Gerne wieder! Leider konnten wir nicht länger bleiben, da schlechtes Wetter aufgezogen ist 😅

Toller Service, sehr gut gekühlte Getränke und das Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich. Immer wieder gerne.

Wir saßen bei sommerlichen 33 Grad im Biergarten und einen schattigen Baum und konnten unser Essen und Getränke genießen. Die Salate sind sehr lecker und mit Liebe zubereitet. Auch die anderen Speisen, die wir hatten wie Schnitzel, Steak und auch das Vegetarische Schnitzel waren gut. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Ein gut organisiertes und sehr freundliches Team lässt keinen Wunsch offen. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Der wunderschön gestaltete Biergarten lädt zum Verweilen und zur Entspannung ein. Die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken ist groß. Ein gepflegter, großer Adventure-Golfplatz rundet den positiven Gesamteindruck ab. Bestens geeignet für Familienfeiern.

Leider ist das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis der Speisen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehbar. Die Preise an sich sind Grade noch OK aber dann kommt das ABER. Ein kleiner Beilagensalat (Salat,Gurke,kleine Tomate) ist nicht inklusive und hat uns 17 Euro extra gekostet. An sich waren die Gerichte schön angerichtet aber sehr kleine Portionen. Auch mein Rumpsteak war für mich kein Rumpsteak, da es keinen Fettrand hatte. Was für mich ausschlaggebend für ein Rumpsteak ist. Schnitzel war groß aber hauchdünn. Jetzt das sehr positive: Sehr Schönes Restaurant mit hervorragendem Biergarten und Sandkasten für die Kinder. Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Ich war gestern mit Freunden das erste Mal dort und ich fand es toll . Sehr leckeres Essen ,sehr nette Bedienung und eine tolle ,gemütliche Außenterrasse. Ich / wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 👍🏻

Sehr schöner, gemütlicher kleiner Biergarten, ein ganz liebes Service Team und leckeres schön angerichtetes Essen. Was will man mehr? Ich komme samt Familie wieder! Und apropos Familie: einen tollen Kunstrasen Adventure Minigolfplatz und Kegelbahn und ein Schiesskino gibt es auch noch. Ich habe den "Golfplatz" ausprobiert und es war sehr spaßig - denke aber Kinder unter 8 Jahren könnten schnell frustriert sein, denn der Platz hat ein paar wirklich anspruchsvolle Bahnen. Alles in allem einfach toll!

Zum Landgasthaus gehört ein toll und liebevoll gestalteter Biergarten. Die Außengastronomie ist Spitze. Wir wurden mit leckerem Essen, Getränken und einem klasse Service verwöhnt. Wer dabei traumhaft schöne Sonnenuntergänge genießen möchte liegt hier genau richtig. Einfach ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen!

Sehr schönes Ambiente mit schöner Aussicht auf Neunkirchen-Seelscheid und die bergische Landschaft. Toller Biergarten mit unmittelbar anliegendem Adventure Golf und großem Sandkasten mit kleinem Spielturm. Essen lecker, aber sowohl bei den Erwachsenen- als auch bei den Kinderspeisen kleine Portionen. Ein Beilagensalsat ist bei den Schnitzelgerichten (wie meist üblich) nicht dabei, sodass die Preise, wenn man sie ins Verhältnis zur Portionsgröße setzt, m.E. deutlich zu hoch angesetzt sind, insbesondere dann, wenn Jung und Alt danach noch immer hungrig sind. Kleine Schälchen für Ketchup und Mayonnaise im Übrigen auch nur zur Hälfte befüllt. Schade, dass hier (versteckt) gespart wird und der Kunde mit Blick auf die üppigen Preise nicht vollauf zufrieden ist.

Gemütliches und Modernes Ambiente. Für veganes Essen würde bei dem Event nach einer Voranmeldung auch gesorgt. Auch das Büfett war sehr lecker

Wir haben dort einen wunderschönen Tag verbracht. Das Essen und der Service waren Top. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Jahr, denn wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder.

War als Gast auf einer Hochzeit eingeladen. Der Service wirkte zeitweise stark überfordert, wenn auch stets um Freundlichkeit bemüht. Nach alkoholfreiem Sekt und Orangensaft beim Empfang musste mehrmals gefragt werden. Die Toiletten, insbesondere die Herrentoilette im Obergeschoss am Festsaal war leider total dreckig, es roch stark nach Urin und der Toilettensitz sah dementsprechend aus. Manche Gäste haben sich diesbezüglich echt daneben benommen. Hygienisch einwandfrei sieht anders aus. Essen war überwiegend ok vom Buffet, aber echt nichts besonderes, nur "so mittel". Die Lage des Restaurants finde ich als Stadtmensch schwierig. Ohne Auto kaum zu erreichen, Landstraßen mit Serpentinen ausgesprochen gefährlich. Fazit: nööö, lass mal!

