We had an extremely tasty meal in a very nice atmosphere, not just good, but special! The service was very gracious. However, the whole thing took quite a long time, whether that was due to the service or the kitchen was not transparent. Since the kitchen doesn't get any stars, the service has to pay for it, sorry! 🤭 Just bring some time for a nice, delicious, relaxing evening (at least on a Saturday). I'm still amazed by the taste experience!

The food at this restaurant was simply outstanding! We were particularly impressed by the fish dishes – fresh, perfectly seasoned, and prepared to perfection. A real highlight were the specials from the kitchen, presented with great attention to detail and providing a wonderful taste of the rest of the menu. Vorspeisen, Grüße aus der Küche und die Hauptspeisen, alles schmeckte top und hinterließ einen Wow-Effekt. Das gemütliche Ambiente und die zuvorkommende Bediehnung taten ihr Übriges um uns einen schönen Abend erleben zu lassen. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

My family and I have been visiting “Haus am Berg” for years and are always amazed by the special and delicious dishes, which are prepared with love every time. As a guest you always feel warmly welcome and the waitresses in particular definitely know their job and ensure a wonderful atmosphere every time! The menu is very well selected and the restaurant is lovingly and friendly decorated. The price-performance ratio is definitely good and the dishes are varied - What I find particularly nice is that even as a vegetarian you can be happy at “Haus im Berg”. A recommendation from me is the 3-course pasta menu, which always takes place on Thursdays and is accompanied by a glass of wine. I can definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who values ​​high quality and a taste experience. I look forward to our next visit, thank you very much for the lovely evening and the great service!

Upscale seasonal and regional cuisine in a feel-good atmosphere! We came as a group of 6 people with children and were served attentively and well. The food came to the table at the same time after two small greetings from the kitchen and tasted very good! The “Little Snack” at the end is definitely recommended!!! Unfortunately I didn't take any photos, but I'll definitely think about it next time ;-)

Small cozy restaurant. The food here is still fresh and honest. Prices reasonable for what is offered and in relation to quality. Small menu and not a work in 1000 volumes. Cozy beer garden. Nice selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic wines. We currently recommend Vinum on the last Sunday of the month.

Wir kamen um 19 Uhr und die freundliche Bedienung zeigte uns unseren Platz. 19:15 Uhr Aufnahme der Getränkebestellung 19:35 Uhr Getränke serviert und Essen aufgenommen 21:00 Uhr Servicekraft brachte unser Essen Das viel gelobte Esssen hier, erwies sich als Standard. Das Fischfilet und das Schnitzel wurden fürsAuge auf den Tellern nicht dekoriert. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt überhaupt nicht🥴. Wir haben ohne Nachtisch fast € 90 bezahlt für ein Essen auf das wir 1,5 Stunden gewartet haben!!! Gute Standardküche, mehr nicht.

We spent a very cozy evening here with four people and were served attentively and very courteously. The food was excellent, we ate several courses (tarte flambée, salad with goat cheese, etc.), with two greetings from the kitchen in between. Drink delicious wine with it. If you're looking for cheap, you've definitely come to the wrong place. If you value value for money and don't like hustle and bustle, you should spend the evening here. It certainly wasn't the last time we would eat, drink and sit comfortably in this hospitable place.

Update from our last visit - the food was again perfect, but we felt the price for the main course was a bit much given the small portion at over EUR 30. The price for a glass of wine at around EUR 9 is also not exactly cheap. It is certainly due to the circumstances and certainly understandable from a calculation point of view, but you can quickly get rid of 100 EUR with 2 people.

Everything is excellently prepared, you can taste that the kitchen is being worked with heart and expertise, the wines are selected and very wholesome - not just to be enjoyed with food. The decoration is lovingly chosen. We are always excited about the culinary delights to come. The food is healthy (organic, regional and seasonal) and just the right amount! The extremely extensive, exquisite range of meat-free dishes (also on a small menu) should not go unmentioned! Bravo, keep it up and à bientôt! It's still one of the very best foodie spots we know and we've traveled quite a bit (including in France!). The chef is not just a chef, but a maître de cuisine, his art is unparalleled. We highly recommend the restaurant, a visit is also an ideal gift as an invitation for family and friends! We will be happy to continue to be guests of this restaurant. See you next time!

