein schöner Abend mit gutem Essen und freundlichem Service, wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder ☺️

Wir waren an einem Donnerstag hier und wurden sehr nett empfangen. Es war zu Beginn recht wenig los, jedoch wurde es immer voller☺️. Die Bedienung war zu jeder Zeit freundlich und zuvorkommend und hat sich immer Zeit genommen für unsere Wünsche. Als wir dann noch einen Dessert bestellten, war die Dame total glücklich und das war einfach total schön ☺️🤩.

Wir haben hier vor ca. 2 Jahren Trüffelnudeln gegessen, da hatten die damals noch 19,90€ gekostet soweit ich mich erinnern kann. Geschmacklich war es wirklich sehr gut, es war nicht zu intensiv (für diejenigen die es nicht zu stark wollen, kann sich aber auch verändert haben) und sehrr cremig. Em Brass ist heute noch ein sehr gut besuchter Laden und ich bin mir sicher, dass es sich für die Trüffelpasta immer noch lohnt es auszuprobieren. Ich selbst werde auch nochmal hingehen und gebe euch vielleicht mal ein Update. Wenn ihr schon zu viele Läden im Vergleich habt, nehme ich euch die Entscheidung ab und sage geht heute einfach hier hin und probiert es aus :))

Leider ein Reinfall. Preis Leistung stimmt nicht mehr, die Portionen werden kleiner, die Preise steigen. Auch die gesunkene MwSt wird nicht an den Kunden weitergegeben. Die Pasta Carbonara hatte kaum Speck, schmeckte käsig und war maximal lauwarm. Der Geräuschpegel ist unerträglich laut. Die Musik-Boxen funktionieren nicht und scheinen zu machen, was sie wollen. Mal laut mal leiser …. Die Gäste werden lauter und lauter, da sie ihr eigenes Wort nicht mehr verstehen. Vielleicht sollte sich das em Brass erstmal richtig um die Probleme im jeweiligen Laden kümmern, als mehr und mehr Läden zu eröffnen.

Leider wurde auf Betreiben von Neidern aus dem Umfeld des Embrass eine frühere *****-Bewertung vom Netz genommen. Der mit viel Liebe, Fleiß und Kompetenz erarbeitete Erfolg der Embrass Crew gefällt eben nicht jedem. Und Schlangen vor deren Läden, während man selbst einsam vor sich hin brutzelt, sind natürlich mit allen Mitteln zu bekämpfen. Dabei ist der Boom auf der Moltkestraße hochverdient. Vor allem, weil neben der kreativen Küche und der exzellenten Weinkarte Leidenschaft und Gastfreundlichkeit unverändert eine 10/10 sind. Egal, ob Embrass oder Pastabar Embrass. Ich liebe es!

Sehr eng bestuhlt und laut. Die hoch gelobte Trüffelpasta war fad und nicht überzeugend. Dafür war Entrcôte mega, die Vorspeisen waren auch lecker. Die Bedienung war etwas unaufmerksam, bei der Bestuhlung leider nicht verwunderlich.

Meine Erfahrung im Restaurant Embrass war rundum beeindruckend und gehört definitiv zu den besten Restaurantbesuchen, die ich in Düsseldorf hatte. Schon beim Betreten fällt das außergewöhnlich schöne Ambiente auf. Das Restaurant ist stilvoll und modern eingerichtet, gleichzeitig aber warm und einladend. Die harmonische Beleuchtung, geschmackvolle Dekoration und die liebevoll gestalteten Details schaffen eine Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Egal ob für ein romantisches Dinner, einen besonderen Anlass oder einen entspannten Abend mit Freunden. Das Essen war wirklich ausgezeichnet gut. Jeder Gang war nicht nur optisch ansprechend angerichtet, sondern auch geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau. Die Zutaten wirkten frisch und hochwertig, die Aromen waren perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Man merkt deutlich, dass hier mit viel Leidenschaft, Kreativität und Können gekocht wird. Besonders beeindruckend war die Liebe zum Detail. Von der Präsentation bis zur geschmacklichen Feinabstimmung stimmte einfach alles. Auch der Service verdient großes Lob. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken. Wünsche wurden schnell erfüllt, Empfehlungen kompetent ausgesprochen und man hatte jederzeit das Gefühl, als Gast wirklich willkommen zu sein. Diese Kombination aus Herzlichkeit und Professionalität hebt das Erlebnis zusätzlich auf ein sehr hohes Niveau. Insgesamt überzeugt das Restaurant Embrass durch exzellente Küche, herausragenden Service und ein wunderschönes Ambiente. Ein Besuch ist absolut empfehlenswert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Ich habe kürzlich dieses neue japanische Restaurant besucht und war insgesamt sehr angetan. Ich bestellte Sushi, Tempura, frittiertes Hähnchen und Yakitori (sowohl mit als auch ohne Lauch). Das Sushi war wunderschön angerichtet und sehr frisch. Das Tempura war ebenfalls sehr gut und knusprig, allerdings für meinen Geschmack etwas zu fest. Es war außerdem etwas zu wenig gewürzt, und die Dip-Sauce war etwas mild. Das frittierte Hähnchen hingegen war etwas zu salzig. Das Yakitori war ausgezeichnet, insbesondere die Variante ohne Lauch, die mir besser schmeckte als die mit Lauch. Der Service war wirklich hervorragend – aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend während meines gesamten Besuchs. Wenn die kleinen Probleme mit der Würzung und der Balance noch behoben werden, wird dieses Restaurant eine fantastische Ergänzung zu der bereits beeindruckenden Auswahl an japanischen Restaurants in Thonglor sein. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch.