Wir haben am 18.10.2025 unsere Hochzeit im Landgasthaus Herchenbach gefeiert und hätten uns keinen besseren Ort wünschen können. Von der Planung bis zur Feier hat alles super geklappt und alle Absprachen wurden genau so umgesetzt. Das Essen war hervorragend, der Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und die Location einfach perfekt für unsere Hochzeit. Ein großes Dankeschön auch an den Inhaber und das ganze Team – wir konnten unseren Tag einfach genießen und eine unvergessliche Feier erleben. Absolute Empfehlung!

Ich habe am Sonntag meinen Geburtstag gefeiert, mit einem "rundum sorglos Paket". Es war ein wunderschöner Tag. Nochmals vielen Dank an Herrn und Frau Herchenbach, und Team.

Wir haben am 06.Februar mit 34 Gästen unsere Hochzeit im Landgasthaus Herchenbach gefeiert. Es war wunderbar! Tolles Essen und Getränke. Traumhaft der Starter und das Buffet. Unsere mitgebrachten alkoholischen Getränke wurde in Absprache mit ausgeschenkt. Am Ende haben wir die wenigen Reste mit nach Hause genommen und nach 2 Tagen war alles verputzt. Lecker lecker lecker. Der tolle Service war mega schnell und immer freundlich. Die gesamt Preis war sehr fair. Die Familie Herchenbach hat alles sehr flexibel gestaltet so das die kurzfristigen Absagen in keiner Weise ins Gewicht fielen. Wir waren und sind es immer noch sehr zufrieden. Natürlich kommen wir als Gäste zurück und das bestimmt noch öfter.

Das Landgasthaus Herchenbach überzeugt mit einer gelungenen Mischung aus traditioneller Küche und liebevoller Gastfreundschaft. Schon beim Betreten spürt man die gemütliche, ländliche Atmosphäre, die sofort zum Verweilen einlädt. Als Vorspeise hatte ich die Garnelen – perfekt gegart, aromatisch gewürzt und ansprechend angerichtet. Sie waren zart, saftig und machten definitiv Lust auf mehr. Der frische Salat war nicht nur geschmacklich überzeugend, sondern auch optisch ein echtes Highlight. Besonders das Einrollen der Zutaten in Gurkenscheiben war ein echter Hingucker – kreativ, modern und einfach cool umgesetzt. Dazu ein ausgewogenes Dressing, das die frischen Komponenten wunderbar ergänzt hat. Das Highlight des Abends war jedoch das Pfefferschnitzel: wunderbar saftig, mit einer kräftigen, aber harmonisch abgestimmten Pfeffersauce, die dem Gericht eine angenehme Würze verlieh, ohne zu dominant zu sein. Auch die Pommes dazu waren hervorragend – goldbraun, knusprig außen und innen schön fluffig. Genau so müssen sie sein. Abgerundet wurde das Ganze durch einen aufmerksamen, freundlichen Service und eine entspannte Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Fazit: Ein rundum gelungener Besuch mit durchdachter Präsentation und geschmacklich überzeugenden Gerichten. Das Landgasthaus Herchenbach ist definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Heute Abend mit 6 Personen Essen gewesen. Alle begeistert. Sowas von lecker, unglaublich. Hier passt alles.Die schönste Überraschung der Seniorchef, mit dem meine Eltern schon gut befreundet waren, kam noch an den Tisch und wir konnten noch von früher erzählen.

Wir haben den 40 Geburtstag hier gefeiert und waren rundum zufrieden und das Essen war super lecker und kann man nur weiter empfehlen

Ich habe dort meinen 40igsten Geburtstag gefeiert, mit Buffetessen und das war richtig lecker. Der Service ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Ich kann das Landgasthaus Herchenbach nur weiterempfehlen. Nicht nur für Feiern sondern auch nur zum reinen Essen.

Super gutes, frisches Essen! Frisch gemachte, super leckere Bratkartoffeln, die extra zu meinem Sellerieschnitzel ohne Speck zubereitet wurden. Dazu super Service.

Lohnt sich und ist sehr angenehm dort zu sitzen. Nettes Personal und vor allem sehr Aufmerksam den besonderen Bedürfnissen der Gäste gegenüber. Gerne wieder!