In a hidden street with a beautiful atmosphere, where half-timbered houses are lined up next to each other, near the church in Seelscheid, you will find the pretty restaurant, also half-timbered. Friendly service Enjoy your meal Greetings from the kitchen and starter 3 little delights with very creamy dips and bread, absolutely tender schnitzel with fried egg and fried potatoes were really good. A cozy vineyard is available for the warmer evenings. Will come again.

We recently went to this restaurant for the 2nd time. After we had to put up with very long waiting times on our first visit due to staff being absent due to illness, we wanted to give it another chance here because the food and service were quite ok. Unfortunately we were disappointed again. Although from our point of view the restaurant was not that busy that day, we had to wait exactly an hour for our starter (soup), and after another half hour the main course arrived. Despite the kind greetings from the kitchen in between, it's just too long, there's something wrong with the organization here. The two-person service staff looks at you with wide eyes, but can neither console nor explain the guest. By the way, I heard the same thing from the next table. One more sentence about the food: I appreciate the ambitions and the regionality of the cuisine, but I have to say that the price/performance ratio is no longer right, the portions are simply too small, and the quality and taste are absolutely good. Unfortunately we won't be coming back again

Das Dessert, die selbstgemachten Nussecken, waren außerordentlich lecker und dabei waren sie nicht zu süß. Absolut empfehlenswert, danke für diese schöne bewirtung.

Das Haus am Berg hebt sich von anderen Lokalen in der Umgebung ab durch das gemütlich-elegante Ambiente, die Auswahl der vornehmlich deutschen Weine, die Qualität und Darbietung der sehr leckeren Speisen, die mit möglichst vielen regionalen Produkten zubereitet werden. Der Service ist freundlich, entspannt und kompetent, und das Preis-Leistungverhältnis stimmt. Das Haus am Berg ist eine tolle Empfehlung, wenn man mal in einer kleinen Gruppe oder zu Zweit ein bisschen schöner essen gehen möchte.

Since it's our last week in this part of Germany we decided to dine here twice in 5 days. The place is a true gem for the following reasons: 1)Welcoming staff, impeccable service. 2) the cuisine Without exception quality ingredients, carefully selected/combined and cooked to perfection. Croquettes handmade as well as the requested mayonnaise. It's a testimony to the standards of this restaurant: nothing factory produced on the table. Quality only, fresh only.

Leider müssen wir auf Grund des sehr langatmigen Service etwas schlechter bewerten. Das Essen ansich ist gut und man merkt das mit viel Liebe zubereitet wird. Aber der Service passt leider überhaupt nicht dazu. Wie gesagt - sehr viel Zeit mitbringen und wir mussten immer wieder nach Getränken fragen. Sehr oft leere Gänge der beiden Servicemitarbeiter und teilweise komische Erklärungen zu einfachen Fragen: „Warum wird das große Kölsch in Gaffel und das 0,2er in Schreckenskammer Gläsern ausgeschenkt? Um welches Kölsch handelt es sich denn?“ Antwort: „Weil Schreckenskammer keine großen Gläser hat, aber ist eigentlich ja auch egal - hauptsache es ist Bier im Glas…“ Naja…da bleiben doch ein paar Fragezeichen. Letztendlich würden wir wegen der Speisenqualität wiederkommen, jedoch passt die Servicequalität nicht zu den aufgerufenen Preisen. Schade!

Wir waren jetzt schon mehrfach da und sind immer wieder von der Qualität und dem Service begeistert. Trotz vollem Haus toller Service und keine langen Wartezeiten. Alle sehr freundlich und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar.

Tolle Location. Alles perfekt, bis auf: die Portionen warten echt winzig im Verhältnis zu den Preisen.