Sehr cooles Ambiente, etwas dunkler aber mit den Kerzen schöner Vibe. Leider viel zu laut um sich auch nur ansatzweise angenehm unterhalten zu können. Vorspeisen waren top. Pasta auch sehr lecker. Definitiv etwas gehobenere Preise, aber das spiegelt sich auch in der Qualität wieder. Unser Favorit war definitiv der Crispy Pork Belly und die Carbonara. Trüffelpasta leider nicht allzu intensiv geschmeckt und die Portion etwas klein geraten. Die scharfen Spaghetti mit Burrato waren lecker und eine riesen Portion. Weinauswahl auch sehr gut. Also super Essen, gut besucht und etwas trubeliger.

Total leckeres Essen mit wirklich abgerundeten Feinheiten. Die Vorspeisen waren perfekt um zu teilen und von allem etwas zu probieren. Vor allem der Pork Belly war fantastisch. Dazu ein sehr aufmerksamer Service und guter Wein. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir fühlten uns hingezogen, weil das Restaurant immer voll aussieht. Also müssen die wohl was können, dachten wir. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut und lecker. Das war's leider schon. Ein erwachsener Mensch kann von keinem der Hauptgerichte satt werden. Die Preise sind dafür dann aber ganz großes Kino. Tischreservierung erfolgte online - mit Erinnerungsmail und Erinnerungsanruf um kurz vor 18 Uhr. Insgesamt wurde mir 7 (!) mal mitgeteilt, das wir den Tisch nur für 90 Minuten haben. Noch während des Platznehmens bekamen wir schon die Speisekarten gebracht, verknüpft mit der Frage, ob die Bedienung uns schon eine Flasche Wasser bringen darf. Apropos Getränke: dafür gibt es keine Karte, weil es sowieso nur Peroni (ohne Alkohol), Traubensaft-Schorle oder Wasser als alkoholfreie Getränke gibt. Ansonsten gibt es eine riesige Auswahl an Weinen. Diese kosten 8 - 9 Euro pro Glas. Jeder Quadratzentimeter des Lokals wird ausgenutzt und möglichst wenig Platz zwischen den Sitzplätzen gelassen. Viele fremde Menschen sitzen quasi an einem Tisch und teilen mit dir unfreiwillig den Gesprächsinhalt. Wer Pech hat sitzt direkt an der Eingangstüre im Durchzug. Bezahlung ist ausschließlich mit Karte möglich. Das ist für mich okay, aber eben nicht für alle. Die Speisen kamen superschnell. Nach einer Stunde waren wir fertig. Das fühlte sich alles extrem nach Massenabfertigung zur Gewinnmaximierung an. Ich denke nicht, dass wir nochmal ins "Em Brass" gehen werden.

Ein Ort der Glückseligkeit. Lecker, lecker, lecker und tolles Team!

einfach lecker... grandiose atmosphäre... einzigstes manko... bei alkoholfreien getränken sollte man etwas mehr auswahl haben als wasser und traubensaft...

Es ist ein bisschen wie mit der Konjunktur, alle jammern, aber wenn man in der Ferienzeit zum Flughafen geht, dann scheint das mit der Armut ein Gerücht zu sein. Gleiches gilt für die Gastronomie. An einem Samstagabend im Em Brass einen Tisch zu bekommen gleich einem Lottospiel. Bei der Reservierung wird man gefragt, wie lange man denn zu bleiben gedenke, jeder Zentimeter wird ausgenutzt, und mit inzwischen drei Locations auf der Moltkestraße scheint dieses Konzept sehr erfolgreich zu sein. Und ja, der Service ist aufmerksam, das Essen ist lecker, die Preise bleiben im Rahmen. Man merkt schon, dass es um Effizienz geht. Weinberatung? Nutzen Sie den QR-Code auf der Karte. Alles geht schnell und effizient, eher burschikos als elegant. Und dennoch bin ich am Ende sehr zufrieden, weil Qualität und Geschmack stimmen.