Wir haben uns dort mit einer kleineren Gruppe getroffen. Der Raum war sehr schön und ansprechend dekoriert, das junge Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir konnten trotz der Gruppengröße aus der Karte bestellen, die zu unseren großen Freude eine gute Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten enthielt. Das Essen kam prompt und war sehr gut. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr schönen Abend, wir kommen gerne nochmals wieder.

The Herchenbach country inn has always been one of my favorites. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is consistently good, and if there's ever a problem, Berit is always happy to help. In the summer, there's a fantastic beer garden, and the adjoining adventure golf course is perfect for a fun round with the kids.

There's something for everyone on the menu. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Despite the large number of guests, the food arrived promptly and hot. There was also a button on the table to request service... which wasn't necessary for us, as the service was very attentive.

A truly fantastic restaurant with very friendly service, delicious food, and a wonderful, cozy atmosphere. We've been there three times already and will be back for a fourth time in a few days. Absolutely top-notch!!! The food is incredibly tasty. The extra €5.90 for the last salad, however, is a bit excessive. Perhaps they should consider including it with the schnitzel 😉 Definitely recommend it. It's best to reserve online in advance! That way, you're guaranteed a table. If you don't have a reservation, you should expect to be turned away!

We celebrated our wedding at Haus Herchenbach this year. The service was perfect. Plenty of time was taken for the pre-wedding consultation, and on the day itself, everything went exactly as we had hoped. The rooms are cozy, the food is excellent, and the service is very friendly. For us, it was a truly perfect day, and we would highly recommend it.

They have a friendly team and delicious, fresh food. For my taste, the portions could be a bit bigger though ✌️

Apparently, they no longer needed to serve food in the beer garden when the weather was nice. When we asked for a menu, we were told that no food was available without a reservation. Surprisingly, most of the tables were free, and there was no sign or notice indicating that no food was served in the beer garden.

We chose the Landgasthof Herchenbach for our wedding and held our reception on a Friday. We had our first meeting with the owner a few months in advance to discuss the key points of our wedding planning. This coordination was straightforward and pleasant. We quickly realized that the owners were passionate about their work. They contributed many creative ideas and helpful suggestions for improvement that enhanced our celebration. We took care of the decorations ourselves. The country inn made the banquet hall available to us the day before, so we could prepare everything in peace. Tables and chairs were provided by the hotel and expertly set up by the team. The final coordination regarding food, drinks, and the schedule took place a week before the reception. On the wedding day itself, friendly service staff were on hand throughout and available to answer any questions. The reception had to end at 3 a.m. for organizational reasons – however, this point was communicated clearly and transparently from the start. After the celebration, the staff carefully packed our decorations into the boxes we had brought with us and stored them in a separate room, allowing us to easily pick them up the following day. The country inn team took care of all the cleanup. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Landgasthof Herchenbach and would like to thank everyone involved for the excellent organization, the smooth collaboration, and the excellent food.

We were very satisfied. The welcome was very warm and the service extremely attentive, even though the restaurant was packed. The food was delicious and the value for money was excellent.

We celebrated our wedding at the Landgasthaus Herchenbach and were once again not disappointed. Whether it was the cuisine, service, food, or location, everything was, as always, fantastic. We stopped in as part of a cycling tour. 6 people. We just happened to stop. Unfortunately, they couldn't offer us seating without a reservation. We were able to enjoy our drinks at the standing tables. Service was very quick and courteous. It looked extremely cozy. Great sofas with apparently very comfortable seats. There were also a few tables, but unfortunately, they were all reserved. Can't comment on the food, as we only had hop spritzer. In any case, it's worth a visit! BUT: it's better to make a reservation!

We celebrated our wedding at the Landgasthaus Herchenbach in July of this year. From the very first contact, we were convinced we had found the perfect venue. The prices are fair, the beer garden (for our outdoor ceremony) was a dream, and the quality of the food and service were top-notch. We can wholeheartedly recommend Andreas and the entire team.

Absolutely fantastic location with magnificent sunsets! The food was excellent, especially the homemade ice cream! I was invited to a wedding there, and all my wishes were fulfilled :) Vegetarians and vegans were catered for too, with fantastic homemade alternatives! The owner seemed very knowledgeable and very friendly :)

We celebrated my birthday party with about 70 people at the Landgasthaus Herchenbach. The food, the ambiance in the hall, and the staff were simply fantastic. The planning and organization beforehand were also perfect. They even cooked a dessert for our guests based on our family recipe. We would love to come back.

If you want to enjoy a little break in a magical setting, this is the place for you 😃 The food and service are excellent! The sweeping view over Neunkirchen tops it off perfectly – we're always happy to come back.

We were here today with our two-year-old son and were unfortunately very disappointed. We were told that all the tables were reserved and therefore we couldn't eat anything. I wanted to at least order fries to go for my two-year-old son – even that wasn't possible because I wanted to pay with a voucher. You weren't allowed to eat anything on the beer garden tables anyway, only drinks. So our only option was mini golf, which is completely unsuitable for a child of that age and wasn't fun for him either. Reluctantly, we were at least brought drinks. When we asked if we could convert the last few euros from the voucher into drinks to go, this was also refused – on the grounds that drinks to go were "unusual." Particularly annoying and incomprehensible: While we were denied any opportunity to eat, other guests were allowed to dine at supposedly reserved tables. For me, this was a clear case of unequal treatment. The entire experience struck me as extremely unfriendly to customers—and, especially with regard to my two-year-old son, almost hostile to families. I had the distinct impression that we, as voucher guests, were unwelcome and therefore treated worse. That's not how you treat families—or paying guests in general. For us, it was a very disappointing experience and certainly not a place we'll visit again.

I was there today with my grandparents. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was really great. The service was apparently very unfriendly to parents who might have trouble expressing themselves clearly or understanding something directly. In the future, I would like to see more compassion and understanding in this regard.

Perfect place – especially for us with a child. The food was excellent and phenomenal for the price. Service was friendly and fast. Right next to the beer garden is a lovely little playground. We really enjoyed it and will be back.

We were only here to play mini golf and then had a drink. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The preliminary discussions ran absolutely smoothly and professionally. Mr. Herchenbach himself impressed us with his many years of experience, his calm demeanor, and his many valuable tips on wedding planning – it was worth its weight in gold! The ballroom more than exceeded our expectations: cozy, stylish, and with its own unique charm. They even had a screen and a stairlift – thought through down to the last detail! On the wedding day itself, everything went incredibly smoothly for us – the team at the Landgasthaus reliably coordinated the delivery of the wedding cake, the photo booth, and the DJ in the background. For us as the bride and groom, it was simply stress-free and pleasant. When it started to rain on the wedding day, they reacted spontaneously and flexibly – everything went like clockwork. The food was absolutely delicious, the service attentive, warm, and professional – we really couldn't have asked for anything better. A huge thank you to the entire team at the Landgasthaus Herchenbach – you made our day unforgettable! 💛 A definite recommendation for anyone looking for a lovingly run venue with heart and soul!

Great service, special requests were no problem, the staff were cheerful, the food was delicious, and to top it all off, the weather was perfect. We'll be back.

We were able to have our funeral dinner here after our mother's funeral, which had to be arranged very spontaneously, and it was incredibly uncomplicated. The hosts are flexible, professional, extremely professional, uncomplicated, and also extremely kind and friendly. The beautiful beer garden with its fantastic playground made it a great place for the many children, so we stayed until late in the evening. Thank you again for everything!

We celebrated our wedding there, and it was simply unforgettable! The ambiance was simply magnificent, perfect for children as well as for the "older" ones. The food was a 12/10!! The steak/meat was cooked to perfection, the salads were fresh/crisp, and the side dishes were perfect. And the service was a 12/10!! They were very attentive, very friendly, and always available. Mr. Herchenbach was also simply fantastic and fully responsive to our needs. We highly recommend it and would definitely hold a celebration or special occasion there again!

We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary in the beautiful beer garden of the Landgasthof Herchenbach – and it was a dream! The atmosphere was unique, the food simply outstanding, and the service left nothing to be desired: friendly, attentive, and warm. Our guests were thrilled and felt completely at home. A big thank you to the entire team – it was a very special day for us, one that we will remember fondly thanks to you!

I haven't been here in a while, and I was looking forward to a nice schnitzel. Unfortunately, I was disappointed because I'm definitely used to something different here. Maybe the chef was just having a bad day... the schnitzel wasn't crispy at all :( My two companions, who also had schnitzel, weren't good either. It's a shame, but since we've experienced something different here, we'll be back anyway.

I celebrated a milestone birthday at the country inn. We started in the beautiful beer garden and later moved upstairs to the large hall. The food was amazing, the service and the entire organization were perfect. A fantastic celebration! Thanks to the team at the Landgasthaus Herchenbach!

We had a very successful confirmation celebration at Herchenbach's. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed it and praised the food. We would have preferred to celebrate outside in the beautiful beer garden with a view, but the weather made this impossible. But we also had a wonderful time in the chicken coop with 24 people and were able to offer our guests a variety of activities, including the photo booth, hands-on activities, and mini golf. Thank you very much, we'd love to come back.