Update nach 6 Jahren : Hallo lieber Em Brass Chef, Als allererstes möchten wir uns noch einmal für die kulinarische Inspiration ganz herzlich bedanken, Em Brass war und ist immer noch unser einmaliges Highlight. Wir kennen Em Brass sowohl mit Holzpaletten als auch runderneuert und jetzt auch 2 Schritte weiter. Ihr habt an nichts nachgelassen, ihr bleibt weiterhin unsere Nummer eins. Wir haben in üben 40 Ländern in unterschiedlichen Restaurants gegessen, aber die besten seid immer noch ihr! Natürlich haben wir euch schon damals bewertet, mit damals schon 5 Sternen! Jetzt das Negative: du hast uns gesagt, dass wir keine Reservierung für das Pasta Restaurant brauchen, so falsch ! Es muss so gut sein, dass es keinen Platz mehr für uns gab. Wir werden es weiterhin versuchen. Wenn man sagt der erste Eindruck täuscht, dann stimmt das zu 100 % hier. Wenn man durch den Eingang kommt, dann sieht es eher nach einem Imbiss aus. Wenn dann allerdings das Essen serviert wird, kommt man aus dem Staunen nicht mehr heraus. Sehr gute Grundqualität durch sehr gute Köche zu einem Gaumenschmaus der Extraklasse verfeinert. Wir waren jetzt ein paar Mal hier und kommen bestimmt noch öfter. Einen sehr kleinen Minuspunkt gibt es dann doch noch, es gibt kein Weizenbier.

Der Service am Tisch war gut, aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Ambiente ist nett. Kulinarische ist das Restaurant leider keine Empfehlung. Die Darreichung der Speisen ist lieblos. Geschmacklich war es leider auch eine totale Enttäuschung . Am Ende des Abends wurde der Gast noch darauf hingewiesen, dass er beim nächsten Mal bitte die Gruppe anmelden soll. Die Reservierung bzw. Anmeldung war 14 Tage vorher telefonisch erfolgt und bestätigt worden. Man fühlte sich leider nicht willkommen. Sehr schade.

The waiter's incredibly rude tone at the end of the evening when we paid completely ruined what had been a very positive evening. You shouldn't have to put up with that. Ultimately, you're a paying customer who needs to be treated with respect, otherwise you'll lose them for good.

Amazing evening at EmBrass! The octopus was cooked to perfection – absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned. The mussels as a starter were perfect; all that was missing were the fries 😎. The wine from Weinhaus Knebel? Absolutely fantastic! Max, thanks for the recommendation! The service was relaxed yet attentive, just my style. I'll definitely be back when I'm in Düsseldorf.

Modern restaurant. Very large selection of wines. We had a wonderful roast goose leg with red cabbage. A change to the dish was readily accommodated at no extra charge. We had a glass of Primitivo, which was very full-bodied. And at a fair price. Perfectly chilled. Clean restrooms with a cool club vibe (graffiti on the walls). Attentive and friendly waiters. We'll gladly come back!

Unfortunately, that's where the positive impressions end. The appetizers and main courses were average at best—not bad, but neither the quality nor the quantity justified the high prices. The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. We were a large group, which can certainly be a challenge, but the staff made it quite clear that our presence was seen as more of a burden. The low point came at the end of the evening: We had brought a homemade cake to celebrate a friend's 30th birthday and politely asked for serving plates. To our surprise, we were told that this was not permitted unless we paid an additional charge per person for plates and forks. This was after we had already ordered a full dinner for 15 people—including appetizers, main courses, several bottles of wine, and cocktails—with a total bill exceeding €500. When we calmly brought up the issue and asked for an exception, especially since we wanted to order wine with dessert, one of the waiters reacted extremely rudely and even raised his voice. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior in a restaurant. In short: Average food, exorbitant prices, and service that in no way lives up to the restaurant's reputation. Very tasty truffle pasta. Both the truffle pasta and the pasta with tomato sauce and chives were excellent. There was no skimping on the truffles, and for my taste, the sauce wasn't too heavy or too cheesey or Parmesan-heavy, as is often the case with truffle pasta. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente. The ambiance is also very nice. The prices are reasonable for the high-quality food.