Wir waren heute mit 9 Personen dort, haben Minigolf gespielt und zwischendurch, als es anfing zu regnen, sind wir zum Essen ins Gasthaus gegangen. Wir wurden rundum freundlich aufgenommen, das Essen war hervorragend, sowohl die Vorspeisen als auch die Hauptgerichte. Es wurden Fleischgerichte genauso wie vegetarische Gerichte gegessen und alle, wirklich alle, waren mit dem Essen super zufrieden. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und hatten mit der Familie, einschließlich unserer 87 und 90 jährigen Eltern, alle auch viel Spaß beim Minigolf. Unsere Eltern haben alle 18 Bahnen mitgespielt! Das war eine wunderbarer Samstag Nachmittag und früher Abend!

Three of us ate at the Landgasthaus Herchenbach, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable visit! The restaurant is beautifully located, offers plenty of parking, and even a miniature golf course with an inviting beer garden – ideal for a relaxing outing. We sat inside, where the atmosphere was cozy and the service was quick and friendly. For starters, we had a bread basket with aioli – the bread was freshly baked and very tasty, although the aioli was a bit small and could have used a bit more punch. The main courses were all delicious, and the portions were absolutely fair – top value for money! The fried potatoes could have been a bit crispier for our taste, but that's just nitpicking. One small suggestion for improvement: coarse-grained salt and pepper mills on the tables would further enhance the dining experience and give the restaurant a little upgrade. Overall, it was a very nice evening with delicious food and great service – we would love to come back!

For our wedding, 27 of us had lunch at Herchenbach. The restaurant was opened especially for us; the advance coordination was excellent and extremely customer-oriented. Every request was accommodated, and on the day itself, all of our guests were blown away. The staff was super friendly, the menu was flexible, and special requests were possible. The food arrived promptly, and to top it all off, everything tasted fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant!

As always: delicious food, beautiful view, friendly service

We went out to eat Sunday lunch with five people. It was plentiful, delicious, and the drinks came in a flash. We had the best table ever, a corner table in the pub (now called the Gaststube) right by the bar, as insiders will confirm! The manager had time later, came over, and we chatted and laughed like old times – wonderful!

Birthday party with 10 adults and two children. Great service, even for the children. Excellent food, served at the same time for everyone.

We love going to the beer garden when the weather's nice. It's a great atmosphere with a beautiful view. The service was good as always, and the food was also good as always. We really enjoy going there, as the prices are also really reasonable. We're happy to come back.

We celebrated our wedding here at the beginning of May with family and friends and had a wonderful day. The location is of course perfectly located in the “green” and is beautifully furnished. The outdoor area in particular is beautifully landscaped. We celebrated in the large hall, which is perfect for a wedding reception. The staff was very attentive and friendly. From the meeting and planning of the event to the day itself, everything was very organized and well thought out. We were able to fully enjoy our wedding day. The food was perfect as always. Difficult without a reservation, but since I was alone my order could be put in between. Food very tasty. A great view of the Bergisches Land from the beer garden Went here again yesterday, this time in the restaurant. Again the food was excellent. Suckling pig pan is really great. Plus delicious fried potatoes and a salad. The way the food is prepared is also excellent. We'll definitely be back.

We have celebrated here several times, always very friendly and helpful. The food is great and when the weather is good, you can also use the beautiful terrace and play adventure golf.

Very nice, open and funny service. The food was also very tasty. The beer garden invites you to linger longer. What is also very practical for families with children: there is a playground.

First we went to the restaurant for something to eat. The food from all five of us was perfect, very tasty and decent portions. Drr service was very courteous, attentive and friendly, from the boss to the employees. Afterwards we "worked off" our food with a round of golf and had a lot of fun. Thanks for the great time. We'll definitely be back.

Great ambience... and delicious apple strudel

We had a family reunion and reserved the bowling alley. The bowling alley is very nice and we ate very well. We'll do that again next year.

Went spontaneously to the Herchenbach restaurant today. It worked without a problem without a reservation and got another spot. Waiting time perfect, service absolutely great and food was absolutely great. The price is totally reasonable. We'll definitely be back. I would also give it 6 stars. Great traditional restaurant.

You can eat very well there. The beer garden with the mini golf course is very successful and offers a beautiful distant view of Neuenkirchen.

Very nice beer garden. Food was also good. But a schnitzel with salad costs the same as a steak with salad. That doesn't fit

It was very nice in this country inn. Very cozy. Nice service and really good food. It wasn't the last time we were there.

Trying hard, but sometimes less is more. Garnish isn't everything. For example, I don't understand what melon and raspberries have to do with rump steak with fried potatoes.