I've been there a few times now, and whether on the terrace in summer, in the heated tent in winter, or inside in the cozy atmosphere, the food and wine are always excellent! All dishes are of very high quality and freshly prepared. The service is particularly noteworthy – a very competent, friendly, and attentive team! These days, I only follow the recommendations of the friendly young waiter, who definitely knows how to serve! Absolutely recommend it!!! :-)

My absolute favorite restaurant in Düsseldorf! ❤️ Everything at EmBrass is just perfect. The food is always a highlight, the atmosphere is super cozy, and the team is incredibly friendly. You immediately feel welcome and completely at ease. I can especially recommend the Nduja, it's simply divine! But honestly, everything here is top-notch. Whether inside with its great vibe or outside on the beautiful terrace, I always love coming back!

So far, the place hasn't disappointed me – and I go there at least once on every visit to Düsseldorf. The wine list has a wide selection, and upon request, you'll receive professional, personalized advice. The team always does their best to anticipate your every wish. The menu changes and offers classic dishes from all over the world, sometimes with new interpretations. I personally recommend the carbonara; you won't find it better anywhere. It's on the menu year-round. 10/10 recommendation, looking forward to my next visit 😘😇

We celebrated a birthday with about eight people. The service was fast and courteous, the ambiance was very nice and cozy, and of high quality. There's outdoor seating, and the price is perfectly reasonable. The only drawback – the carbonara, like other dishes, was too salty. I would still recommend it to everyone!

Best Best Best Restaurant in DUS!

We really enjoyed our evening at Em Brass. We tried the watermelon with feta and ceviche as starters, the fussiloni pasta, argentinian entrecote and grilled octopus arm. The entrecote was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, the octopus was a little bit too salty for our taste. I loved the fussiloni but the other people at the table didn't. The noodles are super fresh and delicious, we all agreed about that. The ceviche could've used more citrus for our taste, it didn't have enough lime juice. The watermelon salad was tasty but 15€ is an outrageous price for a slice of watermelon, in my opinion. Overall, the prices are fair but some dishes are a bit too pricy in my opinion. We would gladly come back though as the menu rotates and I'm sure there are some future dishes worth trying!

A lovely evening with nice people. The only downside was the service. It was packed, very packed, and unfortunately, you couldn't order more drinks. But you can't share (I understand). Nevertheless, I'd be happy to come back.

Very nice atmosphere, buzzy and busy neighbourhood place. I really can’t agree with the food ratings, the stracciatella was more like cottage cheese and the carbonara sauce lacked depth and seemed too cheesy, should be more eggy. The pancetta was what saved it, nice and crispy and was where the flavour was. The service was excellent, friendly and accommodating.

It's a great place to spend time after work with friends, sitting outside and watching the sun set between the buildings! After 7pm, there are a lot of people inside and outside, so there may be a wait, but it's a great place to spend time chatting with friends and acquaintances while eating/drinking wine. The food was okay. However, it was a little disappointing that the seats were a little too close together.

This is the best italian restaurant i have been to in a very very long time!! We arrived after they closed the kitchen but they were very very kind and let us order anyway. As for the food….i have no words, everything was superlative!! Definetly recommend ordering the truffle pasta!! They are out of this world. Very very delicious.

We ate here on Saturday for a friend's birthday. Even though it was very busy, the waiters arranged a large table for us inside. We arrived quite late, but we still got our food pretty quickly, and it was absolutely delicious! The menu is small but fine, with something for every taste. This was my first time here and I can only recommend it. The value for money is excellent, and they offer excellent wines—I would definitely recommend it to wine lovers! I'd love to come back soon and am already looking forward to it!

We were here on Friday, just the two of us, for the first time in a while. And what can I say? An incredibly good experience from start to finish! Fast, extremely friendly service. A fantastic selection of thoughtful dishes, all of which were incredibly delicious. And an exceptional wine list to go with it. We ended up staying for six hours and were absolutely thrilled. A small, fine menu, and the food delivers on its promises. The tuna sashimi was quite unusual; I actually prefer it a bit spicier. My corn-fed chicken with quinoa and harissa was a solid A. Very friendly, relaxed, and knowledgeable service. The wine recommendations were very individual and spot on. My problem: the infernal noise in the packed restaurant—simply unbelievable.

Delicious, but the taste didn't quite match the second location. Unfortunately, the appetizers weren't quite as good value for money. The truffle spaghetti, however, is among the best in town. A bit more vegetarian options on the menu would be welcome; I got the impression that the few meatless dishes were mostly ordered by the people around me. A non-alcoholic drinks menu would also improve the experience. The noise level outside is acceptable, but it's very loud inside, but that's down to the customers.

When you come from the countryside to the big city, are invited to a birthday dinner, sit on a main road, feel the vibrations of the tram in addition to the noise of the big city, don't know if the crowd behind you is hoping for a free seat or waiting for the tram, have a table reserved for 5 people and are still only given space for four and in the end, in all honesty, have no choice but to award the meal five stars, then I really have to admit that the small, yet very varied, selection on the menu in all variations (starter, main course and dessert) was convincing, even if the waitresses were more vocally communicating with people in vehicles than with the customers... I don't need that again.

Everything is there to have a good evening. Top notch service. Quality cuisine. We love it.

We sat inside. It was a bit too loud and it was very uncomfortable to sit at the high tables on a longer evening. Table and chairs somehow awkward. I had Rigatoni Carbonara... Not really as you know it... okay in terms of taste. Very crispy hard diced ham. Price performance okay.. rather a bit expensive.

We ended up at Em Brass by chance and sat outside. The truffle pasta was good, but not necessarily worth the price. The atmosphere was quite nice and the service was nice. Huge wine list available. All in all, a good place for a nice evening, although there are better places for pasta.

For me the best address in Düsseldorf! Whether it's a starter or a main course, the dishes are incredibly tasty. Very creatively prepared and a highlight in terms of taste that I only know in this quality from star restaurants. Whether it's a relaxed pasta evening or something more unusual, you'll always find what you're looking for here. Also very good wine list with some highlights that I rarely get anywhere else. Cozy atmosphere and very authentic, quick-witted waitresses. Top!

I was here for the first time today. My rating is based on the prices, which are on the higher end. Had the tuna as a starter and the cheeks as a main course. I was a little lacking in spirit. The taste was good but didn't really appeal to me. Complaining on a high level but given the prices I expect more in terms of taste. The ambience is cool. The shop is full of interesting people. The service is good but you could ask how it tasted. But a total of four points. But I will come back again to try the other dishes.

Was there for the first time yesterday as part of a Sommelier Union event, really excellent food, beautifully presented, charming service and great wine selection, highly recommended!

Five stars well deserved in every respect! The food is really delicious, the service staff is very attentive, courteous and friendly. We also really liked the wine selection. We would love to come back and look forward to warm summer nights with a good glass of wine and delicious pasta.

I was there with a friend a few weeks ago and we didn't like it at all. In any case, we cannot understand the good reviews. The food was so-so, the spaghetti with truffle wasn't good at all, it had little taste but there was too much truffle oil. Spaghetti with burrata was good. Let's get to the main problem. The waitress was confused and gave us the feeling that she wasn't interested in us, simply when we came in no one took us to our place and we stood there for 5 minutes (the restaurant was empty and the waiters saw us but nothing made). It also took them a long time to bring us the cards and other people who came in later were already ordering. But in the end she was very nice. The second waiter, a slightly fatter man, was super rude and talked to us as if we were from the lower class simply because we were the youngest in the restaurant (17-18). I asked him if I could have the menu again for a dessert and he said no and asked why (he didn't say it as a joke, he was serious). I then had to ask the waitress for the menu. Then he came when he saw that we hadn't eaten our starter yet and asked why we weren't eating, so I said we were waiting for our main course because we wanted to have everything together, then he started complaining to me. The only perfect waiter was the blonde-haired one. Music is also way too loud and you can't understand each other. I don't recommend going to this restaurant too high prices, waiters with mood swings, not a good atmosphere and other guests are all aloof too. I'm a person with a lot of understanding because I'm a waitress myself but that was catastrophic and also my very first review for a restaurant because I was so incredibly disappointed. We won't come again.

Today we were at Em Brass for the first time with six people. Unfortunately, we cannot fully understand the good reviews. The food was ok, but nothing special, some too salty, too much garlic, not enough flavor. None of us were really happy. It was also quite loud, which unfortunately made it very difficult to have a conversation with six people. The service was very nice, so I'm sorry I can't say anything better.

The carbonara was very good - finally a shop that fries the bacon to perfection. Thanks! Really good. The starters were ok - not great in terms of taste. The staff was thinly staffed, so plan for longer waiting times. Wine advice top. Unfortunately a bit loud to hear people sitting more than one seat away.

Once again a guest at Em Brass. At that time it was still in the small location next door, the move was worth it, it has become a great, larger restaurant, stylishly furnished and a nice ambience. The food was amazing, well seasoned, high quality and a good price/performance ratio. Very good selection on the food and drink menu, especially the wine selection is gigantic. However, there is also freshly tapped Peroni. The service, as always, outstanding, friendly and competent.

Good food, a nice mix of new and old dishes. Delicious.
